Wynonna Judd is opening up about the surprising way she found out that her family was growing.
Speaking to People about her upcoming album, The Hard Truth — which she said is inspired by her strained relationship with her daughter, Grace Kelley — the country singer, 62, revealed she learned about 30-year-old Kelley's reported pregnancy through a TikTok video.
While Judd is already a grandmother to Kelley's 4-year-old daughter, Kaliyah, whom Judd and her husband of 12 years, Cactus Moser, legally adopted and are raising, she said she found out she might have another grandchild on the way after Us Weekly broke the news in August that Kelley, who is currently serving a 15-month sentence in a Virginia jail, requested a since-denied temporary release to give birth at a hospital.
"Isn't that crazy? I laid there, and I was shocked, just like you would imagine. And I cried and cried and cried and cried, because I have another grandbaby, I think," Judd, who is also a grandmother to Hazel, 2, via her son, Elijah Kelley, revealed.

SZA and Vans are inviting the public to step into the world of the soon-to-launch, and aptly named, Vansza collection with an elaborate New York Fashion Week experience.
While the collection doesn't launch until Oct. 22, the Vansza activation will open its doors at 260 Bowery significantly sooner. Visitors will have the chance to take in the unique experience starting Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. local time. Following an 8 p.m. shutdown that night, the Vansza world will restart on Sept. 11 at 12 p.m. local time before wrapping for good at 4 p.m.
In a statement shared with Complex, SZA teased the forthcoming collection, which features footwear and apparel, as "a reflection" of how she lives and what inspires her on a daily basis.

"I wanted to create pieces that feel comfortable, functional, and expressive, whether you're on a trail, in the city, or discovering something new about yourself," the seven-time Grammy winner said. "Working with Vans gave me the freedom to explore ideas rooted in creativity, curiosity, and play, and my hope is that people feel inspired to step outside their comfort zone, trust their instincts, and have fun making something uniquely their own."

In a new interview with The New York Times, the acclaimed author reflected on the loss of her son and her fight to get answers.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie no longer feels that Nigeria is "home."
The acclaimed author has been vocal about the changes she's experienced since her 21-month-old son died following a medical emergency. After sharing a social media post alleging medical negligence by the hospital over her son's care in June, she's expounding on how losing her son has prompted her to have a different feeling towards her homeland.
"My feelings toward Nigeria have changed," Adichie told The New York Times in a recent interview. When asked if the country still felt like somewhere close to her heart, she offered an even more blunt response.
"I do not want to go back to Nigeria."
