The Missouri football uniforms will have a new look in 2026.
Mizzou athletics announced in a news release Friday that it has secured a jersey patch sponsorship deal for its football and Olympic sports teams, with the Ambetter Health logo to appear on uniforms in 2026-27 seasons.
Ambetter Health is a health insurance company owned by Centene, which is headquartered in Clayton, Missouri.
According to a photo from the Mizzou website, the patch will appear between the neckline and the shoulder on the right side of Mizzou's uniforms. It appears to be in white script for at least the Tigers' black jerseys.
The NCAA permitted schools to begin securing jersey patch sponsors in the 2026-27 athletics season.

Lane Kiffin, LSU send clear message to SEC over NFL players originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Lane Kiffin is already turning heads in his tenure at LSU, but not in a good way.
The Tigers signed former NFL tight end Dae'Quan Wright and defensive tackle Zxavian Harris. Kiffin was their former coach at Ole Miss just a season ago, but things could get a little tricky for the reunion.
In two seasons, Wright accumulated 1,000 receiving yards while playing under Kiffin at Ole Miss. Harris spent all four years with the Rebels and played in 52 games, 25 of which he started. He racked up 122 tackles, 5.5 sacks, a forced fumble, an interception, and 3 pass breakups. Not to mention, Tampa Bay Buccaneers edge Jack Pyburn will return to sU if not on an NFL roster by September 1. Kiffin is playing by his own rules now.
On Tuesday, the SEC released a statement on social media regarding the matter at hand. "Individuals who choose to leave college and sign professional playing contracts, and compete professionally should not then be permitted to return to college competition," the statement read.

OGC Nice have permitted Mohamed-Ali Cho to undergo a medical at Hull City, as per a report from Nice-Matin.
It was reported by Fabrizio Romano over the weekend that a club-to-club agreement had been reached for the transfer of the French forward. The Italian journalist understands that the deal is worth €15m, including add-ons. That deal was struck following weeks of negotiations. At one point, talks had reached a dead end, prior to a breakthrough last week.
Cho is one of several players that Nice, in desperate need of players this summer, had identified as bankable. The Frenchman was a regular for Le Gym last season and was also included in the club's Ligue 1 opener, against FC Lorient, on Sunday, albeit not as a starter.
The former SCO Angers forward has now been permitted to travel to England in order to undergo a medical. A departure is, therfore, nearing, and a welcome one as far as Nice are concerned.

The SEC has joined the Big Ten in preventing former NFL players and other professional athletes from returning to play college sports. The conference announced the new policy Tuesday evening following a meeting of the conference's presidents, chancellors and athletics directors in Birmingham, Alabama.
The new policy was passed unanimously after a 16-0 vote by SEC presidents. The rule's three provisions prohibit former pros from returning to campus. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey has been given the authority to penalize any program that breaks the new rules.
Tuesday's policy announcement from the SEC also comes less than 24 hours after the conference's presidents and chancellors released a statement voicing their opposition to former student-athletes returning to the college ranks after competing professionally.
The SEC announced its institutions are "not permitted" to have an athlete on its roster who has:
Previously declared for the NFL, NBA, or WNBA draft, and did not appropriately withdraw.

NEW YORK (AP) — Yordan Alvarez went 3 for 5 and lined a go-ahead triple in the eighth inning off Brent Headrick as the Houston Astros beat the New York Yankees 9-7 on Tuesday night.
Yainer Diaz hit a pair of solo homers, including a tying shot to the short porch in right field off Headrick's fastball to start the eighth. After Jeremy Pena singled, Alvarez ripped a low-inside sinker to the warning track in right-center for a 7-6 lead.
Alvarez increased his major league-leading batting average to .323. The slugger had his seventh career triple and first since July 21, 2024.
Pena homered off Fernando Cruz in the sixth for a 5-all tie. Daulton Varsho had two RBI singles for the Astros, who won for the sixth time in 15 games after owner Jim Crane said manager Joe Espada will finish the season.
Isaac Paredes added an RBI single off Headrick (7-3), who has allowed five homers in 68 appearances. Headrick is second in the big leagues in appearances to Toronto lefty Mason Fluharty and permitted a run for only the 12th time.

Fairfax Financial of Canada, viewed as a leading contender for the government's stake in IDBI Bank, may be permitted up to two years to bring its banking holdings in India into line with regulations, Reuters has reported.
The planned disposal of a majority holding in IDBI Bank by the federal government and state insurer Life Insurance Corp of India (LIC) has moved into the final phase after a prolonged process.
Reuters said the deal is valued at more than $5 bn and would rank as the largest foreign investment in an Indian bank.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) rules do not allow one entity to own and run two separate banks. Fairfax holds about 40% of CSB Bank, a smaller lender.
Two sources cited by Reuters said the investor could be given as long as two years to either exit that CSB position or combine CSB with IDBI Bank.

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA), the leading global electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage manufacturer closed at $362.86, up 5.14%. Investors were encouraged by Nevada's permitting of paid robotaxi service as they watched the autonomous ride-hailing rollout progress.
Trading volume reached 58.5 million shares, coming in about 39% above its three-month average of 42.1 million shares. Tesla IPO'd in 2010 and has grown 22,721% since going public.
The S&P 500 (SNPINDEX:^GSPC) closed at 7,674, up 0.43%, while the Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX:^IXIC) closed at 26,180, also up 0.43%. Among automotive and EV peers, Rivian Automotive (NASDAQ:RIVN) closed at $16.97, up 6.00%, and Ford Motor (NYSE:F) closed at $14.41, up 3.00%, with Tesla drawing extra attention thanks to robotaxi approvals.
Officials announced on Friday that the Nevada Transportation Authority has authorized three autonomous vehicle companies to offer passenger transportation using driverless cars within Clark County, which includes Las Vegas. Tesla has been permitted to operate a fleet of up to 5,000 fully autonomous vehicles in its first year, though it's unlikely the company will deploy that many.
Last week, reports said Tesla was preparing to launch its Cybercab in Austin later this month, beginning with rides for employees. Investors have been anticipating Tesla's fully autonomous ride-hailing fleet, and the stock is reacting to that progress.
In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. If you'd invested $5,000 then, you'd be sitting on $2,815,676 today.*

Our Get German Football News 2026/27 Bundesliga Tactical Previews series continues with a look at VfB Stuttgart. Oh, Stuttgart. You adorable little red-striped menace. There was a time, not particularly long ago, when the author could approach the VfB section of these previews with a reassuringly familiar collection of questions. Who left? Who needs replacing? How much of Sebastian Hoeneß' latest carefully constructed football machine has the transfer market carried away in several large sacks? Last summer, amid approximately 546,789 Nick Woltemade stories and enough aborted transfer sagas to shorten one's life expectancy, the author eventually concluded that Stuttgart possessed a talented upper-table side but were "plainly NOT ***** le contenders". They responded by finishing fourth and qualifying for the Champions League again. So much for that.
Perhaps one should simply accept what Stuttgart have become. Hoeneß took over a relegation candidate in 2023 and somehow turned the whole operation into one of German football's most reliably entertaining success stories. The Pokal arrived. European football kept arriving. Champions League qualification has now arrived twice. At some point, the cute little comeback story stopped being cute because it kept happening. Unfortunately for everyone else, the club itself remains rather adorable. It helps that Stuttgart possess Deniz Undav, German football's resident clown prince and a man apparently determined to turn every mixed-zone interview into open-mic night. Keep him forever. Always give him a microphone afterward.
In previous summers, Hoeneß' principal task was figuring out how to replace what success had taken away. This time, most of the good stuff is still sitting right there in front of him. The largest tactical problem currently confronting the coach may simply be explaining to several very good professional footballers why eleven remains the maximum number permitted on the pitch. How terribly sad for him.
The author shall now inspect Hoeneß' overflowing toy box and attempt to work out how all the pieces fit.
The pleasant novelty here is that the personnel section does not begin with an autopsy. Stuttgart have retained the spine, secured Undav, and then spent aggressively to make an already strong squad even deeper. That does not mean the summer has been simple. Nübel's departure creates a goalkeeper succession, Pejcinovic and Sauer immediately alter attacking hierarchies, Prömel places pressure on the captain, and late interest in Demirovic and El Khannouss threatens to complicate what otherwise looks like unusually tidy work. Before Hoeneß can begin solving his luxury problems on the pitch, it is worth establishing exactly how many of them the transfer market has created.

Bayern Munich supervisory board member Uli Hoeneß is facing an unusual legal dispute away from the football pitch.
Per Tz (as captured by iMiaSanMia), the Bayern Munich honorary president has reportedly been sued by a neighbor over two trees allegedly planted on his property in Bad Wiessee. The neighbor, whose property borders Hoeneß's land to the south, claims the trees were planted in an area where planting is prohibited.
Not shockingly, Hoeneß disputes that interpretation, maintaining that the area in question does not fall within the restricted zone. The case is scheduled to be heard at the Munich II Regional Court next Thursday, with the dispute ultimately coming down to whether the two trees were planted in an area where such planting is permitted.
Hoeneß has declined to comment ahead of the hearing.
It is certainly an unusual situation for one of Bayern Munich's most influential figures, who has spent decades dealing with much bigger issues surrounding the club and German football. You have to imagine that Hoeneß might have (maybe!) had a little chuckle about the dispute.

It appears the 2026-27 Ohio State basketball roster is still morphing. Lee Aaliya, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound forward from Argentina, will bring professional experience to head coach Jake Diebler's roster. The 21-year-old has played overseas for the last five years, most recently for UCAM Murcia in Spain's Liga ACB, which is considered one of the top leagues internationally.
"Lee is an energetic big who I am excited to have join our Buckeye family," Diebler said in a release. "His experience, athleticism, and physicality make him a valuable addition to our program."
Aaliya averaged 18.4 points and 9.6 rebounds while shooting nearly 60% from the field for UCAM Murcia's top team this past season. He helped Atenas de Cordoba reach the Final Four of the South American Basketball Champions League the year prior.
Aaliya's eligibility remains up in the air with the NCAA. While he is permitted to practice, he will have to wait for an official decision before he suits up for an actual game, so the end of this story is still being written at a time when college sports are -- shall we say -- ever-changing and oh so unpredictable.
With Aaliya in the fold, the Ohio State roster has a full set of 15 players for the upcoming season. The roster has gone through a major revision this offseason, and now Jake Diebler knows exactly who will help him attempt to get back to the top of the Big Ten.

Mark Mitchell's potential path to joining the Kentucky basketball program passed another hurdle Friday, Aug. 21.
Brian Edwards, a judge in Jefferson Circuit Court, granted a temporary restraining order for Mitchell and other former college athletes Friday, according to Hans Poppe, one of the attorneys representing the plaintiffs.
Because of Edwards' ruling, Mitchell and the other athletes who had exhausted their college eligibility are permitted to enter the transfer portal and begin officially speaking with schools and coaching staffs. Mitchell has been linked to Kentucky and coach Mark Pope in recent weeks as the Wildcats seek to fill their 15th (and final) roster spot ahead of the 2026-27 season.
A 6-foot-9, 230-pound forward, Mitchell earned All-SEC selection each of the past two seasons at Missouri.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — NFL veteran Calais Campbell knew he wanted to keep playing, even after a family tragedy this summer resulting in his mother's death and his brother being charged with murder.
"I love the game of football a lot … it brings me joy," the 39-year-old Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman said Tuesday in his first public remarks since his mother's death. "It was a little harder training, but as far as football goes, I love this game a lot. And this is a very fun place for me to be. So playing football has been great for me."
The Ravens signed the six-time Pro Bowler in April to a one-year deal for his 19th NFL season.
In late June, police found his 71-year-old mother dead at her home in Atlanta during a welfare check. Her 41-year-old son Ciarre Campbell was charged with murder after he was found with a knife, according to arrest warrants. The family told police that Ciarre struggles with mental illness.
The Ravens permitted Calais Campbell to miss the first few full-team practices of training camp. He participated in his first team session on Aug. 3, five days after the Ravens opened full-team camp.

Maryland head coach Mike Locksley knows that he'll need all the help he can get if he wants to turn around a defense that finished near the bottom of the Big Ten in points allowed last season.
The Terrapins are well into their preparation for the 2026 season, but they received a commitment from experienced defensive back Jordan Scruggs, who will have to learn the system on the fly.
Scruggs is permitted to play another season in college football after a judge's injunction granted him one more year of eligibility.
He's played at several different schools, including Washburn, Central Missouri, Hutchinson CC, South Alabama, and most recently, West Virginia. He redshirted at Washburn.
Scruggs seemed to be inclined to return to the Mountaineers, but changed course late in the process.

Liverpool are expected to reward one of their most exciting young talents with a new long-term contract and ***** per pay rise at Anfield.
One of the few positives from the 2025/26 season was the emergence of Rio Ngumoha as a genuine first-team star for the Reds, with the 17-year-old going from Premier League debutant to England international in just over nine months.
The teenage winger routinely got fans off their seats in L4 with his habital charging at opposition defenders who were often left bamboozled by his dizzying dribbling ability, and he's in line to be rewarded for those superb displays with a demonstrable show of faith from his employers.
On Tuesday, Paul Joyce reported for The Times that Ngumoha is expected to sign a new five-year contract at Liverpool once he turns 18 later this month (29 August).
Minors are only permitted to sign for a maximum three years, with the winger's current deal (agreed last autumn) running to 2028, but he's set to extend his commitment to the Reds to 2031 once he offically becomes an adult.

One of the few positives from the 2025/26 season was the emergence of Rio Ngumoha as a genuine first-team star for the Reds, with the 17-year-old going from Premier League debutant to England international in just over nine months.

Anthony Smith has pleaded not guilty.
Facing four felony charges, Smith entered the plea Monday as he elected for a written arraignment rather than making an in-person appearance, according to court records MMA Junkie acquired from Sarpy County (Neb.). MMA Fighting first reported the plea.
Smith, 38, initially faced three felonies: including terrostic threats (one count) and false imprisonment (two counts). The state has also charged Smith with attempt of a class 1/1A/1B/1C/1D felony.
According to the attorney's office, Smith is accused of threatening to kill his wife if she did not go home with him following an altercation at a bar in Gretna, Neb., after which he grabbed her and pushed her into the vehicle. The attorney's office further alleges that investigators concluded Smith tried multiple times to hit his wife with the vehicle when she escaped during the drive, but that she was able to maneuver out of the way and avoid physical harm. A warrant was issued, and Smith later turned himself in, according to officials.
Smith is currently out on $45,000 bail. According to a report from KETV Omaha, Smith has been permitted to travel out of the country and compete in a professional sporting event in the Dominican Republic in late September-early October (presumably Gamebred MMA).

FAYETTEVILLE — Charlie Collins didn't want to admit defeat, but Arkansas football wide receiver Chris Marshall had an ear-to-ear grin when Collins got asked if the offense had the upper hand at the first meaningful checkpoint of fall camp.
The Razorbacks went inside their home stadium and ran more than 130 plays during the first scrimmage of the month on Sunday, Aug. 16. The format featured 1s vs. 1s and 2s vs. 2s, while quarterbacks KJ Jackson and AJ Hill split reps with the first-team offense.
The media was not permitted to watch, but an Arkansas spokesperson provided a recap of the festivities. Here's everything we know about the first scrimmage of the fall.
The Boise State transfer, who came out of the Dallas high school ranks as a five-star recruit, hauled in a 34-yard touchdown pass from Jackson and had a 96-yard catch off a throw from Hill. The latter set up a 2-yard rushing score from Braylen Russell.
"Statistically, (Marshall) stood out, and he stood out as one of those where the stats actually match it," head coach Ryan Silverfield said.

It is official. Rookie offensive lineman Chase Bisontis, the Arizona Cardinals' second-round pick this year, saw his rookie season come to a close after two preseason games.
The Cardinals placed him on injured reserve on Saturday in a flurry of roster moves, which ended his season.
He suffered a torn MCL in his left knee on Thursday in the Cardinals' 27-14 preseason win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
It was previously reported that he would miss at least most of the season, so if the Cardinals believed that he could return with time left in the regular season, they could have waited to place him on injured reserve.
NFL teams are permitted to have two players they place on injured reserve on roster cutdown day designated to return, allowing them to potentially come back during the season without having been on the 53-man active roster first. Otherwise, a player must spend at least a day on the 53-man roster before going on injured reserve to be eligible to return. However, any player who lands on injured reserve right now is out for the season unless later waived with an injury settlement.

Liverpool are increasingly confident of securing Rio Ngumoha to a new long-term contract, with TeamTalk reporting that talks have already taken place and that Anfield figures expect an agreement in the months ahead.
The 17-year-old, who turns 18 at the end of August, is approaching a significant moment in his development. Once eligible to sign fresh long-term terms, he is set to be rewarded for what has been a rapid rise inside the club. Liverpool previously handed him the maximum three-year contract permitted when he arrived, and the next step now appears to be a far more substantial commitment.
Those discussions are understood to centre on a significantly improved package. The proposed deal is expected to include a major salary increase, as well as performance-related uplifts tied to appearances and international recognition. The belief inside Liverpool is particularly striking. According to the report, "The Reds firmly believe Ngumoha can become a fully fledged England international this season" and that confidence is shaping the contract structure being prepared.

There is a clear sense that Liverpool view the winger as elite-tier talent. Internally, "Liverpool's view is that Ngumoha is already one of the best young players in Europe and they want his new terms to reflect that status." That is a strong statement of intent from a club looking to build its next cycle under Andoni Iraola.

NEW YORK (AP) — Butch Huskey, who played seven major league seasons and was one of the last players to wear No. 42 before it was permanently retired, has died. He was 54.
The New York Mets said Huskey died because of a blood clot in his lung.
"We are saddened to learn about the passing of former Met Butch Huskey," the Mets said in a statement on Friday.
Huskey, who was born and raised in Anadarko, Oklahoma, continued to wear No. 42 after Major League Baseball retired it in honor of Jackie Robinson in 1997. Players who wore the number at the time were permitted to continue wearing it until they stopped playing.
Huskey wore No. 10 during his rookie season in 1993, No. 44 in 1998 with the Boston Red Sox and No. 35 with the Colorado Rockies in 2000. Otherwise, he wore No. 42. The Mets selected Huskey in the seventh round of the 1989 amateur draft, and he played parts of five seasons in New York.

From the FIA easing restrictions to allow Russian and Belarusian drivers and teams to compete under their national flags again to Lightning McQueen being set for an official Formula 1 appearance, here are the biggest stories from August 14.
The FIA has lifted the restrictions previously imposed on Russian and Belarusian participants in international motorsport, following a decision approved by the World Motor Sport Council. Drivers, teams, individual competitors and officials from both countries can now take part without having to compete under neutral status or sign a neutrality commitment.
The change also means Russian and Belarusian national symbols can once again be displayed at international and zone competitions. National flags, colours and symbols are permitted on cars, equipment and uniforms, while the respective national anthems can also be played. However, the FIA continues to prohibit international and zone events from being held in Russia or Belarus until further notice.
Participation will still depend on the laws and regulations applicable in the country hosting each event. The governing body will also continue to follow developments in Ukraine and retains the ability to introduce further measures if circumstances change, including action required to comply with sanctions regimes or its contractual obligations.

Steve Borthwick has handed out enhanced England contracts to five new faces as the core of his squad is revealed with a year to go until the Rugby World Cup.
The England head coach is permitted to hand out 25 deals, believed to be worth in excess of £150,000 per year, each season in an agreement that grants him greater control over the group of players.
Sale prop Asher Opoku-Fordjour, Northampton lock Alex Coles, Bath flanker Guy Pepper, Leicester scrum half Jack van Poortvliet and Gloucester centre Seb Atkinson join the list of contracted players.
Tom Willis drops off after his move to Bordeaux Begles rendered him ineligible for international selection, with Sale's Ben Curry and Tom Roebuck, versatile Saracens back Elliot Daly and out-of-favour Bath centre Ollie Lawrence losing their contracts.
George Furbank, who has swapped Northampton for Harlequins this summer, retains a deal despite having not featured for England since November 2024 amid a horror injury run. Furbank was due to start against South Africa in July, only to be ruled out with appendicitis.

I was told last night that the Jays couldn't appeal because they left the field. Of course, since I was watching the game and they weren't, I asked if a team had ever stayed on the field after the umpires called the inning over. What would happen if a team just stayed on the field? I'm sure there is a rule against it.
And people talked about 'Playing under protest'. But that doesn't exist anymore:
As of the 2021 season, Rule 7.04 in the Official Baseball Rules was amended to read:
"Protesting a game shall never be permitted, regardless of whether such complaint is based on judgment decisions by the umpire or an allegation that an umpire misapplied these rules or otherwise rendered a decision in violation of these rules."
But baseball has to change a rule. If a run can be given 10 minutes after an inning has ended, a team should be allowed to appeal at the same time. It can't be a one-way street.

Lake Victoria Gold Ltd. (TSXV:LVG) (OTCQB:LVGLF) (FSE:E1K) has released the maiden National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) Mineral Resource Estimate for its wholly owned Tembo Gold Project in northwestern Tanzania, outlining an initial resource of nearly 580,000 ounces of gold across three deposits.Lake Victoria Gold Ltd. has outlined its first NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource at the Tembo Gold Project in Tanzania, establishing nearly 580,000 ounces of contained gold and giving the company a second defined development **** et alongside its fully permitted Imwelo project. The resource is centered on the Ngula 1, Nyakagwe Village, and Nyakagwe East deposits, all located on four granted mining licences covering approximately 34 square kilometers within the Lake Victoria Goldfield. The project borders Barrick Gold's Bulyanhulu Mine, one of Tanzania's largest underground gold operations, although mineralization on adjacent properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization at Tembo.
Gold bars. Photo by Zlaťáky.cz on PexelsAmong the three deposits, Ngula 1 represents the most advanced target, accounting for approximately 331,000 ounces, or roughly 57% of the project's total resource and nearly two-thirds of the Indicated ounces. According to the company, the deposit extends for approximately 600 metres along strike, remains open at depth and along strike, and will serve as the focus of a planned 5,000-metre infill drilling program designed to improve geological confidence and support future mine planning.Beyond the headline resource estimate, the company highlighted the presence of a higher-grade component within the deposit. Using progressively higher cut-off grades, the resource estimate outlines 400,400 ounces grading 2.13 grams per tonne at a 1.0 g/t cut-off and 280,500 ounces grading 3.08 g/t at a 1.5 g/t cut-off. These figures are reported as grade-tonnage sensitivities within the same conceptual open-pit shells as the mineral resource estimate and do not represent separate mineral resources or mineral reserves.Lake Victoria Gold said much of the current resource remains classified as Inferred because of drill **** ing, particularly at the Nyakagwe Village and Nyakagwe East deposits. Planned infill drilling is intended to improve confidence in the geological model and support future resource conversion, although there is no **** urance that additional drilling will upgrade existing resources. The company also continues to advance a previously announced toll-milling initiative with Nyati Resources (T) Limited involving a proposed 500-tonne-per-day processing plant located on a Tembo mining licence. The proposed arrangement is intended to provide a processing option for potential near-surface material from Ngula 1, subject to additional drilling, permitting, financing, and the negotiation and execution of definitive agreements.Tembo represents Lake Victoria Gold's second principal development **** et alongside its fully permitted Imwelo G

The Professional Footballers' ****** ociation (PFA) has started legal proceedings against the English Football League (EFL) over changes to salary caps in League One.
In May, the EFL announced that Squad Cost Rules (SCR) would replace the current Profitability and Sustainability (P&S) financial framework from 2026-27.
In League One the changes would reduce the percentage of turnover that clubs could spend on wages from 60% to 50%.
Teams relegated from the Championship are permitted to spend 65% of turnover on wages in their first season in the third tier, down from 75%.
Manager pay has also been incorporated into the new framework and clubs are also restricted to spending no more than 50% of injection of cash from owners on wages.

The Prince and Princess of Wales moved into their 'forever home', Forest Lodge, in November 2025, with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Similarly to many other UK households, the family will be struggling to keep their garden thriving due to the extreme heatwaves and imposed hosepipe ban.
They undoubtedly have a gardening team on hand to work on their outdoor ****** e, but they too will be banned from using any hosepipes to water the lawn, hedges and flowers.
However, if when the family moved in they planted new trees, these could be excluded from the ban. As "trees planted within the last three years" are permitted to be watered with a hosepipe, according to the Thames Water website.

comedian and content creator Damon Darling sparked an uproar with fans online after reportedly getting banned from Walmart. Apparently, he was banned after buying people groceries.
According to him, it is the second time he's been asked to leave the store, causing fans to rally behind him. damondarlingtv broke the news of his recent run-in at Walmart on TikTok on August 7, 2026.
The video had drawn 2.6 million views as of publication. The video also made its way to X and other social media platforms.
His video featured an interaction between him and a Walmart employee about entrance to the store. When Darling sought to understand the reason, he explained that he was merely buying groceries.
When he argued that both the local police and the store manager permitted him to be there, the employee disputed the claims and said it wasn't true. Darling did not feature a clip of him and the cops, but did share a brief snippet of him and the alleged store manager.
