The US dollar has rallied a bit against the ***** anese yen as we are trying to break above the 200-day EMA. The market breaking above the 200-day EMA on a close, I think, would be a very bullish turn of events. The hammer from the previous session on Monday does suggest that there is real support here, especially near the 155-yen level, but if we were to break down below there, it could really open the floodgates. Keep in mind that the Bank of ***** an and the Federal Reserve intervened, that's what caused this chaos, but the interest rate differential will continue to entice carry traders to hold the dollar against the yen, as they get paid at the end of the day.

A loaded 2028 class in the state of Arizona has national appeal with suitors for the top prospects spanning the country.
It is a defensive-heavy group, especially with the top three recruits in the state, but there is plenty of offensive firepower in the state.
Here is a look at some of the top recruits in the Grand Canyon State and how their recruitments are lining up.
–Goodyear (Ariz.) Desert Edge edge Jalanie George is the highest-rated defensive prospect in the 2028 class by Rivals. In May, George named a top six of, alphabetically, Auburn, Florida, Miami, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Washington. He plans to visit Auburn when they host Florida on September 19 and he's working on finalizing a visit to Ohio State. Two of his teammates are committed to Washington, 2027 quarterback Blake Roskopf and receiver Zerek Sidney and he said he wants to get to Husky Stadium this fall and Oklahoma is also likely to get him to visit with his committed teammate Mikyal Davis. In June, he camped at Miami and also made a multi-day visit to Florida and said he hit it off with head coach Jon Sumrall. He plans to trim his list once more this fall and hopes to have a decision in January at the Navy All-American Bowl.

Arizona State offered him in June as part of the Golden Ticket push, and his father played for the Sun Devils, and he said they were one of three schools recruiting him the hardest along with Texas A&M, which has had major success in the state the last two years, as well as USC, where his teammate, Roye Oliver is committed.

Ohio State basketball landed in the top eight for one of the top point guards in the 2027 class.
Four-star prospect Jason Gardner Jr. listed the Buckeyes as one of the final teams he is looking at via Joe Tipton of On3. Gardner is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound combo guard out of Fishers (Indiana) High School. He is listed as the No. 63 player overall in the 2027 recruiting cycle per 247 Sports Composite.
According to Tipton's list, Ohio State will be competing with Auburn, Creighton, DePaul, Florida, Indiana, Mississippi State, and Stanford for Gardner's services. Ohio State is already getting a visit from Gardner on Oct. 3. He also plans on visiting Auburn on Sept. 19.

Portland defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 15-4 after collecting 13 hits, including three home runs to go along with eight walks.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden will attend Thursday morning's training camp practice as he prepares for a return to the broadcast booth.
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reported Gruden's expected appearance at practice. The visit comes ahead of his ***** ignment as the play-by-play announcer for Tampa Bay's second preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Aug. 22 at Raymond James Stadium.
Gruden will work alongside Buccaneers legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive back Ronde Barber on the WFLA-TV broadcast. WFLA is Tampa's NBC affiliate. The pairing gives the local production two prominent members of the franchise's Super Bowl ***** VII championship team.
Gruden coached the Buccaneers from 2002 through 2008, compiling a 57-55 regular-season record and leading the organization to its first Super Bowl championship during his first year in Tampa. Barber spent his entire 16-year playing career with the Buccaneers and delivered one of the defining moments of that ***** le run with his interception return for a touchdown in the NFC Championship Game.

Elite five-star cornerback DJ Pickett emerged onto the scene last season as a True Freshman All-American. He arrived at LSU with tremendous hype as the highest-rated cornerback in his recruiting class, and needless to say, he did not disappoint. Pickett quickly became a staple of the LSU defense and an instant fan favorite while wearing the No. 3 jersey.
However, during practice today, I noticed that Pickett was wearing No. 5, the same number he wore in high school and in all of his official visit photos while being recruited, instead of No. 3.
During the press conference following practice, head coach Lane Kiffin was asked about the number change. Kiffin explained that Pickett was promised he would be able to wear No. 5 as part of his recruitment and ultimately in order to sign with LSU. Kiffin went on to say that he had done a lot of research by speaking with Pickett's family and representatives, but for whatever reason, that promise was never fulfilled. He added that he was not going to judge a situation that occurred before he arrived at LSU. However, because Pickett was promised the number in order to come to the school, Kiffin felt it should be honored.
This is another example of Kiffin going the extra mile to ensure that even promises made to players before he became LSU's head coach are kept. He is making it clear that his staff intends to build trust by honoring commitments made to players whenever possible.
Seeing Pickett in purple and gold will never be a sight for sore eyes, but it will certainly be interesting to see the No. 5 jersey back in action inside Tiger Stadium. Angelina Jolie's son, Maddox Jolie, is celebrating a milestone: his 25th birthday.
Born in Battambang, Cambodia on Aug. 5, 2001, Maddox spent the first seven months of his life in an orphanage. In 2002, Angelina, who had filmed Lara Croft: Tomb Raider there the year prior, was visiting the orphanage in hopes of adoptions. She found she didn't "feel a connection" with any of the children until she laid eyes on Maddox.
"They then said, 'There's one more baby.'" She saw Maddox lying in a box suspended from the ceiling, she told Vanity Fair in 2017, and knew he was her baby. "I cried and cried," she revealed. Angelina's then-partner, Brad Pitt, would also adopt Maddox in 2005.
Decades later, the mother-son duo remain a tight-knit pair and have worked on several projects together. In 2016, 15-year-old Maddox worked as an executive producer on Angelina's film, First They Killed My Father, an adaptation of Loung Ung's book about the Cambodian genocide by the Khmer Rouge regime. The actress told PEOPLE that though he "goes back and forth [to Cambodia] a lot," working on the film served as more of an immersive experience for Maddox to learn about where he's from.
The two worked together again when he served as a production ***** istant on 2024's Maria and 2026's Couture, which both starred his mother.

BANGKOK (AP) — China announced a series of economic measures Wednesday against the United States, including controls on exports of drones to the U.S. and a ban on dealings with six American entities, in response to recent restrictions imposed by Washington.
Tensions are simmering between the world's two biggest economies ahead of an expected visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping to the U.S. in September, despite signs of warming ties during his meetings with U.S. President Donald Trump in Beijing in May.
The Commerce Ministry said the sanctions are in response to recent moves from the U.S., including a ban by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission on imports of Chinese drones, and the Department of Homeland Security's decision to add 43 Chinese companies to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act entity list to prevent imports of goods made with forced labor.
The "measures seriously violate the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and severely damage China's legitimate rights and interests. China has no choice but to take necessary countermeasures in response," the ministry said in a statement.
It emphasized that China was acting with restraint and urged the U.S. to scrap its measures against Beijing and cease its "erroneous practices." It also warned of further sanctions if the U.S. rolls out new restrictive measures against China.

A royal expert has reportedly urged Prince Harry to stop acting like a "working royal" following his recent UK visit. The Duke of Sussex traveled to mark the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games, but the trip was overshadowed by security concerns that prevented Meghan Markle and their children from joining him.
Royal expert Emily Andrews has reportedly slammed Prince Harry for making his UK trip into a "circus." Discussing the issue with Woman and Home magazine, she said: "The drama with Prince Harry shows no sign of abating or calming down. His hoped-for family reunion unravelled into an unseemly row over who said what, when, where people could stay, and why exactly he feels unsafe in the UK."

Andrews said, "For me, it was trying to combine the two things – his family and his work – that has proved so difficult. He is no longer a working royal. And so can't act like one."
