The younger Parton, 77, took time from her morning "coffee hour" Friday, Sept. 4, to express how such online negativity has taken an emotional toll on her family as they continue grieving the "I Will Always Love You" singer, who died Aug. 25 at age 80.
In a two-slide statement on Instagram, Stella Parton first thanked the "genuine" supporters who have been kind and respectful during the Parton family's bereavement, then addressed the bad-faith social media users who have been anything but considerate.
"Sadly, because of the way our lives have been lived in front of the public, we have no choice but to be subjected to incredible pressure and insensitivity from strangers," she wrote. A week after Dolly Parton died following a brief battle with cancer, the Friends actress shared the incomparable advice she received from the "dear friend of all of ours," who she worked with on the 2018 movie Dumplin'.
"One of her many, many, many, many incredible quotes, and they're endless," Jennifer said during an event at the 92nd Street Y in New York City Sept. 2, according to Us Weekly, "she would say, 'I chased a few rainbows and I caught some.'"
So, the 57-year-old repeated the advice, telling the audience, "Go chase your dreams and go catch some rainbows. You'll catch a few. [Dolly] did that, for sure."

MOSCOW, Aug 31 (Reuters) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday that the war in Ukraine needed ‌to end for humanity's sake and that New Delhi would support ‌every peace effort to stop the fighting.
Modi, who made his comments at the start of talks with Putin in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek, called Putin "my friend" and hailed growing economic ties between the two countries which he said were guided by the need to put the interests of both nations above all else.
India, along with ‌China, is one of ⁠the biggest buyers of Russian oil, which has helped Moscow replenish its budget since it sent tens of thousands of ⁠troops into Ukraine in 2022 and was hit with sweeping Western sanctions.
"As you are aware, India supports all peace efforts in this regard, and we shall continue to do so in the future," Modi told Putin on the sidelines of the ‌Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, according to a Kremlin transcript of their exchange.
"Every day that the war continues, humanity is, in effect, set back a step, whilst every step towards peace gives all of humanity real hope for peace. We need to move from endless war to an end to the ‌war, to a cessation of hostilities. And we will need to move precisely in this direction," said Modi who has said before that he wants a peace settlement for Ukraine.

Before even coaching a game, he has managed to convince UCLA's administration, its boosters and most importantly its players that he can do the exact same thing on the West Coast.

PFL lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov hasn't entered the UFC yet, but he's already talking trash about the quality of opposition he may face when he gets there.
Nurmagomedov fought the last fight on his PFL contract last month, and recently revealed he turned down a $2 million per fight offer from the organization in order to wait out the 90 day exclusive negotiation period and see what other promotions might offer him. Promotions like the UFC, where he could finally get his due as one of the best lightweights in the world.
In an interview with Sport24, Usman pushed back on the idea that the top fighters are all in the UFC.
"They say if you don't fight in the UFC, it's not the same level. I disagree with this," he said. JJ Bleday leaned out and turned on a Zack Littell meatball in the Top of the 6th inning of Saturday night's game between the Cincinnati Reds and Arizona Diamondbacks down in the Land of the Endless Strip Mall, and the laser flew over the fence in right field at Chase Field for a homer.
That's cool in a nutshell. What made it even more special, though, is that the Cincinnati outfielder had already picked up a single, double, and triple on the evening, and this homer game him the cycle.
The cycle – just the 8th in the long, storied history of the Cincinnati Reds – was a marked change from where Bleday's form has been so far in August. Despite scorching the earth with his play in May after being recalled from AAA Louisville, he's fallen into something of a three true outcomes slugger ever since, with the hits and homers being much fewer and more far between.
Not so on Saturday, though.
Bleday's homer played pile-on for the Reds, who held an 8-2 lead at the time. Each of JJ, Elly De La Cruz, and Sal Stewart had been electric at the plate so far on the day, and that's pretty much the lone recipe for the Reds having success on any given night.

Solange Knowles has paid a heartfelt tribute to her former co-star, Hayden Panettiere.
On Sunday, the Heroes actress was found unresponsive at an apartment in Greenville, South Carolina and was ****** ounced dead at the scene. She was 36.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Solange posted a snap of herself and Hayden on the set of their 2006 teen comedy, Bring It On: All or Nothing, in which they played high school cheerleaders.

Arman Tsarukyan has his Octagon return set in stone. Instead of the long-awaited and endlessly evasive UFC ******* le shot he continues to pursue, the top-ranked lightweight will collide with rising contender Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331 on Sept. 19 in Los Angeles.
Outside of MMA, Tsarukyan has been on every kind of side quest imaginable in 2026. He hasn't fought since a second-round submission of Dan Hooker in November. Over that time, Tsaurkyan, 29, has gone 7-1 in wrestling matches with Real American Freestyle (RAF) and racked up a 3-0-1 record in submission grappling matches.
Tsarukyan revealed on Monday's "The Ariel Helwani Show" that a rematch against Charles Oliveira was originally on tap for his UFC return bout.
"I was supposed to fight with Charles, co-main event, five rounds," Tsarukyan said. "Then I went for my training camp, and they, in two weeks, when I was in the mountains, called me and said, 'We got a new name for you. It's Ruffy.' I said, 'OK. No problem.'

For almost two decades, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been soccer's ultimate business proposition: Two extraordinary athletes, two competing brands and one endless argument over who was better.
This summer's World Cup was supposed to be their final shared stage. The idea that either could survive another four-year cycle (Messi is 39 and Ronaldo 41) and play at the 2030 World Cup seemed implausible. That both might do so was nearly unthinkable.

That appears to be happening with Netflix of late, as on Thursday, it was trading at around $77 -- which is 18% higher than the low it reached in July.
