Sky Germany understands that the idea behind said plan is to use the two weeks together to see as many players as possible.
The exact squad size has not yet been finalized, nor has it been determined whether there will be a player swap after the second match.

With four points from three games, FC Schalke have made more than just a respectable start to this Bundesliga season.
A large part of that is down to goalkeeper Loris Karius, who delivered a superb performance both in the sensational 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich and in the 3-1 away win over Union Berlin. Schalke fans in particular are therefore calling for him to be nominated for the German national team on social media.
Karius was asked about that in a Sky interview after the Union match. The TV reporter wanted to know whether there had already been any contact with Germany coach Jürgen Klopp and how realistic he considered a call-up to the national team.
"No, there has been no contact," Karius replied. "I see it as neither realistic nor unrealistic. I'm not thinking about it."

Jürgen Klopp paid a visit to Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday, with photos posted by the Bundesliga club showing the new Germany coach in conversation with several members of the squad, including shooting star Younes Ebnoutalib.
According to Sky Sport, Klopp and the 22-year-old forward had a lengthy conversation during the visit.
Klopp is reportedly impressed by Ebnoutalib's qualities and wants to convince the striker to represent Germany. Born in Frankfurt to a German mother and Moroccan father, Ebnoutalib is eligible to play for the DFB. He was previously called up to Morocco's U15 national team, but has yet to represent the country at senior level.
Ebnoutalib could now face a decision over his international future, with Klopp keen to persuade him to choose Germany.

German football icon Lothar Matthäus has criticized new Germany coach Jürgen Klopp for announcing his first squad on a Thursday while players are readying for Europa League and Conference League club action.
Klopp will name the squad for four Nations Leagues matches starting in the Netherlands on September 24 on Thursday, September 17. Matthäus thinks it should be pushed back until the Friday.
"Even if they have already been informed in advance by the national coach, the players could be disturbed in their concentration by constant questions. It does something to a player's psyche if you are asked about it before an important match," Matthäus said in a column for broadcaster Sky.
"I would really ask Jürgen Klopp to make the nominations in future on a Friday morning or at midday."
He added that if a player is injured in a European match on the Thursday, no late call-up would be needed and a new player could be drafted in before the squad was made public.

Sure, you can say that is what he is supposed to do, but it is reassuring that he — so far — is able to juggle managing the here and now, while also working to establish new initiatives for the future.

It already feels like quite some time ago, and yet it also still feels like it was only just a few weeks ago that Germany yet again floundered out of the World Cup far earlier than they should have. In Foxborough, Massachusetts, they fell to Paraguay in a penalty shootout after failing to get the job done in 90 minutes, but the writing was on the wall as they collectively failed to hit their heights throughout the entire tournament — starting off the group stages with a 7-1 trouncing of Curaçao in Houston, Texas probably didn't do wonders for keeping them on their toes.
Too many players underperformed, mid-match management calls and tactical changes might not have been right, but what's done is done and Germany can now ride a wave of anticipation and excitement into Jürgen Klopp's reign as Die Mannschaft manager, as the former Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Mainz man took over for Julian Nagelsmann. The DFB more or less strongly urged Nagelsmann to resign after the World Cup, but was he really to blame for everything that went wrong for Germany, or was he just the easiest scapegoat to point at? For former/honorary Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeneß, the problems with the team extended well beyond Nagelsmann.
"I think our team's performance was an absolute disaster. It was a disgrace for our country. But there are various reasons for that. Enough has already been said about Julian Nagelsmann. That's not to say that the Argentine squad doesn't possess the grit, fight, and tenacity within the laws of the game that routinely gets them to the latter stages of World Cups, but there certainly questions raised; why didn't Lionel Messi get a red vs. Saudi Arabia, why was Egypt's 3rd goal disallowed, why didn't anyone get booked early on vs. England? All legitimate questions asked, but for Hoeneß, he doesn't see that type of fight from Germany that Argentina almost always displays.

Going back two seasons, Liverpool had one of the best squads in Europe. On paper, a lot of talent remains. Yet even accepting many players individually and collectively under-performed last season, the squad today looks well short of what Liverpool fans expected it to be at this stage.
Lacking depth and wildly imbalanced in places, with the season kicking off against Newcastle on Sunday and work still to be done in the transfer market, there's plenty of concern and consternation amongst the fanbase. New head coach Andoni Iraola, though, says that signings are coming.

Germany great Lothar Matthäus advised former national team coach Julian Nagelsmann to look for a new job abroad following a disappointing participation at the recent World Cup.

It is easy to forget how close the fight between England and Germany was for Jamal Musiala, with the talented Bayern Munich breakout star eventually deciding on Germany. He took his role of exciting young talent into the 2021 European Championship and 2022 World Cup, but that role has evolved by 2026. Musiala now has the #10 for Germany and nears his mid-20s. Harry Wilson believes that pre-season under Daniel Farke at Leeds reminds him of his time at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp.
Wilson, 29, joined Leeds on a free transfer this summer after five years at Fulham, where he scored 36 goals in 187 appearances. The Wales international came through the academy at Liverpool and made his debut under Klopp.

It sounds weird because he is Liverpool's most expensive player in their history, but people have forgotten how much he cost and how big of a coup his arrival was viewed as last summer.
Talk about replacing Mohamed Salah - that's something Liverpool clearly had on their mind last summer. I think we can all agree you're not going to find a right forward who has the output of Salah.
He was the unicorn in the transfer market and a generational player in that respect. I think Liverpool have maybe looked at replacing Salah's numbers through an out-and-out number nine.
That's something we haven't seen Liverpool use over the last couple of years. If you think back to the peak Jurgen Klopp era, it was Roberto Firmino who was a false nine dropping into midfield.
