Actor C.W. Morgan has passed away at the age of 72. He was known for playing Billy Loomis' father in Scream and Scream 3. According to medical reports, Morgan died on August 30, 2026, though the reason has not been disclosed.
The confirmation of his death comes from Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records seen by TMZ and Entertainment Weekly. According to the records, Morgan died in a bathroom in Los Angeles. An LAPD spokesperson told TMZ that the death appears to be a result of natural causes.
Morgan was born in Bisbee, Arizona, and began his acting career in entertainment by starring in the 1991 TV series, Midnight Caller. Following that, he appeared in the 1992 TV movie, The Last of His Tribe. Besides the Scream movies, Morgan has also appeared in the film Metro and the TV show Nash Bridges as himself. In addition to his film and television work, he also lent his voice to the 1997 video game, The Last Express.
While his appearances were brief, his character, Hank Loomis, holds great importance to Scream fans. In the original film, it is revealed that Hank had an affair with Sidney Prescott's mother, which eventually led to his son, Billy, becoming Ghostface.
Morgan's daughter, Renata Macfie, paid tribute to the actor on Facebook. "I'm never going to have the right words for this post. Losing you has left the biggest hole in my heart. I will carry on our Mulholland drives and our Starbucks outings. I'm grateful and lucky to have had you as my daddy. My Guck. Rest easy, bubby. Life will never be the same without you and your poorly timed jokes that I inherited from you. Love you endlessly (no more fighting about that anymore, I win)."

Chet Hanks confronted Eric André on the floor of ComplexCon, approaching the comedian in person more than three years after they publicly argued over his appearance on The Eric André Show.
Footage published by TMZ shows Hanks approaching André from behind and placing a hand on his shoulder. André initially turns toward him and extends a hand before the conversation grows tense.
"What are you talking about?" André asks during the exchange. Security steps between the men, and André eventually walks away with the group around him while Hanks remains with the people filming.
Hanks posted the video on Instagram on Oct. 5th, following the convention's Oct. 3rd and 4th run at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Hanks wrote that André initially had "NO MEMORY WHATSOEVER" of criticizing him in the media after their television taping. He also mocked the comedian for attending the event with what Hanks described as four security guards.

Barry Keoghan has built a career by choosing characters that are rarely easy to understand. The Irish actor can appear vulnerable in one film and deeply unsettling in the next, often bringing an unpredictable quality to his performances. His journey into acting was equally unconventional, beginning far from the traditional routes into the entertainment industry. A difficult childhood in Dublin shaped his early years, while an unexpected opportunity introduced him to acting. Since then, Keoghan has developed into an internationally recognized performer with roles spanning independent dramas, major blockbusters and psychological thrillers.
Born in Dublin, Keoghan experienced considerable instability while growing up. His mother struggled with drug addiction and died when he was young, and he and his brother spent several years in foster care before being raised largely by their grandmother and aunt. Despite his later success, Keoghan has spoken warmly about returning home and immediately slipping back into ordinary family life, joking that celebrity status does not excuse him from making his bed or cleaning up after himself.
His entrance into acting came almost by chance. As a teenager, Keoghan noticed a casting advertisement in a local shop window for the Irish crime film Between the Canals. He responded despite having little professional experience and eventually secured a role. Television work followed, including the Irish drama Love/Hate, helping him develop his craft and attract greater attention.
His international profile grew dramatically in 2017. Keoghan appeared in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk as George Mills, a young civilian caught up in the evacuation of Allied soldiers from France. That same year, he delivered a very different performance opposite Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman in Yorgos Lanthimos's The Killing of a Sacred Deer. As the mysterious Martin, Keoghan demonstrated the unnerving screen presence that would become one of his greatest strengths.
Rather than remaining within one genre, he continued moving between dramatically different projects. He entered the Marvel universe as Druig in Eternals, appeared in The Green Knight and gained major acclaim for Martin McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin. His performance as Dominic Kearney earned him a BAFTA and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

Prince Harry has reportedly expressed worry about Prince William's plans for Princess Diana. For context, the Duke of Sussex might make a documentary for his mother's 30th death anniversary. Now, as per a source, William has his own plans to pay tribute to the late royal, which hasn't sat well with Harry.
According to RadarOnline, Prince Harry is not happy about Prince William's plans for Princess Diana's 30th death anniversary. The Prince of Wales is reportedly considering posthumously regaining his mother's HRH style. Diana lost her Her Royal Highness style after her divorce from King Charles in 1996.
Amid this, a royal source stated that the Duke of Sussex "is raging because he feels William potentially has a card available to him that he simply cannot play." They continued, "Harry can make a documentary, give interviews and celebrate Diana's humanitarian legacy, but William is the heir to the throne and has a completely different kind of influence within the monarchy."
The source added, "If William can ultimately help restore something that was taken away from their mother, Harry sees that as an incredibly tangible gesture." The insider further noted, "A television program comes and goes, whereas putting HRH Diana back into the historical record would endure." Thus, the Duke allegedly feels this would make "anything he produces look secondary."
This is what annoys Harry, and he doesn't wish remembering his mother "to become some competition between brothers." However, the Duke "also doesn't want to feel that William has outclassed and outdone him with the one tribute Harry could never deliver himself."

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday evening temporarily allowing the use of red-dyed diesel on public roads and deferring the federal excise tax on that fuel through the end of the year, a move aimed at lowering costs for truckers and farmers facing record-high diesel prices.
Red-dyed diesel is chemically the same product as standard highway diesel, but carries a red dye to mark it as off-road fuel — meaning it is not subject to the 24.4-cent-per-gallon federal excise tax that applies to diesel sold at the pump for road use, such as for tractors and heavy machinery. Using it in highway vehicles has been illegal, carrying penalties for tax evasion, according to CNBC.
According to the White House, the order instructs the Treasury Secretary to hold off on collecting federal excise taxes on highway use of dyed diesel between October 5 and December 31, 2026, and to do so without charging interest or imposing penalties. The Treasury is also directed to direct the Internal Revenue Service not to impose penalties for on-road use of dyed diesel during that period. The order further instructs officials to explore pathways, including legislation, to eliminate the deferred tax obligations entirely.
The White House projected that a trucker who tops off an 18-wheeler's tank with 250 gallons stands to save over $100 on a single fill-up, provided the trucker's state suspends its own diesel tax as well. On top of the federal levy, each state levies its own diesel excise tax, and those state-level taxes average out to 35.5 cents per gallon, according to CNN.
The order also directs the Secretary of Agriculture to coordinate with agricultural cooperatives and rural fuel distributors to ensure adequate dyed diesel distribution in high-demand areas, and the Secretary of Transportation to engage with state governments and industry stakeholders. The White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs was directed to encourage states to adopt corresponding policies.

"The aim of the combined company is to build the next-generation global media and entertainment company powered by creativity and technology."

James Trevena may be playing a romantic leading man for Hallmark, but his real-life love story started long before he put on Sir Griffin de Beauford's armor. His longtime partner is Ivana Baquero, the Spanish actress who played Ofelia in Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth.
The 40-year-old stars opposite Julie Gonzalo in A Knight to Remember, which premiered Oct. 3. His relationship with Baquero has lasted more than a decade, according to TV Insider's Swooon.
Trevena accompanied Baquero to the Oct. 1 Los Angeles screening marking Pan's Labyrinth's 20th anniversary, according to Just Jared.
Baquero was 11 when she played the film's young heroine. In a 2014 interview with the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, she recalled drawing on her own experiences and feelings to understand the character at an age when she had little formal technique to rely on.
A year before their relationship began, Baquero had told the university that she was hesitant about committing to television. A series would require a longer stretch of her time than a film, complicating her other projects and law studies. She had chosen distance learning because acting regularly took her away from home.

LONDON/WASHINGTON, Oct 5 (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump said on Monday that a threat linked to Iran had prompted the removal of American B-1 bombers from a British airbase.
The planes had been stationed at RAF Fairford, the preferred European base for US bombers, and had recently been used in US strikes on Iran. Last week, five British men were arrested near the base — which Iran's Revolutionary Guards previously said was a legitimate target — on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts.
"We had an idea that there might be a threat, and why would I leave them there? It costs very little money to move them," Trump told reporters on Monday. "So we had a threat, and if we're going to be threatened, we just move them, and that sort of alleviates that. And we actually know the people that made the threat."
When asked if they were linked to Iran, Trump responded: "They would be linked to Iran."

For decades, Heidi Klum has been one of the world's most recognizable supermodels, captivating fans with her confidence, charisma and timeless beauty.
From her breakthrough days on the runway to her reign as a television star, producer and entrepreneur, the German-born icon has never been afraid to embrace her glamorous side.
Heidi has a refreshing take on her workouts, being that her go-to is N.E.A.T., which stands for Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis.
The philosophy behind it is incorporating exercise into your everyday routine, such as taking the stairs over the elevator, and doing household chores, instead of committing to a dedicated time in the gym.
She revealed to The Times: "I also run around a lot, having four kids. I don't have an ******* istant, so I don't have people pack for me or carry my things, I do everything myself. I eat right, I never exercise too much or do heavy weights. People can push themselves too hard. I listen to my body."

Prince William has a strong one-word nickname for Prince Harry and Charles Spencer. As per reports, the Prince of Wales was blindsided by the claims and allegations his uncle levied against King Charles and the royal family in his recent Princess Diana memoir. Spencer reportedly insists that he had informed William and Harry at the same time. However, multiple sources have alleged that the future king was furious upon learning the contents of the book.
Prince William is reportedly angry after learning that Prince Harry had prior knowledge of Charles Spencer's book. According to a source attached to Heat World, William has branded Harry and Spencer as "traitors". The source elaborated: "William is seeing this alliance that Harry has formed with their uncle and it's got him incensed and calling both Harry and Earl Spencer traitors."
The source explained that the Duke of Sussex has sided with his uncle amid his ongoing rift with the royal family. However, Harry has not publicly expressed support for Spencer or commented on the memoir. His silence has reportedly fueled William's frustration, according to the source.
The Prince of Wales reportedly suspects Harry had read the book and knew what Spencer planned to reveal. While Charles reportedly wants to move past the issue, William is said to be willing to confront his brother. According to Rob Shuter's report, both King Charles and William were surprised by the memoir's contents. Neither reportedly received an advance copy. However, a source claimed that Harry received a copy weeks before its official release.
William and King Charles reportedly learned about the memoir's more controversial claims as excerpts emerged publicly. Rob Shuter's source alleged that Spencer gave Harry preferential treatment over William. The source said: "Harry had the book weeks ago. Charles Spencer wanted Harry to understand exactly what he was going to say about Diana before the world read it. Harry was brought inside the circle. William was kept outside it."

Sarah Ferguson reportedly wants King Charles and senior royals to "throw her a bone" before she considers other options. The former **** ss of York was said to be delaying a tell-all while hoping for renewed royal acceptance.
A source claimed she still believed there was "a place for her within the royal family." However, the insider warned that continued exclusion could change her position. Her reported strategy mixed loyalty, leverage, and hopes for a royal comeback.
As per a Closer Online report, Sarah reportedly reconsidered her options. The source said Earl Spencer's memoir offered "a good reminder" of the disruption a royal tell-all could create. Moreover, the insider claimed Sarah's long history with the royals gave her considerable material. They said she could potentially do "a lot more damage to the King's legacy" than Spencer. Still, a spokesperson firmly denied a current memoir project. The representative said, "She is not writing a personal memoir."
However, the insider claimed Sarah Ferguson was keeping that possibility available while hoping for another route. The source said she was "holding off on a book deal for now." According to them, Sarah remained convinced "there's still a place for her within the royal family." She reportedly hoped loyalty would persuade King Charles and others to "cut her a break." That could mean "a path back towards respectability" or "at the very least a place to live." Meanwhile, the source said she still had "the tell-all up her sleeve" if that effort failed.
Additionally, the insider claimed Sarah was sending messages toward both Charles and Prince William. She was reportedly "imploring William and Charles to throw her a bone." The source added that she did not want to "go against the family if she can help it." Still, the report said Sarah could pursue other money-making opportunities if reconciliation failed. Those possibilities reportedly included reality television and rebuilding her social media profile. For now, Buckingham Palace had made no direct statement about Sarah. Meanwhile, senior royals had reportedly continued distancing themselves from the former York household.

Jim Bakker, who along with his first wife Tammy Faye built an evangelical empire around the hugely successful "The PTL Club" TV show, only to lose it all over a ****** scandal and financial crimes, has died. He was 86.
Bakker died Monday, his second wife, Lori Bakker, said in a statement. His cause of death was not immediately clear.
"He was a pioneer of Christian television, but to me, he was my husband, my best friend, and the man I was honored to walk beside through so many seasons of life and ministry," she said.
The pair lived near the Missouri entertainment town of Branson and filmed their TV show "The Jim Bakker Show" there since it launched in 2003. Bakker suffered a stroke in 2020.
But it was another evangelical program that made Jim and his first wife Tammy Faye Bakker cultural icons — so much so that they were often skewered in the 1980s and 1990s by late-night comedians and parodied on "Saturday Night Live." A theatrical movie on their lives, "The Eyes of Tammy Faye," was released in September 2021.

Megyn Kelly is calling out what she sees as a lack of due process when it comes to Cornell's Chi Phi fraternity brothers amid their Jane Doe gang rape investigation.
On Monday's episode of "The Megyn Kelly Show," the host suggested the public has already made up its mind regarding the seven men named after a former student filed a civil suit claiming she was drugged, ******* aulted and gang-raped by them in 2024.
"These young men have had their names plastered all over every major newscast in America for a week now," Kelly said. "The mob has decided they're guilty and ought to be put to death, which is literally what we are hearing in several circles online without a trial, without a due process chance to defend themselves. Not in a kangaroo court on a college campus, which is a joke, but in an actual court, either civil or now it's looking more and more likely criminal."
She added: "This is deeply immoral. There are two sides to every story. You don't know, and I don't know what happened inside of Cornell that night. We know that there's been a story told by Jane Doe. We know that from her own story, the DA – a Democrat – said there's no case here… And we know it took her two years to file a civil suit… Now her lawyers are all over the television, ripping on the DA."
Kelly is not the only news personality to question the due process of the case. "The View" co-host Sunny Hostin also spoke out wondering if the men's names should not be going up across a number of news networks.

Black Americans have heard it all before. We've been called "lazy," "not as qualified," "uneducated," "uncultured," and all manner of other reasons the world can come up with for why our disenfranchisement is somehow of our own design and perpetuation. But there's a long history behind why.
During an appearance on Cam Newton's "Funky Friday" podcast, actor Da'Vinchi certainly kept it funky when he revealed why, from his experience, non-American actors are offered American parts and kicked off a diaspora war in the process.
Roughly 11 minutes into the conversation, Newton star asks the 30-year-old "All-American" star what he thinks about non-American actors getting American parts in television and film. The actor says there is a perception that Americans are lazy, later lumping Black Americans into the conversation when discussing why non-American Black actors may be cast in Black American roles.
"What I had to learn early is that this is the entertainment business, not the entertainment arts," the "Why Did I Get Married Again?" actor said. "When there's a business, there's certain things involved."

Donna Air's temporary move to Los Angeles has brought an unexpected companion into the picture: Paul "PK" Kemsley.
The British actress and television personality, 47, was photographed leaving Chateau Marmont with Kemsley, 59, after the two reportedly dined together at the West Hollywood hotel. The Sun published Backgrid photographs showing them walking outside together before getting into the same car.
An onlooker told the outlet that Air and Kemsley appeared "really cosy" as they laughed and talked during the evening. Kemsley supplied the clearest description of the outing himself when a fan reportedly approached him and he responded, "I'm on a f***ing date, stop interrupting."
The sighting comes only weeks after TMZ filmed Kemsley vacationing in Greece with Tatiana Kharchylava, whom the outlet described at the time as his girlfriend.
The Sun's photographs show Air and Kemsley emerging from Chateau Marmont side by side after spending time together inside. They were later photographed entering the same waiting vehicle.

Jordyn Woods has spent much of her life in the spotlight, first as Kylie Jenner's longtime best friend and later as a model, entrepreneur and celebrity in her own right. From her Hollywood connections and family background to her relationship with NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns, Woods has built a life that extends far beyond her former ties to the Kardashian-Jenner family.
But how much do we really know about the life Woods has created for herself? From whether she grew up wealthy and where she lives today to the eye-catching engagement ring she received from Towns and her estimated net worth, here's everything to know about Jordyn Woods' life, career and finances.
Despite her close ties to the Kardashian-Jenner and Smith families, Jordyn Woods did not grow up in a wealthy celebrity household. Her father, John Woods, was a television sound engineer who worked on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", while her mother, Elizabeth Woods, worked as a talent and brand manager. Her parents' careers gave Jordyn an early connection to Hollywood, and her family became particularly close with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith through her father's work, according to People.
Jordyn has acknowledged that she had certain privileges growing up in California and being surrounded by successful people, but she has also pushed back against the idea that her family was wealthy. In a 2025 interview with Crystal Renee Hayslett, she explained that her father worked extremely hard to provide for their family and said that they "definitely struggled," emphasizing that being around wealthy people did not mean her family had the same financial resources.
Jordyn Woods currently lives in Los Angeles, California, with her husband, NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns. TMZ reports the couple purchased a $14 million home in the Los Angeles area, putting them among the city's many celebrity homeowners. Their move into the luxury property came as Woods continued to expand her career beyond social media, while Towns built his fortune through his NBA career.

Meghan Markle is reportedly planning to do another round of an explosive tell-all interview with the support of her husband, Prince Harry. For those unversed, Harry and Markle stepped down as working royals and relocated to the U.S. in 2020. The couple participated in various interviews, sharing their honest, critical thoughts on the royal family, including the Oprah Winfrey show and their self-titled documentary. This move comes after the massive uproar reportedly caused by Princess Diana's brother's memoir.
Sources close to Closer revealed that Meghan Markle wants to give a big interview, mirroring Princess Diana's 1995 Panorama interview. According to sources, the Suits star is aware that it might cause a backlash, as her Oprah interview did a couple of years ago. However, she is keen on setting the record straight, in her own words.
The source said, "Now, she thinks it's time for her to speak out again. She wants a Diana moment – in the same way that she shocked everyone with her Panorama interview." The insider explained that the Sussexes' PR team is worried that it may generate major controversy. However, Prince Harry is on board with this, as he remembers how the royal family seemingly mistreated his wife. He does not want the same for Markle and is encouraging her to speak her truth.
"He doesn't want her to feel silenced – he wants her to speak out," the source added. If Markle does go ahead with the tell-all interview, it would be another blow to the royal family's reputation after Charles Spencer's book.
For those unversed, Spencer has levied some controversial allegations against the royal family, particularly her former brother-in-law, King Charles. The Daily Mail published an excerpt detailing an explosive phone call between the king and Spencer.

Elizabeth Debicki has built a career around following unexpected possibilities. Born in Paris and raised in Australia, the actress grew up surrounded by performance but did not always imagine herself becoming a screen star. Archaeology, history and even law once competed for her attention before acting ultimately became her chosen path. That curiosity has remained visible in a career spanning stylish spy movies, ambitious science fiction and acclaimed television drama. Rather than following a predictable route, Debicki has repeatedly embraced roles that challenge what audiences expect from her.
Debicki was born to professional dancers, a Polish father and an Australian mother of Irish heritage. After the family moved to Melbourne when she was young, dance became an important part of her childhood. She trained in ballet before eventually deciding that acting offered the creative direction she wanted to pursue. Growing up as the eldest of three children also gave her a reputation within the family for being confident and ****** ertive, even though she has described her younger self as more awkward and bookish.
Before settling on drama, Debicki was fascinated by archaeology and the stories hidden within history. She also considered studying law and performed strongly academically. Acting ultimately won, and she studied drama at the Victorian College of the Arts at the University of Melbourne. Soon after graduating, she began attracting professional opportunities that quickly moved her career forward.
One of her important early breakthroughs came when Baz Luhrmann cast her as Jordan Baker in The Great Gatsby. The 2013 film placed Debicki alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire, introducing her to a large international audience. She followed it with Guy Ritchie's The Man from U.N.C.L.E. in 2015, playing the sophisticated villain Victoria Vinciguerra. The role pushed her into the stylish world of action cinema, despite Debicki not being a driver herself at the time.
Her versatility became increasingly apparent through projects including The Night Manager, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Widows. In 2020, she joined Christopher Nolan's Tenet as Kat, bringing emotional vulnerability to a complicated science fiction thriller filled with elaborate action sequences and unusual ideas about time.

Umberto Pizzi, who has died aged 88, was a paparazzo who documented Italy's Dolce Vita era, specialising in candid shots of the actors, television personalities, politicians and ***** orted hangers-on who made up the emerging class of nouveau riche.
Pizzi himself spurned the term "paparazzi", which he thought conveyed an attitude of hostility towards photojournalists. He preferred to think of his role as a kind of modern-day Petronius, documenting the spectacles and excesses of the era through its best-known personalities. He photographed stars of Italian cinema such as Marcello Mastroianni and Vittorio Gassman, as well as Hollywood golden couple Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.
In the 1970s and 1980s he ventured into the realms of Italian culture, politics and the global aristocracy. He photographed John Paul Getty III during his time in Rome and trod on bullets on his way to the scene where the former prime minister Aldo Moro was kidnapped in 1978. His archive, comprising around two million images, spanned two republics and more than 60 years of history, from economic boom to the season of protest, through to the modern era of mass communication.
The film-maker Tinto Brass pictured by Pizzi with the actress Sandra Milo, 1987 - UMBERTO PIZZI DA/Fotogramma
From the early 2000s he worked for the web publication Dagospia, which became notorious for its section headed "Cafonal": roughly, the uncouth, ostentatious rich. One Pizzi image that encapsulated the new era showed a table of important people stuffing themselves with food. Another was of Northern League and Forza Italia members dousing a reclining woman with champagne during a birthday party.

As a long-time host of "The View," Joy Behar is known for her outspokenness, which sometimes causes scandals, such as dragging Melania Trump when insulting Donald Trump. Other than her political views and wild on-show feuds, Behar is recognized for her polished looks behind the desk. The TV personality has been vocal about her signature, face-framing blowout and the fact that she's not a natural redhead. While Behar isn't hesitant to discuss any cosmetic changes, she's also not afraid to wear a makeup look that's more minimal than her usual television glam.

In August 2026, Behar went to ****** town Kitchen in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The TV host, wearing an all-black outfit, posed with ****** town Kitchen's owner Willy Garcia for the restaurant's Instagram post. Behar kept her makeup simple by wearing gray eyeshadow and a red lip. Overall, Behar's skin looks amazing in her 80s. Her forehead, chin, and cheeks seem smooth. Her cheeks also look plump for someone in their twilight years, which could be a result of having good skin and investing in nonsurgical skin treatments. She also wore her hair down without the volume that fans of "The View" are used to seeing on screen.

The Trump administration is airing campaign-style television ads using money Congress approved for border security upgrades, efforts to combat drug trafficking and memorials for officers killed in the line of duty, according to federal spending records.
Democrats say the ads break multiple federal laws by using taxpayer money for political purposes that Congress never authorized. The White House defends the ads as public service announcements.
One of the spots closely resembles a 30-second video produced by the Trump campaign in 2024. The latest ad features President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth advocating for the Iran war. They feature disclosures saying they are “Paid for by the U.S. Government.”
On Sept. 19, a few days before the ads began airing, the White House Office of Management and Budget added $20 million to a Department of Homeland Security budget line designated for “commemorative events,” according to publicly disclosed OMB data. Congress approved the spending for those events in Trump’s 2025 domestic spending package, known as the One Big Beautiful Bill, and intended it for “Line-of-Duty death memorials, Department or agency anniversaries, and commendation ceremonies,” according to a House budget committee report.
The next day, Sept. 20, DHS awarded a $20 million contract for a “national media campaign” to the LMD Agency, a Maryland-based public relations and media firm that had previously worked for the department. The company did not respond to requests for comment.
