That's why, as this year winds down, THR reached out to the many pros who've now achieved fame in their own right for dressing the most visible personages in the world. What did we learn? The newish Parisian design duo behind Matières Fécales — Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran — have captured stylists' hearts the most, while Matthieu Blazy's Chanel, Jonathan Anderson's Dior and Anthony Vaccarello's Saint Laurent also number among Hollywood's favorite designers. Feathers still are flying on red carpet fits for all genders. The sheer look continues to show off, but cutouts and two-piece looks are taking over the body-part wars. Lace, lingerie and leather are now completely red carpet-worthy. Slinky close fits and strong tailoring are forever. And so, apparently, is fashion's idolization of Zendaya. We could have easily included three or more of her looks, but to keep the list varied and fun, we chose only one top fit per actor or actress. The methodology behind the list included tabulating the top 10 looks chosen by 50-plus stylists, prioritizing by the number of votes each look received, and then, to break ties, bringing in rankings. The result: a realistic look at coming trends and which designers and designs rank the highest for Hollywood, by the world's top tastemakers.

Charles F. Porter, actor and producer of the 2025 film Finding Faith, has died after a long battle with cancer. He was 47.
His passing was announced by his wife, Candice Tab-Porter.
"With a very heavy heart I wanted to share the passing of my husband Charles Frederick Porter. I am honoured to have been by his side for the incredible 18 years we had together," she penned on Instagram.
Porter was best known on screen for playing the **** ular NASCAR champion in Wendell Scott: A Race Story.
Born in the UK to an American Air Force father and British mother, he went to college in the States, where he played American football. After a back injury derailed his NFL hopes, he dropped 65 pounds and became an actor.
In the early 2000s, Porter launched a promising TV career, making appearances on The Parkers, Close to Home, Without a Trace, Bones and House.

Two years ago, it seemed like ******* ody wanted to touch Intel (NASDAQ: INTC). Then something strange happened. The U.S. government bought a stake in Intel. So did Nvidia. So did SoftBank. Companies and governments don't usually hand over billions to a business they think is finished, and that's the real reason I think the next 14 months matter more for this stock than almost any stretch in Intel's recent history.
Turnarounds aren't real until a real, working product ships, and Intel is finally shipping. In July, the company said its newest Arizona fab had entered high-volume manufacturing on a subset of its Core Ultra Series 3 chips, known as Panther Lake, the first processor built on Intel 18A, which Intel calls the most advanced semiconductor process ever developed and manufactured in the United States. Its second-quarter 2026 release adds that the next node behind it, 18A-P, had already entered risk production, meaning Intel isn't just trying to catch up on one generation, it's trying to stay on pace for the one after. On the data center side, that same release says Intel also launched Xeon 6+, its first server chip built on 18A.
Money talks, and in 2025 three very different yet massive buyers said the same thing with their wallets. The U.S. government invested $8.9 billion in Intel common stock, structured largely out of unpaid CHIPS Act and Secure Enclave funding, in exchange for roughly 275 million shares and warrants for up to 241 million more. Nvidia added $5 billion, and SoftBank put in another $2 billion, both also in Intel common stock. None of this money really guarantees Panther Lake sells well, or that Intel's foundry business ever turns a real profit. But I think it's an odd thing to do if you think a company is circling the drain, and you don't have any faith in it.

Speaking on The Colin Cowherd Podcast, Manning pointed to McCarthy's recent play with the Giants as evidence that a fresh start is already paying off.
McCarthy, acquired from the Vikings in late September for a 2027 fifth-round pick, has appeared in three games for New York. Former **** nal forward Gabriel Jesus has revealed that he turned down an approach from Brazilian heavyweights Flamengo during the summer transfer window out of loyalty to boyhood club Palmeiras. Instead of returning to South America, the 29-year-old attacker completed a deadline-day switch from north London to Spanish giants Barcelona.
Speaking to TV Bandeirantes, the Brazil international disclosed that Rio de Janeiro outfit Flamengo attempted to lure him back to his homeland once it became clear he was no longer part of Mikel Arteta's plans. Although the striker enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at Manchester City earlier in his career, recurring fitness setbacks hampered his progress at the Emirates Stadium. That uncertainty prompted several clubs across Europe and South America to enquire about his availability.
Having progressed through the Palmeiras academy between 2013 and 2015, the forward won the 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A Best Newcomer award alongside the Copa do Brasil before claiming the 2016 Bola de Ouro as the Verdao lifted their first league **** le in 22 years.
Across 83 appearances in Sao Paulo, he registered 28 goals and nine **** ists prior to moving to England. Explaining why that history stopped him from negotiating with Flamengo, Jesus said: "They wanted to talk to me, but I politely said: 'I really appreciate the contact, but just as there are players from Flamengo's youth academy that you want to come back, I'm also a product of Palmeiras' youth system.'"
Rather than heading back to South America prematurely, the centre-forward opted to remain in European football by penning a three-year contract with Barcelona running until June 2029. While he has no immediate plans to leave Catalonia, the attacker stressed that only his former club will be considered when he eventually returns home, adding: "I am Palmeiras, my mind is Palmeiras, 100% Palmeiras in a possible return. I don't know when."

Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving is being heavily linked with a move to the Miami Heat.
The Heat have had a really poor start to the season, winning just one of their first five games. That has increased the need for reinforcements, and Irving has come up as a potential option.
However, NBA insider Brett Siegel has all but dismissed the chance of this move happening, even if the interest from Miami is genuine.
ESPN's Shams Charania broke the news about the Miami Heat's interest in Irving, but he expressed doubts over the feasibility of the deal.
Siegel has now done exactly the same thing.

Ta Bi caught the eye from his very first appearance in red and white.
He's a skilful and tricky winger with a turn of speed and seems to be developing very well in the squad. The rawness we saw at the start is going as he improves his all-round game.
On Wednesday, he was very aware of what was going on around him — his head was up and he was looking to hurt the opposition.
He got slightly lucky when beating El Hadji Malick Diouf for the second goal, but if you don't try, nothing happens. Once round the defender, he laid it on a plate for Timur Tutierov and his speed of thought for the third goal was excellent, coupled with a perfect delivery.
I would imagine Régis Le Bris will continue to take it steady with him but must surely recognise that he could be a real thorn in the side for opponents as an impact substitute. He offers a genuine attacking threat and I think in the league, he'll have more chances from the bench.

Arizona State basketball is expected to struggle in Randy Bennett's first year as head coach.
The Big 12 media says so. In the Monster Energy Big 12 Men's Basketball Media Preseason Poll, Big 12 media members picked the Sun Devils to rank just 12th out of 16 in the conference for the 2026-27 season.
This comes after a season where ASU went for a third straight campaign of not making the NCAA Tournament. They have not been past the first round of the NCAA Tournament in any of the previous 12 seasons.
Bennett comes into the fold after leading the Saint Mary's Gaels to five straight NCAA Tournament appearances. They made it out of the first round of those five NCAA Tournaments three times.
To make matters worse for ASU, the Arizona Wildcats rank No. 1 in the media poll. UA won the regular-season Big 12 championship and the Big 12 Tournament championship last season.

Everton manager David Moyes omitted Manchester City loanee Jack Grealish from his matchday squad for a disciplinary infraction before watching his side claim a 3-1 victory over Newcastle United on Thursday night. Despite the England winger's absence at the Hill ***** inson Stadium, the Merseysiders comfortably advanced into the last eight of the Carabao Cup.
According to talkSPORT, the 31-year-old playmaker was axed from the fourth-round tie following an unauthorised absence from a recent Everton training session. Grealish had previously missed last weekend's 2-0 Premier League defeat against ***** nal, though club officials attributed that initial omission to illness. On the pitch, goals from James Garner, Hayden Hackney and Thierno Barry rendered Dan Burn's late consolation for the visitors meaningless.
