Revenue reached BRL 3.6 billion, up 2.5% year over year, but the more telling number sat inside the credit line, where the portfolio more than doubled to BRL 3.8 billion. Amanda Ghost's latest filing in her defamation case against the actress, 46, includes alleged correspondence between Wilson and publicist Melissa Nathan that Ghost claims shows them discussing the creation of anonymous websites about her, according to documents filed Aug. 25 in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by USA TODAY.
Wilson's attorney, Allyson Thompson, addressed the allegations in a statement to USA TODAY, calling Ghost's motion "by its very nature, one-sided and thus incomplete. This case is in active litigation and involves thousands of documents and a large number of witnesses."
"There are two sides to every story and Ms. Wilson looks forward to telling her side at the trial in this disputed matter. There are key defense issues that will be addressed in due course," Thompson concluded.

Busy Phillips, 47, revealed she was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor in February, telling People that she's experienced "the weirdest six months of my life" after undergoing two surgeries.
"I'm grateful that I'm alive," Phillips shared as she recovers from a grade 2 oligodendroglioma, which is found in only 1,100 to 1,300 people per year in the U.S., according to her neuro-oncologist, Dr. Alexandra Miller.
Phillips noted that after one of her trusted sources, Dr. Orrin Devinsky, a neurologist at NYU Langone, reviewed her MRI, the reality of her condition set in.
"'This is a real tumor, and it's inside your brain. And, Busy, it's got to come out,'" Philipps recalled Devinsky telling her on the phone. "I was hyperventilating and trying to breathe."
After her surgery on March 2, a mass in her brain measuring 2.6 centimeters was removed and biopsied.

With fall camp winding down and a hyper-challenging date with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Lambeau Field fast approaching, I want to take stock of my expectations for the 2026 Wisconsin Badgers by hitting some areas of both optimism and pessimism for this squad.
Before launching in, I want to be very clear that I believe this to be a better product on both sides of the ball than the 4-8 one we saw in 2025 (and with an easier schedule). No, that's not the highest bar, but it's a good place to start. The big question will be: how much better? I don't have a great grip on that right now, so I'll focus on some big themes to try and move us closer to the correct answer.
I Am Excited About The Cornerbacks
I've been telling anyone who will listen to me how much better I like the cornerbacks unit than the one the Badgers had in 2025, right down to the badly needed new coaching blood injected in the form of Robert Steeples.
The room is significantly deeper, faster, taller, and both more talented/more violent than last season's pedestrian version, with legitimate competition all over the place.

Howie Mandel says his wife, Terry Mandel, eventually reached a point where living around his obsessive-compulsive disorder and intense fear of germs had become too much.
During the August 24 episode of Hoda Kotb's Joy 101 podcast, the 70-year-old comedian recalled Terry telling him she could not continue living that way unless he sought professional help. Her ultimatum eventually sent him to a psychiatrist, where Mandel was diagnosed with OCD in his 40s after experiencing symptoms since childhood.
He gave Kotb several examples of how extensively his rituals affected the household. Mandel said he built a separate ****** e in the backyard where he might stay for a week if one of their children sneezed, and he sometimes required family members to disinfect phones or other objects he considered contaminated.
The conversation also covered a separate crisis decades later. Mandel said his anxiety intensified dramatically during the COVID-19 pandemic and that he began self-medicating in an attempt to sleep and escape his thoughts, eventually reaching a point where Terry sometimes could not wake him.
Mandel told Kotb that his fear of germs is only one manifestation of the OCD symptoms and rituals he has dealt with for much of his life. Although germaphobia became part of his public persona and comedy, he described the reality of living with it in far harsher terms. "It's ****** ," he said.

ANN ARBOR — It's often difficult to wade through "coachspeak," but across the board among coaches and players, the sense is that sophomore quarterback Bryce Underwood has made impressive gains during preseason camp.
Underwood, who started every game as a freshman last year, and the team are going through their final week of camp before game week ahead of the season opener Sept. 5. It will be the public's first look at Underwood since an uneven showing during the one quarter he played in April's spring game.
Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham told BTN during the network's camp stop that he'd grade Underwood an "A-plus" during preseason camp and offensive coordinator Jason Beck has praised his extra effort toward improvement and his willingness to work extra. Quarterbacks coach Koy Detmer echoed those comments during a news conference Aug. 25, but perhaps more telling was cornerbacks coach Jernaro Gilford's answer when asked how much more challenging it has become to defend Underwood these last few weeks in camp.
"You know what? Night and day," Gilford said Tuesday. "From spring ball to now, man, starting fall camp, he's made so many amazing throws, like 'Wow' throws. Had us in awe. He's doing stuff like that. He gonna be all right. And knowing what our defense does to opposing quarterbacks, so to see him make certain throws against us makes us pretty confident in that young man."
