Beyoncé has secured full ownership of her whiskey brand.

previously reported, the "MORNING DEW (DONK)" artist launched SirDavis with Moët Hennessy in 2024. The whiskey features a "bespoke recipe" influenced by ****** an and Scotland and had been in the works for years. She described it as fate, given her family ties.
"I've always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling," Beyoncé said in a press release. "When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy."
She continued, "In partnering with Moët Hennessy, we have crafted a delicious American whisky that respects tradition but also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category. You can taste it better than I could ever tell you — welcome, SirDavis."

PARIS — LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton's key fashion and leather goods division broke its losing streak in the second quarter, in a signal that demand for luxury goods is recovering after two years of sluggish sales.
The French luxury goods giant said organic sales for the unit, which includes Louis Vuitton, Dior and Loro Piana, rose 1 percent to 9.01 billion euros in the three months to June 30, following seven consecutive quarters of declines.

Jul. 22—GRAND FORKS — Tim Hennessy isn't a full-time employee at UND anymore, but the longtime hockey radio play-by-play man could still call games next season under a new structure.
UND notified Hennessy on July 8 that it is eliminating his full-time position within the athletic department and indicated that the men's hockey radio play-by-play position will be structured underneath Fighting Hawks Sports Partnerships.
Most of UND's radio play-by-play announcers are currently paid by Fighting Hawks Sports Partnerships on a game-by-game basis, including Jack Michaels (football and women's basketball play-by-play), Darrin Looker (UND hockey road play-by-play or ******* yst), Mike LaMoine (UND hockey ******* yst) and Mike Berg (UND football ******* yst).
Men's basketball play-by-play announcer Paul Ralston, who serves as UND's ******* istant athletic director for broadcast properties, is paid by the school. Ralston is Hennessy's supervisor.
Hennessy said he met with UND athletic director Bill Chaves and Ralston two weeks ago.

Jerry Jones spent the offseason adding affordable veteran depth to strengthen the Dallas Cowboys' roster. Before training camp has even opened, one of those additions is already gone, forcing Dallas to revisit its plans along the offensive line.
Jones' effort to reinforce the Cowboys' offensive line took an early setback after veteran center Matt Hennessy was ruled out for the entire 2026 season. ESPN's Todd Archer reported on June 18 that Dallas placed Hennessy on season-ending injured reserve after he underwent neck surgery, ending his season before training camp.
The Cowboys signed Hennessy to a one-year, $1.4 million contract in March after he appeared in all 17 games for the San Francisco 49ers in 2025, starting two. Jones viewed the former third-round pick as an experienced backup behind Cooper Beebe following Brock Hoffman's departure in free agency.
Instead, Dallas lost one of its top interior depth options after Hennessy suffered a neck injury during organized team activities. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer initially indicated Hennessy could begin the year on the Physically Unable to Perform list, but the injury proved serious enough for the Cowboys to end his season before Week 1.

Exemplar Luxury Group, formerly Saks Global, completed its Chapter 11 restructuring on Friday and adopted a new corporate name, the company said. Through the reorganization, the company shed nearly three-quarters of its debt load and secured $500 million in fresh exit financing.
CEO Geoffroy van Raemdonck said the new name signals the company's commitment to high-end retail across all three banners. "It's a really big day for the Exemplar Luxury Group. We are starting as a new company," van Raemdonck told WWD. The three store brands — Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman — will keep their existing names and logos, the company said.
Saks Global filed for bankruptcy protection in January 2026, about 13 months after it bought Neiman Marcus Group for $2.7 billion, according to The New York Times. The deal, led by former owner Richard Baker, left the company with a lot of debt. Vendors started holding back inventory because of late payments, which sped up the company's financial troubles.
When the restructuring concluded, ABC News reported that 49 stores remained open across the three banners — a footprint that breaks down to 33 Neiman Marcus locations, 15 Saks Fifth Avenue outlets, and the Bergdorf Goodman flagship on Fifth Avenue, down from a pre-bankruptcy total of roughly 170. Van Raemdonck said that the Off 5th discount chain had been largely shuttered, with just 12 stores kept open strictly to move excess inventory.
Alongside the name change, Exemplar reconstituted its board of directors. Two seats apiece on the seven-member board went to representatives of Pentwater Capital Management and Bracebridge Capital, the investment firms that backed the company during its time in bankruptcy, the company said. Rounding out the board are van Raemdonck himself and two outside directors — Dave Kimbell, who ran Ulta Beauty before stepping down as CEO, and Philippe Schaus, a longtime LVMH executive committee member who most recently led Moët Hennessy as its president and global chief executive.

The Dallas Cowboys finished a strong offseason, and for now, the team takes a break until training camp later next month. While the players wrapped up the latest phase of team activities, the front office was certainly busy.
Dallas signed four players on Friday and made three corresponding roster moves, including placing backup center Matt Hennessy on injured reserve with a neck injury. Of the names added to the team, one name does stick out. The Cowboys signed former second-round pick of the New York Jets, Denzel Mims. With Parris Campbell’s retirement, Dallas added a veteran wideout at the bottom of the roster to get through the summer. However, is there reason to think Mims could stick around longer? Mims has always been on the Cowboys’ radar. He once starred in-state at Baylor, where he posted two 1,000-yard seasons over his collegiate career. Mims’ size and speed (4.38 40-yard dash) had many teams interested during the draft process, including Dallas, which had him in for a pre-draft visit ahead of the 2020 draft. Once Dallas lucked into CeeDee Lamb in the first round, Dallas set their sights elsewhere in the second round, and Mims landed in New York.
A combination of factors went wrong, sending Mims on a negative trajectory with the Jets. First, he sustained an injury that delayed his NFL debut until Week 7 of his rookie season. In his second season, he had lost 20 pounds due to sickness, and the coaching staff apparently lost faith in him, relegating Mims to a reserve role.
Distrust between him and the coaches, and his lack of production, led to him being traded to the Detroit Lions in 2023. Since then, Mims is now on his seventh professional football team, which includes stops in the UFL. Clearly, the odds are stacked against him to make the Cowboys’ roster, but if he did, what is he up against?
