The purchase comes barely a week after Duolingo reported earnings, and the deal is in line with what management focused on in its earnings call transcript. Management linked the 23% year-over-year (YoY) growth in daily active users to product improvements. CEO Luis von Ahn reinforced the point, saying the results back the company's strategy to improve the product and prioritize user growth. Current-user retention also hit an all-time high, with von Ahn noting that a better product is both bringing learners back and keeping them there.

After Blueface did the same to his son, the rapper can be heard telling Nevaeh, "I barely even kicked you," to which she responded, "You kicked me?"

The Indiana Fever guard announced a new partnership with Once Upon a Coconut on Monday, adding the beverage company to an expanding endorsement portfolio that already includes Adidas, Arby's, Marriott Bonvoy and European Wax Center.
Cunningham revealed the deal through a playful Instagram post featuring several photos of her posing with the company's coconut water.
"Sip happens, stay hydrated," Cunningham wrote.
She also identified chocolate and pineapple as her two favorite flavors. Cunningham compared the chocolate drink to chocolate milk and described the pineapple option as "fresh and clean." Hayden Panettiere's final Instagram post captured a playful moment with a friend just three weeks before the Heroes and Nashville actress died at age 36.
Panettiere shared the black-and-white photo on July 27, posing alongside director and photographer Randall Slavin. "Good times and good friends randallslavin ✨," she wrote, according to PEOPLE.
The image showed Panettiere with her hands on Slavin's shoulder, one eye closed and her tongue out as he wrapped an arm around her. After news of her death emerged, Slavin reshared the photograph to his Instagram Stories with the short message, "Peace be with you, H."
Panettiere's family confirmed her death on Aug. 16. She had spent much of 2026 back in the public eye, releasing her memoir, promoting new screen work and speaking candidly in interviews about her life after decades of growing up in entertainment.
The July 27 photo was the final post visible on Panettiere's Instagram feed before her death. There was only the brief reference to good times and friendship and a tag for Slavin.
