While many fans around the world would pay large sums to be graced by Jennifer Hudson's vocals on a daily basis, the same can't be said for her teenage son, David Otunga Jr.
During a recent appearance on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, Jennifer revealed that she likes to wake her son up in the morning by singing to him. The topic arose after Jenna Bush Hager asked the star if she ever breaks into song casually around the house.
"That's how I wake them up. I saw David, duh duh duh, it's time to get up. You missed your bus," Jennifer sang. "He'll be like, 'Mama I'm up.'"'

The doting mom shares her 16-year-old with her ex-fiancé David Otunga. It seems David has inherited his mom's impressive vocals as he is also a talented singer, and his mom previously revealed that he is following in her performing footsteps. Talking to Today, she described the joy of "seeing how creative he already is," and added: "That made me more confident... He has a good ear, and he's a little performer."
