The Denver Broncos drive was derailed by a really bad holding call on Pat Bryant. The hold was just the Kansas City Chiefs player falling down, but that's how it goes in today's NFL. They would punt it back to the Chiefs after gaining most of the yards back.
Denver's defense would come up big on the Chiefs' next drive with Malcolm Roach tipping a third down pass near midfield to force another punt.
Starting from their own 12 yard line, Bo Nix and the Broncos offense opened things up with a checkdown to Adam Trautman for a six yard gain and a quick toss outside to Pat Bryant was an easy first down but he took his eye off the ball just long enough to drop it. On third down and four, Nix hit Jaylen Waddle finally but was immediately hit and tackled a yard short of the first down marker.
After a short two yard run for the Chiefs, Que Robinson exploded off the edge and nearly sacked Patrick Mahomes who threw the ball into the dirt to avoid the sack. On third and eight, Mahomes was pressured again and somehow picked his way through the line and gained just enough for the first down. That would be all they would get and would be punting a few plays later.
A nice punt return by Marvin Mims Jr. finally got the Broncos starting position outside of the 20 yard line for a change. An end around by Troy Franklin picked up five, then an outstanding spin move by RJ Harvey picked up four yards. On third and one, Nix from an empty backfield was immediately pressured and had to scramble to throw it away for yet another punt.

The Denver Broncos have announced their list of six inactive players for a Monday Night Football showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.
Broncos quarterback Sam Ehlinger, running back Tyler Badie, offensive lineman Kage Casey, tight end Dallen Bentley, defensive end Jordan Jackson and defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim are inactive tonight. With the exception of Ehlinger, those players won't suit up for the game. Ehlinger will still dress as the team's emergency third-string quarterback.
With Badie inactive, rookie running back Jonah Coleman is set to make his NFL debut as the club's RB3 behind J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey.
All of Denver's inactive players are healthy scratches. The only player on the team's injury report this week was wide receiver Marvin Mims (foot), and he has been cleared to play.

The Seattle Seahawks are 1-0, so it's time to start scouting their next opponent.
The Arizona Cardinals shocked the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1 with a 26-14 win in which Mike LaFleur became the franchise's first non-interim head coach to win their first game in charge. The matchup was projected as one of the opening week's most lopsided in favor of Jim Harbaugh and Los Angeles, who were coming off an 11-6 record in 2025. Los Angeles made the playoffs and lost to the eventual AFC champion New England Patriots in the Wild Card round, albeit without either of their starting offensive tackles—Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt—who were both expected to boost the offense upon their return this season. Arizona's defense had other ideas, and became one of the biggest surprises of any unit across Week 1's Sunday slate, while their offense simply looked more talented and outplayed LA with complementary football. That's what the Seahawks will be looking for in Week 2.
The Cardinals defense played with an energy that stifled Justin Herbert and new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, who only held the ball for 51 plays and 22:29. Arizona ran 21 more plays and had the ball for 15:02 more of the game (more than an entire quarter?!) When watching this game, the attitude from Arizona's defense seemed to disregard the stature of its opponent. LaFleur retained defensive coordinator Nick Rallis, who Phoenix-based sports radio host John Gambadoro credits for helping set the temperature.
It's easy to see Rallis' results. The intensity of the defense that showed up on tape is just as evident on paper. His Cardinals defense ranks second to last in blitz rate so far this season, yet they held McDaniel and Herbert to a measly 2-for-8 on third downs and 0-for-3 on fourth downs. Their front seven was far more formidable than the Chargers on the day, producing 17 pressures on 55 snaps while LA could only muster 12 on 75 opportunities. On the flipside, the Cardinals' offensive line has been projected as their downfall this season. The Seahawks have a clear opportunity to establish their presence as a physically dominant team if they kill the Cardinals momentum. This will be the game for elite run blockers like AJ Barner and run stoppers like Uchenna Nwosu to put the new age film community on watch.
Offensive talent is far from the problem in Arizona. Trey McBride is the best tight end in football. They've got two running backs in Jeremiyah Love and Tyler Allgeier who can both be a problem for any team. Marvin Harrison Jr. was a matchup nightmare against the Seahawks last season. In Week 3, he had one of the best battles against Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen of any wide receiver all year. When partnered with a seasoned veteran quarterback with a quick release, they were able to make life easy on their OL. Jacoby Brissett looked like at least an average starting QB, completing 27/37 passes for a respectable 73.0% completion rate while taking only 1 sack on 39 dropbacks. Loo

The Denver Broncos are releasing a veteran wide receiver just ahead of their season opener.
The Broncos cut receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey on Monday, according to the NFL's transaction wire. Multiple reporters have dubbed it a "procedural move" as Denver is expected to re-sign LJH as early as Tuesday.
With Humphrey not on the team's Week 1 roster, his salary won't be guaranteed this season. That could have been part of the decision. The team might also consider bringing LJH back on the practice squad, opening up a spot on the active roster.
Following the Humphrey cut, Denver's remaining receivers on the active roster are Courtland Sutton, Jaylen Waddle, Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin.

Walmart Inc. (NASDAQ:WMT) and The Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE:HD) are both booking real tariff refund windfalls, but reporting and using the money in noticeably different ways, CNBC reported.
Walmart CFO John David Rainey said the company is eligible for roughly $2.9 billion in refunds, has yet to receive just under $100 million of that, and saw Walmart U.S. gross profit grow 1.6% from the boost; Rainey said Walmart plans to use the funds to lower prices for consumers, with the impact showing up in the current fiscal third quarter.
Home Depot said it received $730 million in tariff refunds during its fiscal second quarter, using about $685 million to reduce the cost of goods sold, lifting gross margin by 0.3 percentage points. CFO Richard McPhail called that "the vast majority" of what the company expected. Lowe's Companies, Inc. (NYSE:LOW), by contrast, said it would not use its refund to cut prices, with CEO Marvin Ellison saying the company wants to "deliver strong profitability for our shareholders" instead.
Walmart Inc. (NASDAQ:WMT) can turn its tariff refund into both lower prices and solid sales. The firm expects roughly $2.9 billion in tariff refunds and has already used part of the benefit to lower prices on about 11,000 products. Walmart can attract price-sensitive shoppers and increase traffic. It can also strengthen its market share if those lower prices generate more purchases.
The Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE:HD) has taken a consumer-focused approach to its tariff refund while still protecting its margins. The company expects to receive roughly $730 million in tariff refunds and plans to apply about $685 million toward its cost of goods. That approach gives Home Depot room to pass savings to customers while retaining a financial benefit, potentially helping it compete more aggressively for home-improvement spending.

The Arizona Cardinals perhaps will have a sneaky good offense in 2026. They have the skill players with running backs Jeremiyah Love and Tyler Allgeier, receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson, and tight end Trey McBride. They are not expected to be good defensively.

The Seattle Seahawks have made another practice squad change ahead of their Week 1 opener against the New England Patriots, one that is worth monitoring given the uncertainty surrounding the health of Nick Emmanwori.
Veteran safety and special teams contributor D'Anthony Bell was added to Seattle's practice squad on Saturday. Rookie outside linebacker Marvin Jones Jr, who was waived during final roster cuts last weekend, has been released to make room for Bell.
Bell was released by the Seahawks as a vested veteran and thus didn't go through waivers, but it was somewhat surprising to see him not signed to the initial practice squad. He spent most of last season with the Seahawks alternating between practice squad and active roster before he was claimed off waivers in December by the Carolina Panthers. His playing style lends itself to replicating some of Nick Emmanwori's blitzing and work down in the box, so if Emmanwori is unavailable for the Patriots game due to his ongoing ankle surgery recovery, Bell figures to be a candidate to be elevated to the active roster on Wednesday night.

Stenhousemuir manager Marvin Bartley has not spoken to Livingston sporting director David Martindale since resigning from the West Lothian club at the end of last season.
The two sides face each other for the first time in the Scottish Championship on Friday evening in front of the BBC Scotland cameras.
Back in May, Bartley and ***** istant Neil Hastings said they "had no option but to resign" after being asked to reapply for their positions with Livi.

Three years after the 2023 NFL draft, CBS Sports has re-graded each team's draft class. And it's not looking so good for the Denver Broncos.
The 2023 NFL draft was the only one performed by former coach Nathaniel Hackett, and the first by current Broncos general manager George Paton. Denver's 2023 draft was a little light, after the team traded its first-round pick and a second-round pick to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for quarterback Russell Wilson.
"(The Broncos) had five picks in the draft and all five are still with the team," Pete Prisco of CBS Sports wrote. "The best pick was corner Riley Moss in the third. They also got receiver Marvin Mims in the second, trading up to take him. If only they hadn't made the trade for Wilson." Prisco originally gave the team a B- for their haul.
Although all five players from the draft are still with Denver, some of their careers have gone off in very different directions.
Of the lot, Mims, Moss and center Alex Forsyth have had the most success for the Broncos. Drew Sanders has been limited due to injury, and JL Skinner is a constant special teams player. Prisco gave the Broncos a C now, after looking back at the class.

On August 19, Lowe's Companies (NYSE:LOW) reported second-quarter sales of $26 billion, up 8.3% from a year earlier, even though comparable sales inched up just 0.2%. The headline number hides a split personality inside the business. Pro contractors, online shoppers and Do-It-For-Me customers kept spending, while everyday DIY homeowners pulled back hard enough that management trimmed its full-year guidance. That gap between who is still spending and who isn't is the real story in this quarter.
Pro sales grew again, and management credited small and medium-sized contractors responding to the company's digital planning tools and the MyLowe's Pro Rewards loyalty program, which lets Pros quote, plan, and manage jobs inside Lowe's own platform. Online sales jumped 15.7%, helped by expanded visualization tools and the Mylow AI agent, which has fielded more than 25 million customer and ******* ociate questions since launch.
Notably, CEO Marvin Ellison said the conversion rate for online shoppers who use Mylow runs triple that of shoppers who don't, a sign the tool is doing more than answering questions. Appliances delivered a seventh straight quarter of positive comparable sales, aided by next-day delivery in virtually every US ZIP code and a push into premium products like Traeger grills and a GE Profile refrigerator that scans groceries for an Instacart shopping list. Loyalty is compounding too: MyLowe's Rewards has crossed 30 million members who shop more often and spend more per visit than nonmembers, giving the company a growing base to sell that premium ******* ortment into even while the broader housing market stalls.
Comparable transactions fell 2.1% during the quarter, offset only by a 2.3% rise in average ticket, and management pinned the weakness on weather-sensitive and seasonal categories where DIY shoppers dominate. Executive Vice President Joe McFarland said Pro customers themselves are noticing it, describing homeowners who are "more cautious about their spending" and shifting toward smaller repair jobs instead of full remodels.
That caution pushed Lowe's to guide toward the bottom of its prior range, now targeting roughly $92 billion in sales and $12.25 in adjusted earnings per share for the full year. Margins felt it too. Adjusted operating margin slipped 62 basis points to 14%, and CFO Brandon Sink noted that an $80 million tariff refund benefit was largely wiped out by elevated fuel and transportation costs. The company's Foundation Building Materials and Artisan Design Group acquisitions add another layer of risk, since Sink flagged "softer-for-longer new home construction" pressuring demand in both segments. Inventory climbed to $17.7 billion, up $1.4 billion year over year, and adjusted debt to EBITDA sits at 3.0x against a 2.75x target management doesn't expect to hit until mid-2027. Third quarter earnings are guided to come in roughly 7% below last year's adjusted EPS.

To many, this year's Arizona Cardinals will be in contention for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. They don't really have a set quarterback, much of the roster remains a work in progress, and it sure feels like a lot will be on rookie tailback Jeremiyah Love's shoulders. In other words, many think the 2026 version of the team will be absolutely terrible. By direct contrast, no one is necessarily anointing the Green Bay Packers as a bona fide Super Bowl heavyweight, but they do have playoff-caliber expectations.
At the very least, the green and gold are expected to be solid and relevant well into December.
That's what made the news that the seemingly lowly Cardinals dominated the Packers in two-minute drill sessions during a joint practice on Wednesday kind of surprising. Yes, it's a practice setting where the point is to learn, not to garner perfect results on every repetition.
But still, it's notable that the Cardinals had their way with the Packers, in at least one part of practice, in any fashion. Maybe they're not as bad as some think they are? (OK, they're probably still terrible.)
One of the more notable segments of this practice sequence came on a lovely toe-tap touchdown for Marvin Harrison Jr. It's been tough sledding for Harrison Jr. thus far in his NFL career, particularly from a confidence standpoint, given the greatness many thought would come out of him after his days at Ohio State.

1.FC Köln were given an early scare by Würzburg but eventually demonstrated their class to secure a 2-1 comeback victory in the first round of the DFB-Pokal.
The Bundesliga side looked the better team for much of the opening stages, but it was Würzburg who took a shock lead after just 18 minutes. Full-back David Abrangao found a way past Köln goalkeeper and captain Marvin Schwäbe to put the hosts 1-0 ahead.
The goal came somewhat against the run of play, leaving René Wagner's side with plenty of work to do if they wanted to avoid an early DFB-Pokal exit.
Köln continued to push for an equaliser but had to wait until the second half to get their reward. After 62 minutes, midfielder Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson finally broke through for the Bundesliga outfit, converting after being set up by Ragnar Ache to make it 1-1.
The Iceland international was not finished, however. Fifteen minutes later, Jóhannesson struck again to complete the comeback and put Köln 2-1 ahead.

Over the past two seasons, Marvin Harrison Jr. has been a name that plenty of NFL fans have paid attention to. Naturally so, as the Arizona Cardinals selected him fourth overall in 2024. It is now the dawn of the 2026 season, and Harrison Jr. still hasn't proven why he was picked that high. He's dealt with injuries, which makes it tough to gain traction. Not only that, but he's also had multiple quarterbacks.
Harrison Jr. has shown flashes, but he has struggled to stay consistent. A player with that talent, though, is destined to break out at some point. Over training camp, he has looked fantastic, no matter who is throwing to him. He's finally starting to develop the confidence that he's been missing over the first couple of seasons of his career.

The Cardinals are in denial, and the kids are suffering. Marvin Harrison Jr. has been miserable since arriving in Arizona. Trey McBride lashed out at Cardinals fans, or the lack thereof, and later retracted his criticism. We'll see what happens with rookie sensation Jeremiyah Love, but he's already hurt. In the daunting NFC West, Arizona will string its marriage of convenience with Jacoby Brissett along for one more season, and we'll see what happens in the 2027 NFL Draft.
The Falcons boast Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts Sr., an extremely talented group of offensive weapons. But with Michael Penix Jr. or Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback, it won't matter in the end. It's really sad to watch Penix Jr. and Tagovailoa's bodies betray them. It also really stinks to consider Atlanta wasting another talented roster in the quarterback wilderness and missing the playoffs for a ninth straight season.

Lowe's (LOW) stock rose 2% on Wednesday after the company reported an earnings beat but gave a more cautious outlook, citing "pressure" in do-it-yourself (DIY) consumer spending.
In the second quarter, Lowe's revenue came in at $26 billion, just below the $26.1 billion the Street expected. Adjusted earnings per share, which included a $0.11 benefit from IEEPA tariff refunds, came in at $4.27, above the $4.22 the Street predicted based on Bloomberg estimates.
"Our total home strategy is working," Lowe's CEO Marvin Ellison told Yahoo Finance. "This strategic framework has enabled us to drive five consecutive quarters of positive comps. … With the DIY under pressure, we still have been able to deliver."
Poor weather during the Memorial Day weekend weighed on weather-sensitive outdoor and seasonal categories, as did competitors' use of tariff refunds to put up promotions on items like grills, patio, and live goods.
Amid a tough housing backdrop that disproportionately affects DIY customers, Lowe's same-store sales grew 0.2%, below the 0.7% expected.

Florida State and the National Football Foundation will honor Peter Warrick and his recent induction into the College Football Hall of Fame during the Seminoles' Oct. 31 game against Clemson at Doak Campbell Stadium.
It's part of the NFF's On Campus Hall of Fame salute. Each electee returns to his respective school to accept an NFF Hall of Fame plaque that will stay on permanent display at the institution, and it gives the home crowd an opportunity to recognize the player.
Warrick was one of the most dynamic players not only in FSU history, but in college football. He played from 1996-99 after redshirting in 1995 and was a two-time consensus All-American. He holds the FSU record for career receiving touchdowns with 32, and he compiled a 45-4 overall record during his time in Tallahassee.
A 1999 National Champion, Warrick's 3,517 career receiving yards were the most in ACC history and ranked second on FSU's all-time list. He also ranked second in program history with 207 receptions, 15 100-yard receiving games and an average of 4.81 receptions per game.
Announced in January as FSU's 12th Hall of Fame electee. He joins his former head coach Bobby Bowden (inducted in 2006) and teammate Warrick Dunn (2024) in the College Football Hall of Fame. FSU's other inductees include Marvin Jones (2022), Terrell Buckley (2019), Derrick Brooks (2016), Deion Sanders (2011), Ron Simmons (2009), Charlie Ward (2006), head coach Darrell Mudra (2000), Fred Biletnikoff (1991) and Ron Sellers (1988).

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today announced several new bouts for the upcoming UFC 332 event on Paramount+, recently made official for Sat., Oct. 3, 2026 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Chief among them is the bantamweight contest pitting Deiveson Figueiredo against Payton Talbott, a bout that could land Talbott a spot in the division Top 15.

Marvin Harrison Jr. had a lot to live up to growing up as the son of a Pro Football Hall of Famer, and his little brother Jett also has some big shoes to fill.
The current Arizona Cardinals wide receiver had nothing but glowing things to say about his brother, who is committed to Ohio State in the class of 2028.
"Jett is a lot more talented than I ever was at his age," Harrison Jr. said. "I just love the confidence he has in himself, he feels like he can do anything in this world and I love that about him."
Harrison Jr. said Jett Harrison is naturally programmed to work hard, and that he doesn't have to do much to keep Jett on the straight and narrow.
"I just try to do my part in being his big brother, just steer him down the right path. I always just emphasize the work ethic," Harrison Jr. said.

ESPN recently dropped their annual set of "future" power rankings, which are based on how well the franchise is set up to be successful over the next three or so seasons. The Cardinals were unfortunately ranked dead last thanks to a lackluster quarterback situation.
Jacoby Brissett is not what any team wants as their long-term franchise guy, and Carson Beck as not played enough to show if he's the answer there, either. If the latter does work out, the Cardinals would understandably shoot upwards in these rankings. If he doesn't, it would all hinge on whether or not they land their guy in 2027.
It's a ******* mer to think that their young nucleus of offensive talent doesn't add up to much for these rankings, but if there's a silver lining at all right now, it's that.

Yes, the Cardinals have some young offensive talent in running back Jeremiyah Love, tight end Trey McBride and receivers Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr. However, the QB situation dampens that excitement. Their fortunes improve significantly if they land a top rookie quarterback in 2027 or if Carson Beck proves to be a franchise guy.
Defensively, Walter Nolen and Will Johnson are the only young guys to build with. Josh Sweat and Budda Baker are aging.

The Arizona Cardinals aren't expected to be very good in 2026. However, after the start of the preseason, perhaps they won't be quite as bad as people have believed.
While they are projected to have the lowest win total in the NFL, in new preseason power rankings from NFL.com, they aren't at the bottom of the league.
Surprisingly, they are ranked 26th.
Once you're done sipping the Carson Beck Kool-Aid (I know, it really is refreshing), come take a seat with me and consider where the Cardinals are right now. They're entering 2026 with a veteran bridge quarterback, another respected backup behind him and a rookie who turned heads in the Hall of Fame Game. While it carries a lower ceiling, that scenario suddenly doesn't sound too bad, especially when considering the weaponry Arizona has ***** embled: newly minted Madden NFL 99 Club member Trey McBride, No. 3 overall pick Jeremiyah Love, former No. 4 overall pick Marvin Harrison Jr. and 1,000-yard receiver Michael Wilson. Not bad! Much of the Cards' success will depend on whether they can protect Jacoby Brissett and if they can consistently get stops defensively. But despite this No. 26 ranking, I'm shifting toward a sunnier outlook with this team.
Now, ranking 26th isn't exactly good. However, when the perception has been that they will be the worst team in the league and now they are ahead of six, it is a start.

The Denver Broncos released their first depth chart of 2026 on Wednesday, as is mandated by the NFL.
The league requires clubs to publish a depth chart before their first preseason game, but many teams (including the Broncos) call it an "unofficial" depth chart, so it should be taken with a grain of salt.
Still, it's the first depth chart we have received from the team this summer, so it's worth discussing. Denver coach Sean Payton, as usual, has rookies at the back of the line as they have to prove themselves before climbing the depth chart. Let's jump into a few quick takeaways.
1. Jarrett Stidham is listed as QB2: Stidham, who has served as Denver's backup quarterback since 2023, is facing competition from Sam Ehlinger this summer. Ehlinger has gotten some reps with the second-team offense at training camp, but he's still listed as QB3 going into preseason.
2. Marvin Mims is WR3: Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Waddle are listed as the two starting wide receivers, and Marvin Mims is listed as a third starting receiver. Pat Bryant is listed as the backup behind Sutton, Troy Franklin is behind Mims and Lil'Jordan Humphrey is listed after Waddle.

The Denver Broncos are gearing up for their first preseason game on Friday. They will be on the road against the Atlanta Falcons. With that, they released their initial unofficial depth chart of the season and will likely look nothing like the depth chart that ends up dropping ahead of Week 1, but its something we can pick apart.
As per usual, the rookies all get shuffled to the bottom of the depth chart across the board. There is quite literally nothing us fans can take away from that. It is just how it goes.
Instead, the veteran depth chart can be a bit more interesting. Seeing Marvin Mims Jr. ahead of Troy Franklin despite the latter getting far more playing time in 2025 is interesting. On the defensive side of the ball, I had expected to see Eyioma Uwazurike at the top of the depth chart for his position group, but it is Malcolm Roach who has it locked down for now.
Outside of that, no real surprises anywhere and that is expected being this is the unofficial depth chart and vanilla one at that.

The three newest additions to the Denver Broncos' 91-man offseason roster have picked their jersey numbers.
Broncos wide receiver Kyre Duplessis received No. 33, defensive back Ricardo Hallman got No. 32 and receiver Kyrese Rowan landed No. 37. Those three players were signed after defensive lineman Matt Henningsen (Achilles) landed on injured reserve, cornerback Jaden Robinson was waived with an injury designation and veteran defensive back Sam Webb was released last week.
Duplessis and Rowan will provide more depth at receiver following injuries to Jaylen Waddle and Marvin Mims. Rowan will share No. 37 with defensive back Sean Fresch. If they both make the active roster, one of Rowan or Fresch would have to change their number before the regular season.

While Head Coach Sean Payton is out at the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, for QB Drew Brees' induction, defensive coordinator and former Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph is running today's practice.
In today's camp report, we have Pat Bryant really establishing himself as the Broncos WR and a trusted target for QB Bo Nix, rookie running back Jonah Coleman impressing between the tackles, Uwazurike praised by DC Vance Joseph, news and notes, injury updates, tweets from camp, quotes and more!
One constant throughout the first week or so of Broncos Camp has been the play of second-year wide receiver Pat Bryant. He showed flashes of his talent late last season before injuries derailed his rookie year, but he has carried that momentum into the early portions of training camp.
Today, with Jaylen Waddle and Marvin Mims sidelined, Bryant stepped up and was the Broncos' top playmaker and Bo Nix's most trusted target throughout practice, including what some are calling the best play of camp thus far. During a team drill, Bo Nix was under heavy pressure and threw an absolute dime to Pat Bryant, who was in double coverage for a touchdown.

The Broncos are a little bit banged up at the wide receiver position. Star receiver Jaylen Waddle suffered some sort of strain, according to head coach Sean Payton, and is expected to be back in about "4 to 5 days". Not the end of the world, but likely sidelines him into next week and for the Broncos preseason opener on Friday Night. Then, at the end of Friday's practice, Marvin Mims Jr. suffered some sort of lower body injury. He pulled up from a route and immediately went off to the field with a trainer before going back to the locker room. No word on the extent of the injury, but he's likely sidelined for a little bit at least.
So, with the wide receiver room looking a little thin, the team added some depth. They announced that they have signed undrafted rookie wide receiver Kyre Duplessis. The Denver Post's Luca Evans is reporting that the team is also signing Kyrese Rowan, who spent time with the team last season.
Both players were brought in for tryouts during Friday's practice, and Duplessis looked the best and was signed by the Broncos. However, after Mims went down with the injury, the team called Kyrese Rowan, who had already flown back home, to come back to Denver because they wanted to sign him too. He is expected to have his physical this morning and then officially sign with the team soon after.
Rowan was invited to the Broncos' rookie minicamp last season after he went undrafted and then unsigned during the UDFA signing period. He impressed the Broncos coaches enough that they decided to sign him to their 90-man roster. However, he was among their final cuts, and they decided not to sign him to their practice squad at that time. His story does not end there because in October, Rowan was signed to the Broncos' practice squad, where he stayed until December, when he was released to make room for Elijah Moore. A week later, Rowan was back on the Broncos' practice squad. He did not receive a futures deal from the team and remained unsigned throughout the offseason. Now, with the Broncos needing some depth at the wide receiver position, Rowan is back with the team.
As for Duplessis, he is an undrafted rookie out of Coastal Carolina and Delaware who has spent time with the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks this offseason. The 5-11, 193-pound receiver brings 4.6 speed and some return experience to the Broncos while also adding some backend depth to their wide receiver room.

The FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) quickly drew the ire of governing soccer bodies worldwide, with UEFA the most outspoken in its anger at the plan, while both CONCACAF and the AFC also denounced it.
As such, FIFA President Infantino was relatively quick to act as his support collapsed from under him like quicksand less than a year out from another election. The plans were pulled and, following a crisis meeting on Wednesday, an apology was made public.
