Call it a contrarian move. It has been a riveting 12 hours or so in the markets as investors slice and dice the midterm election outcomes.
Initially, stocks got hammered as the results trickled in. The thinking was that Democrats are less pro-business than Republicans, and since they will control the House and the Senate, there goes the corporate profit miracle that has driven the markets over the past two years.
But something very interesting has emerged after that initial knee-jerk reaction. Stocks are rallying on Wednesday — big-time!
Here are three reasons I think we're seeing this play out.
First, the midterm election results threaten to significantly disrupt AI data center expansion as voter backlash over soaring utility bills, grid instability, and water usage drive a sharp political pivot toward tighter regulatory oversight. That is being viewed as a positive for hyperscalers such as Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) and Amazon (AMZN) in that they will be forced to pull back on spending, which would boost free cash flow.

There were high expectations for A.J. Brown with the New England Patriots this season. The Philadelphia Eagles traded him back in June for a 2027 fifth-rounder and a 2028 first-rounder. However, the wide receiver's debut in New England has been underwhelming.
So far, Brown has missed four games this season due to an injury. He was activated on Oct. 17 and has played in the last two games. However, another concerning update has emerged.
On Wednesday, after being listed on the injury report with a knee ailment, the Super Bowl LIX champion missed Thursday's practice session with the Patriots.
Fans on social media shared their reactions to A.J. Brown's latest injury concern.
"The Eagles fleeced them," a fan said.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young isn't playing at 100 percent. But that, based off the reactions from head coach Dave Canales and Young himself, doesn't seem to be too great of a concern—at least for now.
Young's knee issue, which he sustained back in the Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns, has kept his name on the injury report for the last handful of games. The effects of that problem seemed most obvious on Thursday night, throughout the Panthers' 27-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
With his offensive line failing to keep the pocket clean time and time again, Young—as he usually would—opted not to use his legs to extend plays. He was pressured on a career-high 22 dropbacks, and attempted zero scrambles.
Canales was asked if he thinks Young has been hampered by the injury.
"Maybe," he replied. "I would say that he certainly doesn't look like he's got that quick make-you-miss kind of deal. But he was able to create some **** e for himself.

Pat McAfee did not enjoy his time in Utah last weekend as "College GameDay" was in Salt Lake City for the Utes' win over the Houston Cougars. The day before the broadcast the college shared a social media post with students saying things about McAfee that made him fear for his safety and alluded to the ****** assination of Charlie Kirk. He later said that he was advised to wear a bulletproof vest.
One person who does not feel any sympathy for McAfee is Michelle Beadle, the former ESPN personality who currently hosts "Run It Back" on FanDuel TV. Beadle appeared on Thursday's episode of "The Dan Le Batard Show" and was asked to weigh in on McAfee's week.
Beadle made the case that no woman in media could be as "soft" as McAfee and insisted that she was "enjoying every single second" of the fallout this week.
MORE: Pat McAfee 'always paranoid,' had Barstool co-workers 'walking on eggshells'
"Just want to remind all your viewers, your listeners, everyone who is fans of you guys… We are constantly told as women that we're hysterical, we're too emotional, we can't handle things," said Beadle. "I can't tell you how many death and rape threats I've gotten via social media in the last, I don't know, since 2009 when we got on Twitter originally. I could never be that soft. Never. This has been one of the softest, and we've seen quite a few from some of the people at the top of this food pyramid of sports media… one of the softest reactions to something that was so ridiculously unserious."

The fallout from Kylian Mbappé's comments about a meme depicting Mao Zedong has extended into football video games in China, while the creator of the original montage has spoken about the reaction. On the pitch, Madrid continued preparing for Sunday's visit to Racing Santander, with Arda Güler and Fede Valverde following individual programs. Carlo Ancelotti also announced his latest Brazil squad, calling up Vinícius Júnior and Endrick but leaving Éder Militão out.
The commercial consequences of Mbappé's remarks now include measures affecting Chinese versions of FC Online and Konami's eFootball-related ******* les. Reports citing announcements on the games' local channels describe the removal of promotional material and restrictions on content featuring the Madrid forward.
FC Online said it had begun removing Mbappé-related content from external channels and would implement further changes through an update. The Chinese versions of the Konami ******* les also announced measures covering promotion of the player and the characters or cards ******* ociated with him. The reported action concerns the Chinese editions, rather than a worldwide removal from the franchises.
The measures follow the termination of Mbappé's partnerships with Dongpeng, Mengniu and Milkground, alongside China Media Group's suspension of LaLiga broadcasts and other programming involving the player.
Real Madrid's apology has not ended scrutiny of the club's handling of the controversy. Chinese state-linked outlets and official platforms have questioned the timing of its response and called for measures beyond a public statement. Mbappé apologized on October 27, with Madrid issuing its own apology on October 28.

From time to time, it can feel like a lot of our most beloved celebrities and historical figures are dying at the same time. It has happened so often that now people expect famous people to die in threes, even when there's no reason for that.
And while all deaths are equally sad, it's true that some of them get way more media coverage and reactions, especially in the modern internet era. Looking through history, you might notice that some figures didn't get the homages they deserved only because another, more relevant figure happened to die on the same day.
So, here are some historical deaths overshadowed by other, more important deaths.

SAO PAULO, Oct 25 (Reuters) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva won a historic fourth term on Sunday, the country's electoral court said, in a shock result that defied polls, precedent and global anti-incumbent sentiment to put the brakes on a wave of right-wing election victories across Latin America.
However, his opponent Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, the eldest son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, refused to accept defeat and said he would ask for the result to be annulled due to a Sunday ruling from a Supreme Court justice that extended voting for two hours.
Bolsonaro led the election's first round but lost in the runoff by over 4 million votes, rattling Brazilian financial markets which had bet on his victory. His refusal to concede defeat has echoes of his father's reaction after losing to Lula in 2022. Jair Bolsonaro never accepted his loss and was later sentenced by the Supreme Court to 27-years in prison for plotting a coup to remain in power.
The scale of Flavio Bolsonaro's loss to Lula — by more than twice his father's losing margin — and the fact his campaign also asked for an extension due to rains in the conservative-leaning south make any annulment unlikely, **** ysts said.

The Kansas City Chiefs keep winning, and the latest in five consecutive victories to start this season put quarterback Patrick Mahomes in rarefied air. He tied all-time quarterback Tom Brady for fastest to reach 100 career wins.
When asked during his post-game press conference, Mahomes joked about Brady's incredible success.
"My honest first reaction is they've said this from 97 on. I'm like, 'When did (QB) Tom (Brady) lose another game?'" Mahomes said to laughter from the press pool. "Because I feel every game I win, I tie him."

Luciano Spalletti is a man under pressure at Juventus and calls for Antonio Conte to return as head coach are getting louder and louder following Sunday evening's 3-0 defeat at home against Lazio in Serie A.
Juventus have picked up just 11 points from their first seven matches of the 2026-27 season. They are currently one point worse off than they were at the same stage of the 2025-26 season, which led to the departure of Igor Tudor from his position as head coach after the eighth league match just shy of one year ago.

The atmosphere was sour inside the Allianz Stadium after full-time and supporters have also grown concerned by the reaction of the coach and players in their post-match media duties, centre-back Bremer claiming that he 'can't carry everyone'.
Many supporters online have been calling for Spalletti to go and for him to be replaced by former Juventus boss Antonio Conte. This has also been suggested in several newspapers and online outlets, including La Repubblica and Calciomercato.com.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has praised his side's response to their pre-international break humbling at Brighton.
The Gunners were ripped apart by the vibrant Seagulls at the end of September and had to stew on the defeat for three weeks as players went away to their national teams.
But they made it three wins from three after the restart as Noni Madueke's late goal earned a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
And Raya, whose side face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday, hailed the reaction as "incredible".
"We came back very, very strong, especially after that tough defeat against Brighton and having 19 days since then to play a game," he told the club website.

Gilberto Mora may have fuelled transfer speculation over a prospective move to Liverpool with his reaction to one supporter over the weekend.
Earlier this month, one Latin American reporter claimed that the Reds have already made an offer for the Mexican wonderkid, understood to be in the region of £38m.
The playmaker – who turned 18 last week – was a breakthrough star at the World Cup over the summer and has already made 75 senior appearances between club (Tijuana) and country.
Mora is currently sidelined with injury but was seen making his way back to the dressing room along with his teammates after their 0-0 draw against Puebla on Saturday.
When one spectator brandishing an LFC shirt excitedly shouted 'Liverpool' at the teenage playmaker, he replied with a thumbs-up gesture, sending the supporter into hysterics.

Nate Tice & Hayden Winks dive into their instant takeaways from Week 6 of NFL action. The show kicks off with reactions from the Green Bay Packers getting a win against a Dallas Cowboys offense that could not get rolling on Sunday Night.
This week's Pick 6 begins with a Philadelphia Eagles team that seems to be in deep trouble, losing their fourth straight, this time against a surging Carolina Panthers offense. The guys jump to the preseason Super Bowl favorite Los Angeles Rams losing another division game to the Arizona Cardinals. Is it time to panic in Los Angeles? Next, Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers pull off a comeback victory against undrafted rookie QB Jalon Daniels and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Nate & Hayden then discuss their reactions to the Houston Texans beating the Jacksonville Jaguars across the pond in London. Then, they take a look at the New Orleans Saints scoring 34 unanswered points against the New York Giants. Is there a QB competition brewing between Jameis Winston and J.J. McCarthy, who saw his first action in a Giants uniform on Sunday? To close out Pick 6, the guys break down Caleb Williams' return for the Chicago Bears in their triumph over the Atlanta Falcons.
Lastly, Nate & Hayden hit on some Extra Credit, including reactions to the Tennessee ******* ans getting their first win of the season against the struggling Indianapolis Colts, an exciting shootout between the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders, and the Cleveland Browns climbing the mountain to lead the AFC North with their win against the Baltimore Ravens.

Cam Skattebo faced a tough outing during the Giants' loss against the Saints for one particular reason, but his reaction has been humble and one that is focused on growth.
Cam Skattebo is a New York Giants fan-favourite, to say the least. During their Week 5 tie with the Washington Commanders, though, the running back committed a cardinal sin at a crucial moment. Skattebo fumbled the football with the team already in field-goal range, costing them a crucial opportunity to win.
There are very few things that coaches dislike at the highest level of football more than poor ball security. Any NFL running back faces massive scrutiny if they do end up losing the football. Skattebo is no different, although his punishment seemingly went well beyond the criticism.
It seems John Harbaugh wasn't interested in messing about when it came to this situation. Skattebo is certainly going to have to earn his coach's trust back. In their Week 6 loss against New Orleans, the running back was only on the field for six snaps and was not called upon for a single carry.
Najee Harris took up the role instead, and it will have been fairly embarrassing for Skattebo. Some NFL stars might get upset if this happens, but the 24-year-old's response to it revealed a surprising amount of maturity.

Paul George will enter the new season playing for a new organization after the Philadelphia 76ers traded him to the Boston Celtics. A team that, according to him, has helped him rediscover the love he has for the game of basketball.
Naturally, the 9-time All-Star's statement about his new team drew several reactions from fans.
This upcoming 2026-27 season will be George's 17th year in the NBA. His trade to the Celtics this past offseason marked an end to a two-year stint with the Sixers. For the veteran forward, though, it was more than just a move to a new team. It might have helped him fall back in love with basketball.
George shared his thoughts and feelings about joining the Celtics with Gary Washburn of the "Boston Globe."
In Washburn's article, he quoted George saying that he "would love to be able to call Boston home."

I'm living proof of the saying that "kids keep you young." My wife and I don't need social media. We've got multiple social barometers living in our house. But my usual reaction to every new trend or slang that enters their lexicon ("cooked" and "tuff" have been the new favorites) is skepticism. Before I try to figure out how much attention I need to put into what has them hyped, I try to figure out how serious they are about their enthusiasm.
Sunday's fantasy football action left me in a similar spot. We didn't get many massive box score performances from our stars. Instead, Week 6 was about our mid- and late-round picks or waiver-wire acquisitions. And with some giving us repeat results, the storylines coming out of Sunday should have us adjusting how we approach fantasy free agency on Tuesday.
Both Trevor Lawrence and C.J. Stroud were hooping all morning. They were the perfect pivot from whatever we had to watch on TNF. But as I was watching the Texans offense, a couple of things stood out.
what a throw from Stroud, too. pic.twitter.com/fz4EbOAKvT https://t.co/2MaTqWpPgd
First, Stroud's command of the offense was at an all-time high. Jacksonville came into the game with the 12th-highest pressure rate. Houston had a twofold response. It used an extra lineman on 35.6% of its plays (a season-high), and Stroud was getting rid of the football in 2.31 seconds (a season-low). The result was not only his lowest pressure rate (8.6%) but also his highest EPA per dropback (0.35). More importantly, the Jaguars' defensive measures, which included blitzing Stroud on 31.4% of his dropbacks, didn't stop him from throwing the ball.

Meghan Markle is reportedly facing fresh tensions with her US team after a promotional image for her As Ever brand drew criticism over its cooking setup. The reported fallout comes as the ******* ss of Sussex seeks to hire senior British staff. However, an insider claims her history of staff turnover could make it harder for her to attract experienced candidates.
According to sources cited by Naughty But Nice, Meghan Markle has grown frustrated with her US team after critics questioned an As Ever promotional cooking photo. The image appeared to show a gas stove that was switched off, leading critics to question the cooking setup. However, the photo alone does not confirm whether Meghan was actually cooking or whether she used the stove at another time.
An insider claimed Meghan expected her team to catch potential problems before the image reached the public. "She exploded," the source said. "It was, 'How did ******* ody catch this?' Meghan expects her team to protect her from exactly this kind of ridicule." However, her reaction may be making it harder for her to hire new staff. "She blames the American team when things go wrong, while prospective British employees are watching," the source explains. "Nobody wants to become the next person blamed — or the next departure that makes headlines."
Meghan is reportedly looking to strengthen her team in the UK, including by hiring an executive ******* istant. However, the insider claims that attracting experienced British candidates has become difficult because of the attention surrounding staff departures over the years. The source argued that a prestigious ******* le and the opportunity to work closely with Meghan may not be enough to convince top candidates to accept a role.
"Meghan can offer a glamorous ******* le, but the best people aren't biting," the insider told Naughty But Nice. "Her reputation gets there before the job offer does." The source added that prospective employees may wonder whether they would have a different experience from previous staff members. "People see the turnover and think, 'Why would it be different for me?'" the insider claimed.

Despite the S&P 500's (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) 13.3% gain thus far in 2026, there's still plenty bubbling beneath the surface that could trigger a sharp and sudden market crash. Stubborn inflation, the U.S. national debt sitting above $40 trillion, and fears of an artificial intelligence bubble are just a few concerns.
As one of the most successful investors of all time, Warren Buffett has some sage advice. It's found in the 1996 Berkshire Hathaway shareholder letter, which offered one of the top strategies for handling a market crash. The good news is that it can be followed before a crash even starts.
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
It's easy to feel panicked when the market starts tumbling, and making any kind of move, even if it's a knee-jerk reaction, can initially feel better than making no move at all. While that small voice whispering to "sell" may never go away during the initial waves of a market crash, it can be countered by being prepared in advance.
Buffett shared exactly how to counter it. In Berkshire's 1996 shareholder letter, he said, "If you aren't willing to own a stock for ten years, don't even think about owning it for ten minutes."

New York Knicks superfan and actor Anne Hathaway was left in shock when co-star Dakota Johnson claimed she had no idea who OG Anunoby is.
Hathaway has had a blockbuster 2026 with starring roles in movies like Inertia and The Odyssey. She was also a public presence during the Knicks run to the 2026 NBA ******* le, having expressed fandom for OG Anunoby in particular earlier in the season.
While Anunoby's name has been immortalised in sports lore for his contributions to the Knicks' ******* le win, Hathaway could not believe the reaction of her non-sports-knowing co-star Johnson at Anunoby's mention.
In an interview alongside Josh Hartnett and Dakota Johnson, Hathaway is asked to identify previous collaborators through clues. Hartnett and Johnson are visibly stumped when they're asked to describe OG Anunoby, with Johnson asking Hathaway if that was a real person.
Hathaway would then explain Anunoby's legendary tip-in winner in Game 4 of the NBA Finals to help the Knicks take a 3-1 series lead against the Spurs before sealing the series in Game 5 and winning the ******* le.

Taylor Swift cross-eyed jokes took center stage during the latest episode of the New Heights podcast. Travis Kelce couldn't help but react after spotting a fan-made Halloween display inspired by him and his wife. While he loved the festive tribute, one funny detail immediately caught his attention.
Travis Kelce shared a hilarious reaction after seeing a Halloween display featuring hay versions of himself and Taylor Swift.
On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce, looked at fan-submitted Halloween decorations. One display showed "Haylor Swift" wearing a sparkling outfit inspired by the Eras Tour alongside "Travis Kelc-Hay" in a Kansas City Chiefs uniform.
After seeing the display, Travis jokingly asked, "Why'd they have to make my wife cross-eyed?" The eight-word remark quickly became one of the episode's funniest moments.
Jason agreed that Taylor's eyes looked slightly crossed in the decoration. He then joked that maybe she was about to sneeze. Travis laughed and revealed there was some truth behind the joke. "She does go cross-eyed before she sneezes," he said, prompting more laughter between the brothers.

Henry Cavill has found himself at the center of a very different kind of online frenzy. A new Googlebook commercial featuring the actor has sparked enthusiastic reactions from fans, with them quickly turning the ad into its own little event.
The excitement comes partly from how naturally Cavill fits the campaign. Google in its blog post, describes him as an "actor, producer and technology enthusiast" whose interests include gaming and "fantasy lore." The company says he also runs his own production company and uses Googlebook for personal projects tied to his creative ambitions.
Googlebook pairs high-end hardware with Gemini Intelligence and adds a grab bag of features, including Continue on phone syncing, Rambler for speech-to-text and Antigravity. Google has built the machine to play nicely with Android devices while still having enough muscle for demanding creative projects and professional workloads.
Cavill also offered a positive first impression after trying the device before its release. He said Google's pitch about its integrated tools intrigued him enough to request hands-on time with the product. After working with the team, he described it as having "the whispers of the next generation."
Online reactions focused on the actor as much as the new computer. One fan joked that "hiring Henry Cavill is cheating" because people would watch him simply set up a printer.

Zendaya is facing backlash after a video of her meeting France's First Lady went viral. The clip, shared by Paris Match, shows the actress staying seated while Brigitte Macron stopped by to say ******* o at the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week. The brief moment has caught everyone's attention online, with many debating whether she should have stood up.
Zendaya's seated ******* o to Brigitte Macron leaves social media divided. The 30-year-old actress sat in the front row at Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2027 show on Tuesday. The show was held in the Cour Carrée of the Louvre.
In the video shared online, Macron, 73, walks through the front row, greeting guests like Pharrell Williams and Lisa of BLACKPINK. She then pauses to speak with Zendaya. At first glance, the exchange looks warm and friendly. But upon closer look, Zendaya never rises from her seat. Reportedly, she said ******* o, told Macron it was a pleasure to meet her, and shook her hand.
The clip quickly sparked debate online. Some viewers criticized Zendaya for remaining seated, with one viral reaction saying she "gotta get up" when the First Lady says ******* o. Many viewers agreed, saying standing would have been the polite thing to do. "When the Premier Dame from France Talks to You please get up," one Instagram user wrote. Another commenter, who said she loves Zendaya, noted that American culture seems more relaxed about formalities than others.
Others came to her defense. Some fans suggested she may have been caught off guard, pointing out that the greeting was quick and unplanned. A few added that a busy front row at a fashion show isn't exactly a formal setting, and that Zendaya came across as gracious and polite throughout. Neither Zendaya nor Macron has addressed the reactions yet. For the unversed, Zendaya is a Louis Vuitton ambassador and a regular at the brand's Paris shows.

If Harper Beckham has no fans, it's because her elder brother, Cruz Beckham, has perished.
The budding musician had a fabulous reaction to his younger sister and budding beauty mogul, who was the topic of a conversation between British presenter Holly Willoughby and The Traitor's star, Joanne McNally.
The Irish comedian was asked by the former This Morning host which celebrity she would like to be, to which Joanne replied: "Harper Beckham," adding that she knew it "should be someone like Tina Fey."
Joanne went on to cite all the things she felt would be brilliant about being the 15-year-old, having the influence of Victoria Beckham, her upcoming beauty brand, as well as holidaying on a yacht, all being things on Joanne's list.
And the proof was in the pudding, as Cruz left a gushing comment on a clip of the moment on TikTok. "Me too, Harper is the most amazing human ever," which gained 1,239 likes.

A woman regrets agreeing to a barter collaboration with a property after learning where she would be staying. In the opening of her TikTok video, Tara Lynn (taraswrld) said, "I just found out some crazy sh** about the hotel I'm supposed to be checking into today." She said she would check out of her current hotel and check into the new one the same day, but after the reveal, she has "nowhere to go."
Lynn described her initial reaction to the property representatives contacting her. She said, "They emailed me the other day while I was at Harry about this comp stay. So I, like, briefly looked at their website. Everything looked nice. I signed the contract." However, she noted that a day before she was supposed to check in, she did a deep dive on the property's website and found out she was checking into a hostel with rooms of about 32 square feet and shared bathrooms.
How did Lynn deal with the information? She got in touch with the hostel's staff but, unfortunately, was disappointed. Speaking about how the conversation went, she said, "I emailed the person I was emailing with, and I was like, 'Hi. I didn't realize that this had shared bathrooms. I don't feel comfortable with that due to, like, safety purposes.' I was also like, 'I have three suitcases. Like, I just physically can't fit into a room that's 32 square feet'…They said, no, babe, this is a hostel."
Lynn ended her video by saying she didn't have a hotel for the next three days. She also mentioned that three other influencers were in the city besides her, and they were staying in hotels charging them $1,800 a night. She said she didn't know whether she should be spending that much on her stay.
Some commenters on Lynn's post thought staying at the hostel was a good idea, with some noting it would be a unique experience worth documenting. One person wrote, "Do it for the plot." Another said, "Hostel would make for good content."

Chris Rock sat down with David Marchese for The New York Times series "The Interview," wherein he discussed his new movie "Misty Green." The conversation touched on cancel culture and forgiveness, and Rock shared a story to make a point.
"When you're Black, white people believe every accusation is a conviction," he said before sharing his story involving Roger Logan, the brother of one of his childhood best friends.
The comedian said Logan was wrongfully convicted of murder, and when his close friend approached him pleading to fund a lawyer to help free his brother, he refused. "I always had, like, a no-lawyer thing because a lawyer is like an open-ended thing," he explained.

A royal expert claimed that Princess Diana loved King Charles until the very end. Moreover, she reportedly believed their relationship might have worked if they had met when they were a little older. The remark came after Charles Spencer released a memoir about Diana containing several bombshell claims, particularly about the monarch.
Princess Diana allegedly thought she met King Charles "at the wrong time." Ingrid Seward, the royal author, recently spoke about her conversations with Diana and her feelings about Charles with The Royal Observer. The comments come after the release of Charles Spencer's new memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister. The book covers Diana's life, her marriage to Charles and the events surrounding her death. Spencer makes several claims about the former Prince of Wales, including allegations about his reaction following Diana's death.
Diana's brother mentioned that Charles sounded "giddily elated" during a phone call following Diana's death. He also wrote that the then-Prince of Wales said people would forget Diana "soon enough." Seward shared her thoughts on the matter and questioned whether Diana would approve of the allegations currently being made about Charles. The royal author said, "[The accusations are] the last thing in the world that Diana ever would have wanted, because she loved Charles. She loved him right until the end."
Seward also said that Diana wished they could have gotten back together. The renowned author said that Diana told her that had they met at the right time, when they were a little older, their relationship might have worked.
After their divorce was finalized in 1996, Seward said Diana and Charles were getting along quite well. She added, "There was a moment of togetherness, and Diana actually said to me, 'It's so sad because we could have conquered the world.'" Charles and Diana tied the knot on July 29, 1981, and had two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. Their formal separation was announced in 1992, and their divorce was finalized four years later in 1996.
