The four-day Fully Loaded at Sea voyage sails from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico beginning Nov. 19
Kreischer says the inaugural trip depleted its vodka supply on the first night, requiring a resupply boat
He promises to set aside $1,000 for children conceived during the cruise
Bert Kreischer has a lot going on and, as usual, he's not exactly taking the quiet route.
The 53-year-old comedian is gearing up for the second voyage of Fully Loaded at Sea, his four-day comedy cruise sailing from Miami to Mexico in November. He's also preparing for the next season of his Netflix series, working toward another comedy special and juggling a schedule that includes a monthlong tour, the New York Food & Wine Festival, a commercial shoot, trips to London and Las Vegas and, naturally, whatever else gets thrown his way.

The Alo Voyage Duffle, an accessory that has previously appeared in Burrow's game-day arrivals, also returns.
The campaign builds on Burrow's ongoing relationship with Alo, which encompasses fashion, athletic performance and recovery. He previously appeared in the brand's Conquer Collection campaign and helped introduce its Alo Runner performance shoe.
"I've always been drawn to pieces that feel refined but effortless," Burrow said in a statement.

Definium Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DFTX) has now delivered a third consecutive positive Phase 3 readout for its LSD-based medication, the second in generalized anxiety disorder. The result puts the company on a viable route toward a potential FDA approval of an LSD-based treatment for generalized anxiety disorder, and considering how closely psychedelic stocks have historically traded on each other's data, the reading carries far more weight than Definium's own ticker.
On September 14, Definium Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DFTX) announced that its drug DT120, an orally disintegrating tablet formulation of LSD, was successful in Panorama, the company's second late-stage anxiety trial. Over 12 weeks, patients who received a 100-microgram dose experienced a 9.8-point decline on the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale, a typical clinical measure, compared to a 4.7-point drop with placebo.
The resulting 5.1-point placebo-adjusted improvement is similar to what the company's first pivotal anxiety trial, Voyage, showed back in August: an 11.6-point improvement versus 6.2 for placebo, a 5.4-point separation that Jefferies called one of the strongest placebo-adjusted efficacy results ever seen in generalized anxiety disorder, and that Stifel simply described as "a clean win."
Psychedelic equities have a history of trading as a group rather than as individual names, and this tendency applies both ways. In February 2026, when Compass Pathways, the sector's other clinical leader developing a psilocybin-based drug for treatment-resistant depression, reported positive late-stage data, shares of Definium Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DFTX), Atai Beckley, GH Research, and Helus Pharma all rose, some by double digits.
That correlation is significant here because Definium's win is an independent validation of the broader therapeutic argument on which Compass and others are betting: a single dose of a classic psychedelic, administered in a controlled clinical setting, can produce lasting improvements in serious mental health conditions via pathways different from existing SSRIs and other standard-of-care drugs.

On September 10, Imperial Petroleum Inc. (NASDAQ:IMPP), a company involved in seaborne transportation of crude oil, dry bulk, and petroleum products, released its second quarter results. With a topline figure of $87.1 million, the company delivered record quarterly revenue, which also resulted in 139.9% year-over-year growth. Imperial's adjusted EBITDA for the second quarter stood at $41.7 million, while the Q2 adjusted net income of $35.3 million exhibited around 163% growth in comparison with Q2 FY25.
Ralf Gosch/Shutterstock.com
Several factors contributed to the second quarter topline growth. A 6.9 vessel rise in the company's average fleet size was the primary growth enabler. Other factors include encouraging dynamics across the drybulk segment, and higher rates for both drybulk and tankers amid the geopolitical uncertainties. Operating income for the quarter jumped to a near-record level of $33.4 million, which translates into a 307.3% growth relative to Q2 FY25. Imperial posted an adjusted EPS of $0.76 for the reported quarter, which almost doubled compared to the same quarter a year prior.
At the back of efficient fleet management, management remained focus on strengthening its financial position. The company ended the quarter with no debt, and its liquidity position also remained resilient. Cash and cash equivalents, including time deposits, increased from $179.1 million at the end of 2025 to $245.2 million as of June 30, 2026. The company added that its cash base had increased further to approximately $260 million as of the September 10 results release.
Certain areas of weakness warrant a closer examination. During the reported quarter, fleet operational utilization went down from 83.1% in prior year's second quarter to 73.5%. There was a substantial increase in some of the underlying operating expenses. For instance, the vessel operating expense stood at $14.4 million compared to $8.4 million during Q2 FY25. This $6 million rise can be attributed to Imperial's larger fleet size. Similarly, the voyage expenses also jumped from $10.7 million in last year's Q2 to $22.1 million for Q2 FY26. The incremental voyage expenses stemmed from higher bunkers' rates, as well as a 58.4% jump in spot days.

On September 10, Tsakos Energy Navigation (NYSE:TEN) reported a first half of 2026 that reads like a fantasy year for a decades-old tanker operator. Net income hit $228 million, more than triple what the company earned over the same six months a year earlier, while diluted EPS climbed to $7.12 from $1.70. Behind those numbers sits a rare combination: a fleet locked into billions in forward earnings, war-driven cargo detours pushing rates higher, and a newbuilding bet that has already paid off before half the ships have even hit the water.
The earnings power came from two directions at once. The average time charter equivalent rate rose 41% to $43,503 a day in the first half, and profit-sharing contracts on nine large vessels brought in $71 million, up from just $10 million a year earlier. Even with six vessels pulled from service for scheduled dry docks, the fleet still ran at 96.5% utilization. Second-quarter results followed the same pattern, with net income of $139.3 million, which included a $38 million gain on ******* et sales, and earnings per share of $4.40 against $0.67 in last year's second quarter.
Tsakos is also sitting on a fleet renewal bet that already worked out. Since the start of 2023, the company has sold 20 tankers averaging 17.3 years old and replaced them with 35 vessels averaging just half a year old. Its 26-ship newbuilding program, contracted for about $3.1 billion, is now valued roughly 30% above that cost, and CEO Nikolas Tsakos said the VLCCs in that order book have nearly doubled in price since they were placed. With $466 million in cash and forward committed earnings of roughly $3.5 billion, management has room to raise its dividend, which already paid out $1.60 per share this year, and is weighing whether to redeem $120 million of 9.25% preferred shares, a move it estimates could add $0.30 to $0.40 to EPS.
That performance came against a backdrop the company would rather not have. President George Saroglou said vessels have been attacked, and seafarers hurt or killed trying to keep global trade moving through the Strait of Hormuz, where a ceasefire unraveled roughly halfway through its planned 60-day run and a US naval presence now tries to manage safe passage. Tsakos has chosen to route around the strait entirely rather than put crews through the toll those attacks take.
The cost side is climbing too. Bunker prices jumped about 25%, pushing first-half voyage expenses to $82 million from $68 million, and operating expenses rose to $111 million from $102 million on higher dry-docking costs and inflation. Total debt reached $2.1 billion at the end of June, up from $1.8 billion a year earlier, as the company finances its newbuilding program. And while profit-sharing revenue jumped, the operating days tied to those market-related contracts actually fell 22%, meaning a smaller slice of the fleet is left exposed to capture further spot-rate gains if the tanker market keeps running hot.

Interested in MongoDB, Inc.? Here are five stocks we like better.
MongoDB's fiscal Q2 2027 revenue rose 30% to $772 million, driven by accelerating Atlas cloud database and Enterprise Advanced demand. The company added a record 2,900 customers, reaching 70,600 total customers, while its non-GAAP operating margin expanded to 24%.
AI adoption is gaining momentum through Atlas Vector Search, Voyage AI models and the company's managed Model Context Protocol server. Management said the strongest demand is coming from production-scale, customer-facing applications, although AI remains a relatively small contributor today.
MongoDB raised its fiscal 2027 outlook to $2.99 billion–$3.03 billion in revenue and increased its Atlas growth and operating-margin expectations. Enterprise Advanced revenue grew 36% year over year and is becoming a more durable growth driver alongside Atlas.

Gulf oil producers are finding new ways around the Strait of Hormuz, but bypassing the world's biggest oil chokepoint creates new risks.
VLCC Rates Go Ballistic as Hormuz Turns Into a Freight Jackpot
- VLCC prices are ballooning out of control (once again), pushing ***** sed earnings for a Middle East-to-China voyage beyond $500,000 per day as the flow of vessels moving out of the Gulf trickled down to a mere couple per day.
- Amidst news that Saudi Aramco resumed crude loadings at its key Ras Tanura export terminal, VLCC fixing costs for inside-Hormuz cargoes jumped to a whopping $31 million per voyage, as seen this week with the Mongolia Prosperity supertanker.
- Saudi Aramco loaded at least three VLCCs (Malaysia Prosperity, Algeria Prosperity and Singapore Prosperity) in the Gulf last week, all owned by Sinokor, offering them to Asian buyers via ship-to-ship transfers off Fujairah in the UAE on a prompt basis.

Some of the world's most powerful tech billionaires think your next job posting could come from another planet. Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Sam Altman have all predicted a future where humans live and work in ******* e. Now, Voyager Technologies founder and CEO Dylan Taylor is backing them up—and he's putting a very soon timeline on it.
According to Taylor, you could be commuting to the moon within a decade.
"Humans will definitely be living and working in ******* e," the billionaire ******* e exec exclusively told Fortune.
"The next step would be the moon. That'll happen in the 2030s—probably early 2030s," Taylor added. "We'll have a moon base, people living and working on the moon. You'll be able to look up at the moon and see lights on the moon."

Commercial **** e and defense equities continue to draw investor attention, but CNBC's Mad Money host Jim Cramer took a cautious stance on higher-risk plays in the sector on August 5. When asked about Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ:RKLB), Cramer dismissed the stock as speculative while steering investors toward Voyager Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:VOYG):
Pure spec, that's the problem. It's a pure spec. I like that Voyager. We had that fella on last night, Voyager… I like the Voyager.
Cramer's preference for Voyager Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:VOYG) follows its second-quarter earnings report, which he reviewed during the August 4 episode after interviewing management. Cramer highlighted the expanding government defense contracts, sequential revenue acceleration, and a growing backlog and said:
When you look at this phenomenal run in Voyager Technologies, the **** e and defense company that makes key components for satellites, missiles, and **** ecraft, it's been racking up government contracts left and right. Last night, Voyager reported a very strong quarter with revenue up 51% just versus the previous 3 months, a narrower-than-expected loss, and the backlog jumping 22% sequentially. That's versus last quarter, not last year. Management said that demand is building faster than they can convert it into revenue. High-quality problem. They also raised their full-year revenue forecast pretty substantially. Some of that's thanks to the recent acquisition of Astrobotic. That's a **** e robotics play... The stock jumped 14% yesterday even before the quarter and then rallied another 19.6% today in response to these results, although it's still down roughly 55% from its post-IPO highs last summer. So maybe you haven't missed as much as you might think.
It is worth noting that data tracked by Insider Monkey shows shifting hedge fund sentiment between the two **** e companies entering 2026. Elite hedge fund holders in Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ:RKLB) declined from 45 in the fourth quarter of 2025 to 43 in the first quarter of 2026. On the other hand, hedge fund ownership in Voyager Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:VOYG) expanded during the same period, rising from 35 holders in Q4 2025 to 37 in Q1 2026.

Oil prices gave up earlier gains on Friday after reports that Pakistan is trying to broker a return to U.S.-Iran nuclear negotiations. China is strongly backing the effort as the conflict and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz continue to threaten its energy security and weigh on its economy.
Brent crude for September delivery fell 4.4% to trade at $96.36 per barrel at 1.35 pm ET while WTI crude for September delivery was down 3.6% to change hands at $88.86/bbl.
However, Standard Chartered says the latest pullback may prove temporary as Middle East oil market risk has expanded from one strategic chokepoint to two.
On Monday, Yemen's Houthi militant group imposed a targeted maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia, threatening to enforce it by blocking Saudi-linked vessels from transiting the vital Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The group claimed the blockade was a direct retaliation for a decade-long Saudi containment of Yemen as well as a recent Saudi-backed airstrike targeting Sanaa International Airport.
The threat immediately rattled oil markets, prompting multiple Saudi-linked very large crude carriers (VLCCs) to abandon planned transits through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and instead reroute around Africa's Cape of Good Hope, adding up to two weeks to each voyage. Two days later, the Houthis followed through. The group launched ballistic missiles and drones at two Saudi oil tankers on Thursday, damaging both vessels and igniting fires onboard. Brent crude surged nearly $20 per barrel, briefly climbing above $100.

Sixty-five owner-operators is not the same thing as sixty-five trucks.
Watch the full episode: 65 owner-operators, one standard, and a lot of hard lessons about what keeps independent contractors running your freight when they have every other option to leave.
That distinction sits underneath everything Christian Martinez does. As director of operations at Voyager Nation in Mulberry, Florida, he manages a fleet that is 100% owner-operator, which means he manages 65 independent business owners who have no obligation to stay and every other option available to them.
"That's 65 worlds, 65 minds," Martinez said. "They all want to run their businesses a little bit different. Whether certain guys are willing to go to certain regions, home time, all of that looks different. However, the outcome has to be the same. They have to be making enough money or have enough cash flow to their business to be successful."
Martinez came up through loading docks, warehouses, ports, last-mile recruiting, and fleet acquisitions before he landed in operations, and he appeared on a recent episode of The Long Haul to talk about the thing most small carriers handle badly: recruiting and keeping owner-operators. His conclusions run against most of what the industry does by reflex.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump on Wednesday is taking his maiden voyage on a new Air Force One — a retrofitted Boeing 747 worth $400 million gifted by Qatar that embeds his personality more deeply into the institution of the American presidency.
Gone is the trademark light blue hull that helped Air Force One blend into the sky. The refurbished jet is painted to Trump's preferred color scheme of a navy belly and red and gold stripes. It has the luxury features that the president believes a commander-in-chief's entourage should have — plush carpets, lie-flat seats, wood paneling and a presidential seal on the seat belts, according to reported tours of the plane.
Trump told reporters that he was proud of the luxurious plane. "You can do two things: You can low-key it, or you can show it," he said.
The jet is carrying Trump to North Dakota to see the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, its first official visitor ahead of its opening on the nation's 250th anniversary.
The gift from the Middle Eastern power raised ethical concerns, but Trump saw the plane as a necessary replacement to the 35-year-old planes that had previously ferried him as president.

The pioneering Voyager probes might only have a few years left to explore interstellar ******* e, and that's ******* uming a planned, risky maneuver in 2026 goes well.
NASA's twin Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 ******* ecraft, both running on nuclear power, now have access to just a portion of the 470 watts of energy that they generated immediately after their 1977 launches. Originally tasked with exploring the giant planets in our solar system, the pair have long passed their expected lifespans and are still transmitting data, far from home.
Voyager 1 crossed into interstellar ******* e in 2012, and Voyager 2 followed suit six years later. For years, NASA has been turning off the probes' instruments one at a time as their power supplies dwindled. They still lose about four watts of power a year. But NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Southern California has an idea, which will be tested out soon, to give them a little more time.
Both Voyager probes launched with the same 10 operational instruments. Voyager 1 turned off its subsystem to look at cosmic rays (high-energy particles) in February, then did the same with its Low-Energy Charged Particles (LECP) instrument in April.

Elon Musk has vowed that **** eX's gigantic Starship rocket is on the cusp of its 2026 debut from South Texas.
And later this year, plans are still in the works to launch Starship before the end of the year on its long-awaited maiden voyage from Florida.
In a Jan. 26 post on social media site X, which Musk owns, the world's richest man teased that the world's largest rocket was just six weeks away from its next launch. If Musk's timeline bears out, that would mean that Starship's next flight test could be on track for early March.

As NASA gets serious about sending manned missions to Mars, it’s tempting to think, How hard could it be? After all, we put astronauts on the Moon more than half a century ago.
But traveling to the Moon versus Mars isn’t quite as similar as we might think. For starters, the trip to the moon typically takes three days. To reach Mars will require a round-trip voyage of three years.
Aside from the myriad engineering challenges of executing such a long journey, one of the biggest obstacles to a manned Mars mission is psychological. As Northwestern professor and organizational leadership expert L

A research trip along the coast of Baja California, Mexico, led to a world first.
Scientists from Oregon State University and the U.S. military's Naval Information Warfare Center were aboard the Pacific Storm research vessel in June 2024, searching for the elusive ginkgo-toothed beaked whale and other rare sea creatures, according to The Guardian. The ginkgo-toothed beaked whales are so rare that, until this voyage, there were no photos of the species alive in the wild, only shots of dead ginkgo-toothed beaked whales found on beac
