Kevin Durant is not changing his weird relationship rules anytime soon, as he doubled down on his stance that women shouldn't expect to spend too much time at his home after spending the night.
During an appearance on Boardroom Talks with Speedy Morman, Durant spoke about his viral checkout policy and was asked about how women might react to being told it was time to leave. The Houston Rockets superstar didn't appear particularly concerned about upsetting his guests.
"She'll be alright, she'll be alright when she get home get to the shower and get into her routine. She'll be fine, we'll kick again some other time. Like she'll get over it."
Durant's comments continue a conversation he started during an October 2025 appearance on Bobbi Althoff's Not This Again podcast. At that time, the two-time champion compared having someone stay at his house to checking out of a hotel.
"It's almost like checkout. After breakfast, you gotta dip. It's like now get too comfortable. Like, we're not there yet, but once we get there though you can stay past 2, until at least 4 [p.m.]."

WEST ALLIS, WI – IndyCar continues to make adjustments to its doubleheader schedule at the Milwaukee Mile. With rain continuing at the track, the first race of the weekend – the Snap-On Makers and Fixers 250 – will not resume at 8 a.m. Sunday as planned after its Saturday evening postponement.
The second race – the Snap-On Milwaukee Mile 250 – will begin at 1 p.m., before the Snap-On Makers and Fixers 250 resumes. Then, IndyCar plans to resume the first race at approximately 6 p.m., about three hours after the checkered flag for the second race.
Pato O'Ward – who won at the Milwaukee Mile in 2024 – leads the first race through 90 laps, with Felix Rosenqvist and Alexander Rossi behind him. Alex Palou will start on the pole with O'Ward joining him on the front row for the second race.
This is now the second race of the IndyCar season that won't be completed on the day it was supposed to. The Music City Grand Prix was delayed from July 19 to July 20 after heavy rain in Lebanon, Tennessee. Before the Music City Grand Prix, IndyCar hadn't delayed any portion of a race a day since 2018 at Barber Motorsports Park.
IndyCar still intends to do all 250 laps and miles for both races. National Weather Service anticipates that showers and thunderstorms will continue until 3 p.m. (2 p.m. CT) in West Allis, Wisconsin.

San Francisco Giants third-base coach Ron Wotus didn't hesitate to let umpire Alan Porter hear his two cents on Saturday, less than 24 hours removed from Porter tossing Giants manager Tony Vitello.
During the lineup card exchange before Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Arizona Diamondbacks in San Francisco, Wotus said his piece.
Porter sent him to the showers, too.
Wotus, a longtime Giants staffer who replaced a reassigned Hector Borg in the third-base coaching box earlier this season, had a front-row seat to a call that drew ire amid a five-run D-backs third inning that played a significant role in San Francisco's 10-6 defeat on Friday.
Nolan Arenado hit a chopper down the third-base line. Although the ball landed in foul territory beyond the infield, third-base umpire Alex MacKay ruled it fair since he believed it traveled over the bag. The play couldn't be reviewed, and as reported by MLB.com, it really wasn't until Tim Tawa launched a subsequent three-run homer that Vitello began his outburst.

The check-swing call that got San Francisco Giants manager Tony Vitello ejected on Wednesday afternoon was borderline, a maybe, maybe not.
Vitello's fiery response to getting tossed, though, was crisp and clear on the visiting TV audio. After yelling – at the very least – "Get it right!" before home-plate umpire Ryan Blakney sent him to an early shower, Vitello popped out of the dugout with some words that got the crowd-mic volume hastily turned down on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Pointing at first-base umpire Ben May, Vitello unleashed some swear words while continuing to interject "get it f---ing right" after May ruled that Eugenio Suárez hadn't swung at a 1-2 pitch from Logan Webb.
Vitello was known for his occasional displays of temper while at the University of Tennessee, but in his first three ejections this season, he was relatively restrained in his responses. Director of major league pitching Frank Anderson, Vitello's pitching coach at Tennessee, was more animated when he was ejected along with Adrian Houser on May 2.
On Wednesday, with his team going for its first sweep of the season, Vitello let loose and at the least, got his money's worth for the fine that comes along with getting ejected.

A Florida couple is being charged with child neglect after allegedly keeping four children confined in the cab of a tractor-trailer for almost seven years without "time to take showers, use the restroom" or "exercise outside," arrest records show.
The children "have not been allowed to attend school for approximately five years," they told interviewers at a child advocacy center, according to an arrest report.
Keisha Epps, 51, and her fiancé, Tamra Marshon Stewart, 37, have been living in the cab with the children while Epps works as a truck driver, driving a route between Miami and Atlanta, according to court documents.

It's really something to see a true one-of-one. The first time it really stuck, it really happened to me, was Usain Bolt in 2008 in Beijing. It was quite something for 14-year-old Joshua to see the seven fastest men in the world three steps behind this freak — and I say that with the utmost admiration.
Of course Bolt did that two more times in those Games, then broke his own record at the World Championships in Berlin a year later—still the fastest time ever recorded—and then in London, and just for good measure took home the gold in the 100m and 200m in Rio in 2016. The greatest sprinter of all time and a 100th-percentile outcome for what the human body can be. Bolt went out with a whimper though, pulling up lame in the 4x100m relay final at the 2017 World Championships. A hamstring injury mid-race spelled the end of one of sports' great, fiery comets.

(NEXSTAR) — The condition known to cause "scromiting" among some marijuana users has become more prevalent in the U.S., a recent report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows, though the trend among a specific age group may contradict previous understandings of the syndrome.
Cannabis (or cannabinoid) hyperemesis syndrome (CHS) is as serious as it sounds. The condition, which can cause excessive vomiting with recurring bouts of severe stomach pain and nausea, was first detected in Australia two decades ago. Some have referred to a combination of CHS symptoms – screaming, due to the intense pain, and vomiting – as "scromiting."
Hot showers and baths are often described as the only way to mitigate the discomfort. In rare cases, the condition has resulted in death, health officials said.

After Blueface did the same to his son, the rapper can be heard telling Nevaeh, "I barely even kicked you," to which she responded, "You kicked me?"

Roads on the Isle of Man are set to close twice on Wednesday for qualifying in the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT.
Organisers have confirmed that a daytime contingency session will be used to make up for the cancellation of Monday's evening session due to rain.
It follows disruption to the second half of Sunday's opening session due to a red flag incident and incoming showers.
Although there had been doubt over Tuesday evening's qualifying, clerk of the course Gary Thompson said the latest weather forecast indicated conditions would be "suitable", however he warned of "a chance" of rain disruption" later in the evening.
The use of Wednesday's contingency will see road around the 37.7 mile (61km) Mountain Course close at 12:30 BST until no later than 17:00.

ARDMORE, Pa. — Merion, the club and the course, is about as English as anything American thing could be, and Sunday here — for the finale of the 126th U.S. Amateur — was dank and wet and of-so-English. An Englishman was playing a kid from California. The Englishman won. Not a shocker.
There was something truly great about this Am, the whole seven days of it: six days of hot, dry golf leading to this rainy, cool Sunday; 312 players whittled down to two; and a final featuring two totally dissimilar golfers. Jack Whaley, deeply tanned and powerfully built, grew up in Doncaster, England, plays at Florida State and has a ready-for-the-Tour swing and a grind-it-out demeanor. Jay Leng Jr. grew up in San Diego, plays at Stanford, could not weigh 130 pounds, has a stance wider than Moe Norman's and a backswing shorter than Jon Rahm's, and follows no known playbook but his own. It was a delight watching these two go at it in this 36-hole final. Whaley won the match with a birdie on 15, the final nail in his 4-and-3 victory.
Arnold Palmer, who won this event in 1954, offered this as a swing tip for life: "Swing your swing." A cousin to you do you. Leng, winner of the Western Amateur earlier this summer who will represent the U.S. at next month's Walker Cup at Lahinch in Ireland, did not know Palmer's three-word phrase but understood its message. "I've always done things my own way and it seems to be working so I don't see any reason to change now," Leng said Sunday night, about to board a van for a ride back to the clubhouse as Whaley's new trophy was being brought to the 15th green.
By 14, Leng was playing without a hat, his black hair so wet he looked like he had just stepped out of a shower, his shirt close to soaked. Playing a Test for the country after 632 days, he walked into bat after a moment of chaos between Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul, who were involved in a terrible mix-up, but took the mantle seamlessly from the opener. Devdutt got off the mark with a boundary, danced down the track to launch Prabath Jayasuriya for a maximum early in the innings and showcased excellent footwork against both spin and pace. There wasn't much happening off the surface in the first session, but the odd delivery did surprise the batters, mostly because of the drift caused by the crosswinds.

Off-spinner Keshara Nuwantha, introduced in the ninth over on his debut, got one to drift in and hold its line after pitching, but the bounce saved Devdutt, who wore a look of disbelief. No one expected that kind of ***** istance from the surface that early in the contest, and the remainder of the day showed that what happened in the 13th over was an anomaly. While Rahul was happy to switch to blockathon mode, Devdutt kept the board moving at a fair clip. The Karnataka batters, who spend a lot of time off the field bonding over their mutual love for coffee, complemented each other really well. Rahul, who unfortunately retired hurt due to cramps, enjoys batting with Devdutt as the left-hander's positive approach allows him to switch to zen mode.

Devdutt remained in the driving seat of the 150-run stand, which put India in a dominant position on the opening day, maximizing the crucial toss Shubman Gill had won earlier. Given how long Sean Payton spent in the past coaching the New Orleans Saints, perhaps it should come as no surprise to fans that he loves any excuse he can get to troll the Atlanta Falcons. And he found a prime opportunity to do so as his current team, the Denver Broncos, visited the Falcons to open the preseason on Friday.
The Broncos took no time in getting back to looking like the team that captured the AFC's No. 1 seed in the playoffs last year, jumping out to a 24-0 lead at the halftime break before eventually capturing a 27-7 win. And when interviewed at halftime, Payton also took no time in finding a way to add insult to injury with a reference to a lackluster turnout by Falcons fans
"A lot of people dressed up as empty seats today," Payton quipped.
Of course, the fans who were in attendance weren't feeling too chipper about Atlanta's performance either, with boos being showered down upon the team as they hit the locker room at the end of the first half. So while Payton wasn't impressed with the fan turnout, those who did make their way to the game didn't seem to feel there was much reason to return.
The Falcons totaled just 192 yards of offense and turned the ball over twice in the loss, which doesn't paint the most optimistic picture of what the Kevin Stefanski era might look like. But the Broncos, on the other hand, looked every bit the elite defense that they were in 2025 – indicating that their reign atop the AFC might not yet be finished.

It's hard to toss a rookie onto the field with an entire roster's worth of NFL veterans and have them emerge looking like the best player out of the bunch. But that's reportedly been the case for New York Jets defensive end David Bailey this preseason, and it continued on Tuesday.
Zack Rosenblatt, who serves as a senior writer with The Athletic covering the New York Jets and the NFL at large, was in attendance at the joint practice session between the Jets and Buccaneers on Tuesday and reported that "there's an argument" that Bailey was the best player on the field across both teams. He also showered Bailey with some lofty praise after watching him throughout the preseason so far.
"I've been covering the Jets for five seasons, and the NFL for nine. In that time I'm not sure I've seen a rookie that was appointment viewing quite like Bailey," reported Rosenblatt.
Bailey was the second overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after being named a unanimous All-American and the Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year during his senior season at Texas Tech in 2025. He recorded 52 tackles (19.5 TFL), 14.5 sacks, three pass deflections, and three forced fumbles while anchoring a Red Raiders defense that made a run to the College Football Playoff.
For a Jets team that needs answers fast in Aaron Glenn's second season in charge of the program, a player of Bailey's caliber could go a long way in helping the team get turned around from their troubles last season. And early in camp, he could live up to that hype and make a major impact as a rookie. And if Rosenblatt is correct, Bailey might not just make an outsized impact, but end up being one of the best rookies we've seen this decade in the NFL.

• In an August 10 letter to the Antwerp World Diamond Centre and David Gotlib Luxury Cufflinks, Senators Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut warned that the gift raised serious legal questions under U.S. federal bribery law and could result in criminal penalties for the companies.
• "At best, your (gift to) ... President Trump amidst high-stakes tariff decisions creates the glaring appearance of impropriety. ‌At worst, it reinforces that foreign ⁠corporate special interests can … buy lucrative tariff exemptions simply by showering President Trump with shiny gifts," they wrote in the letter.

The Indiana Fever have been at the center of what has seemed like one controversy after another throughout the 2026 season. Most recently, teh discourse surrounding the team has been dominated by a hard foul that Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington had on Sophie Cunningham.
In the aftermath of the foul, which led to all sorts of outrageous responses, White said that she didn't feel Carrington had any malicious intent behind what was an admittedly reckless play.
"Look, it was a hard foul," White said. "It did happen, and I thought it was the right call. One of the things about [Carrington] is that she's going to play her ***** off, man. She's going to compete. ***** ody's going to go walking in for a layup. I don't oppose the hard foul, but I also don't think that she intentionally went for the neck."
In the aftermath, many, such as Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, called for White to lose her job for not properly sticking up for Cunningham in their eyes.
"This isn't politics; your player got ***** aulted. Defend your player in the press conference. Be like, 'Yeah, that was a dirty play; she should've hit the showers.' With recurring rain showers in Pennsylvania this summer, fishing conditions varied at different lakes, but fish were biting for those who knew how to adapt.
Mark Melega, 57, of Rices Landing and Lee Corazzi, 66, of Fredericktown, have fished in tournaments for years and have found ways to get the fish to bite.
"We had a good year," Melega said.
The cousins fish in a variety of tournaments with their teammate Bucky Mounts of Washington. They fish from Erie to West Virgina and many lakes and rivers in between.
Corazzi said the fishing continues to improve, especially on the Monongahela River.

Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington returned to the court on Monday night after she was ejected from Saturday's game against the Indiana Fever for a hard foul on Fever guard Sophie Cunningham. Even though that return came on the road, she still received quite a warm reception from the fans in attendance.
As usual, Carrington began Monday night's game on the bench. But when she checked into the game early in the first quarter, she was showered with cheers from the opposing fans following the incident with Cunningham and her subsequent ejection.
The play in question occurred during the first quarter of Saturday night's game when Cunningham went up for what appeared to be an open layup, and Carrington struck her in the head from behind, sending her slamming into the ground.
After a review, Carrington was issued a Flagrant 2 foul and ejected from the contest.
"Clearly, I think it was like, unnecessary. I've never really spoken to her and have no beef with her, but I guess she has some pent-up stuff. So get your [expletive] off. That's fine. I can take it." Cunningham said after the game via Kareem Copeland.

The Texas Rangers scored four runs while the Anaheim Angels scored one run in ten innings.
Despite the fact that the Angels are among the worst teams in baseball, and indeed the team currently with the worst record in the American League, the Rangers came into tonight's game winless at Angel Stadium in 2026 after getting swept by their divisional rivals up the road from Disneyland back in late May.
The Rangers only fared marginally better when last these two teams met in Arlington around a month ago with Texas claiming two of three against the Angels despite suffering a 13-1 loss to Anaheim in the middle game of the series, a game started by MacKenzie Gore.
Gore was on the hill tonight for the Rangers as they tried to inch closer to a positive record against the division's basement dwellers. Two batters into the game and it was already 1-0 Angels as Mike Trout hit his 785th career home run against Texas.
Ultimately though, that first inning solo home run amounted to the Gore Inning (TM) as Gore settled in and didn't allow another run through his 5 1/3 innings of work. The Angels did make him work a little as it took him 103 pitches to get to one out in the sixth before hitting the showers, but he finished allowing just the one run on four hits and a couple of walks with nine strikeouts.

Aaron Rodgers may soon say goodbye to New Jersey.
In Touch can confirm that the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, 42, has listed his eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom New Jersey mansion for $15 million.
The former New York Jets player purchased the property — located on 2.39 acres — in Montclair in June 2023 for $9.5 million. The Jets play their home games at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, which is a short drive from the Montclair area.
The home features an open-concept floor plan that flows from a two-story living room to a custom chef's kitchen featuring Wolf, Sub-Zero and Miele appliances.

ORCHARD PARK - The Buffalo Bills first practice at the new Highmark Stadium was dampened, literally, by a strong rain shower about halfway through, but also because of injuries to center Connor McGovern and running back Ty Johnson.
Coach Joe Brady did not have any specifics on either player and will meet with the training staff before announcing anything, probably when the Bills return to practice Monday at One Bills Drive.
Johnson went down during a one-on-one drill when he got behind linebacker Joe Andreessen with a nice move at the line of scrimmage, but as he pulled away downfield he suddenly went to the ground. At first it looked like he slipped - this was before the rain - but then he stayed down and ultimately walked gingerly to the locker room with a trainer.
Not long after that, McGovern left an 11-on-11 portion for a couple plays after chasing down a defensive player after an interception, then returned to center but re-injured himself and this time he limped off the field, flanked by trainers.
Lloyd Cushenberry and Sedrick Van Pran-Granger split the first-team reps after McGovern went off.

Charles Leclerc and his wife, Alexandra Leclerc, spent another day aboard a yacht off the coast of Sardinia, Italy, as conflicting reports continued about whether they are expecting their first child.
The Formula 1 driver and Alexandra were photographed on Sunday, August 2nd. The outing came shortly after the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Photographs published by Just Jared showed Charles and Alexandra swimming, sunbathing and returning to the yacht after spending time in the water.
Several publications have described Alexandra as pregnant or referred to her recent outfits as maternity fashion. Neither she nor Charles has publicly announced a pregnancy.
Charles wore Frescobol Carioca swim shorts, while Alexandra selected a bikini for the outing. Other images showed them using the yacht's outdoor shower and relaxing together on deck. The August 2nd outing followed an earlier day at sea with the couple's dachshund, Leo.
