Prince Harry has opened up about the emotional toll of leaving his royal life behind, revealing that he slipped into a two-week depression after relocating to Canada with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their young son, Prince Archie.
The Duke of Sussex, 42, reflected on the difficult period during an appearance on MasterClass, explaining that his departure from the high-pressure environment he had grown accustomed to triggered an unexpected physical and emotional response.
"Being in Canada, away from the stressful environment where presumably my body was just pumped full of adrenaline, within two or three days, I experienced this adrenaline crash, something that I'd never experienced before," Harry recalled.

Martha Stewart may not have a private jet, but she's done very well for herself over the years.
The lifestyle guru, 85, appeared on the Tuesday, October 6 episode of David Rogier's Other People's Business podcast, where the MasterClass founder and CEO asked whether fellow businesswoman Kim Kardashian has ever come to her for advice.
"We've talked, but she doesn't need my advice," Stewart responded. "That group is really, really good, and I really admire it. You know she's flying around in a G5. I don't have a G5."
"Why don't you think that you have a private jet?" Rogier questioned, to which the TV personality explained, "Because I fell in a hole and I lost about a billion dollars in my legal problems. The lawyers took me to the cleaners, and they were horrible."

Prince Harry is opening up like never before about grief and what losing his mother, Princess Diana, at age 12 has meant for nearly every chapter of his life since.
In Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss, a new MasterClass available Oct. 8, the Duke of Sussex, 42, sits down with neuroscientist and grief expert Dr. Mary-Frances O'Connor for an intimate and at times deeply emotional conversation about loss, trauma and the ways grief can affect both the brain and body.
Rather than a traditional interview, the class — timed ahead of World Mental Health Day on Oct. 10 — unfolds as a candid exchange between Harry and O'Connor, a professor of clinical psychology and psychiatry at the University of Arizona whose research focuses on the psychological and physiological effects of bereavement. Together, they explore the science of grief and resilience while Harry draws extensively on his own life — from losing Diana and serving in Afghanistan to therapy, panic attacks, his marriage to Meghan Markle and life as a father.
"I didn't cry when I was told my mom died, only at her burial, and then not again for nearly two decades," he says near the start of the class. "I was convinced that was strength, but it wasn't. It was a 12-year-old boy with no permission to fall apart and no roadmap for how to heal."
"You would think I had the best help in the world. I'm a prince for God's sake, but I was still grieving and didn't have any place to put those feelings," he continues.

Uncrowned has Ryan Garcia vs. Conor Benn live results, round-by-round updates, ring walks, highlights and start time for the Garcia vs. Benn fight card on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Two of boxing's biggest and most polarizing stars go head-to-head as Ryan Garcia defends his WBC welterweight ******* le against Conor Benn in the night's main event.
Garcia (25-2, 20 KOs) captured the WBC welterweight ******* le with a dominant unanimous decision win over Mario Barrios this past February in Las Vegas. He has two defeats: a 2025 decision loss to Rolando "Rolly" Romero for the WBA welterweight ******* le and a seventh-round TKO at the hands of Gervonta "Tank" Davis in 2023.
Benn (25-1, 14 KOs) narrowly fell short against Chris Eubank Jr. in a Fight of the Year in April 2025. He avenged that defeat last November, knocking down Eubank twice in Round 12 to seal a masterclass performance.
Benn shocked the boxing world this past February by announcing a defection from Eddie Hearn's Matchroom to Dana White's Zuffa Boxing. Benn outpointed Regis Prograis in his Zuffa debut in April.
In the night's co-feature, former two-time IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia (30-0, 23 KOs) challenges WBC champion Noel Mikaelian (28-3, 12 KOs). Although there is no official confirmation yet, the WBC cruiserweight ******* le isn't expected to be on the line, with Mikalian set to be stripped by the sanctioning body upon the start of the bout.

These observations — where I look at Real Madrid's history, its players on loan, Castilla, tactical tidbits, and other relevant thoughts — are now a regular thing. All previous editions can be found here.
Here is a new thing I'm committing to this season: Five semi-informal bullet points after each game.
Also, check out last night's post-game podcast where I break down the loss for 34 minutes:
I'm not pushing a panic ******* on. I realize that what I'm about to say will come across as 'low standards', 'acceptance of mediocrity', 'a moral victory', etc — but I will say it anyway and with my chest: If you replay this game 10 more times, Real Madrid wins it 10 times. We just happened to play the freak version where Kylian Mbappe missed a penalty, three big chances, and then Vinicius missed a big chance, Espi had bad luck, and Real Madrid squandered an xG of nearly four. The math checks out: Real Madrid were mostly good but didn't score, somehow. What should've happened was Real Madrid go up one or two goals by half-time, Bellingham and Güler get a deserved ******* ist each, then Real Betis open up in the second half and get cooked. But also, all that to say: Real Madrid didn't deserve to win just because they created more chances, and I just made up a scenario to make myself feel better — possibly because I feel numb to the way the last two seasons have gone. Also: Real Madrid are generally terrible at the Benito Villamarin in the last few years. But, at some point, you have to stop using past precedence as an excuse to lose. How many league ******* les do Real Madrid have in the past 20 years again? Answer: Not enough.
Another Arda Güler masterclass, wasted. He's basically been lights out in every minute he's played in this season. When I have to repeat this after every Arda Güler performance, that's pretty ******* good evidence that he's one of the best players in Europe right now, and certainly, from an ******* ytical standpoint, clearly one of the best creators on the entire continent.

Interested in Yum! Brands, Inc.? Here are five stocks we like better.
Yum! Brands sold its Pizza Hut business outside Mainland China to LongRange Capital for about $1.5 billion, with total carve-out proceeds reaching roughly $2.7 billion.
The divestiture lets Yum! Brands shift toward a leaner, higher-margin franchising model concentrated on Taco Bell and KFC amid industrywide fast-food traffic declines.
The company also authorized an approximately $4 billion share buyback and maintains an eight-year dividend growth streak, reinforcing shareholder returns despite short interest and executive turnover concerns.
The fast-food industry is facing a severe reality check. Menu price hikes are pricing out the core lower-income demographic, causing a decline in foot traffic across the sector. Yet amid this crisis, one operator just executed a masterclass in corporate defense.

It is safe to say that Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes is enjoying a fantastic week. Fresh from lifting the PFA Players' Player of the Year award, the Portuguese maestro delivered a masterclass against Ipswich Town last Sunday in the 5-2 Premier League win.

The 31 year old is also in the running for Premier League's Player of the Month award for August. Should he triumph in that race, it will be his seventh win, equalling the current record held by Mohamed Salah, Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane.
Fernandes registered a league-record 21 ****** ists last season as United finished third, winning the Premier League Player of the Season and the FWA Player of the Year awards. Lewis Hamilton just brought the Monza paddock to an absolute standstill by arriving for Thursday's media day behind the wheel of his freshly restored Ferrari F40. Ahead of the 2026 Italian Grand Prix, the seven-time world champion proved exactly why he is F1's ultimate style icon, blending a rare piece of automotive history with a perfectly tailored vintage aesthetic.
The viral video captures the sheer aura of the moment as Hamilton pulls the iconic wedge-shaped supercar into the paddock, sporting a custom "44" license plate on the front ****** per.
While the screaming twin-turbo V8 engine was enough to draw a massive crowd of photographers and paddock personnel, Hamilton's exit from the car was pure cinematic perfection.
Stepping out of the low-slung bucket seats, Hamilton delivered a masterclass in vintage styling. The Scuderia driver emerged wearing a crisp black suit and tie, a black Kangol beret, and vintage shades, all layered under a heavy, tan overcoat draped over his shoulders. Clutching a leather briefcase, he paused to secure the F40's lightweight door before effortlessly striding through the sea of flashing cameras.
But this wasn't just a PR stunt using a random museum piece; this F40 is a deeply personal project for the Formula 1 legend.

The name Dolly Parton immediately conjures an image of a larger-than-life figure with big hair, loud makeup, dazzling clothes, enhanced features, and a personality as magnificent as the music legacy ******* ociated with it. This multi-dimensional visual is only fitting for a cultural icon who fashioned a persona so colorful that to honor Parton's amazing life as an artist would be incomplete without celebrating her unmatched style.
The Grammy-winning country singer, who died on August 25, 2026, of cancer, was a truly original fashion icon — even though she demurred at the notion of being considered one. Right from her girlhood days in Tennessee, where she grew up as a poor farmer's daughter who found creative ways to beautify herself, to her time as a globally beloved celebrity who, despite relentless lampooning, stayed true to her authentic tastes, Parton was a masterclass in catching every curveball and turning it into an opportunity for greatness.
The best part was that she refused to compromise. "It took me probably years longer to be taken serious, but I wasn't willing to change it, and I figured if I had the talent, it'd show up sooner or later," she told The Guardian. And she did; the industry could overlook a talent as exceptional as Parton for only so long. There have been few, after all, who could play perfect chords with extra-long acrylic nails. Here is the significance behind Dolly Parton's signature style and why she was never seen without it.

In our siloed society, it's becoming rarer to find actors that are truly household names across the mainstream. But go out into the street blindfolded and pick a passerby at random, and chances are, they know Halle Berry and her work. The former teen beauty queen started racking up the acting credits in the late '80s, and has since starred in projects that have embedded themselves firmly in American culture, from quiet charmers to buzzy blockbusters. Berry made history in 2001 as the first Black woman to win a best actress Oscar for her role in "Monster's Ball."
If you're like us, you've also been swooning over the stunning style transformation of Halle Berry for decades, alongside her catalog of work. Her natural beauty has been fueling headlines during her entire duration in the spotlight — and rightly so — but we also need to spend some time talking about the 'fits, because those are just as stunning as the genes. She turned 60 in August 2026, and, in honor of her entering a new decade, we thought why not look back at some of the most ooh-worthy style moments of her 50s? We've got the pics to prove Berry is only getting better with age.

In April 2018, Halle Berry hit the red carpet at the 29th GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills showing more than a little leg in an olive-green number. The "Catwoman" actor reached for an Adeam two-piece 'fit that was a masterclass on how to do minimalism without veering into boring. The wrapped blouse — with its off-the-shoulder fit and studs trailing along the arms — offered the right amount of oomph. Berry paired that with an itty bitty asymmetrical skirt and matching sandals, and threw her brunette locks up into a topknot for a totally wearable yet interesting look.

CAPE TOWN, South Africa (AP) — South Africa coach Rassie Erasmus was looking forward to watching New Zealand counterpart Dave Rennie squirm for the next week after tying their four-test series on Saturday.
The Springboks relied on a masterclass of goalkicking by Cheslin Kolbe — seven from seven off the tee — to win the second test 33-26 after New Zealand outscored them on tries 4-3.
World champion South Africa dropped the first test in Johannesburg and hasn't lost consecutive tests at home on Erasmus' watch — since 2018 — and he was relieved they got back into a series in which they started as the heavy favorite.
"Of course I felt the pressure, and the players will tell you I felt the pressure. I try not to put it on them but I was nervous," Erasmus said.
He noted he and the older Rennie were November babies, both Scorpios, and quipped: "That's why he's able to work me out.

Rory McIlroy stands as one of the greatest drivers the game of golf has ever seen. His ability to launch the ball high while keeping it straight is a masterclass in modern power. Many amateurs struggle to find this balance. They often sacrifice accuracy for distance or vice versa. McIlroy has cracked the code. He offers three specific secrets for improving your own driving. These adjustments aren't just for the pros. They apply to any golfer looking to gain yardage without losing the fairway. The insights come directly from his recent technical breakdowns shared with the media.
The first secret involves the setup and ball position. McIlroy emphasizes a slight forward press at address. This move helps deliver the clubhead with a positive angle of attack. It's crucial for getting the ball up in the air quickly. The second secret focuses on the swing path. He advocates for a shallow approach into the ball. This reduces the chance of a slice while maintaining speed. That shallow path allows the clubface to stay square longer, which is huge for consistency. The third secret is about release. McIlroy delays the release of the club until just before impact. This creates a lag that generates massive clubhead speed. The combination of these three elements results in a high, penetrating ball flight. It is a technical process that requires patience to master.
McIlroy won't have to change drivers this offseason. This consistency is key. He knows exactly how the club feels. The TaylorMade Qi4D driver decision aligns with his needs. The club provides the stability he requires for his high-speed swing. McIlroy's driving stats remain among the best on tour. His ability to hit the ball down the middle is rare. It is the result of years of fine-tuning these specific mechanics. The three secrets aren't magic tricks. They are fundamental changes to how the body moves through the shot. Golfers who adopt these tips often see immediate improvements in their distance metrics.
The modern game demands power, but accuracy is still king. McIlroy proves you don't have to choose between the two. His approach offers a blueprint for the average player. Most amateurs try to hit harder by swinging faster. This usually leads to poor contact and lost distance. McIlroy's method suggests working on the angle of attack instead. A higher launch angle can actually add carry distance without increasing swing speed. This is a vital lesson for golfers over 35. As flexibility decreases, maintaining speed becomes harder. Optimizing launch conditions becomes the new priority. The shallow approach he uses helps maintain control. It keeps the ball in play even when the swing isn't perfect. This reliability is what separates the good drivers from the great ones.
Equipment also plays a role in this success. The driver he uses is designed for forgiveness. It helps correct minor errors in the swing. However, the swing mechanics are the foundation. Without the right angle of attack, even the bes

An ordinary round of golf turned into an extraordinary masterclass as an English amateur defied astronomical odds to card eight birdies across just nine holes.
Allan Harrison started his round at Fairhaven Golf Club with four dropped shots down the front nine before a "pasty and a drink" at the halfway house gave him a burst of life.
The 64-year-old then fired seven consecutive birdies and eight in nine holes - a run of form rarely seen in professional golf, let alone at an amateur level.
Harrison has some prowess as a former foursomes partner of Tommy Fleetwood at Southport and Ainsdale Golf Club.
England Golf calculated the odds across all golfers for making eight birdies in nine holes as an astonishing one in 322 billion.

On Tuesday, Aug. 18, Brooks Nader dropped a new 10-photo carousel on Instagram, where she showed off a sultry Roberto Cavalli ensemble that was a masterclass in Italian vacation fashion.
In the cover snapshot of the photo set, which she playfully captioned, "Sea ya ," the model and Love Thy Nader ran up a luxurious flight of wooden stairs in a silky, cream-colored slip dress by the aforementioned designer. The ready-to-wear piece was simultaneously timeless and on-trend, courtesy of its chic cut and semi-sheer paneling. Nader accessorized the style further with a coordinating pair of strappy sandals and oversized black sunglasses, adding extra sparkle with a glimmering ring, a bejeweled necklace and matching earrings.
The model looked over her shoulder as she moved upstairs, shooting the camera a cheeky smile for a dynamic final shot that looked like something plucked straight out of a 1950s fashion magazine. Her long, caramel-colored tresses were styled in lush, carefree waves that cascaded down the open back of the slinky dress, adding to the laid back, effortless look. Meanwhile, her makeup was a late-summer-friendly natural glam comprising matte skin, rosy cheeks and a beautiful glossy lip.
Other snapshots included in the vacation photo set further highlighted her designer duds, showing the reality TV star enjoying time on the water in Capri with her friends and family. Overall, the sleek ensemble had the pure glamour of a classic Italian film-and we weren't the only ones in love. "Will never get over these photos," model Kylie Vonnahme wrote in the comment section. Meanwhile, one fan also sensed some Old Hollywood energy, asking, "Anyone else getting Marilyn Monroe vibes? These pics are stunning ."
And August has proved to be a standout month in an already exceptional career year for Nader, as she's continued to add accolades to her incredible fashion rsum. For instance, earlier this month, Old Navy revealed that the model would be one of the faces of their fall denim campaign, posing alongside Grammy Award-winning recording artist Cardi B and popular influencer Haley Baylee.

Despite losing the series to the Cubs, the Nats ended things on a high note thanks to a Cade Cavalli masterclass. He helped secure a winning home stand and the bats continued to thrive. Now the Nats head to New York to face a last place Mets team. However, the Mets have been playing a bit better lately.
The Nats have quite the interesting lineup today. Jose Tena has played the outfield late in games, but today he will be in left field to start. Jacob Young will be in center and Daylen Lile will move over to right. Brady House will be the DH, while Jorbit Vivas plays third and Nasim Nunez is at second. Andrew Alvarez looks to build off of back to back impressive outings.
Juan Soto is out of the lineup for the Mets, but we will be seeing Francisco Lindor. The Mets shortstop missed a couple months this season. In a disappointing season, the young duo of Carson Benge and A.J. Ewing has been a bright spot for this team. Journeyman Robert Stock will be on the mound tonight.

The Indiana Fever dismantled the New York Liberty on Tuesday night, winning with a final score of 106-92. It was another masterclass performance from Indiana's guards, with Caitlin Clark scoring 22 points and dishing 10 ***** ists and Kelsey Mitchell adding 28 points of her own.
However, heading into the game, Fever head coach Stephanie White faced calls for her job from several members of sports media for failing to "defend" Sophie Cunningham after a hard foul by Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington on Saturday.
White addressed her detractors directly before Tuesday's game.
"You know, this isn't necessarily for those people that are in this room," she said in her pregame presser. "This is more for an online community that's trying to create narratives that simply don't exist, trying to create a fabrication or distortion of who I am, of what I'm about.
"Our players' success, our players' health and wellness, our players' safety is always a top priority for me. One of the things I pride myself on is my relationships with players. For those who have anything to say about the play in the last game, I didn't see the play in real time. I take personally any suggestions that I don't 100% always have my players' back. I ride with them 10 toes down all the time. All the time. They know that."
