US stock futures were mixed after three days of declines as investors took stock of tensions in the Middle East and earnings from tech companies like Broadcom (AVGO) and Snowflake (SNOW).

The Baltimore Ravens released their final unofficial depth chart of the preseason ahead of Friday night's matchup against the Washington Commanders. The chart provides another look at Baltimore's roster hierarchy before the team concludes the preseason and reduces its roster to 53 players by 6 p.m. Sunday. It also confirms that at least two starting competitions remain unresolved.
Unofficial depth charts are compiled by the communications department and should not be treated as final roster decisions. They can, however, reveal how players are grouped and which competitions remain open.
Here are seven takeaways from Baltimore's latest depth chart.
Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic share the starting center position with an "or" designation. The competition became more significant after Danny Pinter suffered a torn patellar tendon during a joint practice with Minnesota. Pinter remains listed fourth on the depth chart but is expected to miss the season. Gwyn's athleticism and familiarity with offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford have helped him earn first-team work. Pocic offers considerably more NFL experience and has returned to game action after recovering from an Achilles injury.
Wednesday's joint practice and the preseason finale provide the final major evaluation opportunities. Baltimore needs the winner to develop communication and timing with Lamar Jackson before Week 1.

Costly defeats and losing their grip on a prized Champions League berth in the final two matchday's effectively sealed Hjulmand's fate. With a desire for stability, Leverkusen's chiefs decided that a change at the helm would be needed, thus parting ways with the 54-year-old after a sixth-place finish.
With several components of their squad at the 2026 World Cup, Leverkusen partially regrouped for pre-season on 14 July. Players were met by a new face in coach Carles Martinez. The Spaniard, arriving from Girona, said he was keen to bring his intense and passionate style of football to the BayArena.
With routine wins over Sportfreunde Baumberg (7-0) and Kickers Offenbach (3-1), Leverkusen faced a sterner task in KRC Genk. The Belgian Pro League side were brushed aside 4-0, with further impressive displays from summer signing Afonso Moreira alongside Nathan Tella and Christian Kofane.

One word that could be used to describe the wide receiver room of the Buffalo Bills is "unknown" and that weighs heavy on one ranking.
FOX Sports grouped together every NFL team's skill position players on offense and then put all 32 head-to-head against each other. In a surprise because the quarterback position was not factored into this discussion, the Bills only land at the No. 21 overall position on FOX Sports' list.
Here's the outlet's breakdown on the Bills:
James Cook is a phenomenal RB and one of the best ground weapons in football. So that's great. But nothing else about Josh Allen's weapons comes close to matching that level. As always, his WR group is lacking. The Bills brought in DJ Moore, who is 29 and in decline. Beyond him, their best hope is Khalil Shakir, who is a decent No. 2 receiver.
Buffalo does have a nice TE duo in Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox, who combined for decent numbers last season (75-988-9). But it remains one of the NFL's great mysteries why the club has ignored saddling its MVP-caliber QB with a better No. 1 receiver since trading Stefon Diggs after the 2023 season. Without that elite go-to guy, this team's firepower is all about Allen and Cook. Maybe that's enough. But the Bills sure could have made their lives easier.

Down 6-2 in the final set, the Trailblazers of Sierra Canyon got Lucky.
Lucky Fasavalu, their poised senior setter, came through with two key aces during a pivotal rally as Sierra Canyon, the nation's top-ranked team, battled back for an 18-25, 25-11, 15-9 win over 'Iolani for the Ann Kang Invitational championship on Saturday afternoon.
'Iolani, the No. 1 team in the Star-Advertiser Girls Volleyball Top 10, forced the talented Trailblazers into adversity. Their five future Division I players regrouped after set one and went to another level. Kendall Omuruyi went into overdrive with five of her six blocks in the second-set comeback. The Nebraska commit also had five kills.
"We decided that we needed to play calm. The crowd was loud and we had to focus," Omuruyi said. "In between the first and second set, I prayed and the Lord gave."
'Iolani coach Kainoa Obrey is glad his team never backed off, even with Omuruyi doing incredible things.

The Chicago Bears were back for the third practice of training camp on Friday, which welcomed fans to Halas Hall for the first open workout of the summer.
The Bears put on a show for the fans on Day 3, which was dominated by the offense and featured several standout performances. Quarterback Caleb Williams is off to a hot start this training camp, and his connection continues to grow with his returning cast of weapons in Colston Loveland, Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III. There was also an interesting left tackle battle update, where for the first time this summer it wasn't Braxton Jones running with the first team. Meanwhile, the defense put up a bit of a fight during red zone drills, where Williams threw his first interception of camp.
Here's what we learned from the third practice of training camp:
The Bears offense has overwhelmingly dominated the first three practices of training camp, although the defense has had a few moments. On Friday, it was quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Tyson Bagent putting on a show for fans leading Chicago's explosive passing attack that's remained mostly unstoppable. According to Chris Kwiecinski, "Caleb Williams and Tyson Bagent stole the show. They were in command, deadly accurate and anticipated routes so well." Williams' connection with Colston Loveland and Rome Odunze thrived while Bagent developed a nice rapport with Jahdae Walker, per Michal Dwojak. Even after Williams threw his first interception of the summer to Jaylon Johnson during red zone work, he "regrouped and made positive plays after."
The Bears offense had another impressive showing, but their one flaw came during the first red zone period, which was dominated by the defense. According to Courtney Cronin, both Montez Sweat and Austin Booker had sacks on back-to-back plays. Williams was picked off by cornerback Jaylon Johnson during a 7-on-7 red-zone drill, but he was able to bounce back later. Mark Carman noted that there was "some sloppiness in the red zone" where "Caleb showed some frustration and leadership." But the offense closed things out on a strong note with a successful two-minute drill, where there was 1:37 left, two timeouts, on own 39 with game tied at 10-10, per Adam Jahns. They went sox plays before Williams connected with Loveland for a 14-yard touchdown. But the best part according to Jahns? "Williams and Bears offense overcame a sack halfway through the drill. Williams-Loveland connection came through."

The Yankees (61-46) look to make it three straight over the White Sox (55-51) tonight at Rate Field following last night's 3-2 win.
Last night was a tightly contested pitching duel that saw the Yankees build an early lead and then survive a late White Sox rally. New York scored all three of its runs in the second inning against White Sox starter Anthony Kay. The rally began when Jasson Domínguez singled and Trent Grisham followed with a hit. Anthony Volpe then drilled an RBI double to deep center field, scoring Domínguez. Two batters later, Max Schuemann delivered the biggest hit of the game, a two-run double that plated both Grisham and Volpe for a 3-0 Yankees lead. The story for most of the evening, though, was Gerrit Cole, who looked dominant in his sixth start since returning from Tommy John surgery. Cole worked six scoreless innings, allowing just four hits while striking out seven and walking two. Chicago struggled to generate offense until the ninth inning. Yankees closer David Bednar entered looking for his 22nd save, but Braden Montgomery singled and Chase Meidroth followed with a dramatic two-run homer to left field, trimming the deficit to 3-2. Bednar regrouped, however, striking out former Yankee Everson Pereira to end the game and secure the save.
The Yankees have now won five of their last six games and are within 1½ games of first-place Tampa Bay in the AL East, while the White Sox remain atop the AL Central despite dropping four of their last five.
It seemed like the Sox were facing the ace of the Yankees' staff last night but tonight Chicago must face New York's current ace, Cam Schlittler (10-6, 2-07 ERA). His most recent start came on July 24 against the Phillies. He threw 7.1 shutout innings allowing just three hits while striking out 12. The White Sox will send Davis Martin (9-5, 3.49 ERA) to the **** p. The right-hander has had a breakthrough season but has been inconsistent of late allowing 12 earned runs over his last 18 innings.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Tomoyuki Sugano picked up his 10th win and Kyle Karros and TJ Rumfield each had two hits as the Colorado Rockies capitalized on a fast start to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-2 on Friday.
Sugano (10-4) struck out five over 5 1/3 innings and allowed two runs on a pair of homers — Christian Yelich's 413-foot leadoff drive in the first inning and Brice Turang's 434-foot blast in the sixth. Sugano was making his second start since coming off the injured list after missing three weeks due to back spasms.
Milwaukee brought the tying run to the plate after Andrew Vaughn and Jake Bauers started the ninth inning with consecutive singles. Jordan Romano regrouped from there by getting Joey Ortiz to pop up, striking out Gary Sánchez struck out and retiring Yelich on a fly to right.
Romano picked up his eighth save in 10 opportunities.
Although the Rockies (42-63) have the National League's worst record, they're just one win away from matching their total from a year ago, when they finished 43-119.

The Owensboro Catholic Aces bounced back from a setback earlier in the week to capture a 53-31 win over Dugan Best in the 7th-8th grade division of the 53rd Annual Dust Bowl Basketball Tournament on a picturesque Thursday evening at Kendall-Perkins Park.
After suffering a loss Monday night, the Aces quickly regrouped to get back on the right track.
“It’s been interesting, because we lost to a very good team,” said Aces coach Drew Cooper, also the Kentucky Wesleyan College men’s basketball head coach. “I thought it was rising seventh- and eighth-graders, but it’s actually rising eighth- and ninth-graders. So we were able to add some age and some size with some 2030 guys.
“We’ve had a good night these last three nights. We’ll play a very good team tomorrow, and we’ll see if we can get to the championship game.”
Owen Cooper powered the Aces with a game-high 17 points, Kellan Atwell added 12 points, and Cal Murphy chipped in 11 points.

Shane Lowry always seems at home at The Open Championship.
He won the Claret Jug in 2019, his sole major championship win, and Lowry is a fan favourite whenever he steps on the UK links courses.
Lowry is entering this year’s Open hoping to recapture some of his past form. It’s been a difficult season for the Irishman ever since he threw away his three-shot lead on the final three holes of the Cognizant Classic.
He hasn’t finished in the top 20 since then, so he needs every edge he can get at Royal Birkdale if he wants to get in the mix. And according to Sir Nick Faldo, he already has an advantage over most of the field before he even hits a ball.
Lowry has been grouped with two major champions for his first two rounds of The Open. Five-time major winner Brooks Koepka and this year’s PGA Championship winner Aaron Rai will tee off with Lowry at Birkdale.

Penn State has developed some of the best defensive players in college and the NFL in recent years, like Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons and Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. While the school has shown a prowess on that side of the ball, they surprisingly haven’t molded many elite pass rushers.
There are a few to be excited about on the Nittany Lions’ current roster, namely defensive end Max Granville, but the team is looking for another contributor with a ton of potential. Hayes Fawcett of Rivals announced earlier today that the team is a finalist for four-star edge rusher George Parkinson IV.
The massive defensive lineman has Penn State grouped with five other teams, including a pair of Big Ten rivals in Oregon and Ohio State. They’ll also be battling the LSU Tigers for the four-star recruit, but it should bode well for the Nittany Lions that he is a Pennsylvania native.
Typically, that can push a school over the edge, but it should be noted that Penn State has had some difficulty bringing in recruits from its state and the surrounding areas. Just last month they lost a three-star cornerback in Zachary Gleason Jr., who is from Pittsburgh, so they shouldn’t get ahead of themselves in the race for Parkinson IV.
Penn State already has a couple four-star prospects who have committed from the Class of 2028. Earning a commitment from Parkinson IV would further elevate a class that is already near the top of the national rankings.

Palm Valley Capital Management, an investment management firm, has issued the second-quarter 2026 investor letter for the "Palm Valley Capital Fund." A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. In the second quarter, the fund's investor class gained 1.80%, while the S&P SmallCap 600 rose 19.7% and the Morningstar Small Cap Total Return Index returned 14.0%. The Strategy primarily focused on small-cap categories, allocating 75% to cash equivalents. This led to underperformance relative to benchmarks. The Fund is currently seeking more small-cap opportunities that meet its return criteria and will act swiftly if market conditions improve. The Index benefited from strong contributions from data center construction and biotech sectors, while the energy industry lagged. Additionally, reviewing the fund's top five holdings can reveal its best investments in 2026.

Headquartered in Saint Louis, Missouri, Amdocs Limited (NASDAQ:DOX) is a leading telecommunications technology company that provides software and services to communications, entertainment, media, and other service providers. On July 7, 2026, Amdocs Limited (NASDAQ:DOX) closed at $52.29 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $5.55 billion. Amdocs Limited (NASDAQ:DOX) posted a one-month return of -8.21%, while its shares lost 42.90% over the past 52 weeks.
Palm Valley Capital Management stated the following regarding Amdocs Limited (NASDAQ:DOX) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"The stocks most negatively affecting the Fund's second quarter return were Amdocs Limited (NASDAQ:DOX), LKQ (ticker: LKQ), and Chord Energy (ticker: CHRD). Amdocs was a top decliner for the second consecutive quarter, since it has been treated as a casualty of artificial intelligence. Amdocs has a hybrid model anchored by managed services (two-thirds of revenue) and systems integration/custom software (one third). It operates the core billing, rating, and customer care engines of telecommunications giants, which are insulated from quick displacement because ripping them out introduces severe operational risk to a carrier. While Amdocs' stock has been grouped with IT consultants with large offshore employee bases like Accenture and Infosys, pure consultancies typically bill on a time and materials model (i.e., headcount). Amdocs, in contrast, wraps its services around its own IP and offers long-term managed services arrangements where it ***** umes end-to-end operational accountability. Coming into this World Cup, Canada’s hopes hinged on the form of their one world-class player, Alphonso Davies. This has been the case for every major competition they have entered since he made his international debut in 2017, and it’s easy to see why: over the last nine years, Davies has transformed Canada’s fortunes.
After being grouped in each of the first three Gold Cups in the 2010s, Canada have reached the quarter-final or further in five consecutive installments. The Bayern Munich star was also at the fore as they qualified for the 2022 World Cup, the first time they reached men’s football’s biggest stage since 1986. And their fourth-place finish at the 2024 Copa América involved a fit and firing Davies.

It’s a team sport, but when a roster has one indisputable star, its hopes are often inextricably tied to that player. That was bad news for Canada at this World Cup. Davies missed all three of Canada’s group games as he recovered from an injury he suffered in May. Finally, in the last-32, Davies came off the bench for 15 minutes and helped inspire Canada to victory over South Africa. Surely, it seemed, the Bayern star would take on a similar role on Saturday.
As Canada chased an equalizer against Morocco, though, fans were left wondering when Davies would come off the bench to jolt his team back to life. Marsch never brought on Davies. Canada ended up losing the match 3-0, ending their World Cup hopes.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates began their campaign with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against DR Congo, showing early signs of vulnerability. However, they responded in their second match, dismantling Uzbekistan with a commanding 5-1 victory. The group stage concluded with a tense, goalless draw against Colombia, which saw Portugal narrowly miss out on first place and set up this round-of-32 fixture.
Croatia, captained by Luka Modric, mirrored Portugal's path by finishing second in Group L, just behind England. Their tournament began with a 4-2 defeat to the English. Croatia regrouped and edged out Panama 1-0 in a gritty contest, before sealing qualification with a 2-1 win over Ghana.

Serena Williams walked out onto Wimbledon's Centre Court, closed her eyes, took a deep breath and smiled at the ovation that greeted her.
Williams has consistently said she has nothing left to prove as she resumes the tennis career from which she evolved away in 2022.
But no-one was sure what to expect on Tuesday evening when she faced Australia's Maya Joint in what was the 44-year-old's first singles match in four years.
There would have been a moment of relief for Williams when she won her first point at SW19 for 1,462 days - a forced error from Joint in response to a huge return of serve from the American.
The match ended in a 6-3 6-7 (6-8) 6-3 win for Joint, who started strongly, weathered a second-set dip, and regrouped impressively from a break down in the third.

German national team attacker Deniz Undav was shooting straight after his team's 2-1 loss to the Ecuador and did not think that Germany matched the intensity and focus of the South Americans.
"Ecuador were more aggressive and sharper than we were. That's something we need to learn from and draw the right conclusions. We weren't as direct in our play and we didn't create as many chances. We have to perform better and improve. But there's no time to dwell on it – we're back in action on Monday already," Undav said (as captured by iMiaSanMia).
Undav is not wrong, but even his honest ******* sment will not change some of the issues plaguing the Germans at the World Cup. In reality, being grouped with Curaçao, Ivory Coast, and Ecuador (Thursday's result notwithstanding) was a gift. The Germans were superior to each team on paper.
However, games are not always determined by whose resume looks better. From here on out, the Germans need to be a lot better.

Wyndham Clark will start the final day at the top of the 2026 U.S. Open leaderboard on Sunday, June 21.
Clark produced a commanding lead, finishing at 7-under par for the day at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.
Scottie Scheffler, Sahith Theegala, Tom Kim and Sam Stevens are all grouped up at -1 for second behind Clark. Scheffler made the most significant jump on Day 3, moving up nine spots on the day.
Theegala moved up the board five spots. Kim and Stevens managed to hold their position throughout the day.
Xander Schauffele finished at even par for the third day of the tournament and slid down four spots on the leaderboard, joining Emiliano Grillo, Keith Mitchell and Sam Burns in the group tied for sixth place.

By the end of Wednes, all 48 teams will have played a game at this World Cup — and the second set of group games will begin on Thursday.
The stakes are elevated now, as many teams can advance or be eliminated based on the results of these second group games. Given the expanded format with eight of 12 third-place teams advancing, guessing how teams will approach these second games is a bit of a challenge.
Teams might press more for a win, knowing that six points definitively puts them in the knockout stage, and four points is more than likely enough. Or teams might batten down the proverbial hatches even more, thinking that a point or two through two games puts them in position to advance with a point or three in the group finale.
Making my best guesses on how teams will approach these games, here are my best bets for the second group games (grouped by day):
