Gluckstadt is now less than two months away from welcoming its first multimillion-dollar sports venue.
The TD Select Baseball facility appears to be opening within six weeks, with the state-of-the-art $10 million baseball and soccer complex at 589 Stout Road set to be finished by late November.
Both TD Select owner Ty Dean and commercial estate developer Lee Sahler confirmed the November timeline after installing and watering the grass at the venue's outdoor baseball fields.
"The grass is down already and now we're just looking to get the lights and fence up so weather permitting we should be open within six weeks," Sahler told the Clarion Ledger.
Conceptualized as a youth development complex, TD Select Baseball will feature a 10,000-square-foot training indoor facility equipped with 10 batting cages.

A herd of rare British White Cows has arrived in a field right next to Andrew's current home, Marsh Farm. His Majesty has added the British Whites to his herd of 200 native heritage cattle, and they are happily grazing on grass yards away from the front door of Andrew's Norfolk residence.
British Whites are among the earliest recorded domestic cattle breeds in Britain and have roots dating back to Norfolk from the late 1700s.

National Republicans have spent months trying to rescue Ken Paxton. He's complicating that effort.
Tensions are brewing with some Republicans after POLITICO published Paxton's closed-door comments that "D.C." Republicans were largely controlling his race.
"He is welcome to raise his own money and say whatever he wants," said one Republican involved in the Paxton rescue effort, who like others in this article was granted anonymity to speak candidly. "In fact, if he did that, he'd probably be winning right now and we wouldn't need to spend all this money."

The claims come after a signed copy of Meghan's children's book reportedly surfaced for sale online.
Princess Eugenie "had to take a stand" against Meghan Markle with a signed book, as per the source. According to New Idea, the copy of "The Bench" was originally listed by London seller Drive Easy's Signed Books. It allegedly featured a personalized message from the **** ss of Sussex to Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank. It was reported that the book was listed for $26,423 before the advertisement disappeared.
Reportedly, Eugenie was "horrified" and didn't know how the book ended up on the site. However, the outlet was told that it might not be as accidental as it seemed. With the tension between William and Prince Harry showing little signs of easing, insiders allegedly claimed that she was keen to make her loyalties clear.
A royal insider said, "Eugenie's always tried to stay out of controversy," but with Harry and Meghan apparently "on her doorstep" demanding a "catch up," she likely couldn't stay quiet anymore.
Meanwhile, it was claimed that Eugenie has been forced to apologize to Meghan. This allegedly happened after watchers spotted the personal inscription on the listing. Dolly Parton's estate says yellow caution tape and barbed wire crisscrossed the steps to her nephew Bryan Seaver's front door as a process server was making repeated attempts to serve him with a lawsuit accusing him of using a "campaign of threats" to "extract money" from the late music icon's business interests.
Lawyers for the estate filed a photo of the alleged barricade as they urged a judge to deny Seaver's request for additional time to find a lawyer in the messy legal dispute. They also argued that Seaver's security company missed a deadline last week to challenge an emergency restraining order granted in the case, so the order should therefore be converted into a permanent injunction covering both the company and Seaver himself, as its chief. A hearing on the matter is set for Friday, Oct. 9, unless the court grants Seaver's request for more time to hire an attorney.
