Lionel Messi's bodyguard just picked up a new trick from ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion Kade Ruotolo, and he wasted no time putting it to good use.
The meeting happened by chance in Los Angeles, California, where a mutual sponsor event put Kade and his twin brother, reigning ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion Tye Ruotolo, in the same room as Yassine Cheuko, the French-Tunisian security professional who rarely leaves the soccer player's side.
Kade was the one on camera, but Tye was right there for the whole thing.
In the clip, the 23-year-old Tenore athlete breaks down a standing Mir Lock for Cheuko, and the video ends with the bodyguard applying the very same hold on him and forcing a tap.
Ultimately, the welterweight submission grappling king and his twin brother walked away with a positive experience.

Bruised and battered, the Carolina Hurricanes met their first loss in seven games against the Calgary Flames – missing key pieces of their lineup in the second half of their back-to-back weekend set. The Flames took the game with a 3-2 win, ironically mirroring the same score the Hurricanes had in their win against the Winnipeg Jets just the day before.
Entering Sunday night's contest, Carolina was not just missing Jordan Staal and Taylor Hall, but it was also Mark Jankowski – who had centered Staal's third line – due to a lower-body injury. Following the game, head coach Rod Brind'Amour further discussed that Jankowski had been shipped back to Raleigh to have his injury checked out.
The game honestly played out very similarly to the one against the Jets Saturday, with the first period ending in a 0-0 tie, and the second period ending in a 2-2 tie, with the third period having the singular goal – the game-winner.
In the second frame, Jesperi Kotkaniemi scored first on a slick wrist shot with help from Nicolas Deslauriers and Eric Robinson in a shift that their line was determined to find twine on.

Priscilla Presley is giving fans a rare glimpse at her twin granddaughters, and the Presley family resemblance is hard to miss.
Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood, Lisa Marie Presley, and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood before her passing in 2022 (@ Eric Charbonneau)
The former wife of Elvis Presley celebrated Harper and Finley Lockwood's 18th birthday on Wednesday, October 7, sharing a new photo of the sisters standing together by the ocean.
Both wore black, with Harper sporting brunette hair and Finley wearing her long hair in a platinum-blonde shade. "Happy birthday Harper & Finley," Priscilla wrote over the photo.
The simple birthday tribute marked a rare public glimpse at Lisa Marie Presley's youngest daughters, who have largely stayed out of the spotlight over the years.

About one in every 42 babies born worldwide is a twin, meaning Hollywood has its fair share of siblings with the same birthday.
Not every set of twins has the same desire for the spotlight. Sometimes, only one twin achieves celebrity status.
Rami Malek's twin, Sami, is a teacher, while Parker Posey's twin, Chris, is a lawyer.
Twins have a lot in common—but being famous is where some differ.
Yes, there are a host of celebrity twins who share the spotlight, from the Olsens to the Sprouses. Having a look-alike sibling may even have helped them stand out early in their careers. Yet for every duo like Sister, Sister stars Tia and Tamera Mowry, there's another pair of twins where only one of them is well known.

Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton enjoyed a rare sisters' night out at the Elie Saab show during Paris Fashion Week on October 3.
Paris turned heads in a sheer black lace evening gown and high-waisted underwear. Joining her on the red carpet, Nicky stunned in a sequin floral blazer and a gold skirt with beaded, fringe detailing.
The Hilton sisters' PFW moment comes less than a week after they matched in liquid silver ensembles dripping in glitter at the 2026 VMAs on September 27.
As kids, Paris Hilton, 45, and Nicky Hilton Rothschild, 42, were practically twins when it came to their wardrobes. Kembrey was inspired to undertake a number of exhilarating challenges in order to honour their memory and support other families facing similar circumstances.

Elon Musk and his on-and-off girlfriend have broken up.
In a post shared on X on Friday, October 2, Shivon Zilis, who shares four children with the Tesla cofounder, 55, revealed that Musk had let her "go" with "no warning" just a week after seemingly being "in love."
"I feel happy that I got to show Elon how it feels to be deeply understood, nurtured, and peacefully loved with stability and gentleness. Given the tumultuous nature of his early life, his often tortured soul, and how hard he fights for humanity, I wanted him to feel the deepest and most stable form of love this world can provide. My heart is full knowing I got to do that, and I hope it leaves a lasting good effect," Zilis, 40, wrote.
Calling her and their four children together, twins Strider and Azure, 4, Arcadia, 2, and Seldon, 1, his "safe ******* e," Zilis said their home life served as a place for the tech giant to unwind after tough days in the field.
"We were always his safe ******* e. A place where all of us were overjoyed to see him and one that was always full of happiness and love, not war, in contrast to his otherwise militant existence (a needed break from the battlefield where he could recharge his heart and soul before heading back out)," the director of operations and special projects at Neuralink continued. "I loved being that counterbalancing place of safety, sense of calm, and love — and delighted in bringing a smile back to his face when he was down."

Presley Gerber's death reportedly strengthened George Clooney and Amal Clooney's decision to keep their children away from public attention, according to a source close to the actor.
The couple had already established strict privacy rules for their nine-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella. A source claimed Presley's death at 27 reinforced their long-standing approach to raising them outside the spotlight.
"George and Amal are deeply saddened by the death of Presley and it serves as another reminder that they will never put a spotlight on their twins Alex and Ella," the source said.
Clooney had maintained a close friendship with Presley's father, Rande Gerber, for more than two decades. He also became close to Cindy Crawford and their children, Presley and Kaia Gerber. The family reportedly referred to him as "Uncle George."
However, George Clooney and Amal chose a different approach when raising their own children.

Former special counsel Jack Smith fielded insults from Republicans and questions about his prosecutorial decisions as he sat before lawmakers on the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.
Chair Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has been a leading voice in scrutinizing Smith’s twin probes into President Trump, obtaining and releasing reams of documents about the investigations while criticizing his decision to subpoena some lawmakers’ call logs.
Smith defended his work, saying Trump faced criminal charges related to the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case and the case tied to the president’s role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol as a result of his own illegal conduct. He added that he would have brought charges against any president who committed such crimes.
Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), meanwhile, accused the GOP of “gaslighting” the American public about how damaging the Jan. 6 attack was to democracy.
But Smith largely served as a punching bag for the committee’s Republicans.

Guardian Metal Resources PLC (NYSEAMERICAN:GMTL) reported its first Good Hope drilling results on September 14, adding exploration potential to the Pilot Mountain tungsten project in Nevada. Hole GH26-01 returned a 12.95-meter downhole interval grading 0.79% tungsten trioxide, or WO3, starting at 12.19 meters. GH26-02 intersected 13.11 meters at 0.42% WO3 from 2.13 meters.
The holes were twinned, with GH26-02 redrilling the upper portion where core had not been recovered. Good Hope and the separate Tremor discovery remain outside the resource base supporting the existing pre-feasibility study. The investment question is whether additional mineralization can improve project returns without slowing development.
Shallow mineralization offers a potential route to additional feed that could be accessible early in a future mining sequence. Good Hope sits approximately 1.1 to 1.3 kilometers from the existing resource areas, making its possible integration worth evaluating alongside the planned operation.
The June pre-feasibility study models an eight-year open-pit operation based on Desert Scheelite and Garnet. If further work establishes economic resources at Good Hope or Tremor, additional feed could extend that operating life or improve the sequence in which material reaches the processing plant.
For Guardian Metal Resources PLC (NYSEAMERICAN:GMTL), the potential benefit is better use of infrastructure already contemplated for Pilot Mountain. That would depend on recoverable metal, processing compatibility, and the additional capital required to bring the new zones into production.

Hosted by Mariska Hargitay and live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards welcomed over 20 first-time nominees, including Chase Infiniti for The Testaments, Hacks star Megan Stalter, Sarah Pidgeon for FX's Love Story, and Carey Mulligan, who is up for two Emmy nominations for her role as Lindsay Crane-Martín in Netflix's Beef.
Mulligan attended tonight's ceremony in a dress designed by everyone's favorite minimalist duo, the Olsen twins. And yet, despite The Row's restrained approach to fashion, Mulligan's resort 27 dress is anything but. It's colorful. It's playful. It's eye-catching. Coming into Monday night, the Yankees were one win away from officially clinching a playoff berth. While that's obviously not the end goal of their season, getting into the postseason is the first step. They're now there.
Officially, the clinching came prior to the Yankees' game ending, as the Blue Jays losing to the Tigers was also enough to get the job done. However on the field, the Yankees got the job done too, eventually.
On the mound, Will Warren was pretty good but deserved better. He ended up going 5.2 innings, allowing two runs — both of which ended up unearned — on five hits and two walks. Thanks to some iffy defense and the offense struggling, he left the game in line for the loss, before the offense responded just in time. Thanks to a six-run eighth inning that included Aaron Judge's first home run since returning from the injured list, the Yankees flipped the game back in their favor. They didn't need the win to pop the champagne, but it still feels better to get in with it, as they downed the Twins 8-3.
After both teams failed to capitalize on some early runners, the Yankees broke the deadlock in the third. With two outs, José Caballero just cleared the left wall at Target Field for a solo home run, putting the Yankees up early.
On the mound, Warren was mostly very solid. He ended up giving up the lead in the sixth, albeit with some defensive miscues that weren't entirely on him. After Warren got the first out of the inning, Ryan McMahon let a Kody Clemens grounder through his legs for an error. Warren then got the second out, brining Josh Bell to the plate. Bell hit a liner to a leaping George Lombard Jr., who got a glove on the ball, but couldn't complete the catch. The ball got past him into center field, moving Clemens to third. That one was ruled a single as opposed to an error, as it would've been a very nice play had Lombard completed it.
