Morocco hope attacker Ismael Saibari will be fit for their World Cup quarter-final with France on Thursday, Moroccan media reported.
The new Bayern Munich player had to be substituted after 22 minutes in Morocco's 3-0 World Cup last-16 win over Canada on Saturday.
Moroccan outlet Almountakhab reported on Wednesday that Saibari has a minor muscle strain. A decision on whether he will play is to be made at short notice in consultation with doctors.
Saibari, who joined Bayern from PSV Eindhoven during the World Cup, has produced a string of strong performances at the tournament and scored three goals.
