The property slated to become the headquarters of Warriors star Stephen Curry's off-court business collective, Thirty Ink, has been sold, scrapping plans for the buzzy new office in San Francisco.
The company was set to relocate its headquarters from the SoMa district to the Dogpatch in the city's evolving Central Waterfront, after Curry purchased the property in 2024. The original half-century-old building at the site would've been replaced with a five-story, 24,691-square-foot structure.
But Curry sold the two-story building to Dane Reinsurance Inc. on Aug. 31, according to documents from the San Francisco **** sor-Recorder office. Dane Reinsurance is a corporation linked to Corgi, an AI startup with an all-night cafe, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. The property sold for $11 million, according to the Chronicle, a profit for Curry, given the original purchase price of $8.5 million. (The Chronicle and SFGATE are both owned by Hearst but have separate newsrooms.)
Erika Lee, a spokesperson for Corgi, told SFGATE "that's our building" by email Thursday and provided a link to an ominous video as Corgi's "public 'statement'" as of Thursday afternoon. Lee said the company will share more at a later time. The video, posted Tuesday morning on X and captioned, "Our side of the story with Steph Curry," features several news headlines about the sale and unidentified female narrator dressed in black who says, "We're building something bigger and better than anyone could ever imagine."

Nvidia's $5 billion Intel investment has produced an extraordinary paper gain, but the timeline matters. The companies announced the investment and product collaboration on September 18, 2025. Intel's SEC filing shows that NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) actually completed the purchase on December 26, 2025, acquiring 214,776,632 Intel shares at $23.28 each for $5 billion. Nvidia's June 30, 2026 13F valued the same share count at $29.989 billion. That is a large unrealized gain; it does not establish that the commercial partnership has already succeeded. Subtracting the original cost leaves an unrealized gain of about $24.989 billion at quarter-end, an amount that will move with Intel's share price.

BUCHAREST, Romania (AP) — Thousands of young Orthodox Christians gathered in Romania's capital for a candlelit procession that illuminated a trail from the giant National Cathedral to Patriarchate Hill, a historic site considered sacred to Romanian Orthodoxy.
The Procession of Lights was part of a four-day program for the eighth edition of the International Meeting of Orthodox Youth in Bucharest. The annual gathering brings together 2,400 people aged 16 to 35, many from Romania and its diaspora and other Orthodox churches.
Pilgrims from dozens of countries carried candles and flags through Bucharest's streets as they made their way to Patriarchate Hill, home to the headquarters of the Romanian Patriarchate, and the Patriarchal Residence and Cathedral.

Diageo is to cut 305 jobs at its North American headquarters in New York as the drinks group pushes ahead with CEO Sir Dave Lewis' turnaround plans.
The location and number of job cuts were confirmed by a WARN notice by the company, with the permanent layoffs effective from 30 September and the reason cited as "economic".
In a statement, a Diageo spokesperson said: "As we shared at the start of August, we have been redesigning our operating framework to deliver a more competitive Diageo. We understand that this is a difficult time for colleagues, and we remain committed to supporting everyone through these changes."
For the year to 30 June, the Captain Morgan rum distiller booked a 3% decline in reported net sales at $19.64bn. Organically, net sales dipped 2%.
Its North America business, 37% of group sales, saw organic net sales fall by 8.4%.

A former employee has filed a class action lawsuit against Ceva Logistics, alleging the freight giant failed to protect highly sensitive personal information stolen during a recent cyberattack that impacted operations in Europe.
Hackers gained access to Ceva Logistics systems and data in late July, which disrupted operations at eight warehouses that provide store replenishment and e-commerce fulfillment for retailers in the Netherlands and other European countries, as FreightWaves reported.
