An audience at a taping of Oprah Winfrey's podcast on Thursday applauded a call to support women like Lindsay Clancy who don't have "her privilege" after Clancy's murder trial ended in a mistrial.
Winfrey's show took place in the wake of Clancy's trial after she admitted to strangling her three children in 2023.
Last week, Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial after jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict on whether Clancy was criminally responsible for killing her children. Her defense argued that Clancy was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time.
