While appearing on Caring for Women Dinner's red carpet on Thursday, Domingo said men should stand with women. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he said, "Anytime I've been in rooms like this, I've thought, 'Look at all these female leaders' — but hey, we're the men. Men should be locking arms to make sure women have what they need in access and information and support. I was raised a feminist, and I'll die a feminist."
The actor also shared that supporting such organizations is important for him. He added, "It's always been important to me to stand firm with these organizations — not only in support, but with my presence."
Domingo served as master of ceremonies at the fifth annual fundraiser. Caring for Women Dinner is organized by Kering, the luxury conglomerate, with luxury brands including Gucci, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, and others.

We've seen plenty of "no fighting until the fight" stipulations, but this is the first time I can remember both wrestlers immediately brawling once they were in the ring together to pay off a month's worth of tension.
Orton and Rhodes hit all the high notes, with the duo matching intensities throughout a hard-hitting bout. Rhodes teased the punt to Orton, but once he couldn't pull the trigger, the wily veteran Orton took advantage and found an opening for the win.
I'm really interested to see where we go from here. This story feels similar to what played out in the run-up to WrestleMania, with Rhodes needing to find another gear and using heel-like tactics in the actual match to retain his WWE **** le. The trailblazing feminist activist died at her home in New York City on Wednesday. She was 92.
Following the sad news, Fonda issued a heartfelt statement via Instagram.

"(Gloria) had a clever, often funny way to say just what was needed to surface feelings and ideas about where we belonged, what our inchoate yearnings meant, whether power was a word that women could and should embrace for ourselves, and how different power looked when held in men's hands alone."
While her own message, Barbra recalled how she was "deeply impressed" by Gloria from the moment they met in the 1970s.

The Tennessee ******* ans hosted the Chicago Bears for their third and final preseason game of 2026 on Saturday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. It was a rough start, with the ******* ans going three-and-out, followed by a Bears' 97-yard touchdown pass on the first play of the next drive.
The Bears never really looked back after that, and while the ******* ans fought back later in the game, they ultimately fell short and lost 24-15.
Part of the reason the ******* ans managed to fight back was because of the play of second-year edge rusher Femi Oladejo.
Oladejo's name was called several times during the game after making plays that halted the progress of the Bears' offense, and that's why he's been named this week's ******* ans Wire Player of the Game.
Oladejo recorded four tackles (two solo), one sack, one quarterback hit, and one tackle for a loss. But the key to those stats is when they occurred. After the Bears successfully converted on fourth down four times, Oladejo was responsible for stopping them on their fifth attempt. That forced them to turn the ball over on downs, and the ******* ans kicked their third field goal on the next drive.

Parton's looks on stage and off reflected both her Tennessee roots and her embodiment of over-the-top feminine glamour, an aesthetic articulated in her album **** le and self-anointed nickname "Backwoods Barbie." She was rarely seen without long acrylic nails, a full face of makeup, and heapings of glitter.
The prolific musician, actor and philanthropist, who died on Tuesday at 80 years old, always had a tongue-in-cheek response to criticisms about her larger-than-life sense of style. She quipped about her hair being a fire hazard, would play her hit '9 to 5' with nothing but her fire red acrylic nails as the instrument, and she unabashedly loved flashy clothes: shoulder pads, plunging necklines, a cinched waist, lace were all sartorial non-negotiables for the singer. But she paired it with a keen sense of self-awareness that only made her devout fanbase love her more.

"When I moved to Nashville in 1964, I already had some ideas about what I wanted to look like onstage — and off," she wrote in her book "Behind the Seams" in 2023. "Country stars had to have big hair and some sparkles, and you had to have a Cadillac. I had the big hair but not yet the Cadillac — or enough sparkles." She related to the clothes worn by famous fixtures on stage of the Grand Ole Opry, like Jean Shepard and didn't shy away from the unconventional things that influenced her, telling People she even took inspiration from the famously risqué Frederick's of Hollywood catalogs she flipped through when she was young.

Dolly Parton's voluminous hair and rhinestone-festooned outfits were so essential to her fame that her quips about her appearance have become almost as well-known as her lyrics.
"It costs a lot of money to look this cheap" is perhaps her most memorable quotation, and is typical of the self-depreciating wit she employed to talk about her appearance.
She wrote about her style in her songs, too, from her 1967 hit Dumb Blonde to 2008's Backwoods Barbie, though in reality there was nothing cheap, or dumb, about her image. With huge blond status wigs – Tennessee by way of the court of Versailles – a fondness for glitter and high heels and tightly cut clothes that showed off her exaggerated proportions, she made herself as recognizable as Coca-Cola while employing and subverting the tropes of femininity and of country music.
Parton never failed to poke fun at her own appearance. Her hair was a "fire hazard", she would say, or "I'm not a fashion icon; I'm an eyesore" – but her look was highly deliberate. Never once did she waver from the aesthetic she described to Allure in 2020 as "gaudy, flamboyant, fun, comfortable – for me – noticeable".
Parton grew up in poverty, in rural Sevier county, Tennessee, one of 12 children. One of her most moving songs – Coat of Many Colors – recalled that experience through her memory of the clothing her mother made for her from scraps.

Last week, former NBA players Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White demanded they be officially declared eligible for the 2027 WNBA draft. White, who recently lost the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by retiring Minnesota Sen. Tina Smith, has claimed to be transgender and argued that he should be allowed to play in the women's league. "I identify as sometimes identifying as a woman for purposes of … professional basketball," he told Fox News.
White also posted pictures of himself wearing a wig, stating that he was embracing his "feminine era."
Designed to mock the trans community and troll the organization and its inclusion and self-identification policies, the former NBA players suggested they would take legal action if blocked from the WNBA draft.
They're among the legions of attention seekers, influencers, news media and activists taking sides in a culture war over something that's not even close to happening: the WNBA's inclusion of transgender athletes. To be clear, no transgender players are slated to become part of the league's roster. A right-wing uproar over an imagined threat. Where have we seen this before?

Tennessee ****** ans coach Robert Saleh announced that third-year defensive end Jaylen Harrell and rookie tight end Jaren Kanak will both be put on season-ending injured reserve with injuries sustained in the preseason opener against the San Francisco 49ers on Aug. 13.
Harrell, who logged 4.5 sacks for the ****** ans as a rotational outside linebacker in 2025, tore his ACL and Kanak, the ****** ans' seventh-round pick in 2026, tore his pectoral muscle.
Without Harrell, the ****** ans' depth pieces off the defensive edge don't have too much name recognition. Veteran free agent adds Malik Herring and Earnest Brown IV are possibilities to fill the spot Harrell leaves behind. The ****** ans did fill the room with new blood atop the depth chart, though, with Jermaine Johnson II, Jacob Martin and first-round pick Keldric Faulk joining former second-round pick Oluwafemi Oladejo as the heart of the rotation.
Kanak had been getting play as a rotational tight end with the second- and third-team offenses and also played multiple positions in the backfield like fullback and H-back. Most of Kanak's use was expected to be on special teams. Without Kanak, the ****** ans' options at tight end behind starters Gunnar Helm and Daniel Bellinger include David Martin-Robinson, Kylen Granson and Joel Wilson.
In other injury news, defensive linemen John Franklin-Myers and Jackie Marshall returned to practice on Aug. 15 for individual drills after missing time. Neither participated in team activities.

The idea of a Disney princess stirs up a certain image. Whether they're animated or live-action, Disney princesses are typically ******* ociated with glamorous, elaborate ballgowns, ultra-feminine silhouettes, and show-stopping accessories. Sometimes, the actors who bring these princesses to life fit the brief on the red carpet, channeling that regal energy. But other times, their real-life style takes a completely unexpected turn, away from the safe boundaries of Disney.
In most cases, actors who portray Disney princesses are expected to meet the royal brief on the red carpet at least while doing press for the movie. We saw this with Lily James, who transformed her public-facing style around 2015 to better embody her character of Cinderella. "Lily is a tomboy in the way that she dresses normally, and she wasn't fully into princess-ing it up as much as we have," her stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray told Fashionista that year. "We saw after everyone's reaction from the first dress in Berlin that people wanted to see Cinderella, so we decided to do a switcheroo with the dresses and really went for that enchanted princess theme." However, not long after the press surrounding the live-action remake of "Cinderella" died down, James cultivated a wardrobe that felt more authentic to her, swapping full skirts and whimsical details for bold cutouts and earthy palettes.
That said, some Disney actors maintain the fairy-tale-coded aesthetic for years, forever throwing it back on the red carpet to their princess characters. Both approaches can make for a high-fashion moment, whether the stars keep it magical or move into edgier territory. From Kristen Bell's stylish nods to "Frozen" to Anika Noni Rose's sculptural moment, these red-carpet looks are the best of the bunch.
