This summer, the club went after PSG's top transfer target Yan Diomande after the French club reached an agreement with him, and stole him away in broad daylight. Furious at the development, the Parisiens contacted Real Madrid target Rodri hoping to steal him.
As reported by Diario AS now, PSG did indeed make a call to Rodri offering him a move to Paris this summer. They persuaded the player and attempted to convince him to put aside his dream of joining Real Madrid.

The reported name change comes after years of estrangement from Cruise. The Mission: Impossible star was ordered to pay $400,000 annually in child support, plus medical, dental, education and insurance expenses, until Suri turned 18, the outlet reported.

Getting rid of the football before it becomes a sack is one of the least appreciated skills a quarterback can have. Fortunately for the Los Angeles Rams, Matthew Stafford has shown to be one of the best in the NFL at doing just that — and landed among one of the best quarterbacks all-time.

All or nothing. Nothing else matters. Super Bowl or bust. Bold statements like these are as expected from pro athletes as they are cliché. It's a mindset NFL fans demand to hear from their favorite players and it's a mindset that some fans even take on themselves. Some fans might say it out loud so many times they actually believe it.
When Dak Prescott recently said the Dallas Cowboys had Super Bowl expectations, no one batted an eye. Throughout his career, Prescott has led some of the best offenses in the NFL. 2026 is shaping up to be more of the same with Prescott operating at the top of his game and his **** nal of weapons having never looked better.
Yet the Cowboys defense provides some unavoidable cause for concern. They are coming off a season where they were at or near the bottom of the NFL in almost all major categories and they enter 2026 with more than a few major questions left to answer. But coming off a 7-9-1 campaign and having missed the postseason for two consecutive years, how realistic are Super Bowl expectations in 2026?
"It's always been my mindset," Prescott said of his Super Bowl expectations. "It's the one thing I truly love about the Cowboys organization and the fanbase. It's all or nothing."
It's possible Prescott actually believes this but it's far more likely he's saying what he feels he's supposed to say. It's hard to believe anyone outside of maybe the Los Angeles Rams or Seattle Seahawks actually believes this "all or nothing" mantra this season. The investments those two teams made are significant, and based on recent play, the extreme expectations for them are realistic. The Cowboys have neither of those factors working in their favor.

Apple stakes its company on the success of its hardware business, although it generates a fair bit of revenue from its services as well. Alphabet is more software focused. Alphabet clearly has some hardware exposure, but it also has a cloud computing business that involves purchasing hardware and renting it back out to clients. Regardless, both companies have proved their merits over the long term.
However, Alphabet looks to be the stronger company. From a revenue standpoint, Apple is still outperforming Alphabet. But that's not nearly as important for companies this size. What matters is how the company uses that revenue, and investors are more focused on profits. From a net income standpoint, Alphabet is starting to put some distance between itself and Apple.

BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla has firmly rejected rumours over Rohit Sharma's international future, stating there is "no question" of the India opener retiring at this stage despite growing speculation during the recent England tour.

Questions over Rohit's future gathered pace after a prolonged lean patch with the bat, with reports suggesting the third ODI against England at Lord's could potentially be his final appearance for India. What do an HVAC company and a power-and-cooling equipment supplier have in common? Comfort Systems USA (NYSE: FIX) and Vertiv Holdings (NYSE: VRT) are both riding the artificial intelligence (AI) boom thanks to the data center build-out happening behind the scenes.
The market has noticed. Over the past year, Comfort Systems' stock has risen 214%, while Vertiv's has risen 131%. They're tied to AI infrastructure in very different ways, which matters when you're trying to figure out what's really driving the gains.

Real Madrid have entered the battle for Yan Diomande, and that matters. It matters for RB Leipzig, it matters for Paris Saint-Germain, and it certainly matters for Liverpool, who had already tested the water earlier in the summer over a deal worth close to €100million. Once Madrid show up, the market changes. Prices move, agents gain leverage, and clubs with genuine interest quickly discover whether they are truly prepared to go all the way.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Madrid are now in talks with Leipzig over the 19-year-old winger. PSG remain keen and, crucially, Diomande had made the European champions his preferred destination. That preference is relevant, though only up to a point. Leipzig are under no pressure to sell, the player is contracted until 2030, and no club gets a discount just because it happens to be favoured by the player.
This is where Liverpool's position starts to look awkward. They made an approach earlier in the window, with the report stating it was "approaching €100million (£86.8m; $115m) in value." Leipzig, however, were "holding out for a fee closer to €130m" while also attempting to secure Diomande on a new deal. In other words, the German club's stance has been clear from the start. If someone wants one of the most explosive young wide players in Europe, they will pay heavily for the privilege.

There is no mystery around Leipzig's public line either. "Our clear intention is that Yan Diomande will play for RB Leipzig next year," the club's managing director of sport Marcel Shafer said. Clubs say things like this all the time, and sometimes they are posturing. Sometimes they are setting up a negotiation. In this case, it looks more like a simple message, bring a huge fee or go away.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Ryan Blaney faces a high-stakes weekend in Indianapolis.
He's hoping to put Roger Penske back in victory lane at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and he'd like to add a second crown jewel win to his resume. At the same time, he's chasing a $1 million pay day — if he finishes ahead of surprise finalist Todd Gilliland in NASCAR's second In-Season Challenge.
Blaney's solution is to simplify matters by sweeping both ******* les Sunday with one amazing Brickyard 400.
"We obviously understand what we're going for with the In-Season Challenge," Blaney said before Friday's short practice. "But at the same time, you're trying to win the race. That's the big one here — and trying to win for Roger at this place is incredibly important in our race shop and to everyone on this team. So I've looked at it as like, just go try to run the best race you can and focus on that."
Blaney heads into race weekend as the favorite in the final round of the challenge. The 2023 Cup champion has strung together 11 consecutive finishes of 11th or better, a feat he's achieved in 17 of 21 races this season. Two weeks ago in Atlanta he captured his second win of the year.
