India's T20I series against the West Indies has exposed the vulnerability of the hosts' pace unit, with flat pitches, dew and short boundaries proving a punishing combination for bowlers.

West Indies' stunning 250-run chase in Ranchi, completed with nine **** to spare, prompted a stern **** sment from India head coach Gautam Gambhir.

"These bowlers are our bowlers, not someone else's bowlers. Their careers are at stake," he had said, underlining the scrutiny facing the attack.

With the exception of Indore, where India successfully defended 223, the bowlers struggled to contain a fearless West Indies batting line-up. Automattic has a new interim chief financial officer: Jeremy Klaperman, the CFO of the company's WordPress VIP Enterprise business unit. The news, shared internally on Friday, follows last week's attempted ouster of Automattic CEO Matt Mullenweg, which ultimately resulted in the departure of the board members who voted him out and other executives, including then-CFO Mark Davies. Davies was briefly interim CEO before Mullenweg retook the position.
In a Slack post, Mullenweg shared that Klaperman had previously acted as Automattic CFO when Davies had been on sabbatical. He noted that the board — whose new members have yet to be announced — will still need to evaluate internal and external candidates for the position before a final decision is made.
In addition, Mullenweg said in the post that a candidate to become the company's chief legal officer had also just verbally accepted the position, replacing Chief Legal Officer Andy Missan, who has also since left the company alongside Davies. TechCrunch recently reported that Davies and Missan had signed reciprocal severance deals during Mullenweg's 33-hour leave of absence before he returned as CEO.
"I have 100% confidence in our cash and financial position," Mullenweg's post concluded, adding "There is still work to do, but everything is within our control and depends only on Automattic's ability to execute."

The 84-year-old senator eventually disclosed a month later that he had been "briefly unconscious" due to the fall and had also been treated for mild pneumonia in the hospital.

Shortly after, Chingy reportedly commented on his strained relationship with Bailey and claimed that his mother manipulated the young actor into disliking him. Bailey clapped back after a few days with a post that has since gone viral.
"I've stayed quiet about my relationship with my father because I've never felt the need to share that aspect of my life publicly," he wrote. "But after seeing his comments, I feel compelled to speak for myself."
Bailey added that Chingy's statements about their relationship aren't an "accurate representation." He continued, "Saying something publicly doesn't make it true. You cannot rewrite years of absence, neglect, or lack of involvement with a few paragraphs about love, support, and being there for your child."
Bailey didn't stop there. He said he clearly understood what his relationship with his father looked like growing up. "I know who was present and who wasn't," he wrote. "I know who supported me and who didn't."
Before his post, Bailey, known for his roles in Netflix's "Family Reunion" and Disney's "Raven's Home," praised his mother, Brittany Perry-Russell, an actor and choreographer, for always supporting him.

MADISON – Already in Week 2, the Wisconsin football team has been anything but immune to injuries at some key positions.
Wide receiver Malachi Coleman and linebacker Mason Posa both exited the Badgers' 36-9 win over Western Illinois with injuries. Posa could have returned if necessary, coach Luke Fickell said afterward, but Coleman could not.
Quarterback Colton Joseph, meanwhile, was "a little dinged up from last weekend," Fickell said in his postgame press conference. Fickell similarly said that running back Abu Sama III may have gotten "a little bit of a ding on the shoulder."
Those are in addition to first-team offensive lineman Emerson Mandell's continued absence as he recovers from an injury that he suffered in fall camp.
Fickell said that Joseph – the Old Dominion transfer who has been UW's presumed starter since January – was not ready to go in Tuesday's practice. (He took a significant hit in the Badgers' 41-13 loss to then-No. 5 Notre Dame.)
