Reading Women fought back from 3-1 down at half-time to claim a thrilling 5-3 victory over Chesham United at The Meadow on Sunday.
Chesham made a flying start, with Holly Fitzgerald and Ruby Slade scoring within two minutes of each other to put the hosts 2-0 ahead. Alice Curr pulled one back for the Royals, but United restored their two-goal advantage before the break when Henrietta Cunnison headed home from a corner to make it 3-1 at the break.
The first half was made even worse after an injury to Leah Why, last weekend's hat-trick hero, who hobbled off with ****** istance from two members of the Reading coaching team before being taken to hospital for further tests.
Reading bounced back with a determined second half, however. Casual dining restaurants have to walk a tightrope when it comes to offering strong value and a good customer experience. Chili's has succeeded in finding the right mix of price, value, and experience that keeps the chain affordable while differentiating it from fast-food and fast-casual chains.
"Chili's was the unquestionable same-store sales champ in 2025, though this has set the brand up for some difficult comps periods," Restaurant Dive reported. "…In its most recent quarter, that success was driven primarily by traffic growth, a remarkable feat at a time when many brands faced stagnant or reversing traffic."
Other chains, including Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesday, and Applebee's, have shrunk. On The Border filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and only a handful of franchised locations remain, while Bahama Breeze was shut down by Darden, its parent company.

The 33-year-old content creator traveled from Byron Bay, Australia, to Seoul, South Korea, for an endoscopic lift, a minimally invasive facelift technique that uses small incisions to lift sagging eyebrows and smooth forehead wrinkles.
Matthews said she initially thought she might also need to undergo a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), but her surgeon decided the lift alone could achieve the look she wanted.
"The goal was never to change the way I look," she wrote in a post on Instagram stories. "I wanted to keep my face and my features—just look a little more refreshed and awake, while addressing some of the volume loss through my face."

Leeds Rhinos followed Wigan Warriors to landing a first blow in the Super Four stage against York Valkyrie, winning 38-16 at AMT Headingley Stadium.

Former Lady Vols basketball player Zee Spearman was arrested for a DUI in Lawrenceville, Georgia, during the summer before her senior season, according to a police report obtained by USA TODAY Sports.
The 6-foot-4 forward played in all 30 of Tennessee's games last season and was not publicly suspended after the incident. Tennessee did not immediately respond to a request for comment. If she was disciplined by Lady Vols head coach Kim Caldwell, it was not made public. According to USA TODAY Sports, Caldwell was aware of Spearman’s arrest when it occurred.
Unlike Spearman, a pair of two arrests in less than three months before the of start of the season, led to the dismissal of Lady Vols guard Ruby Whitehorn was acknowledged by UT.

Glasgow City have announced the signing of Ruby Seaby, who has signed a three-year deal with the club.
The 19-year-old winger arrives in Glasgow after a spell with Ipswich Town, where she also gained experience during a loan stint at Lewes for part of the 2025/26 season.
Seaby has represented England at youth level, earning caps from Under-14 through to Under-17.
Seaby came through **** nal’s academy, where she recorded nine goals and eight **** ists for the Gunners’ Under-21 team.
Speaking of the next chapter in her career at Glasgow City, Seaby said: “I’m very excited to get started, buzzing to be here. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the league and I think it’s going to push me physically and technically, so I’m excited to test myself.”
