ASML Holding N.V. (NASDAQ:ASML) is examining ways to produce more than 110 EUV lithography systems in 2028, according to JPMorgan ***** ysts following a meeting with CFO Roger Dassen. The company is already nearly sold out for 2027 and expects to produce at least 80 EUV systems that year, meaning output above 110 in 2028 would represent at least a 37.5% increase from the 2027 level. JPMorgan said the main constraint has shifted toward ***** embly speed rather than the availability of critical components, suggesting ASML believes additional capacity can be unlocked through manufacturing and ***** embly improvements.
The potential increase is being driven primarily by AI-related demand. Jota's return from long-term injury will come too late for the winger to play in upcoming Europa League games after the Portuguese was left out of Celtic's squad along with three of their summer signings.
Joel van den Berg, the 19-year-old bought from PSV Eindhoven, and two on-loan Chelsea midfielders - forward Shim Mheuka and midfielder Landon Emenalo - also miss out after their arrivals this week.

The saga of not one, but TWO summers is finally at an end. Savinho has officially joined Tottenham Hotspur!
We are delighted to announce the signing of Sávio from Manchester City ✍️
The Brazilian winger, who will wear #17 (which fits nicely with his move to N17), has transferred from Manchester City for a reported £75 million plus £10 million add-ons. It's a hefty fee for a promising talent, but one that is supposedly offset by some transfer shenanigans around a double signing from City, with Omar Marmoush the second player reportedly joining for a lower fee to offset a sell-on clause inserted by Eintracht Frankfurt in his shift to City.
It's a big signing for Spurs. The Lilywhites have been in desperate need of quality in attack, and have arguably over-invested in late-peak players this summer who are unlikely to develop further. Savinho, or Savio, is somebody who is still early in his career and will have the ability to grow and develop in the coming seasons… at least that's the hope. And he's already a pretty decent player!

Joey Veerman was born on November 19, 1998, in Purmerend in the Dutch province of North Holland. He completed nearly his entire soccer training at FC Volendam, where he also made his professional debut at the age of 17. It became clear early on that the midfielder had something special. In his first three years, he quickly established himself as a regular starter at Volendam and tallied 22 points in 81 competitive matches.
In 2019, Veerman left his hometown club and the team where he had developed his skills, making the move to SC Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie. There, he established himself as the playmaker in central midfield. In his first season at Heerenveen, he recorded nine direct goal contributions in the Netherlands' top division; the following season, that number had already risen to 17.
In January 2022, he finally moved on to top-tier club PSV Eindhoven, where Joey Veerman would go on to make his breakthrough on the international stage as well. Roger Schmidt, PSV's head coach at the time, spoke highly of Veerman: "He always has good ideas, makes good decisions under pressure, and always looks ahead."
In Eindhoven, too, it didn't take Veerman long to establish himself. His ability to accelerate the play from deep, outwit opposing defenses with precise passes, and set up attacks with a single touch was a perfect fit for Eindhoven's dominant style of soccer. Under former BVB coach Peter Bosz, at the latest, he became a true game-changer at PSV.
In February and March 2024, Veerman took the field twice with PSV against Borussia Dortmund when the two teams faced off in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. In total, Veerman has played 44 times in European competition so far.

Former Germany international Philipp Max has announced his retirement from professional football, bringing an end to a career that included 180 Bundesliga appearances, spells in the Netherlands, Greece and ***** an, and three senior caps for his country. Max confirmed the decision in an emotional Instagram post on Sunday. The former Schalke, Augsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt defender had been without a club since leaving ***** anese side Gamba Osaka earlier this year.
"A chapter is coming to an end," Max wrote. "I'm obviously sad that you leave behind something you lived for and worked towards your entire life. I came to the conclusion relatively quickly that the best thing is to hang up my boots now."
Max made his Bundesliga debut with Schalke during the 2013/14 campaign before eventually establishing himself at Augsburg. It was in Bavaria that the left-back became a recognizable Bundesliga figure. Max made 145 top-flight appearances for FCA and developed a reputation as an unusually attack-minded defender, capable of advancing aggressively down the flank and contributing through crosses, set pieces and direct involvement in the final third.
His importance to Augsburg became particularly obvious when he departed for PSV Eindhoven in 2020. Max had developed into such an important part of the club's attacking structure that his exit represented a major tactical loss ahead of the new Bundesliga campaign. The move abroad also coincided with the high point of his international career.

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl is close to extending his contract at the club, according to Sport Bild. The 52-year-old was informed of the news during the club's Asia tour. Former Netherlands midfielder Mark van Bommel is set to become Belgium coach, according to a media report.
The 49-year-old is expected to sign a contract with the Red Devils until Euro 2028, Belgian newspaper Nieuwsblad reported on Wednesday.
Van Bommel, a World Cup runner-up with the Dutch in 2010, played for Fortuna Sittard, PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and AC Milan.
As a coach, he took charge of PSV, VfL Wolfsburg and Royal Antwerp, where he won the Belgian double. Van Bommel has been without a club since 2024.

During the World Cup, Bayern Munich managed to sign two promising players who performed well at the tournament: Moroccan Swiss army knife Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven and German rising star Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt. Morocco hope attacker Ismael Saibari will be fit for their World Cup quarter-final with France on Thursday, Moroccan media reported.
The new Bayern Munich player had to be substituted after 22 minutes in Morocco's 3-0 World Cup last-16 win over Canada on Saturday.
Moroccan outlet Almountakhab reported on Wednesday that Saibari has a minor muscle strain. A decision on whether he will play is to be made at short notice in consultation with doctors.

West Ham United have appointed Nils Koppen as their new director of player recruitment.
Koppen will leave his role as technical director at FC Copenhagen to join the Championship club, subject to a work visa being acquired.
The 41-year-old Belgian has previously worked for Rangers and PSV Eindhoven and will work alongside a new football leadership structure.
"I am really pleased to have this fantastic opportunity and very much looking forward to joining such a big club and being a part of something new," he told the club's website.
"I'm also looking forward to working with Nuno [Espirito Santo] - he is a very experienced and highly respected head coach."

Twice in the second half in Foxborough, Steve Clarke's men were denied penalties that looked very strong claims. The Uzbek referee Ilgiz Tantashev and his VAR team saw no reason for further action for the contact in question – first with John McGinn and later Scott McTominay when it was all on the line for Scotland.
Both times it was the Roma midfielder Neil El Aynaoui who was in the frame. The son of the former Moroccan tennis pro Younes, he had a fine game but he certainly rode his luck. At the beginning of the first half El Aynaoui leaned across McGinn in the right channel of the Morocco area and sent the Scotland No 7 off balance. Later El Aynaoui would appear to catch the toe of McTominay – subtle but telling as the Scot slipped into the area.

In a recent post on X, journalist Philip Hinze mentioned that Sunderland are back in the race to sign Red Bull Leipzig full-back Lutsharel Geertruida permanently this summer. It has been stated that the Black Cats would have to compete with other clubs from the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga in pursuit of the Dutch defender in this transfer window.
The 25-year-old had a good loan spell at the Wearside club last season when he put in a handful of solid displays for them in the Premier League. Geetruida played in 31 matches for Sunderland in the previous campaign but failed to score or create a goal for them in various competitions.

The 25-year-old had a good loan spell at the Wearside club last season when he put in a handful of solid displays for them in the Premier League. Geetruida played in 31 matches for Sunderland in the previous campaign but failed to score or create a goal for them in various competitions.
The Dutch sensation is currently among the most talented right-backs in his homeland. Therefore, Sunderland would do well to lure him to the Stadium of Light later this year.
His current contract with RB Leipzig will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for the Black Cats to land him on a cut-price deal in this transfer period.
