Days after he was reportedly kicked out of his band, Slipknot after 30 years, his ex-fiancée, Kelly Osbourne, shared an angry message directed at him on Instagram.
Taking to her Stories, Kelly — who shares her three-year-old son, Sidney, with her ex — wrote a series of posts aimed at the DJ and keyboard player.

Is the "Raw after SummerSlam" a thing? We all know WWE makes a big deal out of the first "Raw after 'Mania," usually setting up a few surprises to mark the occasion. For this year's post-SummerSlam show, they'd already promised at least one big return (quite literally). But wouldn't you know it, there wound up being a few other twists along the road as the show rolled through Des Moines, Iowa.
Here's what went down on this week's installment of pro-wrestling's longest-running show.
Tonight's show kicked off with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion making his way to the ring to bask in the glory of Sunday night's superb victory over Seth Rollins. Of all the catchers the Rays have traded for in recent years, Liam Hicks stands out because he is a clear upgrade. True, the 27-year-old Toronto native has kicked around since he was drafted by the Rangers in the ninth round of the 2021 draft out of Arkansas State. True, he joins Tampa Bay after hitting only one homer and three extra-base hits in his final 28 games – though he batted .292 – with Miami since being activated from the injured list, which he was placed on due to lower back strain in June.
Tampa Bay is Hicks' fourth organization in six seasons of professional baseball. The lefthanded hitter may stay put for a while. Breaking through offensively the way he has this season -- .282, 14 homers and 62 RBI -- combined with team control through 2030 are reasons why Rays' fans should feel good. Maybe a sigh of relief is in order as well given how the position has chronically underperformed. A larger sigh will be in order when Hicks rediscovers his power stroke again.
In acquiring Hicks, who is making $790,000 this season, the Rays sent three prospects to Miami: 24-year-old infielder Brayden Taylor (Rays' No. 16), 23-year-old RHP Jacob Kisting (No. 26) and 21-year-old shortstop Adrian Santana (No. 27). It marked the second straight day ahead of the trade deadline that Tampa Bay acquired a player for a trio of prospects, neither of whom was ranked higher than No. 15 in their system. The Rays acquired Freddy Peralta from the Mets on Sunday afternoon.
Hicks, who has struck out only 39 times in 354 at-bats and is joining a team that has fanned the fewest times in MLB, replaces Hunter Feduccia (dealt to the Dodgers) as the lefty in the catching platoon with Nick Fortes. He could also spell Jonathan Aranda at first base and give DH Yandy Diaz a break from time to time. USC fall camp is officially underway! After Big Ten Media Days in Chicago last week, the Trojans kicked off fall camp on Friday in preparation for the 2026 season.
This marks USC's first camp in the new Bloom Football Performance Center, which just recently opened. In his first press conference of fall camp Saturday, head coach Lincoln Riley had extremely positive things to see about the facility.
"This building is magical," Riley said. "This is a significant step for our program.
"The difference it is in how we operate on a day-to-day basis, from what we've done here for the last several years—it's hard to explain.
"I'm proud and thankful to the university for making this happen. These first few days in here have been a little bit of a dream."

When new Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy kicked off training camp this year, he noted there would not be any live tackling at practice. This immediately brought up the idea that the beloved "backs-on-backers" drill would be gone. It had been a staple and fan favorite under former head coach Mike Tomlin.
But on Monday, before the team's first padded practice, McCarthy made a little pivot and said that he is very much a backs-on-backers guy, meaning the drill is saved. In addition to the Steelers first padded practice being on Monday, the Steelers are also welcoming the Pat McAfee Show to Chuck Noll Field at Saint Vincent College. The Steelers are less than two weeks to their first preseason game and just over a month to the start of the regular season.

The Padres dropped two out of three to the lowly Kansas City Royals and then went to Atlanta where they dropped three out of four to the Braves. For a team needing to play well enough to convince team ownership to invest at the Trade Deadline it was not the return to play anyone wanted to see. San Diego then went to Miami and the Padres pulled off a three-game sweep of the Marlins before returning home to host the Colorado Rockies.
In this week's Padres Reacts Survey, Gaslamp Ball wanted to know if San Diego had done enough to sway the minds of the Friar Faithful about what they should do at the trade deadline. Well… the answer was a resounding "No!" To be fair, we do not know if those who responded wanted to buy, sell or stand pat but whatever their stance was they are unchanged.
The question was asked prior to the results of the homestand so if asked again on the eve of the MLB Trade Deadline the response might be different. The Padres have won eight of their last nine games and have pulled within a game of the final Wild Card spot in the National League. The offense has been much improved from where it was to start the season, and the pitching has been cobbled together with the Pitching Chaos approach. This may or may not be the team to challenge the Los Angeles Dodgers in for the NL crown, but that may be a question for next week depending on what happens by 3 p.m. PST on Monday.

If you are just waking up, where have you been? The Braves kicked off their postseason by adding righty outfielder Lane Thomas from the Royals. If you had been reading us all this time, you may have had an inkling.

From Lane Thomas's Fangraphs profile, he appears to have peaked in 2023. He hit 28 home runs with the Nationals that year and compiled 2.9 WAR. But he hasn't reached those heights since. Lane suffered a left MCL injury in April 2024 before being shipped to the Guardians. In 2025, he suffered a bone bruise before serving two IL stints for plantar fasciitis. However, he was able to keep away from scooters long enough to come back and have a league average offensive season in the outfield for Kansas City. Now, I feel you may not be sold on Thomas in the same way that the Braves were. Nevertheless, if Atlanta employs him in the correct manner, he becomes a very useful piece.
A brief aside to mention a couple of things. Shoutout to Ivan to get me started on this, and we'll hopefully catch some typos later if necessary. Also, thanks to whomever leaked this trade info before 10 pm so we had time to put something together for Sunday morning.

JENNERSTOWN — A duo of Somerset County drivers earned wins, while two other competitors saw victory lane for the first time in years, Saturday, Aug. 1 at Jennerstown Speedway.
The night kicked off with a dandy in the Somerset Trust Fast 4s. Bradley Marsh raced between the leaders and took the advantage at the green flag. He led the first five laps of the 15-lap feature, but Seth Nedrow dashed past Marsh for the lead with nine to go.

Axel Perez kicked a 21-yard field goal on the final play to push the Tulsa Oilers to a 31-28 victory over the Jacksonville Sharks in the opening game of the Indoor Football League playoffs.
The Oilers will now face the winner of the Orlando Pirates-Green Bay Blizzard game in the Eastern Conference finals next week.
TJ Edwards II ran for two touchdowns and threw for 132 yards and another TD to lead the Oilers.

Last week, Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham kicked open the door to a very public discussion around transgender athlete participation in women's sports.
It's a conversation that has been happening in earnest across league social media, t-shirt slogans, and promotions. However, after Cunningham voiced a desire to "protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men," it was now an issue that the WNBA needed to face head-on, whether it wanted to or not.
Conservative media and provocateurs have seized the opportunity to highlight not only Cunningham's comments but also all the reactions (or non-reactions) to them. That includes an incident during the Fever's game against the Seattle Storm on July 28, in which a co-owner of the Storm approached two girls with signs supporting Cunningham and allegedly called them "f*cking insane."

Successfully stopping Gianni Infantino's FIFA plan to sell World Cup profits to private investors was the first half of a high-stakes game in global soccer politics.

The 47th Pan-Mass Challenge kicked off this weekend, bringing together 6,500 cyclists across Massachusetts for a two-day, 177-mile bike-a-thon to raise money for cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Participants are aiming to raise $79 million, with 100% of every rider-raised dollar going directly to Dana-Farber for the 20th consecutive year.
PMC raised $78 million last year.
Riders began their journey Saturday morning from starting points in Worcester and Wellesley. The event features 14 one-and two-day routes across the state, ranging from 25 to 177 miles.

It is Friday night. The Orioles kicked off their weekend homestand with a 6-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Down 4-2 heading into the bottom of the seventh, they rallied to score four runs on a double by Christian Encarnacion-Strand and a triple by Gunnar Henderson.

July 30 (Reuters) - Britain's IG Group said on Thursday it has agreed to acquire U.S. daily fantasy sports and prediction markets operator Underdog for up to $1.3 billion, deepening its push into the fast-growing U.S. retail trading market.
The deal includes an upfront consideration based on an enterprise value of about $1.1 billion and an earnout of about $200 million for Underdog shareholders, IG said.
"The acquisition of Underdog establishes IG as a leader in U.S. prediction markets, one of the most significant opportunities across trading and entertainment, and accelerates our growth in the world's largest and fastest-growing retail trading market," IG CEO Breon Corcoran said.
Prediction markets, which let users trade contracts tied to real-world outcomes, have grown quickly in the United States, though the sector has also drawn scrutiny from lawmakers and regulators.
IG said the acquisition, together with a proposed redomicile, marks the culmination of a strategic review the company kicked off in March.

A fundraising weekend has kicked off in memory of 20-year-old cricketer Josh Baker, who died suddenly in 2024.
For the second year running, Blue for Bakes is being hosted at Worcestershire County Cricket Club, starting at New Road as the Men's Rapids take on Middlesex.
The weekend will culminate at Astwood Bank Cricket Club on Sunday as the Women's Rapids take on Kent at the Josh Baker Oval.
"It's humbling," Josh's father, Paul Baker, told BBC Hereford and Worcester, adding: "It seems to be bigger and better than last year so we're nervously looking forward to the weekend."
Visitors are encouraged to wear blue in tribute to Josh.

The Chicago Bears officially kicked off training camp with their first practice on Wednesday morning. While it was a shorter, lighter workout to open the summer, there were still plenty of notable headlines and standouts.
It wasn't an eventful first day of practice as the Bears conducted a light workout that didn't even last 90 minutes, but it's key to ramping up before pads come on next week. There wasn't a lot of notable takeaways, but there were updates amid position battles at nickel cornerback, left tackle, center and punt returner, as well as some early standouts on offense.

Denver Broncos veterans reported for training camp on Tuesday, and outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper was among them. The team kicked off camp with a light acclimation practice on Wednesday, with Cooper participating.
Cooper, 28, is facing five charges related to a felony **** ault case, and he was excused from minicamp last month. Cooper has since completed a therapy, mental health and overall wellness program, and coach Sean Payton said that the pass rusher will participate in training camp.
"We're staying the course with league protocol, club protocol, relative to what we're advised to do," Payton said after Wednesday's acclimation practice. "He's been fantastic working away from the building, and we'll continue to [stay the course] and monitor it. We're supportive, and yet, very much aware of the seriousness of these type of things. ... There's a schedule and a course to this, and that's what we have to follow."
Payton later indicated that the situation could be resolved "sooner than later." That was an interesting comment because Cooper has an arraignment date set for Aug. 31, which is after camp and all of preseason. If the case eventually goes to trial, it could be months away from a resolution.
Cooper could face a suspension from the NFL, but the league likely won't make a decision until after the legal process has completed. The Broncos will allow Cooper to practice while the legal process plays out.

The White Sox (55-51) waited until the bottom of the ninth to score any runs, and ironically ended up outhitting the Yankees (61-46), but they couldn't make the full comeback and fell just short, 3-2. Chase Meidroth saved the day from a 3-0 shutout, mashing a homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, but the bats were mostly quiet and couldn't provide run support for their pitching staff.

The lefty started the game on a high note by striking out the side in the top of the first — the first three of seven Ks during today's outing — but we can't say the same about the next frame.
Back-to-back singles from Jasson Domínguez and Trent Grisham led off the second frame and kicked off their three-run rally. Kay uncorked a wild pitch to move both runners into scoring position before Anthony Volpe lined a double off the top of the wall in right, scoring Domínguez. GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers are waiving their franchise record holder for longest field goal made in a game.

Just before last weekend kicked off, Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and SK Hynix (NASDAQ: SKHY) finished some business, signing the largest memory deal in history. As part of the partnership, SK Hynix's subsidiary, SK Telecom, will build a 2-gigawatt AI cloud data center in Korea using Nvidia's Vera Rubin Platform. Meanwhile, SK Hynix will supply Nvidia with high bandwidth memory (HBM) going forward, while the two companies will work together to co-develop future generations of AI memory.
One of the biggest bottlenecks in the AI infrastructure build-out right now is memory, especially HBM. To reduce latency and improve power efficiency, graphics processing units (GPUs) and other AI chips need to be packaged with HBM. Meanwhile, the need for HBM is only growing as inference increasingly focuses on fast memory access rather than raw compute power.

However, increasing HBM capacity is a challenge. It requires access to the same EUV (extreme ultraviolet lithography) machines that manufacture GPUs and other advanced logic chips, and the supply for these machines is limited, since the only company that makes them is ASML. At the same time, HBM needs upward of 3 times the wafer capacity of regular DRAM, adding another challenge if one wants to rapidly increase supply. HBM also must be manufactured in massive clean rooms, which can take years to build.
My prediction is that this deal will play an important role in both stocks being big winners over the next few years.
