Four men have been arrested after a vehicle crashed into a central reservation in Scunthorpe during a chase.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said it failed to stop for officers on the A18 on Sunday at 09:20 BST.
The vehicle was being chased before the crash, in which there were no reported injuries. The Met said it was carrying out "a proactive operation" in Scunthorpe, with the ***** istance of Humberside Police.
The four men – aged 37, 35, 29 and 28 – were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to rob. They remain in police custody.

Aug 21 (Reuters) - The U.S. government on Friday finalized a plan to slash water supplies to California, Nevada and Arizona to manage the drought-stricken Colorado River.
The three so-called lower basin states will take around a 21 percent reduction in water from the river in 2027 and 2028, but potential cuts could nearly double in following years, according to the plan signed by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.
Arizona and Nevada have said any plan to double the cuts after 2028 would devastate their economies. Arizona has threatened to sue the federal government if it imposed these potential cuts as part of the new 10-year plan.
Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming, the upper basin states, face no mandatory cuts under the plan. The Colorado River provides water to one in 10 Americans, irrigates land producing 15% of U.S. food output and generates power for 6 million people in seven states.
In three years of failed negotiations between the seven states, upper basin states refused to take cuts, arguing they face automatic cuts in water supply due to the severe drought impacting the U.S. West.

At least 12 people have died and 23 others are unaccounted for as firefighters in southern Spain battle a rapidly spreading wildfire, officials said.
The identities of the deceased -- who were located in the southeastern village of Bedar -- are not known yet but foreign nationals are among them, Spain's Civil Protection said on Saturday.
The weather is expected to be better on Saturday, allowing firefighters to contain the fire, officials said.
Andalusian regional leader Juanma Moreno said in a Friday post on X that at least eight people had been injured, including four who were in serious condition.
In an interview Friday morning on Spanish radio, Moreno said four of those killed were believed to be British nationals who became trapped in a car while trying to escape the flames.
