The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is one of the most anticipated upcoming book-to-screen adaptations on the 2026 movie schedule, and the press tour is already off to a great start thanks to Mckenna Grace. She plays one of the District 12 tributes alongside Joseph Zada's Haymitch Abernathy; however, in real life she's serving all the fashion looks better than the Capitol can.
The 20-year-old is set to play Maysilee Donner, who is the first tribute to wear the Mockingjay pin. Check out all these Hunger Games looks she's donned lately as the movie's press tour kicks off:
Move over, Katniss, there's a new Girl on Fire! The actress shared four amazing looks on her Instagram. The first one is a flirty sheer blue mini-dress. I especially love the floral socks and pointy heels to pair with it. Grace also wore another dress in a shade of baby blue that featured ruffles and a cute black bow in the front. The third dress is a white mini dress with bows down the middle and lace detailing at the top. And the last one is a simple black dress with a zipper in the front and knee-high tights.

Tommy McMillen and Marwan Rahiki turned in one of the best featherweight fights ever earlier today (Sat., Sept. 12, 2026) at Noche UFC 4 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, as the two prospects stood toe-to-toe and unleashed everything they had.
Both fighters came into this fight with something to prove. For McMillen, it was his chance to prove he's the real deal at 145 pounds and not just an exciting fighter from the Contender Series. For Rahiki, he was out to showcase his own potential in the UFC's talent-rich featherweight division and that he should get a bigger push from matchmakers instead of McMillen. It was a recipe for unfiltered chaos and that's exactly what fight fans witnessed.
The first round was a back-and-forth affair full of combinations and exchanges in close. McMillen showcased some of his wrestling along the way, but Rahiki did well to get back to his feet. The second round was even crazier as Rahiki landed a massive uppercut that sent McMillen crashing to the canvas. Rahiki chased McMillen all over the cage in search of a finish, but "Gun" somehow survived. It was a true testament to McMillen's heart, toughness, and elite cardio.
McMillen returned the favor in the third round when he regained momentum with a huge knockdown in the center of the Octagon. From there, McMillen was on cruise control. He attacked with chokes, combinations in the clinch, knees inside, and all-out pressure. Rahiki was fading for sure, but he somehow hung in long enough to hear the final buzzer sound. It was one of the wildest three-round fights you'll ever see and another reason why McMillen is one of the quickest rising stars in the sport.
In the end, McMillen walked away with the unanimous decision win. Check out the video highlights below and let us know if McMillen can maintain this pace as he further climbs the 145-pound ladder.

More than 30 years ago, all over the walls of a high school about an hour west of downtown San Antonio, the signs started appearing.
In breezeways, next to lockers, and around the cafeteria, the motivational slogans kept popping up, some scrawled in magic marker on poster board, and others printed out on long sheets of dot-matrix paper. They were hung by a D'Hanis baseball coach who wanted to remind students that they could win anything with the "RIGHT MENTAL ATTITUDE," and that "PRESSURE MAKES DIAMONDS," and that "WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GET GOING."
A bunch of clichés, maybe, but harmless ones. The coach meant well, and his team wound up winning state.
One of his colleagues, though, was a world-class wiseacre, and couldn't resist the opportunity to poke fun. Bill Lovett coached boys basketball and taught history. And above the chalkboard in his classroom one day, there was a long dot-matrix printout bearing a slogan of his own creation.
"AN ELEPHANT IN DISGUISE IS STILL BIG," it read.

Sep. 12—CADDO — It's been a long time coming for the East Lawrence Eagles.
Over the past five years, the Eagles (3-1, 2-0) haven't put together more than three wins in a single season.
But just four weeks into this year, and they're already there.
With a 34-6 win over Oakman on Friday, East Lawrence has won three straight and got its second win in Class 3A, Region 5.
"We're hungry. There's so much excitement in that locker room," East Lawrence running back Chantler Bolding said. "People always doubt us because of our past, and we're changing that."

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — They have been bickering among themselves for three years now. The best part of it is, ***** ody really knows who's right, who's wrong and, most importantly, who's going to win whenever they step onto the track to let their running do the talking.
The latest chapter in the most intriguing show in track and field — the men's 1,500 meters — takes place Sunday at the Ultimate Championship, with the winner getting a check for $150,000.
Will it be Josh Kerr, the new mile world-record holder from Scotland?
Or Cole Hocker, the American who barged his way into this conversation with a shocker of a win two years ago at the Paris Olympics?
Or Jakob Ingebrigtsen, the Norwegian who seems to have an opinion about everything?

Gabriel insists ******* nal are not satisfied with winning the Premier League last season, and they have their sights set on several more trophies as a team, with many people tipping them to dominate both domestic and European football.
The Gunners finished second in three consecutive seasons before finally winning the league, and in the same season, they reached the final of the Carabao Cup and the Champions League. It was one of the best periods in the club's history, as they continued to perform consistently well under their manager.
Arteta is keen to ensure ******* nal perform at a high level during this campaign as well. The manager recognises the importance of maintaining certain standards, but his players understand this too, and they have returned for the new season as hungry as possible.
Their start to this season has been impressive, and many expect them to add more ******* les to their cabinet when the campaign ends next summer. Gabriel will be an important part of that challenge, and the defender has made it clear that the players are determined to achieve more after winning the Premier League.
Arsenal's ambition is not limited to one competition, with the squad aiming to challenge for the major trophies available to them. Gabriel believes the desire to win must remain strong, particularly because the players themselves welcome the pressure that comes with representing the club.

The Chicago Bears head into Year 2 of the Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson era. They earned a ton of success in the first year of this QB-coach partnership, and this season they are hungry for much more. Another Trojan alumnus, Sam Darnold, made history last season, becoming the first Trojan quarterback to start in and win the Super Bowl. Caleb Williams will try to join Sam as a Super Bowl winner this season.
Here is how Week 1 will pan out for Caleb Williams and the Bears:
The Carolina Panthers' pass defense ranks 28th in the NFL heading into this season. They will be no match for Caleb and the young pass catchers he has. Caleb Williams has weapons with the versatility and speed to find the end zone early and often in this game. I expect each of the Bears' pass catchers to make a couple of plays. Caleb and Ben Johnson will lean on the pass attack, and big plays will set the tone in this game. Caleb will finish with 300 passing yards on Sunday.
All training camp long, Caleb Williams was finding Colston Loveland. Loveland carved up the Bears' defense every practice, it seemed. The trust is there between the two potential stars. Their connection will be special this season, and I think they will get off to a hot start against Carolina. Loveland will explode for 100 yards receiving in Game 1 and will help Caleb get over 300 yards through the air with ease.
The Bears' passing attack will be lethal on Sunday. Caleb Williams will deliver a top-quarterback-level performance. The run game will be a very big complement to it. This game has a very good chance of being a high-scoring type of game. The Bears' offense will showcase why it had a lot of excitement and high expectations heading into the season. Everyone on the offense has a year under their belt with Ben Johnson. That experience will bode extremely well for the Bears this year. It will be evident in Game 1. I think the Bears will win this game in part due to their offense, and the Bears' offense will finish the week being viewed as the best in the league.

The opening round at the Irish Open delivered a brutal test of patience and precision. Trump International Golf Links & Hotel, Ireland, saw play slowed significantly across the field as strong winds dominated the conditions. Defending champion Rory McIlroy managed to stay in the hunt, carding a 1-under 69 despite a costly double bogey on the 13th hole. While he sits four shots behind the leader, his position remains viable heading into the second day. The defending champion knows the margin for error is slim when the elements turn hostile. He remains tied for 17th place, a spot that offers hope but demands immediate improvement to challenge for the **** le.
According to GolfMagic, Joaquin Niemann seized the early lead with a spectacular 5-under 65. The LIV Golf standout made his move with four consecutive birdies from the 14th to the 17th holes. His drive on the 14th landed a mere three feet from the cup, creating a simple birdie opportunity that propelled his charge. Niemann's sole mistake was a bogey on the 12th following a three-putt. When asked about the experience, he noted, "It was a lot of fun out there."It's a really tricky course and a really fun golf course to play, especially with the Irish weather, he also praised the layout, stating. Despite the pressure of chasing the leader, Niemann capitalized on the scoring opportunities while others struggled.
Rory McIlroy's round told a different story of resilience. His tee shot at the 13th rolled into a bunker, hit the lip, and came back into the sand. His second shot then hit below the lip, skipped out of the sand, and landed on the fairway, yet the damage was done with a double bogey. Playing alongside Brooks Koepka, who shot a 75 after a triple bogey start, McIlroy faced a difficult back nine. Koepka's struggles on the opening hole highlighted how the high grass and wind punished errant shots. Despite his own errors, McIlroy managed to finish under par. "I hung in there, shot under par, and at least don't feel like I'm out of the tournament," he admitted. He added, "A good day tomorrow gets me right back in it."
Shane Lowry provided a local perspective on the day's difficulty. According to ESPN, Lowry finished at 67 and remained bogey-free on the back nine. He was tied with Shaun Norris. Lowry faced the same darkness issues as others, noting, "I honestly didn't think we were going to get finished." That's probably the longest round of golf I ever played, in a three-ball, anyway. I'm happy with my score."I felt like I did a solid job of making pars and trying to get to the clubhouse as quick as I could," he explained his strategy, saying. Meanwhile, Adrian Meronk was at 3 under but unable to finish before darkness fell. Patrick Reed shot 68 in the challenging conditions.
The gap between McIlroy and Niemann is significant but not insurmountable. Four shots is a manageable deficit in a four-round event, provided the weather cooperates. McIlroy's ability to recover from the bunker disaster

Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels had a very successful 2024 season that ended in disappointment in Philadelphia.
The Commanders had won two road playoff games, and winning the third consecutive road playoff game was out of the question that day in the NFC Championship Game as the Eagles routed the Commanders 55-23. So one reporter asked Commanders head coach Dan Quinn on Friday about Daniels' hunger to win and what Quinn has observed.
Injured in 2025, Daniels was not able to take the field against the Eagles in either game in 2025. So this is Daniels' first return facing the Eagles since that 2024 NFC ******* le game. "I think it honestly started like towards the end of the season last year," replied Quinn. "That is where it began. But from that point, (there are) new systems and changes which are hard to go through. He's consistently working at it and going after it; it demonstrates readiness. He was more accurate than he's ever been."
Yes, both Quinn and offensive coordinator David Blough have referenced this offseason how Daniels has worked hard to learn and master the new offense. Both have also referred to Daniels' accuracy throughout training camp.
"So, those are the things that I saw. He's always just a confident player, and he's clutch. So, like those things, I wouldn't say they come natural to him, but they are at the forefront. But all the unseen work that went into it- he's gotten stronger, he's gotten bigger." It's no secret the Commanders are concerned with Daniels being injured so often in 2025. They are encouraged that he worked this offseason to get stronger.

An AI-hungry Google (GOOG, GOOGL) isn't playing nice with one of the largest content publishers on the internet.
"Here's the truth. For a long time, we had a deal with Google, an unwritten deal, which was 'you can use our content to build your search product, and in return, we get sessions,'" People Inc. (PPLI) CEO Neil Vogel told Yahoo Finance from the Goldman Sachs Communacopia & Tech Conference (video above). "Now the search product has turned into an AI product by and large, and they still use our content to train their AI, both in real time and in a training way — we don't have to get into the AI terminology of it — but now they don't share anything with us."
Google's push into AI-powered summaries has upended search traffic for publishers. Many fear the situation will get worse, triggering more sweeping cost cuts among many players in 2026.
Vogel said the company has signed content licensing deals with Microsoft (MSFT), Meta (META), and OpenAI (OPAI.PVT). Ideally, he would also like to ink one with Google.
He stopped short of saying he would turn off Google from crawling People's content.

Team USA opened the knockout round and made World Cup history. Yet, its job in Berlin remains unfinished.
The Americans are one of the last four teams standing with a ticket to Sunday's gold-medal game now on the line.
Team USA faces Spain in Saturday's World Cup semifinals (2 p.m. ET) for a chance to advance to one last game. France and Germany face off in the other semifinal (10:30 a.m. ET). The two winners will move on to the gold medal game, while the two losers will play for third place.
The United States has advanced to the gold-medal game in each of the last four World Cups, winning it all each time. The last time the U.S. failed to make the gold-medal game was in 2006, when it defeated Brazil for bronze.

Ex-Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor once faced unexpected resistance from a royal family aide. Despite losing his prince **** le and royal honors, the palace staffer's actions reportedly left the disgraced royal shocked. King Charles later revoked Prince Andrew's royal status as the monarchy faced continued backlash over his ties to convicted **** offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Former Buckingham Palace press secretary **** ie Arbiter has recalled a never-before-heard clash with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
During his appearance on the Daily Expresso podcast, Arbiter revealed that he rejected one of Andrew's demands during a royal garden party. He later hung up on the ex-prince after the ousted royal slammed the phone down on him.
The episode unfolded at Buckingham Palace during the Lambeth Conference, the decennial summit of Anglican bishops. Around 100 clergy in crimson robes were in attendance when Andrew rang Arbiter with an idea for a picture.
The former palace official shared, "He phoned me up one day during a garden party at Buckingham Palace and said, 'Get some chairs out because I've got a good idea for a photograph.' There were about 100 priests in their crimson frocks at the garden party, and he thought it would make a good picture of the Queen with all the clergy around her. I just said, 'No, it's not your garden party.'"

NEW DELHI: Mohammed Shami may be in the latter phase of his career, but the veteran pacer believes young Indian cricketers are arriving with a level of maturity that means they need less coaching and more timely guidance.

Shami, who has not played for India since March 2025 and last featured in a Test during the World Test Championship final against Australia at The Oval in 2023, spoke about mentoring youngsters after helping East Zone win the Duleep Trophy final against South Zone.

Among those who caught his attention was Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, the teenage batter who was part of the East Zone squad.
"I thoroughly enjoyed it. The kid in our team (Vaibhav Sooryavanshi) is literally as old as my career. He has that youthful innocence, loves to joke around, and absorbs things quickly," Shami said.

The 36-year-old believes the exposure young players receive today, particularly through the IPL and other high-pressure competitions, has accelerated their development.

"But most of these youngsters are already quite mature. With the level of cricket they play today—featuring in the IPL and other high-pressure tournaments—maturity comes early, so you don't need to over-coach them," he said.

"But yes, when the game gets tight and challenging, that's when you step in with tactical inputs and remind them to keep fighting," he added.

Shami's own motivation, meanwhile, remains undiminished despite his prolonged absence from India colours.

"There are plenty of reasons to stay motivated if you look for them. At this level, if you aren't self-motivated, your approach is wrong. No matter what stage you're playing at, your eyes must always be set on the next level," he said.
Shami took two important wickets, dismissing Ravichandran Smaran and Sheikh Rasheed, as East Zone secured the Duleep Trophy ******* le on the basis of a first-innings lead. The triumph also coincided with his 100th first-class appearance.

"As far as satisfaction goes, achieving this in my 100th match—and that too in a winning Duleep Trophy final—is special. East Zone has won this after a very long time. You've seen how we performed.

"Every single boy put his heart and soul into this campaign to get us here. To achieve this in these conditions, in this heat, is outstanding. As for me, whether it's your first match or your 100th, it doesn't matter—the effort and the approach remain exactly the same," he said.

Shami also stressed that the level of cricket does not change his approach.

"When you wear that crest on your chest, the level of cricket doesn't matter. If you play for the badge, that hunger will naturally show. Your willingness to fight only grows when you play with that pride.

"My mindset is simple: whichever level I get an opportunity to play, I want to make it count and fulfil my responsibility toward the team," he said.

Double Olympic Taekwondo champion Jade Jones is determined to prove that age will not hold her back as the 33-year-old prepares to box Hungarian MMA fighter Sheena Bathory on 12 September.
Welsh competitor Jones announced herself to the boxing world back in February with a second-round knockout against reality TV star Egypt Criss, before then dispatching Argentine influencer FederiKita in May to take her record to 2-0.
After her winning start, Jones, will now face her toughest test yet as she prepares to face Bathory for the Misfits super middleweight ***** le at Newcastle's Utilita Arena.
Since beginning her boxing career at 31-years-old, the fearless Jones hopes she can inspire others with her journey.
"I wanted to show people that you shouldn't be scared of failing and trying. People do think 'oh you're 33', and I did start to feel like that at the end of my Taekwondo career, that I'm older now and I've kind of passed the line," said Jones.

The Rockies hung around for most of Thursday night at Yankee Stadium.
Then the seventh inning happened.
Colorado had just pulled within two runs when the Yankees answered with six in the bottom half, capped by Anthony Volpe's grand slam, and turned a quiet, almost competitive game into a 10-3 rout.
The loss completed a three-game sweep and dropped the Rockies to 55-91, while New York improved to 84–62. John Schreiber earned the win for the Yankees, while Ryan Feltner fell to 5-10.
For much of the night, though, the final score did not match the feel of the game. The Yankees grabbed an early lead, but Feltner settled in, Colorado kept finding small openings and New York never quite put the game away.

Ohio State vs. Texas prediction, odds, pick for Week 2 blockbuster appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
In the past, an early-season game between top-ranked Ohio State and No. 4 Texas might have been classified as an elimination game. The winner would emerge as a potential favorite to end up as the national champion while the loser would somehow try to convince itself that there was still something to play for even though it went down to defeat against a superior opponent.
That's no longer the case as the College Football Playoff will give the loser of this game another chance — as long as it can rebound from the loss and show dominance in the majority of its remaining games.
Ohio State and Texas have played each other in the last two seasons and Ryan Day's Buckeyes have gotten the best of the Longhorns each time. Steve Sarkisian should have his team primed for a huge effort as Ohio State travels to Austin this time before the Longhorns' loud and hungry fans.

Malik Nabers' injury update could make Giants fans very nervous originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The New York Giants want to win, and this fanbase is hungry for some victories after last season's 4-13 finish. One way to help the case is having wide receiver Malik Nabers healthy and ready to go for the team's first game of the season.
The Giants open their season on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, so this isn't just any season opener. This is two teams who pretty much hate each other, at least in a rivalry way, going at it to get the first win of the regular season.
Nabers suffered a season-ending torn ACL and meniscus injury in September 2025 against the Los Angeles Chargers. So, will he be back on Sunday to open the Giants' season?
On Thursday, Nabers offered up an injury update, but it was more of a non-update, because he didn't say anything that should make New York any less nervous.

Jennifer Lawrence has finally joined Instagram – but not before issuing a warning.
Despite being one of the biggest movie stars working today, Lawrence has gone without much presence on social media in the decade-plus of her career. That changed when she went live on Wednesday night with her new Instagram – under the jlaw tag since jenniferlawrence was already taken.
She posted a video on Thursday explaining the choice but also warning her followers if things took a turn for the toxic she'd be gone.
"So yeah, I am giving it a shot and if anyone says anything negative I will quit immediately, no questions asked," Lawrence said in her first post to the feed. "If anyone thinks something mean, I will know and I will quit."
"The Hunger Games" star doubled down on her threat. An all-text story post followed her initial video asking that her followers "be mindful" and keep things positive. Because it would be harmful if things trended into the negative.

China's largest new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer BYD Auto reported an 18% rise in global sales to 440,293 units in August 2026, marking the fourth consecutive month of growth for the company following eight months of declines. Last month's growth followed a 22% surge in July, as overseas sales continued to strengthen - offsetting continued weak demand and fast-rising competition in its home market.
Domestic sales fell by 14% year-on-year to 250,827 units in August, while overseas sales surged by 134% to 189,466 vehicles, accounting for 43% of the company's global sales.
In the first eight months of 2026, BYD sold a total of 2,668,015 vehicles globally, down by almost 7% from last year's 2,863,876 units, with domestic sales plunging by 33% to 1,505,755 units from 2,233,148 units in the same period last year. Overseas sales surged by 86% to 1,162,260 units year-to-date, after growing by 130% to 630,728 units previously.
BYD is in the process of switching its products to its second-generation Blade Battery, which features flash charging capabilities. The transition has caused some production bottlenecks in recent months, according to local reports. The company is also expanding its presence in the premium BEV segment, with the launch of the Dynasty Da Tang D-segment flagship SUV in July.
BYD has set a target of further increasing its overseas sales to 2.5 million vehicles in 2027, up from an expected 2.0 million units in 2026, helped by an expanded shipping fleet and rising production abroad, with the company's plant in Hungary scheduled to become operational in the fourth quarter of 2026.

BERLIN — Caitlin Clark extended her hand to a United States teammate in the first quarter of the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup quarterfinal game against Hungary. It was a gesture of appreciation for the connection that had just occurred.
Seconds earlier, Paige Bueckers recorded a steal from Hungary's Yvonne Turner. Bueckers' pass met Clark, and like clockwork, she was off. Clark found her way to the paint where 6-foot-4 Dorka Juhasz stood as the last line of defense. Faced with an easy decision, Clark dished the ball to Angel Reese, who went up for the layup with two seconds to go, bringing the U.S. to the end of the first quarter with a 36-12 lead.
As Clark reached out her hand, Reese met it with simplicity and normalcy. This would be the first of four total ****** ists between Clark and Reese in an overwhelming 108-56 U.S. victory.
In a world that continues to divide these two athletes, the World Cup has offered another viewpoint, one that seems all the more true. It is a stage that presents these women as selfless competitors, and more simply as teammates.
In a post-game interview with TNT, Reese remarked on her connection with Clark, saying "We've played against each other so many times, so I'm sure we know each other's game like the back of each other's hand."

This would be the first of four total ***** ists between Clark and Reese in an overwhelming 108-56 U.S.

Caitlin Clark is on the verge of breaking a longstanding Team USA record at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup.
She delivered 10 points and nine ******* ists as the United States beat Hungary 108-56 in the World Cup quarter-final on Thursday.
Besides an unusually bad performance against Italy in the group stage, Clark has consistently been one of the USA's best players.
Although her focus will be on the team winning the gold medal, she may also be interested in making some World Cup history.

Sept 8 (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court declined on Tuesday to reinstate a Republican-drawn congressional map in Missouri ahead of November's midterm elections, dealing a setback to President ‌Donald Trump and the party's odds of maintaining its slim majority in the House of Representatives.
Conservative ‌Justice Brett Kavanaugh denied Missouri's emergency request to suspend a state Supreme Court ruling that blocked the map, a decision that preserves the Kansas City-based seat of longtime Democratic Representative Emanuel Cleaver, whose district would have been dismantled under the redrawn boundaries.
Kavanaugh, who handles emergency matters from Missouri and several other states, did not refer the matter to the nine-member court before issuing the decision.
Missouri Republicans adopted the map as part of a broader effort backed by ‌Trump to redraw congressional districts in ways that could benefit Republican candidates.
