Former India captain Rohit Sharma paid tribute to T Dilip after the former India fielding coach was replaced by Subhadeep Ghosh, thanking him for his work with the team over the last five years.

Borussia Dortmund have officially completed the signing of Greek international Konstantinos Karetsas from Belgian side KRC Genk. Karetsas gets set to begin the Bundesliga chapter of his career after signing a five-year contract with the Bundesliga runners-up through June 30, 2031. Kicker reports that Dortmund are paying a guaranteed transfer fee of €30m, with realistically attainable bonuses capable of increasing the package to €32m.
Genk have also reportedly secured a ten-percent share of any future transfer profit. Sport Bild places Karetsas' base salary at approximately €3.5m per year, with further performance-related bonuses built into his contract. The agreement concludes a prolonged transfer saga. Dortmund initially increased their offer to more than €30m after Genk rejected an earlier proposal.
The clubs subsequently failed to bridge the remaining financial gap, despite Karetsas having already agreed personal terms through 2031. Genk initially sought a guaranteed €35m and an overall package potentially reaching €40m.
Sporting director Nils Ole Book publicly addressed Dortmund's unsuccessful initial pursuit of Karetsas before electing to skip the club's tour of ****** an to continue working on the club's outstanding transfer business.

Watching him in action with the rest of the team is going to be incredible and help justify the lofty beliefs that we have in him.
If you ask someone to mix it up though you will probably hear about Jaishawn Barham. The Cowboys have a need at linebacker and he may fit the mold that new defensive coordinator Christian Parker is lookig for there, so excitement is also warranted with him.
We often talk about how difficult it is to fly under the radar as a member of the Cowboys, but first-rounder Malachi Lawrence may be doing that thanks to what's going on around him. How he fares is going to be an essential part of the team's overall defensive story this season.

Hull City are in active discussions over a move for Toni Fruk, with the newly promoted Premier League club exploring the conditions of a possible deal for the Rijeka attacking midfielder. As first reported by TeamTalk, the Tigers remain firmly in the picture, though the situation appears more open and competitive than some early noise suggested.
Fruk, 25, has emerged as a serious target as Hull look to strengthen their creative options ahead of a demanding return to the top flight. The Croatia star has built a strong reputation with Rijeka for his vision, invention and attacking output, and he fits the profile of player Hull are seeking as they prepare for the Premier League.
There is clear interest, but sources close to the situation are urging caution. As one Rijeka insider put it, "A deal is not as close as people are making out," which underlines the reality that talks remain at an early stage. Hull are not alone either. Serious interest has also been registered by "two other Premier League clubs, alongside Dutch giants Ajax", with all four teams making contact in recent days.

That level of competition matters. It pushes up the difficulty of any negotiations and increases the need for Hull to move decisively if they want to land their man. Rijeka are expected to stand firm on valuation, with the Croatian club seeking a fee in the region of £8-10 million for one of their most important players, despite Fruk entering the final year of his contract.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Rams have unveiled two alternate uniforms designed to connect the current team to its rich California history.
At an event for season-ticket holders next to SoFi Stadium on Thursday night, the Rams revealed a new uniform that pays tribute to their 1951 NFL championship team with a yellow jersey and blue satin numerals in the style used 75 years ago. The Rams then introduced a white alternate uniform with blue numerals emulating the Rams' primary look during the 1960s, an era best known for the team's Fearsome Foursome defensive front.
The uniform with yellow jerseys and white pants is dubbed "Classic Sol," while the all-white alternates with blue numerals are called "Fearsome White." The Rams will still wear the three uniforms they used last season as well, including their main home and away looks along with their all-black "Midnight Mode" Rivalries uniform.
The Rams will debut their Classic Sol look on Monday night at home in Week 2 against the New York Giants, and they'll come out again for a high-profile Thursday night home showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in December. The Fearsome White uniforms will come out on Thanksgiving Eve for a home game against the Green Bay Packers.
While designing these long-anticipated alternates over the past several years, the Rams' creative team focused on creating throwbacks with modern twists that will remind and educate the 21st-century fan about the franchise's roots.
