As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prepare to move back to the UK with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after spending six years living in the US, the question of where the young royals will attend school has naturally arisen.
Both Archie and Lilibet are already enrolled in school in Britain, with their term commencing in September. The Sussexes plan to be settled into their new home in the UK by the end of August.

While the couple have kept the name of Archie and Lilibet's school private due to security concerns, the location of the institution is near their new non-royal residence in Britain. Seven-year-old Archie is enrolled in Year Three, while his five-year-old sister is enrolled in Year One.
It is widely expected that the duo will attend a co-educational day school rather than a boarding school, similar to Lambrook School, where their cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are in attendance.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal exit reportedly cost the monarchy more than family peace. The ****** ss of Sussex and the Duke originally wanted a part-time working role. However, that option was rejected after their 2020 split from senior duties. A former BBC royal correspondent has now argued the royal family lost two people who could have helped the Crown. She said they "should have been allowed" that middle path.
As per an iNews report, Jennie Bond addressed Prince Harry's possible UK return. She wrote that Harry wanted "more frequent trips" and "less drama." Bond also said next year could become a flashpoint. It marks the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana's death. She noted several events were expected through The Diana Award. The question, she wrote, was whether William and Harry would stand together.
Meanwhile, Bond said Harry may now be nearing his original goal. She pointed to charity events, Ukraine visits, and future Invictus Games plans. The former royal correspondent wrote he might have found "a way of doing traditional royal engagements." She added that this happened even though he was not part of "the firm." Bond then said it was something Prince Harry and Meghan Markle "should have been allowed" from the start.
However, Bond said Queen Elizabeth II had been "implacable" about the Sussexes' half-in, half-out plan. She argued the royal family then lost a major ****** et. Bond wrote that the monarchy lost "two people" who could have built links with "Britain's diverse communities." She also added, "William lost his brother." The Royal Observer reported that Harry and Meghan had since managed similar public-facing work. It cited his recent UK family trip and Invictus Games countdown event. For Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and the royal family, Bond framed the rejected deal as both a public loss and a private rupture.

LONDON, Aug 19 (Reuters) - British artificial intelligence company Quantexa is considering a multibillion-dollar stock market listing in Britain or the United States, its chief executive told Reuters.
"We can list in the UK or the U.S., or both," Vishal Marria said, adding that the company has not decided when to pursue a public offering and could remain privately held.
A U.S. listing would deal a further blow to London's stock market, which has seen a string of companies opt for U.S. exchanges. Marria said the U.S. offers a deeper pool of capital and the potential for a higher valuation than the UK.
Marria said Quantexa has been "IPO-ready" since January but declined to comment on the timing of any IPO.

The Eagles Communications department released an updated depth chart ahead of two days of joint practices and Saturday night's preseason game against the New England Patriots. DeVonta Smith, first-round pick Makai Lemon and Dontayvion Wicks are listed as the three starting wide receivers. Hollywood Brown is behind Smith, while Darius Cooper sits directly behind Wicks following a productive first two weeks of training camp.
The backup quarterback competition remains unsettled. Andy Dalton and Tanner McKee remain listed as co-backups behind Jalen Hurts, with rookie Cole Payton listed fourth. Joint practices and the second preseason game will give Dalton and McKee additional opportunities to create separation.
Defensively, Philadelphia lists a five-man front featuring Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt on the edges with Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo inside. Cooper DeJean is again listed as the starter at nickel cornerback and safety, reinforcing the flexibility that allows the Eagles to alter the packages based on personnel.
Riq Woolen and Quinyon Mitchell are the starting outside cornerbacks, while Andrew Mukuba occupies the other safety position. Britain Covey remains the top punt returner, and Will Shipley leads the kickoff-return group.

Riders are risking their lives in races where organisers battle huge costs, and cycling's world governing body the UCI "cannot keep traffic off the roads", according to former rider and team boss Jonathan Vaughters.
Britain's Fin Tarling, 19, died during the Volta a Portugal on Friday following a high-speed collision with a van which had strayed on to the closed road.
A Go Fund Me page to promote young cycling talent has been set up in memory of Tarling, who rode for the NSN Cycling Development Team and was brother to Netcompany-Ineos' Josh Tarling.
Vaughters, who is co-founder and boss of the EF Education-Easypost World Tour team told BBC Sport: "What I'm really not enjoying is this sentiment that's coming from very powerful people in cycling, that says: 'What can you do? Sometimes cars just end up on the road - this is just part of doing competitive sport on the open road.' That is not true. This is preventable."
He added: "People look at the Tour de France and see a bunch of riders going through the beautiful French countryside, but fundamentally it's a very dangerous sport. From the start of my career I can't tell you how many people we've lost."

Former Great Britain international Marius Dobel-Ober has been named as the new head coach at Truro Fencing Club.
The club, which has produced four Olympians, has recently been taken over by a firm spearheaded by former Truro head coach and Team GB Olympic coach Jon Salfield.
Dobel-Ober will be based at Truro School's Cornwall Fencing Centre.
The last British Olympian to come from the club was James Honeybone in 2012 while Brazil's Marta Baeza trained at the club ahead of her home Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro four years later.
Dobel-Ober says he has a twin mission of getting more people into the sport and coaching those who could one day compete at the highest level:

Great Britain and Ireland now have its 10.
Still buzzing from his U.S. Amateur victory on Sunday at Merion, England's Jack Whaley was among the players named to the GB&I Walker Cup team by the R&A on Tuesday morning.
"I think I proved that I'm good in match play," Whaley said.
Whaley, whom captain Dean Robertson admitted was not in line to be selected for his debut until he lifted the Havemeyer Trophy to earn an automatic bid, joins six returners from last year's 17-9 defeat to the U.S. at Cypress Point: Englishmen Tyler Weaver, Luke Poulter and Eliot Baker, Scotland's Niall Shiels Donegan and Connor Graham, and British Amateur champion Stuart Grehan of Ireland; all six had previously secured their spots via the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
"He performed so well under the umbrella at Merion with his double gloves on, showcasing that he can not only perform brilliantly in the U.S., but he can perform in adverse weather, too," Robertson said of the 22-year-old Whaley, a rising senior at Florida State and one of seven U.S. college products representing GB&I. "Before last week, I wouldn't have seen Jack in the team, but after watching him, the talent that he's got and the humility that he's got and the way that he spoke, I'm really excited to welcome him."

According to a royal correspondent, Prince William may soon be unable to ignore Prince Harry's return to Britain. The claim arrives as relations between the brothers remain strained after the Sussexes' criticism of the royal family.
The Prince of Wales has reportedly maintained complete silence and has refused to speak to his younger brother since the release of Harry's explosive memoir, "Spare," back in 2023.
Prince William could find it harder to ignore Prince Harry's appeals for reconciliation. The royal heir has remained silent for years as Harry reached out to his family, but he may now need to address his younger brother's olive branch.
According to royal correspondent Jennie Bond speaking to the Mirror, "William, as far as we can see, seems set on concentrating on his own family and his work without the angst of dealing with his rift with Harry. But, if Harry does start to come to the UK more often and to see their father, it's going to become increasingly hard for William to ignore the situation."
Bond also explored if Princess Catherine could step in as a peacemaker. Perhaps, but only if she felt it aligned with Prince William's wishes. Still, feelings and circumstances can shift over time, so as she put it, "never say never."

Amy Hunt became the first athlete to win four gold medals at a single European Championships after Great Britain triumphed in the mixed 4x100m relay at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.
The British quartet of Jeremiah Azu, Dina Asher-Smith, Zharnel Hughes and Hunt, running in lane four, crossed the finish in a European record 39.97 seconds to beat silver medallists Germany, who finished in 40.11s, and third placed Spain.
Asher-Smith also moved to the outright top of the European Athletics Championships all-time list – for both men and women – with her 11th medal, surpassing Polish sprinter Irena Szewinska's 10 with her third this week.
That already took her to seven European golds, two more than Szewinska, but she is now the lone athlete at 11 with eight.

The Olympic flag football field for the 2028 Games in Los Angeles is taking shape.
On Sunday, Canada's men and Mexico's women won bronze-medal games at the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) championships in Düsseldorf, Germany, securing the final two Olympic qualifying spots available from the tournament. Canada's men beat Mexico, 34-26, and Mexico's women beat Great Britain, 20-19.
Italy's men and Canada's women previously qualified by advancing to Saturday's gold-medal games. Canada's women beat USA, 27-20 for the gold medal, while the U.S. men beat Italy, 46-26.
The top-two non-USA finishers from the men's and women's 16-team fields earned spots in the Olympic field. The U.S. men and women had already secured Olympic spots via automatic bids awarded to the host country.
That meant significant stakes and additional drama for Sunday's bronze-medal games, with the winner of each securing an Olympic bid and the loser having to wait until 2028 for another shot at qualifying. Both games were thrillers.

Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) cleared a notable regulatory hurdle on August 10, when Britain's drug regulator authorized the company's oral GLP-1 drug orforglipron, becoming the first country in Europe to approve the pill. Shares of LLY increased more than 2% in response to the announcement, a modest but insightful reaction for a company whose weight-loss franchise has become the single most important driver of its market value.
The UK's Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency approved orforglipron, offered under the brand name Foundayo, for weight loss and maintenance in obese adults, as well as select overweight individuals with at least one weight-related health condition. The approval also addresses increasing blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes.
What sets Foundayo apart from Lilly's other weight-loss medications, as well as the majority of the GLP-1 category in general, is the format. Unlike injectable drugs like Lilly's Zepbound or Novo Nordisk A/S (NYSE:NVO)'s Ozempic, Foundayo is a small, non-peptide GLP-1 receptor agonist that is taken as a single daily tablet. It can also be taken at any time with no food or water restrictions, making it a far more convenient regimen than some oral peptide alternatives that require fasting windows around dosing.
The clinical data that supports the approval is strong. In the ATTAIN-1 trial, which tracked 3,127 individuals with obesity for 72 weeks, participants on the 36 mg dose lost an average of 11.2% of their body weight, as opposed to 2.1% on placebo, and more than half of those on that dose lost at least 10%.
The authorization is crucial, but it is not the final step. Foundayo is not currently available through the NHS in the UK, and the drug's journey to that larger market is through the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, which is completing its own cost-effectiveness study, with a decision expected on November 18. Until NICE decides, UK patients seeking the medicine will have to pay out of pocket or get it privately, a scenario that is already playing out with competing products in the category.

Barcelona have returned to Manchester City with a third offer for Rodri after their first two proposals were rejected, according to Sportingpedia. The earlier bids were worth €50 million and €60 million respectively, while the latest proposal is reported to be around €70 million as City continue to seek €80 million.
Barcelona have increased their offer after the initial approaches failed to meet Manchester City's valuation. The gap between Barcelona's previous €60 million bid and City's reported €80 million asking price has remained the central issue in the negotiations.
The figure now under discussion is approximately halfway between those positions, putting the latest proposal at around €70 million. It remains unclear whether the amount includes performance-related bonuses.
Separately, Get Spanish Football News reported that transfer insider Ben Jacobs described the package under discussion as worth more than £60 million, or more than €70 million, and said Barcelona were optimistic about completing a deal.
Barcelona remain confident that an agreement can be reached soon, according to Sportingpedia. Rodri returned to Great Britain from Madrid after his holiday and is scheduled to resume training with Manchester City, although that may not happen if the clubs finalise a move quickly.

The Great Britain women's team have missed out on their first chance to qualify for flag football's Olympic debut but will have another opportunity on Sunday.
The non-contact version of American football will make its Olympic bow at Los Angeles 2028 and two spots are available for both men and women at this weekend's World Championships in Germany.
After reaching the quarter-finals as group winners, GB faced Panama on Saturday and came from behind to win 26-20 and set up a semi-final clash with the USA.
Victory would have secured a spot at LA28 and GB led 21-7 in the first half after touchdowns by Grace Conway, Angelica Tait and Emily Kemp.
But the defending champions fought back to win 27-21, while Canada beat Mexico 20-6 to reach their first final since 2014.
