Emma Watson was photographed (shared by deuxmoi on Instagram) arriving at George and Amal Clooney's Italian home on Saturday, August 8. In the photos, the Harry Potter alum wore a light-colored floral dress with dramatic puff sleeves as she made her way toward the property, running her fingers through her hair and carrying a brown bag.
The sighting quickly caught fans' attention, largely because Watson and the Clooneys aren't exactly a celebrity friendship people would expect.
"My theory is that the Clooney's have paid her to babysit and tutor their kids as Hermione Granger," one person on Reddit joked.

New Washington Commanders wide receiver Stefon Diggs met with the media on Friday after his first practice. Diggs spoke for close to 15 minutes, expressing gratitude not only to be with a team that has a chance to win big, but, even more importantly, to play for his hometown team.
Diggs made it no secret he wanted to play for the Commanders. Throughout the offseason, Diggs was asked about playing for Washington. It was clear that the Maryland native was ready to return home to the region where he grew up.
On Friday, Diggs was asked why the Commanders were a good fit for him.
"It's home," he responded. "My family's here, my support system is here. I love everything about home. And the organization, they take care of their players. Some good people over here. I had some existing relationships from guys that were in Houston, so some carried over there. They got a great young quarterback. I'm familiar with young quarterbacks. [QB Jayden Daniels] He's a star. He's a superstar. I'm excited for him, excited for this team."
The entire time Diggs was speaking, he was fighting off bugs. It was quite funny. He joked several times and smiled throughout. But the final question led to an emotional, thought-out answer.

With The Pat McAfee Show broadcasting live from Steelers training camp on Monday, it was no surprise that Aaron Rodgers was set to make an appearance. How that appearance went was either surprising, or exactly what you might have expected, depending on how much attention you've been paying to appearances on the show over the years.
The biggest headlines Rodgers made stemmed from his jokes about "pleading the fifth," referencing the recent Senate hearing at which former NIAID director Anthony Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment. He went on to call Fauci an "absolute coward." Rodgers has made his feelings on the COVID-19 pandemic exceedingly clear, so those comments, while fiery, didn't come as all that big of a surprise.
What was a bit more shocking was the shot that Rodgers took at ESPN, the network he was appearing on. Rodgers first expressed frustration with ESPN for spending time covering his own vaccination status while not covering the recent hearings. He later pivoted to calling out the network for what he believed was a lack of coverage of the scandalous relationship between NFL insider Dianna Russini and New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel that came out over the summer.
"What was this network doing?" Rodgers asked. "You had literally an individual that maybe used to work at ESPN, that covers our league at the highest level, and there's a major scandal, and it's just like ****** ody can f*cking talk about it? What are we even doing here?"

Allen Park — One day after star running back Jahmyr Gibbs missed the Detroit Lions' first training camp practice of the year, coach Dan Campbell said he's "not sweating" the negotiation tactic but did think an extension would be done by now.
Gibbs, the No. 12 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, became extension-eligible this offseason and is expected to receive a deal that pays him north of $20 million annually.
According to a photograph from the Lions' website, Gibbs arrived in Allen Park for camp Tuesday. He and Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson are reportedly holding in for new deals as they look to reset the running back market.

Trace Adkins says he has forgiven his second wife, Julie Lauren Curtis, for shooting him through the heart and lungs during an argument more than three decades ago.
The country singer revisited the near-fatal 1994 incident during a July 28 appearance on This Past Weekend With Theo Von.
Although Adkins joked that Curtis "took it a little far," he also described the point-blank gunshot as a "kill shot" that he would not have survived without emergency medical care.
Adkins declined to press charges after the shooting. He now says he does not believe Curtis fully understood what the gun would do when she pulled the trigger.
"That took it a little far, I thought," he told Theo Von. "That was uncalled for. That was totally uncalled for. Just leave. Let's just call it quits, and we don't have to go that far." Memphis football starts preseason practices on July 30, and that means the Tigers' quarterback competition is about to kick into gear.
The competition between West Florida transfer Marcus Stokes and South Carolina transfer Air Noland is set to dominate preseason storylines, but new coach Charles Huff has a way to get around the conversation when the Tigers kick off their season on Aug. 29 at UNLV.
"Actually I'm really thinking about running them both out there the first play, just so everybody can say both of them started," he joked at a press conference on July 28.
In reality, Huff said, he wants to be able to tell the team about a week before the game. There's both uncertainty and potential upside with each quarterback — Stokes was highly productive at the Division II level but has never played a Division I game, while Noland has barely played in college but has been around elite quarterbacks at Ohio State and South Carolina.
In talking about the need to have two quarterbacks who can play at a high level, Huff referenced last year's Memphis team. Starting quarterback Brendon Lewis got injured in the middle of the season and was never 100% after that as the Tigers lost their last four games and finished 8-5.

Speaking at the opening of the inter-college hockey tournament commemorating the platinum jubilee of his alma mater, St Joseph's College of Commerce (SJCC), here on Friday, Dravid reminisced about his days on the hockey field.
"I played a lot of hockey in school. I was fortunate to play with people like Anil Aldrin and Sandeep Somesh for two reasons. Firstly, we were a strong team and won tournaments like Centenary Shield and the Father Eric Vaz inter-school tournaments because of these two guys. Also, it was a good lesson for me because when I watched them play or played with them, I realised that I was better off playing cricket," Dravid joked.

Incidentally, Dravid and Somesh both played as midfielders, while 1996 Atlanta Olympian Aldrin was a defender. The 53-year-old Dravid said hockey had played an important role in his formative years. "I loved playing hockey. It was a great team sport. India has such an incredible history, legacy and tradition in hockey," he said.
Dravid also praised the resurgence of Indian hockey after the men's team secured back-to-back Olympic bronze medals in Paris and Tokyo. "We haven't been able to reach the heights and standards that we had in the past, but I'm glad we have been quite successful in recent times. There is a revival of hockey," he observed.
The two-day five-a-side inter-college hockey tournament, which has attracted 17 teams, has been organised by SJCC's Old Students' ****** ociation (OSA) and Yes For Hockey. The competition is timely for the revival of collegiate hockey, which has declined over the years.
Lauding the efforts of OSA, Dravid said, "They've been very passionate about trying to revive hockey and get more youngsters to play it, which is really important because it's such a phenomenal sport to be a part of. I think it's only going to keep getting better."

ESPN's Anthony Slater revealed that Kerr is already giving a vote of confidence to Lendeborg and may even start the rookie:
"I asked him about his early conversations with Steve Kerr, and he mentioned, 'Hey, you know, Steve has a history of not playing rookies,' but basically said, you know, he's different, and Steve Kerr's already told him he might start."
Lendeborg has already received more confidence from Kerr than the players that never got to fulfill their potential in Golden State. The older age of Lendeborg as a 22 year old who spent more time in college likely impresses Kerr. Next season's roster also will see the Warriors needing new talent to step up, especially if they can't land LeBron James in free agency. Kerr is ready to give Lendeborg a fair chance to prove he can help the team win.
Lendeborg has joked multiple times about trying to change the narrative that Golden State won't play rookies. Jonathan ****** inga is the biggest reason why Kerr is judged for not being the best coach for young players to get a realistic chance at proving their worth.
