Brian Hickerson, who previously dated actress Hayden Panettiere, found himself in the middle of a police response at a South Carolina bar. A night out with his brother Zach Hickerson turned chaotic, eventually putting both men in police custody and bringing Hayden's death back into the spotlight.
As reported by TMZ, the incident happened Saturday at Wild Wing Cafe in Greenville. Brian and Zach had reportedly spent several hours drinking together before the situation escalated.
Brian eventually left their table toward the back of the bar and went over to speak with other patrons. Things soon became heated. At one point, he allegedly grabbed a stool and threw it backward.
Video obtained by TMZ shows part of the confrontation. Brian appears to be lifted off the ground by someone during an argument. He was then carried outside while a bartender could be heard shouting, "Let him go!"
Police arrived after receiving a report of an "assault." Officers found Brian and Zach involved in an altercation with other people outside the bar. Brian was placed in handcuffs during the confrontation. While officers had him detained, he said, "GPD leaked it when my girlfriend died," apparently referring to Hayden.

The full footage is even uglier.
Nearly three months after Dustin Poirier was arrested for public drunkenness at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, an extended, 28-minute police body-camera video has been released, showing everything that happened after "The Diamond" was placed in handcuffs.
The initial footage showed an intoxicated and highly agitated Poirier confronting Delta employees before challenging the responding officer to a fight. When the officer pulled out his taser, Poirier eventually backed down and allowed himself to be arrested without a physical altercation.
At first, Poirier appeared to calm down and even complimented the officer for how he handled the volatile situation. However, the former interim UFC Lightweight champion's mood quickly shifted as officers transported him through the airport police station.

Dana White hasn't kept his hate for Francis Ngannou private.
Once praising him as the baddest man on the planet, White quickly rescinded those comments and had a complete change of heart toward the Cameroonian. Both men fail to hide their hatred for the other, and rumors surfaced late last year of a previous physical altercation between the two, in which the former UFC heavyweight champion put his hands on the boss. Since then, their bitter feud has grown to an unprecedented extent, making it one of the most intense sagas between fighter and employer in company history.
Dana White having problems with a fighter isn't a new occurrence. He has famously feuded with many of his top stars over the years, but the Francis Ngannou problems run deep. According to White, Ngannou is blacklisted. He even sees the ***** an on the same level as Oscar de la Hoya, a man he has been at odds with for close to a decade.
Discussing his disdain for Ngannou, White turned to problems the fighter has with other promotions, hinting at his underwhelming time competing for the PFL.
"Listen, Ngannou is on my Oscar de la Hoya list," White said. "Look at the history of Francis Ngannou and the other companies he's been with. He's a bad guy, man. He's a bad guy."

Bielik was involved in a physical altercation with a fan as he went to retrieve a ball from the crowd late in the second half.
Hampshire Police were notified of the incident during the match and launched an investigation immediately afterwards.
"We can confirm that we are investigating an incident in which a teenage boy was reportedly the victim of a common ***** ault during the football match at Fratton Park. Our enquiries are ongoing," the police said.
Several Portsmouth supporters made gestures that indicated they believed the fan had been grabbed by the throat.

The first half of Fluminense vs. Vasco this Saturday (5) in the Brasileirão had more confusion than good football.
There were plenty of cards for heavier challenges, altercations involving people who weren't even on the pitch, and lots of complaints.
And one of the main figures was referee Davi de Oliveira Lacerda from Espírito Santo, who had an unusual moment with Canobbio.
Find out what happened below.
Vasco had total control of the action for much of the first half.

What exactly happened in England this afternoon? During the match between Portsmouth FC and Cardiff City, away defender Krystian Bielik and a fan got into an altercation.
With the home side leading 2-0, the young fan tried to stop Bielik from taking a quick throw-in. The Pole clearly did not take kindly to that. He grabbed the home fan by the neck before the boy's family members stepped in and calmed the situation down.
The crazy part: according to media reports, the family, including the young fan, was then thrown out of the stadium. Bielik, meanwhile, did not even receive a card for his action. However, the Pole had already been booked earlier.

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Keion White has opened up about the difficult recovery from a gunshot wound to his right ankle.
White was shot during an altercation at a San Francisco nightclub in the early hours after NFL Super Bowl 60. The injury fractured his talus bone and required surgery, with doctors inserting two screws into his ankle.
"It's different because it's trauma instead of just, like, breaking an ankle with a sports-related injury," White said, via The Athletic. "When you hurt yourself in football, there's a protocol for **** near everything."
Then he said, "Football players don't just get shot every day," while mentioning, "I mean, I guess they do on this team," referring to the incident involving Ricky Pearsall.

Former Fox Sports ****** yst Mark Sanchez has plead guilty to charges relating to an altercation from last fall, according to Indiana court records. Sanchez, who was facing three misdemeanors and a felony battery charge, filed a motion for a guilty plea on Thursday.
In October, Sanchez was stabbed in Indianapolis after allegedly sparking an altercation with a truck driver while intoxicated. He was initially charged with three misdemeanors — battery, unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication — and later charged with a felony for battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
It is unclear which of the charges Sanchez is pleading guilty to. Sanchez's attorneys are reportedly requesting that his sentencing hearing take place on Nov. 9 or Nov. 16 if his plea is accepted, per multiple reports.
Sanchez's jury trial was originally set for March 12, but it was rescheduled four different times, most recently to Sept. 8.
Sanchez, a former New York Jets quarterback-turned-analyst, was fired by Fox a month after the incident.

Transformers director Michael Bay recently revealed that he spoke with original franchise star Shia LaBeouf earlier this year. However, their conversation did not touch on the actor's legal troubles. LaBeouf was arrested in New Orleans on February 17 following a confrontation during Mardi Gras. He was charged with three counts after allegedly punching two men outside a French Quarter bar.
Bay, who directed LaBeouf in three Transformers movies, told TMZ that he last communicated with LaBeouf roughly six months ago. The 61-year-old said, "He called me, and this was a very nice call he gave. He said he went on the Transformers Universal ride with his daughter."
Bay said LaBeouf told him he had finally watched their movies through his daughter's eyes and cried. LaBeouf had never told his daughter that he appeared in the films, but she was drawn to the Transformers ride. Bay called the experience a "great story." LaBeouf, who played the lead character, Sam Witwicky, shares a four-year-old daughter, Isabel, with The Odyssey actress Mia Goth.
Bay also revealed that he has not checked in with the actor since their previous conversation. However, he added, "He's a great guy, and he's a great actor. I had an amazing time working with him, and I think he's a very good person."
The New Orleans Police Department confirmed that officers were called to the Royal Street Inn and Bar in Faubourg Marigny following an alleged altercation involving LaBeouf. Court documents say a manager tried to escort him out, but the actor allegedly attempted to hit. LaBeouf then allegedly punched a male patron who stepped in to help the manager.

One big moment from the game was the altercation between Reese and Courtney Williams. During the second quarter with just under six minutes remaining, Williams tried to **** the ball from Reese. The contact led to a small scuffle, after which the referee blew the whistle.
Napheesa Collier and the referee stepped in to prevent the situation from escalating. But that couldn't stop Reese from firing off some heated words at the Lynx star. Fans gave their verdict on the exchange.

Usman Nurmagomedov is never going to apologize for caring about his brother's well-being, but that doesn't mean he was trying to attack his opponent at UFC Shanghai.
Song Yadong scored the biggest win of his career on Saturday when he blasted Umar Nurmagomedov with a perfectly timed uppercut that sent the Russian crashing to the canvas to end the fight. Immediately after the fight was stopped, Usman jumped into the cage to check on his brother and Song ended up colliding with him as he ran around the cage to celebrate his victory.
The brief physical altercation led many to speculate that Usman actually tried hitting Song with an elbow strike after running into each other, but the reigning PFL lightweight champion was quick to deny that allegation while addressing the incident on social media.
"People are making such a huge tragedy out of this, they should just calm down," Nurmagomedov wrote on Instagram (Russian-to-English translation via Red Corner MMA). "There are things far worse. You don't have to think for long, just look at what is happening in the world.
"And regarding the claims that I supposedly wanted to hit his opponent, if I had wanted to, I would have hit him."

Royce White followed Enes Kanter's example and attended an Indiana Fever game. He took it one step further, turning up in a wig to watch the clash.
Royce White has been one of the former NBA players who have declared themselves for the 2027 WNBA Draft. The league has unequivocally denied the possibility of them being drafted.
Recently, Enes Kanter turned up at an Indiana Fever game and it didn't go well. Natasha Cloud got into a heated altercation with him. Royce White seems to have decided it was his turn to show up, too.
While no one fought with him this time, White turned up for the Fever game in a blonde wig with long hair. Naturally, the video went viral.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was asked about starting running back Josh Jacobs' standing with the club, following Thursday's news that Jacobs was officially being charged with battery and criminal damage to property, after the Packers' win on Friday against the Arizona Cardinals. He didn't leave any grey area in his response: "I fully anticipate him being a member of our team."
Green Bay is standing by Jacobs, at least for now. In Brown County's report on the Jacobs charges, they state that a video was captured via a security system at Jacobs' residence. According to the report, Jacobs threw an unnamed woman, described in the report as his girlfriend, on the ground, leaving "observed redness" on the woman's face and neck. She also was left with a ******* p on her head, per the report.
Brown County stated that the video, among other things, includes "the altercation" that took place in the garage, confirming the unnamed woman's claims to police, as well as Jacobs taking the unnamed woman's phone once she was on the floor of the garage.
Jacobs was not given a "domestic violence enhancer" on his charges, in part because of the state's specific requirements for the label "domestic violence." To receive a domestic violence label on a charge in Wisconsin, a victim must have either previously or currently been married to, living with or have a child with the perpetrator. The presumption here is that the victim did not live with Jacobs, therefor Jacobs cannot receive the domestic violence enhancer, despite the victim being described as his girlfriend in the police report.
It is expected that Jacobs will receive probation and enter a batterers intervention program, if found guilty, based on the precedent of previous cases with similar details in the state of Wisconsin. Generally, the NFL punishes domestic violence cases with a five- to six-game suspension, but the question now is whether the Packers believe a suspension would be applied to the 2026 season or the 2027 season, if Jacobs is found guilty in-season.

The Green Bay Packers remain in limbo regarding Josh Jacobs' status as the NFL determines whether he will face any disciplinary action. Jacobs was arrested in May following a reported physical altercation with his girlfriend and initially faced five charges. Those charges have since been reduced to two misdemeanors: battery and criminal damage to property.
The newly released police report offers additional details about the May incident involving Josh Jacobs and his girlfriend. The document alleges that the Packers running back was involved in a physical confrontation that ended with him throwing his girlfriend to the ground.
"Jacobs grabbed her and threw her to the ground and she struck her head, suffering an injury. Jacobs then took her phone from her while she was on the ground. ANM laid on the ground for a while and then struggled to walk back into the house," according to Matt Schneidman's post on X (formerly Twitter).
Packers Josh Jacobs (8) participates in mandatory minicamp Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Don Hutson Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Packers running back remains available to Green Bay for the time being, with no NFL discipline handed down yet. However, a suspension remains possible as the league reviews the situation, particularly now that details from the incident report have become public. Until a decision is made, Jacobs can continue practicing and appearing in Green Bay's preseason games.

Caitlin Clark has faced more than her share of on-court altercations with both players and officials, which has led to even the league in general getting plenty of backlash. In a recent face-off against the Wings, Clark and Paige Bueckers had an exchange, which got mixed reactions from fans.
Bueckers tried to purposefully foul Clark, not just once but twice which did not catch the attention of the officials. After the second attempt, Clark could be seen pulling her arm back forcefully which led to Bueckers yelling at her, telling her to calm down.
While the exchange was considered pretty hilarious by many fans, others pointed out that Clark has been the victim of such exchanges throughout this campaign. Candace Parker discussed the situation in a recent 'Post Moves' episode, where she admitted that she would have acted the same way Bueckers did.
"The lip-reading experts are saying Paige told Caitlin to calm down. But here's the thing. I kinda blame the refs a little bit because if you don't hear a whistle, and obviously Paige was trying to foul… She's fouling, and then she fouls again, and I feel that a little bit. But at the same time, the refs didn't call the first one. I would've been like Paige too." Candace Parker said.
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) looks to pass around Dallas Wings guard Azzi Fudd (35) and Dallas Wings guard Aziaha James (10) on Saturday, May 9, 2026, during the first half of the Fever's season opener game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Surrey groundsman Lee Fortis, who made headlines last year after a heated confrontation with India head coach Gautam Gambhir at The Oval, has been placed on leave following a separate altercation with an ECB employee.
Fortis was involved in a heated exchange with the employee while preparations were under way for a Hundred fixture. The ECB employee was reportedly left in tears following the incident.
The episode took place at The Oval on July 28, a day before MI London faced London Spirit at the venue, with both teams training at the ground.
Soon afterwards, Surrey chief executive Steve Elworthy was seen having a firm discussion with Fortis on the field. The groundsman subsequently left the playing area and has not returned to The Oval since.
It remains unclear whether Fortis will return, with some sources in the English game reportedly believing that he may not resume his role.
Fortis is a well-known figure around The Oval and attracted significant attention last year after an argument with Gambhir during India's Test against England.
The disagreement centred on the condition of the square, with Gambhir telling Fortis: "You're just a groundsman, nothing beyond that."
India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak subsequently described Fortis as "arrogant".
Fortis has served as The Oval's head groundsman since 2012, taking up the role at the age of 30. He has since established himself as one of the leading groundsmen in English cricket, winning the ECB's Grounds Manager of the Year award three consecutive times from 2022 to 2024.
During that period, Surrey also won three successive County Championship **** les.
The latest incident has now left one of English cricket's most recognisable groundsmen, who stands around 6ft 10in tall, away from The Oval while the circumstances surrounding his absence remain unclear.

Los Angeles Sparks center Cameron Brink took direct aim at former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom, calling him a "stupid piece of s***" over his recent controversies.
Kanter Freedom has been on a campaign centered around transgender athletes, claiming that women's sports are under attack.
He and Royce White, another former NBA player, declared themselves for the 2027 WNBA Draft.
Brink, before the Sparks played against the Atlanta Dream, was asked about Kanter Freedom's appearance at a WNBA game after declaring for the WNBA draft and wearing a shirt that read "woman noun. adult human female."
He eventually got into an altercation with Sky guard Natasha Cloud, which led to his ejection from the game and a ban from all Chicago Sky games.

The misdemeanor charges against Packers running back Josh Jacobs arise from a domestic incident. And a portion of the incident apparently was captured by the surveillance system at Jacobs's house.
Via the incident report posted by Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, "Jacobs grabbed [the victim] and threw her to the ground and she struck her head, suffering an injury. Jacobs then took her phone from her while she was on the ground. [She] laid on the ground for a while and then struggled to walk back into the house." The incident report strongly suggests that this altercation appears on the video.
As everyone learned nearly 12 years ago in the Ray Rice case, if video exists the video eventually will emerge. And seeing the video will spark a much stronger action than knowing the video exists.
It could be enough to prompt the NFL to place Jacobs on paid leave, even though the charges are misdemeanors and not felonies. Depending on the specific content of the video, the Packers could also release him.
For now, the Packers have issued a predictably perfunctory statement.

Former NBA player Enes Kanter is making the media rounds after a very public display at a recent WNBA game.
Kanter was ejected from a recent game between the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever after getting in a verbal altercation with the Sky's Natasha Cloud. He was wearing a shirt that featured a definition of the term "woman" and seemed to be instigating the situation. He is now trying to make his overall intentions clear.
Kanter appeared on "Mornings with Maria" on Fox Business on Thursday and was asked how he would respond to critics who claim he is doing all this simply for attention. He was not happy about that particular criticism.
"I want to directly talk to America," Kanter began. "Many people think that I do this for attention. I have one message for you: Shame on you. I'm here to protect women. I'm here to support your little daughters and care about the next generation. And I'm here to stand with American values. If anyone thinks that I do this for attention please come say that to my face. Shame on you."
Kanter recently made headlines after he said he would declare himself a woman and enter the WNBA Draft. Then came his public display at the Sky game. The team has since banned him from the arena.

Enes Kanter Freedom's battle with the WNBA rolls on after the former NBA center was ejected from Sunday night's Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky matchup following a confrontation with Chicago guard Natasha Cloud.
Kanter Freedom was sitting courtside wearing a shirt reading "WOMAN noun. adult human female." Late in the third quarter, Cloud could be seen shouting at the self-proclaimed "human rights activist," while Kanter responded by stretching out his arms and taking a step toward the court before being removed by security.
On Wednesday, Fox News reported that Kanter Freedom, who has since been banned from attending Sky home games, has sent a letter to the WNBA, requesting, among other things, "an explanation for the basis of my ejection" and a full refund for the cost of his tickets.
Kanter Freedom claims Cloud was the instigator for the incident, saying the WNBA veteran "turned from the court, approached my seat, and began yelling, cursing, and pointing in my direction."
"According to the WNBA, any physical or verbal altercation with a fan is treated as conduct detrimental to the game," Kanter Freedom wrote. "The WNBA Office holds the authority to issue heavy fines or multi-game suspensions for players who cross the line into berating or cursing at spectators. Yet Ms. Cloud's conduct of yelling, swearing, and pointing at a spectator (me) appears to have escaped any accountability and was, in fact, defended by her coach."

CHICAGO — Chicago Sky owner Michael Alter isn't backing down after the WNBA team ejected former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom from Sunday's game against the Indiana Fever.
Kanter Freedom attended the game at Wintrust Arena and sat courtside wearing a shirt that read, "WOMAN noun. adult human female." During a verbal exchange with Sky guard Natasha Cloud in the third quarter, Kanter Freedom stepped over photographers to encroach on the baseline during a dead ball.
A combination of team and arena security immediately removed Kanter from the court and eventually from the arena. Alter also immediately left his courtside seat during the altercation and crossed the court to confront Kanter Freedom, visibly instructing him to leave the vicinity and encouraging security to intervene.
It was the latest stunt pulled by the former player as he continues to insert himself into the debate surrounding the inclusion of transgender women in women's sports. Kanter Freedom previously declared for the WNBA draft, causing the league to deny his eligibility earlier this week.
In a conversation Tuesday with local media, Alter said Kanter Freedom will be banned from Sky games at Wintrust Arena for the foreseeable future unless "he's able to prove to our satisfaction that he is able to abide by our rules without being a potential threat."

Enes Kanter Freedom is banned from Chicago Sky games at Wintrust Arena.
In a rare interview with Chicago-based media members, Chicago Sky owner Michael Alter denounced the actions of former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom, who attended Sunday's game at Wintrust Arena between the Sky and Indiana Fever.
"It was pretty clear to us that his purpose of coming here was trying to be provocative and just see how much attention he could get," Alter told reporters.
Freedom was removed from the third quarter of Sunday's game after an altercation with Sky guard Natasha Cloud. Weeks before Sunday's game, Freedom, an 11-year NBA veteran who last played in 2022, declared for the 2027 WNBA draft, claiming he identifies as a woman.
Alter said Freedom is not allowed back into Wintrust Arena "unless sometime in the future, he's able to prove to us that he's able to abide by our rules without being a potential threat." A Sky spokesperson confirmed Freedom is banned indefinitely from the team's home games.

NEW DELHI: Sri Lanka spinner Prabath Jayasuriya has become the third player to be officially sanctioned during the ongoing second Test against India in Colombo, adding another disciplinary flashpoint to a match that had already been marred by the ugly confrontation between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Asitha Fernando.
Jayasuriya was on Tuesday handed an official reprimand and one demerit point for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the second day's play of the Colombo Test.
The left-arm spinner was found to have breached Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to the "abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an International Match".
It was Jayasuriya's first offence in a 24-month period, the ICC said.
"Sri Lanka spinner Prabath Jayasuriya has become the third player to be sanctioned for an incident during the second ICC World Test Championship contest against India after he was hit with an official reprimand following his dismissal in his side's first innings," the ICC said in a statement.
The incident involving Jayasuriya occurred with the final delivery of the second day's play on Monday.
The Sri Lanka spinner was adjudged leg-before wicket off India spinner Manav Suthar. As he walked back towards the dressing room following his dismissal, Jayasuriya struck the boundary wedges with his bat.
The action led to the charge under Article 2.2, with Jayasuriya subsequently admitting the offence and accepting the sanction proposed by Andy Pycroft of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees.
As Jayasuriya accepted the sanction, there was no need for a formal hearing. The charge was levelled by on-field umpires Ahsan Raza and Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, third umpire Rod Tucker and fourth umpire Prageeth Rambukwella.
The one demerit point has now been added to Jayasuriya's disciplinary record.
Jayasuriya's sanction comes after Jaiswal and Fernando were both punished following their heated exchange on the opening day of the Colombo Test.
The incident took place in the 17th over of India's first innings after Fernando dismissed Jaiswal. The India opener walked towards the Sri Lanka pacer and the two exchanged words before Fernando moved his head towards Jaiswal.
Jaiswal then leaned in, resulting in their heads making contact.

Both players were subsequently fined 25 per cent of their match fees and handed one demerit point each for the altercation.
With Jayasuriya now joining Jaiswal and Fernando on the ICC's disciplinary list, three players have been sanctioned during the same Test.

Caitlin Clark gave a very typical Caitlin Clark answer when asked about the incident after the Indiana Fever's win over the Chicago Sky.
Caitlin Clark put on a show against the Chicago Sky, dropping 37 points and burying eight three-pointers to lead the Indiana Fever to a 113-90 blowout.
Before tipoff, she caught up courtside with soccer icon Robert Lewandowski, sharing a warm exchange and posing for photos that blew up online.
Ever since entering the league, Clark has been under an intense spotlight, dealing with media noise, physicality on the court, and non-stop hot takes. Yet she has always managed to handle it with complete class, brushing off drama and keeping her focus strictly on basketball every time she steps in front of a microphone.
And that was no different after the Natasha Cloud and Enes Kanter altercation.

Everyone was focused on Natasha Cloud and Enes Kanter during the Indiana Fever vs Chicago Sky, but very few noticed the reaction of Caitlin Clark.
The Indiana Fever cruised to a 113–90 victory over the Chicago Sky, but late-game drama overshadowed what went on on the court.
Former NBA center Enes Kanter was ejected from his courtside seat during the third quarter after an altercation with Sky guard Natasha Cloud. Cloud confronted Kanter, who was wearing a shirt referencing anti-trans commentary, prompting security and players to separate them before Kanter was escorted out.
Basketball-wise, Caitlin Clark put on an absolute clinic, dropping 37 points while sinking a career-high eight three-pointers, dishing out 10 ***** ists, and grabbing three rebounds to seal the dominant win.
Caitlin Clark likes to stay away from negative news, but she couldn't help but let off a reaction after the Enes Kanter and Natasha Cloud altercation.
