Megyn Kelly wants to see Erika Kirk step away from her role running Turning Point USA — because she wants the grieving mother of two to find time to heal.
Kelly shared her concern with Piers Morgan on the latter's Piers Morgan Uncensored, as the two discussed the one year anniversary of Charlie Kirk's ***** assination at a speaking event at Utah Valley University.
Morgan brought up a recent essay on grief Erika Kirk, 37, wrote last week for The New York Times:
PIERS MORGAN: And the reason I found it so powerful was it reminded us that there is a human being here, a wife and a mother who lost her husband, who she was obviously very in love with, the loving father of her kids and I think people have just treated her like some weird commodity for the last year.
Where they can say whatever they want about her. They can make any allegations about her. They can treat her as inhumanely as they like. And I'm just at a loss as to understand why? Why we have collectively, it seems, lost our humanity about this woman.
