Authorities are searching for the Gulfstream G100, a twin-engine, midsize jet, off Nantucket. Both air and surface crews have been deployed to the area, according to the Coast Guard Northeast District.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported losing contact with the aircraft early Saturday, the Coast Guard said.

In an interview with USA TODAY ahead of the Sept. 4 release on Netflix, Earle, 25, was asked if she regretted not speaking out sooner or how she handled the situation. Her talking about the drama on camera was unplanned, she explained. "I can look back and think that maybe I could have done things differently," Earle said. "But honestly, I'm happy that I didn't speak out of emotions online at the time."
The two were business partners while Cooper's Unwell Podcast Network hosted Earle's "Hot Mess" podcast until March 2025. Earle abruptly left the network, took her show with her, and never explained exactly why. In April, Cooper issued a public statement regarding the feud speculation, and Earle said she would speak on it in the future.
In the first episode of "Earle Meets World," Earle briefly discusses the need to address the conflict. "I just get scared because everyone tells me not to fight with her," Earle says while talking with her dad, who's also her manager. "Because they always win and they always come out on top."
The content creator plainly says: "I definitely feel betrayed by Alex Cooper." She then goes on to explain when she was 22, she looked up to Cooper and was excited about being interviewed on Cooper's podcast "Call Her Daddy." Bryant McKinnie spent 12 seasons protecting quarterbacks in the NFL. Now he wants a chance to help decide which players make it onto a roster in the first place.
The former Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens tackle told TMZ Sports that he would like to work in an NFL front office after repeatedly questioning personnel decisions from home. "Sometimes I sit there, I'm like, 'Who was making these decisions?'" he said.
McKinnie is particularly interested in recruiting and the draft rather than returning as a position coach. He even has potential destinations in mind, mentioning the Los Angeles Chargers and Miami Dolphins while joking that a return to Minnesota is less attractive because he is not sure he wants to live there again.
The idea would give McKinnie another post-playing role connected to football. The 2002 No. 7 overall pick made the Pro Bowl with Minnesota, won Super Bowl XLVII with Baltimore and now regularly discusses NFL personnel and roster construction as a co-host of Bleav in Vikings.
McKinnie told TMZ that some draft selections leave him wondering what a team saw in the player. "Sometimes I just feel like the picks just aren't making sense sometimes," he said. McKinnie wants to participate in the evaluation process himself. TMZ reported that recruiting and drafting are the areas of front-office work that interest him most.

Smith briefly defended himself in a post on X. After 11 days of silence, he took to YouTube to address the matter fully on his channel, Stephen A's Straight Shooter Media.
In the episode, Smith discusses why he waited so long to respond, why the comments from his fellow community were so disappointing, and why "disagreement should never automatically be labeled as disparagement."
"I am a human; I do have a heart; I do have a soul. I know what black women mean to me; I know what black women have always meant to me, and to hear such a flagrantly disrespectful accusation levied in my direction definitely, definitely hurt. But it gave me an opportunity to see how things unfold…and I cant put into words my level of disappointment," Smith said.
"As I said on the airwaves last Monday…you disagree with me, cool…we are in the conflict business…but when disagreement is allowed to be defined as disparagement, we got a problem, especially when journalists don't even have the courage to point out the distinction."
Smith shared an exchange he had with his daughters as they attempted to console him during his 11-day hiatus.
