Paris Hilton turned up the drama for a glamorous night out in Paris. The socialite joined the fashion crowd for the BoF500 Gala, delivering another head-turning moment during Fashion Week. For the occasion, Hilton went all in on sheer dressing with an intricate all-black look.
Hilton wore Annie's Theodora Gown, a floor-length creation constructed almost entirely from delicate black lace. The braless sheer lace dress featured a high neckline, long sleeves, and strategically placed opaque lace panels that contrasted against the transparent fabric.
The gown's sheer construction put plenty of skin on display, with Hilton not wearing anything underneath. Scalloped lace and curved detailing framed her chest and midriff, while a more opaque section provided coverage through the center. Below the hips, the delicate floral lace became completely sheer again, extending all the way down to the floor.
The fitted silhouette hugged Hilton's figure before subtly flaring toward the hem. She kept the all-black theme going with pointed heels visible beneath the transparent skirt.
Paris Hilton's look also received a futuristic styling touch courtesy of narrow black sunglasses. She swept her blonde hair into a high, tousled updo, leaving curled strands loose around her face. Rather than loading up on jewelry, Hilton allowed the elaborate lacework to remain the focus.

Meghan Markle is reportedly taking a strategic approach to As Ever's latest holiday launch after facing setbacks with previous products. The brand founder recently unveiled her first-ever Holiday Advent Calendar in collaboration with Compartés. Priced at $148, the festive box has reportedly generated excitement for Markle, though sources claim she is being particularly calculated with the new release.
Meghan Markle is reportedly "trying to be strategic" with the launch of As Ever's new Holiday Advent Calendar. The official As Ever page recently shared a photo of the festive box, captioning the post, "A little holiday magic is on its way. 24 days of sweet surprises, made for the joy of anticipation."
The Advent Calendar features 24 handcrafted chocolates housed in a designer box inspired by Markle's home and garden in Montecito. The holiday offering is a collaboration with Los Angeles-based chocolatier Compartes, with the chocolates incorporating flavors from As Ever's signature spreads, including strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, and orange marmalade.
Each piece also features a countdown number written in Markle's handwriting and is hand-painted with edible gold **** er. For now, the Advent Calendar is available exclusively for pre-order. A source told Star Magazine that Markle is a fan of delicious, high-quality chocolate.
However, the source noted that advent calendars often contain chocolate that is not particularly high quality. With her latest offering, Markle allegedly believes she has created something "beautiful and festive."

Second Lady Usha Vance's scary moment exiting a helicopter with her newborn has sparked a heated debate online. Fans raised concerns about the incident and questioned why no one stepped in to help.
Second Lady Usha Vance nearly stumbled while exiting the Marine Two helicopter at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Monday, Oct. 5, PEOPLE reported. She had 10-week-old son Alec Neel Vance strapped to her chest in a baby carrier. Vance also carried a large leather diaper bag as she descended the aircraft's staircase.
She grabbed the railing after missing a step and quickly regained her balance. She then turned back toward the helicopter's entrance to reassure those nearby. According to lip reader Nicola Hickling, Usha told nearby officers, "I'm okay, and he's fine… thank you" (via The Mirror).
Vice President JD Vance followed her down the stairs moments later. He carried their four-year-old daughter, Mirabel, and did not appear to notice the incident. The family traveled to Anchorage, Alaska, for a Republican National Committee rally supporting Senator Dan Sullivan's reelection campaign.
The video quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter), sparking safety concerns and criticism. One user questioned why no one intervened, writing, "Did ******* ody notice that Usha Vance is carrying a 9-week-old baby and a huge leather diaper bag, and she nearly FALLS down the stairs of Marine 2? The Air Force officers didn't move to help her, and her husband barely even acknowledges her."

Fashion Week is all about the front row, yet one moment away from the runway stole the spotlight. Moving through a busy, stone-arched hall, David Beckham kept his daughter Harper's hand firmly in his. The protective gesture became a highly talked-about image from Victoria Beckham's PFW show, where David and their kids turned out to cheer her on.
Victoria Beckham recently presented her Spring/Summer 2027 collection at Paris Fashion Week. The show was held in the historic Conciergerie, a former prison where Marie Antoinette was held, and models walked past candlelit rows of guests, including Eva Longoria.
The Beckhams made it a family evening. Three of David and Victoria Beckham's kids, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, joined him. Romeo's girlfriend Kim Turnbull and Cruz's girlfriend Jackie Apostel were also there. Then came the moment fans noticed. In a short clip posted on X, David walks a step ahead, holding Harper's hand as they make their way through the guests.
Harper wore a deep plum dress with a fitted bodice, spaghetti straps, and a softly gathered neckline that appears to have a delicate lace-style trim. The skirt fell in a fluid, floor-grazing line that moved as she walked beside her dad. She kept the accessories minimal, with a fine pendant necklace at the collarbone, and wore her long blonde hair loose past her shoulders.
The dark, rich color sat well alongside David's black suit and the muted tones of the stone hall. In the family portrait, Harper's dress also stood out against the neutral and grey tailoring worn by the others. It is an endearing snapshot of a father keeping his youngest close in a packed room. A family portrait from the night shows David and Victoria's kids and their partners posing with their parents beside stone pillars.

Paris just got a dose of some extravagant lace-trimmed drama when Ciara arrived at the BoF Gala in a sheer black lacy dress that leaves little to the imagination. Her outfit blends delicate florals with a lingerie-inspired bodice, and the silhouette frames her baby **** p. With the cameras catching every angle, the singer shared her own verdict of the night online, calling it a "night to remember."
The BoF Gala took place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris on Saturday, October 3, during Paris Fashion Week. According to Business of Fashion, guests from more than 70 nationalities celebrated the Class of 2026, the newest additions to "the definitive index of people shaping the global fashion industry."
Fashion account Runway x Red Carpet identified Ciara's look as Dolce & Gabbana. The 40-year-old singer sported a black midi dress made of floral lace, with a see-through finish across the midsection and skirt. The fabric of the dress skims her baby **** p and falls to mid-calf length.
The bodice sets the tone of the look. A black satin top with fine lace trim and slim straps sits above the lace layers, and a darker underlayer appears at the hips. Moreover, the lingerie-inspired styling stays polished thanks to the midi length.
The "Level Up" singer let her accessories keep the focus on the dress. An oversized, sparkling cross necklace rested at her collarbone while a statement ring adorned her hand. Black pointed-toe pumps complete the outfit.

The Venice Film Festival may revolve around cinema, but fashion has become an essential part of its annual spectacle. The 2026 edition once again transformed the Lido into a showcase for couture, sharp tailoring and unexpected styling. Stars moved between timeless black gowns, shimmering embellishments, relaxed suits and bursts of bright color. Some relied on archival fashion, while others arrived in custom creations designed specifically for the occasion. Together, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Amal Clooney, Rooney and Kate Mara, Robert Pattinson, Suki Waterhouse and Pamela Anderson demonstrated just how varied festival dressing can be.
Jury president Maggie Gyllenhaal established a sophisticated tone with several dramatic black looks. For the opening, she selected an all black Celine ensemble featuring an off the shoulder twisted bodice. Another memorable appearance came in archival Armani Privé from the Fall 2015 collection. Rich velvet, sharply sculpted shoulders and crystal detailing around the plunging neckline gave the older design a fresh presence on the carpet.
Amal Clooney also embraced black with a custom Tom Ford creation by Haider Ackermann. Her appearance demonstrated the continuing appeal of streamlined eveningwear, with careful construction and texture doing much of the visual work. Rather than competing with the surroundings through excessive decoration, the gown relied on an elegant silhouette and refined details.
Sisters Rooney and Kate Mara offered two very different interpretations of evening glamour while promoting Bucking Fastard. Rooney remained close to her famously minimalist aesthetic in a black satin Louis Vuitton dress. A sleek fitted upper section expanded dramatically near the hem through gathers and voluminous fabric. Kate moved in the opposite direction with Armani Privé, choosing a black and white gown featuring a sparkling skirt and pearl embellished bodice.
Menswear also provided a change of pace. Robert Pattinson appeared in a relaxed white pinstripe suit while promoting Primetime, pairing it with a crisp shirt and striped tie. The slightly oversized proportions gave traditional tailoring a lighter feeling suited to Venice. Suki Waterhouse accompanied him in a pale green Saint Laurent lace two piece, bringing a softer color and delicate texture to the event.

(NewsNation) — Prince Harry is rumored to be preparing a documentary about Princess Diana to mark the 30th anniversary of his mother's death, with the potential 2027 project already eliciting some negative reaction.
Royal commentator and journalist Rob Shuter says he's all for the concept.
"It's his right to tell the story. That is his mom. Lots and lots of people will be making documentaries next year," he told "NewsNation Prime" on Saturday. "The historian in me, the reporter in me, says we want as much information as we possibly can get, and who better to talk about Princess Diana than her son?"
New book by Princess Diana's brother prompts war of words with King Charles III
The former Diana Spencer, who married and later divorced Prince Charles, was killed in a car crash in Paris in August 1997. At the time of her death, her eldest son, William, was 15; Harry was 12.

Jennifer Lawrence is back with another dose of style inspo, and this time, she's bringing her summer favorites into fall.
Stepping out in New York City on Friday, October 2, the Hunger Games lead headed to dinner with a friend, wearing an autumnal take on one of the sunny season's go-to footwear choices: the classic flip flop.

Throughout the heat-wave months, stars such as Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Katie Holmes turned to Khaite and Gianvito Rossi for '90s-inspired flip flop heels with delicate kitten stilettos. And elsewhere, Kendall Jenner, Zoë Kravitz, Rosé, and fellow minimalist It girls lived in barely-there thong flip flops from the Row. But for the fall, Lawrence selected a chunkier, sturdier alternative: a black pair with wide straps and a comfy platform base that offered a bit of elevation from the NYC streets.

Black may be one of the safest colors in formal fashion, but the 2026 Venice Film Festival showed how unpredictable it can become in the right hands. Across premieres and ceremonies, stars embraced lace, velvet, satin, sculptural tailoring and elaborate draping. Instead of relying on color to create impact, designers used texture and silhouette to give each outfit a distinctive personality. Laura Dern, Susan Sarandon, Amal Clooney, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Rooney Mara all approached the classic shade differently. Together, their appearances demonstrated why black continues to have such staying power on major red carpets.
Laura Dern embraced intricate detailing for the premiere of Wild Horse Nine. Her sleeveless black Dior gown featured a V neckline, delicate lace and floral embroidery across the upper section. The design transitioned into a fuller shimmering skirt, giving the monochrome look depth through contrasting textures. Black Dior pumps maintained the restrained palette, while a Cartier necklace provided a polished finishing touch.
Susan Sarandon chose a more streamlined interpretation at the premiere of The Echo Chamber. Her black Fendi dress featured long sleeves and an off the shoulder neckline, with a fluid silhouette that followed the body without requiring elaborate embellishment. Statement jewelry, sunglasses and bright red lipstick added personality, demonstrating how accessories can completely change the mood of an otherwise minimalist black dress.
For the festival's opening ceremony, Amal Clooney turned to Tom Ford. Her floor length column gown used rippled fabric panels and subtle leather detailing to create movement and texture. Pointed pumps and a coordinating clutch continued the sleek approach. The result demonstrated how carefully constructed fabric can make a single color visually interesting without overwhelming the overall silhouette.
Maggie Gyllenhaal brought archival fashion into the conversation with an Armani Privé velvet gown originally created in 2015. The design combined sharply defined shoulders, long sleeves and a plunging embellished neckline. Its return more than a decade later also highlighted the growing red carpet practice of revisiting existing fashion rather than treating older couture as something that belongs permanently in an archive.

Its return more than a decade later also highlighted the growing red carpet practice of revisiting existing fashion rather than treating older couture as something that belongs permanently in an archive.

New York City Ballet hosted its glamorous annual fashion gala last night, with Sarah Jessica Parker and Stevie Nicks making fantastic appearances in fairy-inspired looks. And while the ballerinas in their white minidresses and glittery black ensembles certainly took the spotlight, there was another bright light, not on the stage but on the red velvet seats of David H. Koch Theater: Olivia Rodrigo.
The pop singer dressed up in a lovely white slip dress for the evening. The silky number had the most delicate spaghetti straps and a romantic floral lace neckline. The lace detailing continued down the sides of the floor-length dress and center of the skirt. And even more romance was offered by the piece's breezy open back.
The piece was a vintage Chloé by Stella McCartney design from the house's Spring/Summer 1998 collection. It was sourced for Rodrigo from It-girl favorite Raffe Vintage.
The You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love singer let the angelic dress do the talking, pairing it simply with a shimmery, floral-embroidered clutch, some diamond rings, and a single hair clip.

Ines de Ramon made a fashion statement at the Chloé spring 2027 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on Thursday in France. The jewelry designer floated to the front row in a Chloé ruffle dress in a striking blue shade, and she paired the feminine design with a pair of Western boots. Ines de Ramon Getty Images De Ramon skipped the towering heels that have been taking over Paris Fashion Week and went for a more comfortable shoe option. She wore the Chloé Western-inspired Azelan boots, which are crafted from vintage-effect calfskin and feature a pointed toe, tonal topstitching and a Cuban heel measuring 2.6 inches. Although the floor-length dress covered most of the shoes, the boots peeked through the hem as she walked and posed for photos during the photo call at the show. The high tube leg of the knee-length boot is finished with gold-tone hardware and a hand-embroidered strap signed with the Chloé logo. They retail for $1,990. Chloé Azelan boots. Definium Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DFTX) has now delivered a third consecutive positive Phase 3 readout for its LSD-based medication, the second in generalized anxiety disorder. The result puts the company on a viable route toward a potential FDA approval of an LSD-based treatment for generalized anxiety disorder, and considering how closely psychedelic stocks have historically traded on each other's data, the reading carries far more weight than Definium's own ticker.
On September 14, Definium Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DFTX) announced that its drug DT120, an orally disintegrating tablet formulation of LSD, was successful in Panorama, the company's second late-stage anxiety trial. Over 12 weeks, patients who received a 100-microgram dose experienced a 9.8-point decline on the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale, a typical clinical measure, compared to a 4.7-point drop with placebo.
The resulting 5.1-point placebo-adjusted improvement is similar to what the company's first pivotal anxiety trial, Voyage, showed back in August: an 11.6-point improvement versus 6.2 for placebo, a 5.4-point separation that Jefferies called one of the strongest placebo-adjusted efficacy results ever seen in generalized anxiety disorder, and that Stifel simply described as "a clean win."
Psychedelic equities have a history of trading as a group rather than as individual names, and this tendency applies both ways. In February 2026, when Compass Pathways, the sector's other clinical leader developing a psilocybin-based drug for treatment-resistant depression, reported positive late-stage data, shares of Definium Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DFTX), Atai Beckley, GH Research, and Helus Pharma all rose, some by double digits.
That correlation is significant here because Definium's win is an independent validation of the broader therapeutic argument on which Compass and others are betting: a single dose of a classic psychedelic, administered in a controlled clinical setting, can produce lasting improvements in serious mental health conditions via pathways different from existing SSRIs and other standard-of-care drugs.

Whether it's a brush fire, a mass shooting, a car chase or the aftermath of a major storm, viewers in Los Angeles are used to getting the news from above.
Television news helicopter coverage has become one of the most important elements of any local newscast, with the high-flying helicopters roaring overhead a common fixture of breaking news scenes.
These images are so ubiquitous, it may have been easy to take them for granted, until Tuesday, when an NBC4 helicopter carrying reporter Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw crashed while covering breaking news in Chatsworth. Both died, along with a bystander on the ground.
The tragedy has prompted soul-searching in the world of TV news helicopter pilots and focused attention on safety issues.

Ukrainian forces fired more than 1,000 drones at Russia overnight, including hundreds that were launched toward Moscow, officials said Sunday as the Kremlin was wrapping up the third and last day of its parliamentary elections.
Moscow's mayor described the wave of drones as the "largest ever" attack on the Russian capital and said there had been damage to a Moscow oil refinery and a residential building.
Across the wider Moscow region, the attack killed two people and wounded 20, local Gov. Andrei Vorobyov said. The dead were a 74-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, he said.
Writing on social media, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Kyiv had used a range of missiles and drones in the attack — including Ukraine's domestically made Flamingo and Pelican missiles — to hit oil and logistics facilities.
"These are billions of dollars that sustain the war machine," Zelenskyy said, referring to the financial pressure that Kyiv hopes to put on Russia's economy.
