Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson left Thursday's game against the Carolina Panthers in an ambulance after sustaining a chest injury.
Watson was able to walk off the field and into the ambulance on his own power, but he left the game in the first half to a local hospital. The Packers announced that he had sustained a chest injury and was being transported to a hospital for precautionary reasons.
Watson was in immediate pain from a collision after catching a 53-yard pass in the second quarter.
He remained down on the field for several moments, then walked to the sideline medical tent. After a quick visit in the tent, he walked off the field to the locker room. He was seen getting into an ambulance moments later.
Panthers cornerback Will Lee II collided with Watson on the play and also was injured. He needed a cart to leave the field after appearing to sustain a leg injury.
