O'Donnell, 64, opened up on the Aug. 11 episode of Good Hang with Amy Poehler. During the episode, Poehler, 54, noted that conversations about "sexuality and gender" have evolved a lot since the '90s and "everything is so much more open."

Princess Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shared a fresh affectionate message for her 38th birthday after months of speculation about their marriage.
Edoardo posted photographs of Beatrice on August 8 and called her his "phenomenal, beautiful wife," adding, "You make our world." He signed the message "Love E,W,S,A ****** x," referring to himself and the couple's three children.
A source close to the couple pushed back strongly in PEOPLE, calling the marriage-trouble speculation "complete nonsense." The couple was also photographed together at a London birthday party around the same period.
Edoardo has also spoken repeatedly about the importance of family in a recent Gentleman's Journal interview, naming family time as part of his ideal holiday, his biggest luxury and his preferred way to relax.
The August 8 post was not simply a recirculated message from Beatrice's previous birthday. "Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife," Edoardo wrote in the new Instagram caption.

Adam Carolla is the latest conservative voice to crash out over Anne Hathaway's 2018 Human Rights Campaign speech about white, straight men.
Back in 2018, Hathaway gave a speech while accepting National Ally for Equality Award from the LGBTQ+ civil rights organization the Human Rights Campaign. In it, she called out straight white men in a way that is rankling conservatives and MAGA-minded people eight years later now that she stars in one of the biggest movies of the year, Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey."
"It is important to acknowledge with the exception of being a cisgender male, everything about how I was born has put me at the current center of a damaging and widely accepted myth," Hathaway said at the time. "That myth is that gayness orbits around straightness, transgender orbits around cisgender, and that all races orbit around whiteness. This myth is wrong. But this myth is too real for too many … It is a habit, so it's ***** umed to be the way things are."
On Friday's episode of "The Adam and Dr. Drew Show," both men took umbrage with the near-decade old quote. A meltdown ensued on the show as the two tried to figure out what exactly Hathaway meant while ***** uring listeners that regardless of what she meant, she was wrong.
"It sounds like she's saying, 'I was born into this world myself as a rich, white person,'" Carolla said. "But you know what they never factor in? The ultimate privilege – bone structure. Being good-looking. Beauty. Chuck knows what I'm talking about. A lot of doors opening. Lots of doors."

While some former co-stars reportedly felt snubbed, JWoww says the reaction only reinforced why certain people weren't invited in the first place.
Farley recently addressed the growing controversy in a TikTok video, making it clear that she was frustrated by the public discussion surrounding her guest list. "It is infuriating" that she's "now getting caught up in retweets and tabloids about who was invited and who wasn't invited," she said.
"If you were a true friend or family member, none of this would be public right now," Farley continued. "You would've [come] to me. But you can't come to me, because then you can't play victim to your own fake ****** narrative."
The reality star explained that she and Carpinello intentionally limited the guest list to around 50 of their closest family members and friends. "These people that are sh-t talking and creating these anonymous threads and tabloids things are the whole reason why they weren't invited," she added. "You proved my point."
Despite the headlines surrounding who wasn't there, Farley and Carpinello are choosing to focus on the people who were.
