Gillingham manager Gareth Ainsworth says he wants his players to follow the example of tireless midfielder Robbie McKenzie.
The 27-year-old former Hull player remains a key cog in the centre of the park for the Gills, and is closing in on 250 appearances for the club.
"We've had chats, me and Robbie, and I'm loving seeing the way he's playing at the moment," Ainsworth told BBC Radio Kent.
"He's coming off because he's got nothing left. That's what I want all my players to do, empty the tanks.
"That's my sort of team. We've got to be fit in this league, but organised and also defensively solid."

Arsenal made it four wins from four in the Premier League with a hard-fought 2-0 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. The Black Cats played a gritty, physical game, but the Gunners gave as good as they got, and battled to the win. With a massive ***** ist from David Raya saving a, uh, generously awarded penalty that would have made it 1-0 for the bad guys. Minutes later, Bruno Guimaraes put one top bins. Raya made another brilliant save later in the half. Deep in added time, Bruno put Bukayo Saka in on goal, earning a penalty and second yellow to Reinildo. Penalty converted. Game over.
The Sunderland crowd greeted Bruno with a chorus of boos when he replaced Myles Lewis-Skelly at halftime. They take their rivalry with Newcastle seriously. Unfortunately, it was very much a "keep booing, it only makes me stronger" moment. You could see from the little smile on Bruno's face that he was loving it and using it to fuel him. His "I can't hear you" celebration to the crowd after he'd put one on postage stamp was absolute perfection.
Great call from Mikel Arteta to pull Myles Lewis-Skelly at the break. Everything was off from him — poor touches, cheap fouls — it simply wasn't his night. The manager also had to swap Jurrien Timber for Ben White, who appeared to have tweaked his groin. Because when ***** nal get one right back healthy, the other gets injured. That's how it works. Timber was excellent, by the way.
The ***** nal subs that came on later in the second half, Eze, Merino, and Zubimendi, were mediocre to poor. The depth is tremendous but Mikel Arteta has his work cut out for him to keep everyone sharp so that when they are called into action they don't, say, give the ball away the only two times they get on it like Merino did today.
The Gunners could have and should have been ahead at halftime, but once again, they were profligate with scoring chances. Bukayo Saka was caught in two minds on a leaping volley and only managed glancing contact. Kai Havertz shot over the bar from in close. The German striker also forced a smart save with a brilliant control, turn, and volley move. Saka also flubbed two chances in the second half — he picked the wrong pass on a 4-on-2 break and he shot too close to the keeper. The side could do with a bit better finishing, but if you believe (as I generally do) that finishing ebbs and flows, as long as they keep generated the volume of chances, someone is in for a real hiding.

Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford met his wife, Ally McBeal actress Calista Flockhart, in 2002.
The couple got engaged in 2009 and tied the knot over a year later. Ford, who is a dad to four children from his two previous marriages, also adopted Flockhart's son, Liam.
They've been supporting each other's careers over the years, with color-coordinated red carpet appearances and sweet shoutouts in acceptance speeches.
Back in 2002, Harrison Ford wasn't on Calista Flockhart's radar. "I remember loving him on Mosquito Coast, but I really didn't think about him," the actress said of Ford at the time. But that all changed after they met at the 59th Golden Globes with a meet-cute straight out of a '90s rom-com. Ford officially caught Flockhart's attention when he accidentally spilled wine on her dress mid-conversation. The comical moment apparently sealed the deal for Flockhart, and the two began dating from that point on.
"I'm in love. Romantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love, and I think there is a potential for it at any stage of your life," Ford said in a 2003 interview, a year after meeting Flockhart. "I was not surprised that I was able to fall in love, and I wasn't surprised that I did."

Ella Beatty opened up about growing up in the "most loving" family, which happened to have three of Hollywood's biggest stars
Ella followed in the footsteps of her parents, Warren Beatty and Annette Bening, when she decided to become an actor
Fans in the comments remarked how similar Ella looks to Warren's older sister Shirley MacLaine
Ella Beatty is reflecting on her famous family — and some fans can't believe her resemblance to her famous aunt.
Ella, 26, opened up about her family in a Sept. 10 interview with Extra. She is the daughter of legendary actors Annette Bening and Warren Beatty. Warren, 89, followed in the footsteps of his older sister, Shirley MacLaine (who adapted her mother's maiden name for her stage name), when he got into acting. MacLaine, now 92, appeared on Broadway in the early 1950s as Warren was studying in New York City at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Megyn Kelly wants to see Erika Kirk step away from her role running Turning Point USA — because she wants the grieving mother of two to find time to heal.
Kelly shared her concern with Piers Morgan on the latter's Piers Morgan Uncensored, as the two discussed the one year anniversary of Charlie Kirk's ***** assination at a speaking event at Utah Valley University.
Morgan brought up a recent essay on grief Erika Kirk, 37, wrote last week for The New York Times:
PIERS MORGAN: And the reason I found it so powerful was it reminded us that there is a human being here, a wife and a mother who lost her husband, who she was obviously very in love with, the loving father of her kids and I think people have just treated her like some weird commodity for the last year.
Where they can say whatever they want about her. They can make any allegations about her. They can treat her as inhumanely as they like. And I'm just at a loss as to understand why? Why we have collectively, it seems, lost our humanity about this woman.

Any sports lover would know "trash talk" is pretty much part of the game. In fact, some believe one has to master the art so as to add intensity and rivalry to the game. As Team USA continues its 2026 FIBA World Cup campaign in Berlin, Germany, they have already found their "trash-talking queen" in the squad.
Fans are already loving the fun little content they get to watch every day while Team USA tries to defend their ***** le at the FIBA World Cup. These moments show a very different camaraderie among the players than what fans are used to seeing when these same players represent their respective WNBA sides.
While filming fun media content for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup, Team USA was asked who the "biggest trash talker" on their squad is. Unironically, many fingers pointed to one individual: Angel Reese.
Reese was overwhelmingly voted number one by her teammates for her constant in-game chatter, including Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, Aliyah Boston, and Paige Bueckers.
If fans can recall, Reese made headlines after the 2023 NCAA Championship game when she taunted Clark by pointing to her ring finger as the LSU Tigers closed in on the championship. Reese, who rarely stays silent on court, has made a reputation for trash-talking her rivals.

Klay Thompson is one half of the Splash Brothers. That's an identity **** ody can erase, no matter where he goes.
He and Stephen Curry tore up the league with their impeccable three-point shooting and turned the Golden State Warriors into a dynasty that won four **** les in less than a decade.
Unfortunately, their partnership had to come to an end. It has been two years since Thompson left the Warriors in hopes of winning another championship.
He has a chance to do that this season after signing with the Miami Heat following a buyout with the Dallas Mavericks. Thompson decided to start fresh in the Eastern Conference and join a storied franchise that now boasts a superstar in Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Heat fans are loving Thompson's arrival. They still expect him to make an impact from beyond the arc.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are preparing their eldest son Prince George to one day be king.
While George has his dad's guidance for certain experiences, like starting school at Eton College, his mom is playing a different role in his preparations, royal historian Marlene Koenig said.
"[Kate] is there to be the loving, supportive mom in everything George does, because he is her son first and foremost," Koenig explained.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are both fully prepared to guide their eldest son, Prince George, as he one day succeeds to the throne as king—but, as royal historian Marlene Koenig put it, the Princess of Wales has a "different role" in that preparation than her husband does.
Much like his father and uncle, Prince Harry, George has begun his first year at Eton College this September. Attending the famous all-boys boarding school is a royal tradition, and one that William has likely prepared his 13-year-old son for. Meanwhile, Kate is making sure to support George.

Well, there is something about first love. You don't forget it so easily, especially when the story begins with a suspenseful, romance-novel twist. That was certainly the case for social media star Alix Earle and New York Giants wide receiver Braxton Berrios. Earle originally sparked curiosity back in 2023 when she casually introduced him to her followers as the mysterious "NFL man" she was making sushi with. After nearly three years together, the fan-favorite couple officially called it quits last December.
As Earle decided to move on from that chapter of her life, she rented a big truck to move out of her ex-boyfriend's house two months after the breakup. With her best friend Sally in the passenger seat and Earle behind the wheel, the content creator discussed what went wrong between the couple.
"There's a ton of pressure that comes from, like, having a public relationship and sharing so much and people loving our relationship. But we were both busy in our careers and doing long distance at the time. We weren't talking as much. We were barely communicating. There was a lack of intimacy towards the end of the relationship, and it started to just, like, dwindle away a little bit,"Earle said on the first episode of reality series Earle Meets World, released on Friday on Netflix.
Earle and Berrios met at a Gatsby-themed party in Miami. A friend of Berrios approached Earle to tell her to talk to Berrios, so Earle walked up to Berrios, shoved her hand in his face, and asked, "You wanted to meet me?" The two eventually hit it off, but Earle had to leave the party early without saying goodbye to the WR.
Braxton Berrios keeps the drama going both on and off the field. Subscribe for more interesting stories.

On a cold November morning, designer Isaac Mizrahi gets up, leaves his apartment, and trudges to the corner newsstand to pick up a copy of Women's Wear Daily. It's the day after Mizrahi's Spring/Summer 1994 show, and the ink on the reviews is still wet. Reading from the pages, he quotes, "'His usually great color sense failed him, his fabric sense failed him, and certainly, his sense of how a modern woman dresses after 8 p.m. failed him." The verdict is withering. Mizrahi, one of the great artists of '90s ready-to-wear fashion, has been tossed out. Disgraced. Lightly "cancelled," as some might call it these days.
Douglas Keeve's sublime 1995 documentary, "Unzipped," follows Mizrahi in the aftermath of a train wreck, piecing his reputation back together with his next collection, attempting to make something beautiful from the rubble. We find Mizrahi's world in grayscale, drained of color in the wake of critical and cultural failure. Then, the opening notes of Sandra Bernhard's 1994 cover of Sylvester's "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" cue the pigmentation, cascading over bright images of models in fittings, garments hanging from racks, and plenty of DayGlo faux furs. In her version, Bernhard alters the lyrics to pay tribute to Sylvester, whose untimely death left an immense legacy. "Sylvester, sister," Bernhard coos, "You were so beautiful, you were so fragile, you were so . . . real."
But just before Bernhard finishes the word, the song fades to silence, as if to say that realness — genuine authenticity in your life and work, at the cost of criticism — will always be snuffed out before it can be fully appreciated. That is the price of beauty. What is up must always come down.
(Janus Films) Isaac Mizrahi in "Unzipped"
After years in cinematic obscurity — the film hasn't been readily available outside of the eBay market in decades — "Unzipped" will return to theaters later this month, with a loving 4K restoration from Janus Films, just as another fashion-world controversy is heating up. Earlier this week, the Metropolitan Museum of Art declared it would no longer proceed with its Costume Institute's upcoming exhibition honoring John Galliano, scheduled to debut next year. When the scrapped "John Galliano: Horizons" was announced in July, the exhibition was immediately met with an outpouring of criticism. Detractors accused the museum of being tone deaf, citing a 2011 video of Galliano going on a drunken antisemitic and racist rant at a Paris bar, for which Galliano was promptly ousted from his spot as creative director at Dior. Following the video surfacing, Galliano apologized, went to rehab, and, over the last few years, experienced a brand resurgence that some would call a whitewashing.

Winnie the Pooh probably isn't the investment guru that first comes to mind when you think about Wall Street. And yet he has offered some pretty sage investing advice: "Doing nothing often leads to the very best of something." The history of investing over the past 50 years very clearly shows that this fictional, honey-loving bear could be on to something. Here's why.
Turning to a real person, iconic investor Warren Buffett, the former CEO of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRKA)(NYSE: BRKB), has said that "Investing is not a game where the guy with the 160 IQ beats the guy with the 130 IQ. Once you have ordinary intelligence, what you need is the temperament to control the urges that get other people into trouble in investing."
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
The issue of temperament is where Buffett and Pooh intersect. That's because the S&P 500 index's (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) history shows that Wall Street switches between bull and bear markets in a zigzag fashion, while generally moving higher over time. The chart below shows that simply buying and holding the S&P 500 index would have yielded a positive long-term outcome if you had the temperament to do nothing while it gyrated in the short term.
In fact, Warren Buffett has actually suggested that most investors would be better off just buying the S&P 500 index and... doing nothing. That's not entirely true; Buffett would likely recommend continuing to regularly buy an S&P 500 index ETF, such as SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEMKT: SPY) or Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (NYSEMKT: VOO), regardless of market conditions.

HOLLYWOOD, CA - SEPTEMBER 30: Voiceover actor Peter Cullen at the Optimus Prime hand and footprint ceremony held at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on September 30, 2014 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Albert L. Ortega/Getty Images)
Peter Cullen, the Canadian voice actor whose deep, measured baritone gave Optimus Prime his voice across four decades of the Transformers franchise, died at his Los Angeles home He was 85. No cause of death was confirmed, and the passing was first reported by TMZ.
His family said in a statement, "Peter Cullen passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family — and held in the hearts of his many friends and countless fans worldwide. His family asks that you honor his remarkable legacy by serving your communities and leading others with compassion, integrity, and loyalty, and always remember: be strong enough to be gentle."
That last phrase — "be strong enough to be gentle" — was the advice Cullen's brother Larry gave him when he auditioned for the role of Optimus Prime in 1984. Cullen based the character's voice on Larry, a Marine veteran, deciding that a true leader's strength should carry warmth rather than aggression. The audition won him the long-running role.
Cullen's animation career began well before Transformers, voicing characters across Pac-Man, Rainbow Brite, Voltron, The Addams Family, and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers as Monterey Jack, and provided the vocal effects of the Predator in the ep 1987 film of the same name. He was also the voice of Eeyore in Disney's Winnie the Pooh properties for years, a role he described as among his favourites. Disney later turned to Brad Garrett for a couple of 2018 productions, though Cullen remained the character's primary voice elsewhere.

AnnaLynne McCord has married Danny Cipriani after the couple publicly asked fans to help fund their wedding. The 90210 alum shared the news in an Instagram Reel on Sunday. McCord said she married "the love of my life" the day before. She also called the wedding a blessing.
McCord and Cipriani launched a Honeyfund page last month to raise money for their wedding. The couple asked fans to give any amount toward their dream wedding and honeymoon. They quoted $100 for the marriage license, $1,000 for the rehearsal dinner and $1,200 for the flowers. The registry also allowed donations from $10 to $5,000.
The couple had raised $14,200 by Friday, according to The U.S. Sun. McCord told the outlet that she received "death threats" after launching the page. Some people called her "despicable," and she said others accused her of trying to get money from wedding guests. She also said some people donated $10 just to leave negative messages.
McCord confirmed her marriage in her Instagram video and called it "incredibly timeless." She praised every part of the event, from the rituals to the moments she shared with Cipriani. "Happy first day being AnnaLynne Cipriani to me," she said. The couple reportedly plans to hold two more wedding ceremonies in London and Cambodia.
After a long and on-and-off dating relationship, Cipriani proposed to McCord on Christmas Day 2025. The couple met on Raya, the celebrity dating app, and dated for years until 2020 when they parted ways. They reunited in 2024, and Cipriani shared their romance on Instagram in April. He called McCord his "Miracle" and wrote, "Loving you is the easiest thing in the world."

Look, I totally understand it. But you don't need to reiterate every day people. We understand. PayPal maybe a takeover candidate. Klarna is doing really great. SoFi, it's going to come back. Just stop. **** ysts stop recommending these. Let them go to where they are on the downside. And then you can recommend them. . .I really think that's what happened is that, thatPayPal, when we heard that it might get a takeover bid, it made everything really exciting to people. But I just think, no, just go buy Wells Fargo. Go buy JPMorgan over Klarna. Okay. Or over PayPal."
SoFi Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOFI)'s narrative surrounds its valuation. The firm's forward P/E ratio is 31.55, which is nearly double that of banking giant JPMorgan and more than 2x of PYPL's 11.79. The risk to SoFi Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOFI)'s valuation comes from its transformation into a digital bank from a student loan company. Therefore, the firm's Financial Services and Technology platforms are at the center of the narrative.
On this front, SoFi Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOFI)'s second quarter saw its two businesses grow net revenue by 29% and drop by 23% annually. Technology suffered as a large client transitioned away from the platform. SoFi Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOFI)'s management added that the two businesses should account for more than 50% of overall revenue over the long term. To sum it up, the firm's headwinds could stem from high deposit costs of sizable amount of funds, such as $45 billion in the latest quarter, while the capital light Financial Services business and fee-driven Technology Services could lead the way to growth.
Shifting towards PayPal Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:PYPL), it's all about turnaround versus acquisitions. The turnaround camp, of which its management is also a part of, hinges on improved checkout performance, AI modernization, cost savings and Venmo growth. Through these, PayPal Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:PYPL) aims to save $400 million in costs in 2026 and streamline headcount in 2027. Therefore, the firm could experience tailwinds should it achieve the stated $1.5 billion in gross run rate savings and generate earnings power.

Saturday's preseason win over the Browns was overshadowed by the news about Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver.
Before kickoff, general manager Brandon Beane issued a statement on behalf of the organization following the death of Oliver's son.
"On behalf of the entire Buffalo Bills organization, we want to publicly express our condolences to Ed Oliver and his family on the devastating loss of his son. It's an unthinkable tragedy for any parent. We will continue to support Ed and his family as we all grieve this tragic loss," Beane said.
Buffalo head coach Joe Brady opened his postgame press conference with Oliver rather than the game.
"As a coach, as a father, it's my job to be what he needs from me right now," Brady said. "And that's loving him and giving him the privacy that he deserves, and whatever it looks like, no matter how someone might want to handle it, it's however he wants us to handle it."

The Bills and defensive tackle Ed Oliver had decided not to announce that Oliver's young son had died in late June. The news was reported on Friday. It forced the Bills to acknowledge it on Saturday.
After Saturday's preseason game, coach Joe Brady addressed the situation.
"I'm a parent, right?" Brady told reporters. "And ever since I found out, it's really hard and I can't fathom what he's going through. There's really not words to describe it. As a coach, as a father, it's my job to be what he needs right now, and that's loving him and giving him the privacy that he deserves. Whatever it looks like, no matter how someone might want to handle it, it's however he wants us to handle it, and go through it."
The apparent justification for reporting the development before Oliver or the Bills could announce it arose from the perception that the Bills possibly were attributing his absence from the team to a phantom injury.
"[H]e's not here right now because of an injury and he's dealing with that," Brady said. "This wasn't the reason why he's not here, but it's unfortunate, the way that it came out, but I respect a lot of you guys and you might have known about it, and [the way you] handled it. That's part of journalism as well, but I appreciate your guys' hearts and understanding the human elements of it. It's hard. You know, it's hard when I see him and I can't imagine. I haven't had the words since, and I don't really have the words, but all I can do is just be there for him . . . in whatever way that he needs."
