Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's plans for a more private Ohio retreat have run into some very public objections. Neighbors of the $5.35 million Lake Erie estate are challenging proposed landscaping and fencing, raising concerns about a shared sewer line, wildlife, and how the changes could affect their longtime homes.
A six-foot fence has already received approval, but parts of the landscaping remain unresolved. The property's representatives, meanwhile, say they have adjusted the plans, paid for sewer repairs and added gates to accommodate residents.
ZUMAPRESS.com / MEGA
According to the Daily Mail, the dispute centers on an estate in Bratenahl, a village outside Cleveland. Property records cited by the outlet show that an LLC linked to Kelce purchased the mansion in March. The 21,000-square-foot property features eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and a two-bedroom guest cottage. Built in 1895, it also has a former ballroom converted into a game room and home theater.
But proposed changes to the grounds have become a sticking point with nearby residents. Katherine Bolton, who has lived next door for 35 years, described news of the new owners as a "tremendous blow" to "the peace and quiet in Bratenahl."

Mike Tindall takes a surprisingly formal approach when addressing his mother-in-law, Princess Anne. The former professional rugby player is married to the royal's daughter, Zara Tindall, and while most husbands refer to their mothers-in-law by their first name, he opts for a more traditional greeting.
When the 47-year-old appeared on ITV's Good Morning Britain in 2024 with fellow former rugby pro James Haskell to chat about their podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, he explained about previously featured Princess Anne and the Prince and Princess of Wales as guests.

"They were amazing," Mike said of his in-laws before explaining why he wanted to bring them onto the podcast. "Rugby has been going through a tough time and we wanted to showcase why it brings people together from all backgrounds, it's such an inclusive sport, but it also creates great human beings," he said. "It was more important to showcase why they like sport, why Princess Anne has been a patron of [the Scottish Rugby Union] for 37 years and why she loves the characters in the game.

An expert believes Meghan Markle and Prince Harry should fund their own everyday security in the UK. According to a royal expert, British taxpayers should not cover the Sussexes' day-to-day protection. Her comments followed a security scare at their children's school.
A royal expert explains how the school scare affects Prince Harry's security argument. The Duke and **** ss of Sussex spoke out after photographers were seen looking into the grounds of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet's school.
A spokesperson for the couple called the photographers "extraordinarily reckless." They also described the incident as an unacceptable intrusion into children's privacy.
Reports claim that two paparazzi were at the scene and appeared to work together. Lynn Carratt told The Express US that the incident strengthens Harry's case that his family faces genuine security and privacy concerns. She said photographers allegedly walking around the school perimeter and monitoring children makes the couple's need for proper security obvious.
However, Carratt does not believe that automatically means British taxpayers should fund the couple's day-to-day protection. She noted Harry and Meghan chose to step back as working royals and later chose to return to live in the UK.

Just weeks after a former Cornell University student known anonymously as Jane Doe filed a lawsuit against the university and seven former fraternity members, the student community rallied together to call for administrative change.
On Oct. 5, Cornell University's campus appeared as it does on any other fall day — a cold wind, sunny sky, orange and yellow leaves drifting to the ground and students roaming the grounds heading to their next class. By 4:30 p.m., the energy shifted.
A group gathered — students, faculty, Ithaca residents and concerned people from across the state — and steadily grew at the heart of the Ivy League campus. They came to demand accountability, to call for the resignations of Cornell University administrators and to deliver a message that could be heard for miles.
Justice for Jane Doe.
In the fall of 2024, a 20-year-old woman arrived at the front door of Cornell fraternity Chi Phi in Ithaca, New York. Nearly two years later, the night of Oct. 19, 2024, is at the center of a controversy including a civil lawsuit, a reopened criminal investigation and calls for accountability on Cornell's campus.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's children reportedly use different names at school. According to a report, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are known as George Wales, Charlotte Wales, and Louis Wales among their school friends. The surname reflects their parents' ****** les as the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are known as 'Wales' at school, per report. According to ****** o!, Charlotte and Louis are in Year 7 and Year 4 at Lambrook Prep School in Berkshire. The school is reportedly close to the family's Windsor home, Forest Lodge. It seems that the royal siblings likely prefer to keep their school life low-key.
It was said that the surname is a nod to the Prince and Princess of Wales, the ****** les William and Kate received after Queen Elizabeth II's death in September 2022. Before that, when they were the Duke and ****** ss of Cambridge, their children reportedly used Cambridge at their previous schools. This seemingly followed what William and Prince Harry did, as the brothers used their father's former ****** le, Wales, when they were at school.
Meanwhile, George has seemingly started a new chapter at Eton. William and Kate reportedly accompanied him on his first day. The young Prince moved into one of the 25 boarding houses on the grounds.
Moreover, members of the royal family often don't use a surname. They are simply known by their ****** le, name, and His or Her Royal Highness. The royal family's website states that George V declared in 1917 that male-line descendants of Queen Victoria "shall bear the name of Windsor." The family reportedly continued to use it after Queen Elizabeth II's accession in 1952.

Dakota Johnson was a sight to behold in a Yana Matkivski set as she posed for promo ahead of her "Saturday Night Live" hosting debut. Recently, the actress stepped out in New York City, embodying minimalist glamour as always. Photos and videos of her from the promo shoot have already made the rounds online.
For the outing, Dakota Johnson turned heads in a stunning Yana Matkivski two-piece set. The sage-green satin top featured a structured, high-neck bodice designed with sharp cap sleeves that tapered cleanly into a fitted torso. The fabric converged at the hip into a cropped hem, framing the waistband of the matching skirt beneath it.
Furthermore, the Helen Mini Skirt revealed an exceptionally short hem that sat high on her thighs. Extending from the waistband, the satin fabric skimmed smoothly down her hips, falling softly over her legs as she walked.
The skirt also featured a fitted, straight-cut silhouette with no added volume or pleating. It hugged her hips before ending in a clean, minimalist line above the knee. The pairing blended structured tailoring with soft, fluid satin.
Johnson paired the set with serious sparkle, opting for Marlo Laz's Natasha Diamond Bracelet, a two-tone piece lined with round diamonds, priced at $26,000. On her finger, she added Jessica McCormack's 0.90ct Diamond Golden Snake Ring, valued at $33,500. Meanwhile, her beauty styling leaned into minimalist glamour to complement the muted tones of the set.

Anne Hathaway tried to organize a red carpet photo session and ended up with a viral moment she wishes she could take back. The actress apologized after footage of her directing photographers at the "Verity" premiere made the rounds online. By the following night, she was covering her eyes as Jimmy Fallon replayed the clip. Hathaway said she had been trying to help her co-stars and the photographers get through a crowded photo call but immediately realized how the moment might look.
Eric Kowalsky / MEGA
During Wednesday's appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", Hathaway addressed the footage from the previous evening's New York premiere. The actress described the video as "horrifying" and "the stuff of nightmares." Hathaway also admitted she knew Fallon would bring it up during their interview.
The clip showed her standing between "Verity" co-stars Dakota Johnson and Ismaël Cruz Córdova, explaining how they would work their way through the cameras. "We are going to start from the left and then we can make our way that way," she told the photographers.
Hathaway then pointed and counted to 10 as the group posed. Johnson added her own deadline to the proceedings. "And then I'm gonna leave."

On September 14, during the episode of Mad Money, Jim Cramer said CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) is emerging as a beneficiary of growing concerns over the cybersecurity risks created by artificial intelligence, as he said:
Over the weekend, the co-founder and CEO of Anthropic published an essay where he pushed for a slowdown among the frontier AI labs in order to handle newfound security concerns. In response to that, the cybersecurity cohort just went crazy because there are the companies that can prevent AI agents from randomly hacking into networks all over the world, and it's the cybersecurity companies. Take CrowdStrike, which shot up nearly 14% today, leading the S&P 500, something I feel great about, of course, because we own it big for the Charitable Trust. These guys have been adamant that AI represented a great opportunity for their business, and now Wall Street's finally gotten the memo.
CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.'s (NASDAQ:CRWD) second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue increased 26% year over year to $1.47 billion, while ending annual recurring revenue rose 25% to $5.84 billion. Net new ARR reached a record $332.8 million, and free cash flow was $377.4 million. The company also raised its full-year fiscal 2027 net new ARR growth outlook to 34% at the midpoint, up 630 basis points. CEO George Kurtz said the company believes securing AI is its "largest market opportunity in our history."
Kurtz said on September 14 that AI-driven threats are already operating at machine speed, describing the emerging threat as autonomous campaigns rather than individual hackers. He identified endpoints, cloud workloads and SaaS as key battlegrounds and said "enforcement at machine speed" is needed to stop AI agents in motion. CrowdStrike has responded by expanding into AI-agent, model and infrastructure protection, including Continuous Identity for AI Agents and Falcon AI Detection and Response.
CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.'s (NASDAQ:CRWD) valuation leaves little room for a meaningful slowdown in growth. Yahoo Finance currently shows a forward P/E of approximately 188.7 times and a price-to-sales ratio of roughly 44.6 times. Those multiples leave little room for a material slowdown in ARR growth, weaker adoption of newer products, or greater competitive pressure. The company also remains much less profitable on a GAAP basis than its adjusted results suggest. The company reported a $33.2 million GAAP operating loss in the latest quarter against $371.6 million of non-GAAP operating income, while stock-based compensation and related employer payroll taxes totaled $399 million.

Use of Medicaid, food stamps, tuition ******* istance and free school lunch programs, among other government ******* istance, could all be grounds for denying a green-card application.

The policy from President Donald Trump's administration, which took effect Friday, marks a dramatic change to a long-standing federal policy consistent with the president's efforts to restrict legal immigration pathways.
The rule could reduce federal and state payments by $13 billion a year, by persuading some 950,000 people to disenroll from or avoid federal safety net programs, according to estimates from the Department of Homeland Security. The agency said that the rule aligns with Congress's intent that noncitizens "in the United States be self-sufficient and not dependent on taxpayer-funded government benefits."

Democrats' wary optimism about the midterms gave way to growing confidence this week.
The party has seen strong post-Labor Day polls in key battlegrounds - and even in traditionally red areas. Recent escalations in the war in Iran, including an attack on a major pipeline in Saudi Arabia, mean the rising gas prices bedeviling Republicans will not be going down anytime soon. Republicans have not been able to bring prices under control more generally. And President Donald Trump's unpopularity is at near-record levels.

Considering all this, Democrats now think conditions are right for the party to retake control of the House and possibly the Senate later this year.
"If the election were held today, we would win the majority," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (New York) said in an interview with The Washington Post.

GENEVA (AP) — Human rights experts commissioned by the U.N.'s top human rights body say they have found "reasonable grounds" to believe the United States committed war crimes in two strikes in Iran, including on a school in the southern city of Minab.
The international fact-finding mission on Iran says the findings center on a pair of airstrikes that killed at least 178 civilians, including women and children.
At the start of the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran in February, at least one U.S. missile hit the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, according to an ****** ociated Press investigation. There has been no final accounting of what happened. Iranian state media have said 168 people were killed in the strike, most of them children.
"Following the United States and Israeli attacks on 28 February, the mission found reasonable grounds to believe the United States committed the war crime of launching indiscriminate attacks resulting in the loss of life or injury to civilians or damage to civilian objects," the fact-finding team said in a statement.
The Trump administration has yet to directly accept the blame or release findings of a Pentagon investigation into the school bombing.

Two races into NASCAR's new Chase, the championship standings are already showing how quickly things can change.
Kyle Larson left Darlington 49 points behind Denny Hamlin. One win at Gateway later, he sits second, just nine points back.
Ryan Blaney experienced the opposite. He entered Gateway 16 points behind Hamlin before a brake failure ended his race in 35th. Now he trails by 33.
Next comes Bristol Motor Speedway, and there is no reset waiting on the other side.
Under NASCAR's previous playoff format, drivers raced through elimination rounds with points resets along the way. The 2026 Chase is different. After the initial reseeding, all 10 races count toward the same championship total.

ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan "The General" Haggerty had a ringside view of his brother Freddie Haggerty's toughest ****** ignment yet, and he could not have been happier with how it played out.
The younger Haggerty overcame Rungruanglek TN Muaythai via unanimous decision in their strawweight Muay Thai battle at The Inner Circle 30 in Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium this past Friday, September 11.
Freddie dropped Rungruanglek twice across the opening two rounds, first with a counter left hook off the ropes, then with a follow-up left hook to the temple off an exit from the clinch.
Rungruanglek tried to weather the storm with digging elbows and working Freddie's legs, but the 21-year-old Englishman stayed composed on the back foot, picking the Thai knockout artist apart with sharp counters until the final bell.
The unanimous decision snapped Rungruanglek's five-fight winning streak and pushed Freddie's record to 25-5 overall, marking his second straight victory of 2026 on the subscriber-exclusive Asia primetime card.

Josh Hokit wasted no time making his case for UFC gold after Tom Aspinall vacated the heavyweight ******* le Monday.
Aspinall relinquished his championship after suffering yet another setback in his ongoing recovery from the eye injuries he sustained against Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 last October. The move clears the way for the UFC heavyweight division to resume it's usual activity; Gane defeated Alex Pereira at UFC Freedom 250 in June to claim an interim ******* le, and will likely be formally upgraded to undisputed heavyweight champion in short order.
And Hokit wants the first crack.
"The fans deserve Me vs Gane. I'll give Ciryl what he has coming. If Alex can win 1 fight in my weight class, I'll give it to him too, early '27. I'll be the most active champ in the company."
Pereira has continued to campaign for an immediate rematch with Gane in the months since UFC Freedom 250, accusing the Frenchmen of using illegal strikes to the back of the head to defeat him in their battle on the White House's South Lawn. Hokit, though, has repeatedly dismissed the former two-division UFC champion, arguing that Pereira should have to earn his way back after being stopped by Gane in less than two rounds.

Kodak Black is seen trying to quickly finish up a meal before being turned over to authorities in footage making the rounds on social media this week, though it's worth pointing out that the footage itself does not depict a recent incident.
Instead, the body camera footage in question, which has been widely shared in recent days, stems from May 14 of this year. Annoyingly, much of the posts zeroing in on the food-focused moment from the Pompano Beach, Florida-set video have been shared without context, which may have led some to falsely believe that the Kodak The Blessing artist had been arrested in recent days. This is not true.
Posts have also circulated positing that Kodak "made" officials wait for him to finish his meal "before they arrested him," which is also misleading.

India is all set to take on Afghanistan in the opening T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, September 13.
Shreyas Iyer's side looking to build momentum after a mixed white-ball summer that included series defeats in Ireland and England.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan will be hoping to avenge defeat in the one-off Test at Mullanpur earlier this year. Ibrahim Zadran's side has the perfectly volatile combination of a spin-heavy bowling attack and a batting lineup that's still trying to figure out their place.
With Jasprit **** rah and Washington Sundar also cleared just this week, India will be keen to prepare mentally for the upcoming Asian Games and New Zealand. The venue will also play a big part in the match.
Arun Jaitley Stadium has hosted only a handful of T20Is despite its status as one of India's most-used grounds across formats, and their most recent appearance produced one of the highest totals ever recorded there when India piled up 209 against Namibia in February 2026.

Ryan Garcia left no doubt. After a heated build-up between two of boxing's biggest names, the reigning WBC welterweight champion delivered a devastating performance Saturday night inside of Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena, needing less than two rounds to dispatch Conor Benn and successfully defend his belt in a statement performance.
After controlling the opening round, Garcia ended matters in spectacular fashion early in the second, uncorking a massive right hand that sent Benn crumbling to the canvas. Benn managed to beat the 10-count, but Garcia immediately swarmed his wounded prey and unloaded against the ropes until the referee mercifully stepped in to stop the bout.
Afterward, Garcia (26-2, 21 KOs) called for WBA welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez to join him in the ring, teasing the possiblitiy of a massive unification clash next. Benn (25-2, 14 KOs), meanwhile, suffered the first stoppage loss of his pro career.
Unsurprisingly, as is often the case with anything Garcia does, Saturday's result instantly set the boxing world ablaze, prompting a flood of fellow fighters to gush over Garcia's spectacular performance on social media — and eliciting a healthy amount of revelry from Benn's critics. Chief among those critics was Chris Eubank Jr., who couldn't help but chime in with a roast of his longtime rival following their two-fight series in 2025.

VICTORIA, British Columbia (AP) — Kyle Cottam set a PGA Tour Americas record Saturday when he holed out from 108 yards for eagle on the 16th hole on his way to a 12-under 58 in the Digital Commerce Group Open.

Cottam had six birdies in a seven-hole stretch for a 29 on the front nine, and he played the final four holes in 4 under with the eagle on the 16th He got up-and-down for par from just off the green on the 18th hole.
"I was absolutely surprised," Cottam said. "Obviously, you don't wake up in the morning and think you're going to shoot 58."

In the before-the-bell undercard action supporting the Garcia vs. Benn fight card, Alexis Rocha and Vlad Panin led the way with solid victories.
Abel Gonzalez, and Sean Garcia also scored wins.
Fights took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in the traditional Mexican Independence Day card.
It was a disservice to boxing fans and the fighters to schedule the contest between former world champion Jose Ramirez of Avenal, California (29-4, 18 KOs) and top-ten-ranked contender Alexis Rocha of Santa Ana (27-2-1, 16 KOs) so early. The Golden Boy welterweight contest seems to have been buried by ongoing friction between promoters.
This aside, Ramirez and Rocha delivered solid action for ten rounds, with Rocha prevailing by a wide unanimous decision. Scores were 98-91, 98-91, and 97-92.

Tommy McMillen doesn't always make it look pretty but he sure knows how to put on a show as he won a back-and-forth war against Marwan Rahiki at Noche UFC on Saturday.
The featherweights battled it out over three rounds with Rahiki nearly scoring a finish in the second round and then McMillen storming back to win the third round and the fight. It was a wild affair but when the final horn sounded, McMillen had done enough for the victory with the judges scoring the fight 29-28, 29-28 and 29-27 in his favor.
"Let's go Arizona!" McMillen shouted to his home audience. "He had a pretty good second round, busted me up a little bit but I knew I could out dog him.
"Tomorrow morning, I'm going hopt on a [plane] to Vegas and I'll be there on Dec. 12 waiting on my next victim and my next $100K bonus."
An early takedown opened the fight for McMillen but Rahiki was quick to break free and get back to the feet. The featherweights were just standing and banging with both landing some solid strikes along the way. A late pair of right hands from McMillen definitely caught Rahiki off guard as they continued blasting away at each other.

A week after Nick Saban and Pat McAfee practically did an infomercial for the Protect College Sports Act during College GameDay, one of the bill's co-sponsors, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), was given the chance to make a full-throated defense of the bill and why it needed to be passed by the Senate and House, with Cruz previously saying that if passed, President Donald Trump would sign it into law on a future episode of ESPN's flagship college football show.
Even by the standards of College GameDay, which has been known to put its thumb on the scale when it wanted, this whole affair has been wildly inappropriate. It's one thing for Kirk Herbstreit to chastise football players for opting out of meaningless bowl games; it's another thing for the show to put its full weight behind a Congressional bill without providing ample time to those proponents and opponents, especially when those who oppose the bill do so on the grounds that it will negatively impact the earning ability of the athletes who make the sport work.
However, it helps you understand this all-out blitz when you realize where ESPN's parent company is putting its money.
Joedy McCreary at OpenSecrets recently laid out the fight surrounding the PCSA, spelling out which entities are pushing for it and which are pushing back.
Per McCreary, several major broadcasting and cable companies are putting their money where their mouth is. The National ****** ociation of Broadcasters (NAB) and NCTA – the Internet and Television ****** ociation lobbied for the legislation. Amazon, Paramount Skydance, and Disney (which owns ESPN) listed the college sports measure among the dozens of bills they worked on between April 1 and June 30.

Sophie Cunningham is at the center of new boyfriend rumors, and fans have plenty to say about the WNBA star's reported love life!
Speculation surrounding the Indiana Fever guard's relationship status has been making the rounds online, with social media users weighing in on who could have captured her attention.

According to an account, Cunningham's new man is Frank Adams, the head athletic trainer at Grand Canyon University, who also works with the school's men's basketball program. It is not going well for America's F1 hopeful Herta at all in the FIA Formula 2 (F2) Championship in 2026. Having taken a big step to move away from IndyCar in the hope of securing enough superlicence points to race in Formula 1, potentially with Cadillac, the season hasn't gone his way at all.
Racing for Hitech GP, Herta is 17th with 26 points after 10 rounds, with a best result of fifth. The American is racing at F1's new Madring circuit in Madrid on Spanish GP weekend. He started it well in fourth. He was doing well in qualifying in the Top 10 for the most part.
However, he dropped to 12th in the end after he suffered a crash at Turn 19 to end the session. Following the day's run, just before Restricted Period One kicked in for F2 teams, Hitech GP found a problem with the American's car, which they started to work on.
Since it was a priority, they continued working into Restricted Period One and therefore were in breach of Article 21.6a of the F2 regulations. The technical delegate reported the matter, and the stewards duly penalised him with a pitlane start in Madrid's sprint race on Saturday.
