Saoirse Ronan has insisted the James Bond rumours don't come up home with her husband Jack Lowden.
During an interview with The ****** ociated Press, the Oscar-nominated actress was asked what it was like to live with the Slow Horses actor, given that everyone thinks he'll be the next 007.
The Irish actress insisted the subject doesn't come up much in their day-to-day life as they have other matters to deal with.
"I mean, we're kind of getting on with our life to be honest, we have plenty of other things to be dealing with, so yeah, it's not really a subject that's coming up in our house to be honest," she shared. "The dog needs to be walked, the dinner needs to be made, we're more focused on that."
She added, "Jack's on Slow Horses right now, and he's having a good time on that."
Ronan also quipped that Lowden's co-star Gary Oldman "thinks he's James Bond", after Oldman said in an interview that the next Bond had been picked and his "fingers are crossed" for the Scottish actor. Many people believed the Oscar winner had let slip that Lowden had secured the coveted role.

Saoirse Ronan brought subdued elegance and modern minimalism to the 2026 Venice Film Festival on Thursday in a custom Louis Vuitton gown.
The Oscar-nominated actress wore a navy, long-sleeve dress with a rounded neckline. The gown's restraint made its few design twists more **** ounced: an exposed zipper curved along one side of the bodice, while a thigh-high slit opened the skirt.

SEYMOUR - An inadvertent whistle by a game official with under two minutes played in the game sealed an incredibly unusual 6-0 victory for the Ansonia football team over Seymour Thursday night at DeBarber Field.
With Ansonia clinging to its marginal lead, Chargers running back Jacob Branch took a handoff, got stood up from a Seymour defender and then continued to churn away, getting stripped of the ball in the process.
The Seymour players began celebrating as Ronan Carboni scooped up the loose ball at the Ansonia 19-yard line. Then a little bit of confusion and chaos ensued.
The game officials huddled on the field and after significant discussion determined that the whistle had been blown when Branch was first stood up, because the official near the Ansonia sideline felt his forward progress had been halted.
The Chargers maintained possession of the ball, and ultimately ran out the clock to seal the victory.

Sean "Diddy" Combs landed a major win in his defamation case against attorney Ariel Mitchell and her client Courtney Burgess, who claimed to have videos showing the music mogul **** ually **** aulting minors and celebrities at his "freak off" **** parties.
New York federal judge John P. Cronan denied Mitchell's motion to dismiss the lawsuit in a Sept. 4 ruling obtained by USA TODAY, giving Combs the green light to move forward with his $100 million legal action.
Combs first sued Burgess, Mitchell and Nexstar Media for $50 million in January 2025 but amended his complaint seven months later seeking an additional $50 million in damages. In the filing, he accused the lawyer of damaging his reputation by vouching for Burgess' allegations and making allegedly false statements of her own, "including that a police report corroborated an accusation of rape against Combs and that Combs had used drug-laced baby oil to incapacitate his victims."

Trigger Warning: ***** ual ***** ault
Diddy secured a significant legal victory in his defamation case against lawyer Ariel Mitchell and her client Courtney Burgess. Burgess made explosive claims about the music mogul, alleging that he had videos showing Diddy ***** ually ***** aulting minors and celebrities.
Mitchell asked the court to dismiss Diddy's lawsuit, but US District Judge John Cronan has declined to do so. The court ruled that her arguments were not strong enough to warrant ending the case. In a September 4 order, the judge stated that claims alleging Diddy ***** ually ***** aulted people and secretly recorded ***** ual partners have "precise meanings that are readily understood," reports TMZ.
Diddy filed the defamation lawsuit on January 22, 2025. The case was brought in a New York federal court and initially sought $50 million in damages. Later, the amount was increased to $100 million. The lawsuit also named NewsNation's parent company, Nexstar Media. Diddy accused them of promoting "outlandish claims" and "baseless speculation." He claimed the statements were designed to satisfy the public's desire for "wild lies."
Mitchell previously spoke to the outlet about the matter, saying, "This is just a pathetic ploy to silence victims and people who stand up for victims. Diddy has time to sue but refuses to accept service for the lawsuits already filed against him. I look forward to countersuing and ensuring the court punishes not only Diddy but also his lawyers who filed this pathetic lawsuit for this frivolous and meritless filing."
Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence after facing charges of ***** trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution. A court hearing to determine the next steps in the case is scheduled for September 17.

Saoirse Ronan made her first return to the red carpet since giving birth to her first child, attending the Orizzonti Corti Fuori Concorso E Concorso screening during the Venice Film Festival at Sala Giardino this evening.

It was an understated return, with the Irish actress wearing a navy-blue Louis Vuitton dress that kept the focus on its clean silhouette. The silver zip running along the side was the only real point of detail.
Considering this was her first red carpet appearance in some time, I wasn't expecting Saoirse to make a dramatic comeback. This felt more in keeping with her style: simple, unfussy and confident enough to let the cut do the work. I also like that the zip gives the dress some edge.
Even the jewellery followed the same approach. Saoirse wore a Les Honneurs earring and Tumbler ear cuff in white gold and diamonds from Louis Vuitton's High Jewelry collection, which added just enough sparkle without changing the mood of the look.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Badgers red and Notre Dame green filled the streets around Lambeau Field on Sunday as two college football fan bases came together for a game years in the making.
There was no shortage of friendly competition before kickoff.
"Notre Dame is going to win, no question," Johnny Ronano said.
"Madison by a million," Andrew Thomas said.
Score predictions varied, and so did how far fans traveled to see the Badgers and Fighting Irish take the field. But both sides agreed on one thing: Playing at Lambeau Field made the matchup special.

Brian Barry-Murphy says Cardiff City must look after their fit defenders when they host Norwich City in the EFL Cup second round on Tuesday (19:00 GMT).
The Bluebirds are in the midst of an early-season injury crisis at the back, with Dylan Lawlor, Calum Chambers, Will Fish and Gabriel Osho on the sidelines.
The absence of the four senior central defenders meant Barry-Murphy was forced to play right-back Perry Ng and left-back Joel Bagan in central defence at Derby County last Saturday, with Ronan Kpakio and Calum Scanlon the starting full-backs.
Cardiff's only defensive option on the bench at Pride Park was 15-year-old Noah Anyadike, who could come into contention for a debut against Norwich.
Barry-Murphy may then look to Cardiff's under-21 squad for further back-up players as he attempts to protect his frontline options before next weekend's Championship meeting with Sheffield United.

Argentina rugby fly half Tomas Albornoz has been banned for four matches after angrily confronting referee Angus Gardner following his side's defeat to England rugby.
The Pumas were contentiously denied a potentially match-tying try in the final minute of the clash in Santiago del Estero, with Bautista Delguy's score ruled out by referee Gardner in consultation with television match official Brett Cronan.
Albornoz had to be restrained by teammates after twice rushing over to Australian official Gardner in the aftermath.
The 28-year-old accepted his conduct, taken as a whole, was intimidatory but did not accept that his actions were abusive, insulting, offensive or threatening – a distinction which was accepted by both World Rugby and the disciplinary committee.
He has therefore been banned for four matches, including this weekend's encounter between Argentina and South Africa in Buenos Aires.

Argentina fly half Tomas Albornoz has been charged with misconduct and faces a disciplinary hearing after "remonstrating with match officials" follow his side's defeat to England in Santiago del Estero.
Albornoz was denied a chance to kick for a potential draw after a last-minute try was ruled out by referee Angus Gardner in consultation with television match official (TMO) Brett Cronan.
The officials ruled that Bautista Delguy had grounded the ball simultaneously on the try-line and corner flag, and thus not scored, as England held on for a 31-24 victory.
Albornoz appeared to approach Gardner and his ******* istants aggressively thereafter, and has now been charged by World Rugby under its Match Official Abuse Sanction Process,
The details of his disciplinary hearing will be released in due course.

Seccl, the embedded investment platform owned by Octopus, has created an Irish subsidiary as it seeks to expand into the European market.
Ronan Gahan will lead the new Irish unit, Seccl Ireland DAC, as the chief executive.
The step follows demand from existing clients seeking to offer investment services outside the UK, noted the company.
Seccl's systems currently serve around one million investors in the UK.
The new Irish operation is intended to help extend that model into European markets, with local market knowledge and regulatory capability in place.
