With TNT FC run like a professional club, it provides the ideal environment for players to keep themselves ticking over. Park isn't the only current or former international who has trained with TNT FC over the years.
TNT FC has clearly become a kind of unofficial "training/refresher home" for established Korean pros, particularly when they're between clubs, recovering from injury, or preparing to return.
The original TNT model was essentially "give players somewhere serious to train when they don't have a club." So for someone like Ki Sung-yueng, it wasn't that he was joining TNT because he needed to find a club. He was essentially using their established training environment while he was between FC Seoul contracts.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Mets' September shakeup is not as much about contending as it is about development and preservation.
Mets interim manager Andy Green said Monday that the club would be calling up rookie outfielder Nick Morabito and right-handed pitcher Justin Hagenman when rosters across Major League Baseball expand from 26 to 28 players on Tuesday.
Those additions come after the club's roster was restructured further on Monday, with Mark Vientos reinstated from the injured list after sustaining a fractured right hand back on July 24. The Mets also saw Luis Robert Jr. claimed off waivers by the Orioles.
The Oriolies will close out $3 million on his deal for the season. They will also control the decision on his $20 million club option and potential $2 million buyout. Robert's exit opened the door for Vientos to return and an outfield ****** e to be be vacated for Morabito.

The legal feud between the SEC and LSU may soon escalate to historic levels.
High-ranking SEC university executives are exploring legal and internal avenues intended to address the school's plans to add former professional athletes to its rosters, including extreme measures such as boycotting competition against the Tigers, sanctioning the school with probation or even expulsion, and/or filing a federal legal challenge.
Multiple sources with knowledge of the conversations spoke to Yahoo Sports under condition of anonymity. An SEC spokesperson declined comment. An LSU spokesperson also declined comment.
The conversations, primarily among SEC school general counsels and university presidents, are considered in the early stages. The talks are described as "not league driven, but membership led." While these discussions are serious in nature, it is unclear as to what avenues the conference or its members will ultimately pursue.
It is unlikely that the league or its member schools make a formal decision on a path forward before a Thursday hearing in Baton Rouge, where a judge is expected to hear arguments in the Louisiana eligibility case that opened the door for these professional athletes to return to college.

Stuart Broad has questioned Imam-ul-Haq's decision to practise on the sidelines while carrying a calf injury during Pakistan's second Test against England at Lord's, accusing the batter of "putting on an act".

Imam was ruled out of the remainder of the Test after suffering a low-grade strain to his left calf while fielding on the opening day. The injury came after he had dropped two catches, and Pakistan were subsequently left a batter short for the rest of the match.

The Pakistan opener did not bat in the second innings either, as his side collapsed to another heavy defeat and went 2-0 down in the three-Test series.
Ahead of play on Day 4, Imam was seen on the Lord's sidelines knocking a ball around while wearing tape around his injured calf. He appeared to be hobbling as he went through some batting practice.

There were suggestions from the Pakistan camp that Imam could potentially bat if his team needed him during the second innings. However, Broad was unimpressed by what he saw.

Speaking on Sky Sports, the former England fast bowler suggested Imam's public warm-up was designed to make a point rather than prepare him to bat.

"That's all for show. He has got a bit of stick from media and maybe his teammates. Whatever. You can do that inside the indoor school without anyone seeing, don't have to come wearing shorts and tape and hobble around like that. I am not impressed with that. Sorry," Broad said.

Broad's remarks added to questions surrounding Imam's injury, particularly after former Pakistan batter and chief selector Mohammad Wasim had previously raised concerns over the opener's injury history.
Wasim previously alleged that Imam had faked injuries to avoid playing.

Recalling an incident from 2022, Wasim said Pakistan's physiotherapist had warned him that an injury involving Imam could become an issue even before an official decision had been made.

According to Wasim, the player had previously been involved in similar situations, with coaches also raising concerns.

The comments have now resurfaced after Imam was ruled out at Lord's, although Pakistan's management maintained that he was dealing with a calf strain.
Whatever the circumstances surrounding Imam's injury, his absence was felt as Pakistan's batting once again failed to put up a fight.

Chasing an imposing 389 for victory, Pakistan slipped to 14/3 and were soon staring at another defeat. Saud Shakeel provided some resistance, putting together a 97-run fourth-wicket partnership with Shan Masood before taking on the England attack alongside the tail.

Sunderland have yet to conclude a deal to sign Igor Paixao (26) from Olympique de Marseille, and according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri, they now face competition for the Brazilian's signature.
Paixao joined OM from Feyenoord last season for a €30m fee and, just 12 months later, the Brazilian could leave. Notre Dame football has a fantastic 2027 recruiting class, with four 5-star commits in the 247Sports composite, but it could have been more and might still have a chance at adding another.
At one time it seemed like Florida linebacker Kaden Henderson would commit to the Irish, but ended up picking Texas A&M instead. It's the one position that Notre Dame has struggled with in the cycle, but it looks like there's potential to change Henderson's mind.
According to a report by 247Sports Cade Draughon (subscription required), Henderson told him "Miami and Notre Dame are the only schools that'll be talking to me still. But yeah, my recruitment is pretty set, pretty much shut down." While it's not a wide open door, it does seem like the elite linebacker hasn't completely ruled out a flip.
He's clearly still talking to the Irish and Hurricanes, which tend you to think there's at least a slight chance for him to flip. Notre Dame should continue to recruit Henderson, even if he does shut down, he's that good at a need position in the class.

Ever since the great Claude Rains first uttered the immortal line "Round up the usual suspects!" in Casablanca, the phrase has been ingrained in the popular lexicon — so much so that it inspired the ****** le of an entirely different movie nearly 50 years later. You hear it everywhere, in any context where you can expect to see a predictable set of participants.
On Saturday, a struggling Juventus were buoyed by a pair of very unusual suspects — guys most fans figured would be gone, or at least on their way out the door, by this point in the transfer window. Unable to penetrate a deep-lying Parma defense, it was Nico González who gave a moribund attack an instant shot in the arm, forcing a magical save before scoring a deflected goal off his own rebound to open the scoring. Then, with two minutes left, the game was sealed by another unlikely goalscorer: Teun Koopmeiners, who had just come on after an injury to Andrea Cambiaso and finished off a quick attack with a beautiful finish.
The unlikely redemption arcs from players most ****** umed were out of the team's plans, or at least on the very fringes, were welcome developments for a team that learned this week that their talisman, Kenan Yildiz, would miss two to three months once he undergoes surgery on a broken metatarsal. After a first half that seemed to be crying out for his creativity, it was the transfer-listed González who gave the Bianconeri the necessary spark to take Parma down 2-0 as they began to look forward to next week's big match against AC Milan.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport says the lead Tagovailoa held is gone. Both players will now split first-team reps to settle the starting job. The competition is wide open and the pressure is on for both men.
Tagovailoa started with a huge advantage. He looked great during the offseason while Penix was stuck on the sideline. The organization wanted him to win the job and move forward as the starter. That plan relied on Penix staying injured for a while. But the knee injury healed faster than expected.
Penix needed surgery in the week of November 24, 2025, to address a partially torn ACL in his left knee. Before that hurt knee, he threw for 1,982 yards. He completed 60.1 per cent of his passes. Nine total touchdowns and three interceptions were recorded by him during the 2025 season. Now he is back and ready to fight.
Tagovailoa has not looked as sharp in the preseason. Both in practice and in games, Rapoport noted that he had been inconsistent. The gap that seemed so wide has shrunk to nothing. Rapoport explained that Tagovailoa 'had a big-time lead in this race'. That lead is under serious pressure now.
Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed the split reps. This move proves the door is open for Penix. Rapoport stated that while he seems to have been practicing better the last couple of days, the door is open for Michael Penix. That quote from Rapoport sums up the whole situation perfectly.

Austin Hill shed light on his personal interaction with Kevin Harvick after Kyle Busch's tragic loss. The Richard Childress Racing driver shared that Harvick wanted him to remain stoic in front of his team.
Hill was called up to fill in for Busch after the latter's untimely death on May 21. The 32-year-old has been driving the No. 33 car in Busch's stead ever since.
In a recent media interview with NASCAR reporter Steven Taranto, Hill outlined Harvick's words of wisdom.
"The biggest takeaway that I got from Kevin was just to be mentally tough and not to show your emotion in front of everyone. If you're gonna have a breakdown moment or anything like that happen, do that behind closed doors," he said.
"You need to be the tough guy when it comes to driving the race car and being in the shop and being prepared," Hill added, "and showing those guys that you mean business and that you're here for them and you're here to be that shoulder to lean on."

Above a Methodist church at the end of a row of terraced housing, north of Rochdale town centre, Craig Kirby's phone is buzzing as he opens the door to his gym. The 50-year-old's latest TikTok video has just crept over 85,000 views.
It shows a personal highlights reel from one of his amateur football matches, filmed from the touchline by wife Lindsay, with a caption explaining how Kirby finds **** e and time on the bobbly park pitch. "Fitness and movement off the ball are 90% of the game," the text adds.
Kirby smiles at the video going viral. It has racked up more than 340,000 views by the time of writing, but it is nothing new.
The one pinned to the top of his profile has been seen 2.9 million times. It's a compilation of him playing for Whitworth Valley against Old Rivingtonians on a drizzly January afternoon, a backdrop of rolling Lancashire hills and a kids' playground, a simple **** le of: "Well beaten today. Not bad for 50 though."
That is one of his earliest videos from the beginning of last season - since then he has continued to post regularly across TikTok and Instagram, where the midfielder's 'Football at 50' profile has about 30,000 followers on each.
