Anheuser-Busch InBev has invested in the production of its Cutwater spirits RTDs, a brand the brewing giant has said is enjoying rapid sales growth.
The company is spending $13m at its facility in Baldwinsville in New York state, part of which will also go towards the manufacturing of its Michelob Ultra beer brand.
The capital injection is part of the group's plan to invest $300m across its US production this year. AB InBev also invested the same amount in its production sites in 2025.
In a statement, the Stella Artois brewer said the move is going to "add new production capabilities for Cutwater to help meet rapidly growing demand".
The capital injection will also grow production of Michelob Ultra and "upgrade can and bottle lines", the group said.

LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas Aces head coach Becky Hammon was ejected from her team's matchup against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday at Michelob Ultra Arena.
The fifth-year coach appeared to be arguing a no-call after Dream forward Angel Reese missed a midrange jumper with 5:06 remaining in the second quarter. That drew Hammon's first technical as the Dream had a 33-29 lead.
Hammon then exited the sideline and charged towards officials on the court in frustration. She had to be held back by her ***** istant coaches and high-fived players and other team personnel as she headed toward the locker room after receiving her second technical foul in quick succession.
Assistant coach Charlene Thomas-Swinson took over in Hammon's absence.
It's Hammon's first ejection since the Aces lost to the Los Angeles Sparks on June 9, 2024.

LAS VEGAS – Aces forward NaLyssa Smith continues to quietly strengthen her Most Improved Player of the Year case.
Despite the defending WNBA champions taking a 92-87 defeat to the league-leading Minnesota Lynx (29-7) on Saturday night at the Michelob ULTRA Arena, Smith — not for the first time this season — trotted off the hardwood with her head high.
Smith did what she was supposed to do, and then some, dropping a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double — on 7-for-13 from the field — with nine of the boards coming on the offensive end. It was her fourth double-double of the year and the third in the last five games.
In totality, the former No. 2 Draft pick was the only real support four-time A'ja Wilson had in trying to combat fire with fire against the Lynx's high-powered offense led by the lethal trio of rookie Olivia Miles, Napheesa Collier, and Kayla McBride.
Wilson poured in 32 points to go along with seven rebounds and three stocks. She went 10-for-15 from the floor and 11-for-12 at the free-throw line. Together, Wilson and Smith shot a combined 17-for-28 FG. The rest of the team went 14-for-41, including Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray going 8-for-26.

On one side, the Las Vegas Aces, a dynasty in the making with three championships in four years spearheaded by arguably the greatest player the game has ever seen in A'ja Wilson. Opposite them were the Minnesota Lynx, the best team in the WNBA and a contender hoping to taste success for themselves with the lethal 1-2 punch of Napheesa Collier and Olivia Miles.
With the recent success of both teams, this is the WNBA's heavyweight main event playing out on the hardwood.
In the end, the Lynx were the team that was built to last, building a lead in the second half to help hold off the Aces 90-84.

San Francisco 49ers WAGs Claire Kittle and Kristin Juszcyk are not among these. Instead, the two prominent social media personalities are on a girls trip in Italy, which has contained daily trips on boats while their husbands are dealing with injuries back in California.

Iowa State head coach T.J. Otzelberger is leaning into a bigger, more physical frontcourt strategy as the Cyclones conclude their eight-week summer program. The focal point of this shift features sophomore Dom Pleta and Blake Buchanan playing alongside one another, a combination that Otzelberger believes mirrors the "formidable size" seen in top-tier programs like Houston and Arizona.
Pleta, who returned to his native Germany this summer to train with professional players, says he is entering his second season at his physical "peak". While he is technically a sophomore, his experience in the German pro leagues has put him ahead of a typical second-year player's developmental curve.

It won't; Scotland quickly score once, twice, three times. The score is 4–0 by the time the referee whistles for the Michelob ULTRA Hydration Break to take place. Each of FIFA's 211 national member ****** ociations would have a financial stake, estimated at around $20 million each. The Times estimates that the company would be valued at around $20 billion.

However, despite missing NaLyssa Smith and Cheyenne Parker-Tyus, the defending WNBA champions did not let that faze them.
Coming off the All-Star break — wounded by a 100-99 road defeat to Washington on July 22 — the Aces showed no signs of rust, particularly on offense, brushing aside the Fire, 98-83, on their first visit to Sin City.
The win clinched a season sweep of Portland for Las Vegas (19-8). It was the Aces' fourth victory in their last six games. Head coach Becky Hammon's group never trailed and led by as many as 18 points.
"Pretty good," Hammon said when asked to grade her team's return to action. "Except for that third quarter (Fire outscored the Aces 27-26), we gave up too much there, [but] pretty good. Good job; everybody is just trying to get into a flow. It's hard to replicate game flow in one day of practice, but it was a good game to kind of get back into our groove a little bit."

What a weekend for the Las Vegas Aces. Just one day after beating the Phoenix Mercury 106-58, they fell to the Indiana Fever.
The Aces couldn’t carry over the momentum from Saturday’s historic 48-point victory over the Mercury, suffering a lopsided 109-75 loss to the Fever at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.
Indiana controlled the game from the opening quarter and never looked back, handing the Aces their second loss to the Fever in about a week.
With Lisa Leslie and Dawn Staley sitting courtside, the Aces-Fever matchup featured plenty of star power both on and off the court.

Despite playing under a minutes restriction as she continues to work her way back into her typical workload within Indiana's (14-9) lineup, Caitlin Clark set another WNBA record on Sunday night in the Fever's 109-75 rout of the Las Vegas Aces (17-7) at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
As the third quarter neared its conclusion, the former Hawkeye made a nifty pass to teammate Monique Billings, who converted at the basket while being fouled and later completed the three-point play. The helper from Clark was her 600th career **** ist, making her the fastest player in WNBA history to reach that milestone, accomplishing the feat in just 72 games.
The three-time WNBA All-Star would go on to finish with 12 points on 5 for 11 shooting, 1 for 5 from 3-point land, and 1 for 2 at the free-throw line, to go along with seven **** ists and six rebounds in 24 minutes of play.
While it didn't take Clark long to reach 600, the 6-foot guard still has quite a long way to go to even come close to the league's all-time regular-season career **** ist leader, Hall of Famer Sue Bird, who has 3,234 **** ists.

While it didn't take Clark long to reach 600, the 6-foot guard still has quite a long way to go to even come close to the league's all-time regular-season career **** ist leader, Hall of Famer Sue Bird, who has 3,234 **** ists.

Jordan Spieth was at it again on Thursday in the first round of the John Deere Classic. Spieth’s group teed off on the 10th hole at 8:35 AM and he was 1-under by the time he stepped onto the 15th tee box. That’s when he did the most Jordan Spieth thing possible and hit his tee shot so far right it ended up on the wrong side of the cart path.
When Spieth walked up to find his ball and take his second shot he found a white flag next to a garbage can and a Michelob Ultra-branded recycling bin where patrons were supposed to put their empties. The ball had somehow ended up underneath the recycling. Thus, we got the visual of Jordan Spieth dragging both receptacles to the cart path curb like it was trash day.
It’s an incredible visual. He looks like a dad realizing his kid didn’t take out the trash and can’t decide if it’s even worth his effort to move them at this point because he’s pretty sure he already heard the truck go by.
But not Jordan Spieth. He got the OK to move the bins and then he asked just exactly how much he could move his ball. And he stepped up and hit it within a few feet. And then he made the birdie putt.

Tyler Kolek may play for NBA champions the New York Knicks, but he wasn’t recognizable to NYPD officers during a Thursday celebration.
ESPN reporter Kimberley A. Martin shared video of Kolek high-fiving and celebrating with fans gathered in New York City to celebrate the Knicks’ historic championship victory. The New York team beat the San Antonio Spurs in five games, which included an explosive comeback in Game 4 where the Knicks made up for a 29-point deficit.
In the video of Kolek, 25, multiple officers stop him and remove him from the crowd as Kolek appears to be explaining that he’s on the team. The officers simply believed he was a fan getting too excited (he was holding a Michelob Ultra while getting the crowd fired up). Kolek has had plenty of court time, though he did not play in the NBA Finals games, which may have led to some of the confusion.
Kolek, a guard, played in more than 60 regular-season games and eight postseason games.

Late in a 101-91 win over the Seattle Storm on Monday at Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, they scrambled to get the ball back in the four-time league MVP’s hands so she could secure a triple-double.
Wilson finished with 34 points, 12 rebounds, nine ******* ists and three blocks — just one ******* ist shy of the stat line Aces forward NaLyssa Smith admitted the Aces were hoping to help her reach, but still the first 34-12-9 game in the WNBA has ever seen.
