Etsy Inc (NASDAQ:ETSY) stock is down 2.6% to trade at $70.20 today amid broader market pressure, though Argus reiterated its "buy" rating and lifted its price target to $89 from $67. The $70 level has served as both support and resistance in recent months and could provide a potential pivot point for the shares. What's more, the e-commerce name is now within striking distance of a historically bullish trendline.
According to Schaeffer's Senior Quantitative ***** yst Rocky White, Etsy stock is trading within 0.75 times the 100-day moving averages' 20-day average true range (ATR), after spending at least 80% of the previous two weeks and 80% of the prior 42 trading sessions above that trendline. This setup has appeared 13 other times over the last decade, after which the stock was higher one month later 77% of the time, averaging a 10.3% gain.
Short interest represents 10.8% of the stock's available float, and would take shorts over three days to cover at the stock's average pace of trading. A move higher could pressure some of these bearish bettors to exit their positions, creating additional buying power.
Now also looks like a good time to weigh in on ETSY's next move with options. The stock's Schaeffer's Volatility Index (SVI) of 49% sits in the low 10th percentile of its annual range, suggesting options traders are pricing in relatively low volatility expectations at the moment.

On August 11, Kristina Ruggeri from Argus upgraded The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) from Hold to Buy, based on the company's long-term prospects within the expanding commercial aerospace segment. The ****** yst expects the company's impressive backlog, topline growth and margins to continue expanding after the management made progress in addressing concerns linked with production and profitability. Ruggeri's price target of $265 results in more than 26% upside potential as of August 28 closing. Let's explore the underlying business fundamentals that support this rating upgrade.
Recent financials clearly back the rating upgrade by Argus, as the company reported $24.6 billion in Q2 2026 revenue compared to $22.7 billion during Q2 2025. The 8% topline expansion primarily reflected 171 commercial deliveries during the quarter. Despite a core loss of ($0.76) per share, the company's cash flows turned positive amid improved working capital. In the second quarter, it posted $1.4 billion in operating cash flow and $631 million in free cash flow. Management reiterated its optimistic FCF projections, with a full-year guidance between $1 billion and $3 billion, depending partly on delivery volumes and timing of customer receipts.
The company's demand backlog further strengthens the bullish narrative, as it reported $715 billion in total backlog by the end of second quarter. This included a backlog of $597 billion for commercial airplanes segment, involving more than 6,200 aircraft. It is composed of thousands of orders for 737 MAX, along with elevated demand across its wide-body segment covering 767, 777, and 787 programs. Backlogs for Defense, ****** e & Security, and Global Services segments stood at $85 billion and $33 billion, respectively.
Company President and CEO, Kelly Ortberg, reflected on the remainder of the year, stating:
"While there is more work ahead in the second half of the year, the momentum we are building continues to move Boeing in the right direction."

India raised its purchases of Russia's Far East crude blend ESPO in the first seven months of the year as China backed out of the spot market in the first months of the Iran war and deliveries to India from the Middle East slumped with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
Total exports of the ESPO grade from Russia's Far Eastern port of Kozmino rose by 6% in January-July from a year earlier, Russian daily Kommersant reported on Wednesday, citing a report by Argus.
China remained the key buyer of ESPO crude, but its share of the shipments from Kozmino fell to 83% from 88%. At the same time, India's share of the ESPO exports increased to 16% to 12% in the first seven months of 2026, per data from Vortexa and Kpler cited in the report.
India raised its ESPO imports due to the slump in Chinese oil imports between May and June, and the supply disruptions in the Middle East, which delayed many term cargoes Indian refiners were expecting in the early summer.
The rise in Indian ESPO imports are due to logistics reasons and the Chinese pullback between April and June, according to Dmitry Prokofiev, director of external communications at NEFT Research.

Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) reported robust Q2 results recently, driven by strong demand for AI tools such as Agentforce. The company reported revenues of $11.35 billion, beating the expected figure of $11.32 billion. Earnings per share were $5.90 adjusted compared to expectations of $3.27.
Wall Street firm Argus responded by raising the price target on Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) to $300.00 (from $290.00) and maintaining a Buy rating. According to the firm, Salesforce has raised its guidance for the second time, and management now expects revenue growth to accelerate in the second half of 2027. This, however, is a promise that Salesforce has to keep, not one that it has already delivered on.
The bull case for Salesforce post earnings is pretty straightforward: robust cRPO growth, accelerating AI adoption, impressive cash generation and raised revenue guidance.
In particular, current remaining performance obligations (cRPO) growth of 14% serves as a critical growth metric for the company, supporting the case for revenue acceleration in the second half of 2027. This, coupled with a revenue guidance raised for the second time, gives investors and ****** ysts' visibility that wasn't available a few quarters ago.
Salesforce's newly formed Anthropic partnership also adds to the bull case. The company saw a $2.6 billion gain on strategic investments due to its increasingly valuable stake in the AI startup.

"We think CareCloud, Inc. (NASDAQ:CCLD) is undervalued. But we found companies that are more undervalued. So we sold most of our CareCloud shares to buy them. CareCloud's value mainly depends on how many customers it keeps, and how AI will impact their profits. How much revenue did CareCloud keep from last year? CareCloud bought 4 companies in 2025, after Q1. Including their revenue in Q1 2025, Q1 2026 revenue was 15% lower.
Reported TEBS revenue rose 30%. But without acquisitions it fell 5.6%. This is within CareCloud's normal 4% to 6% 'structural churn'. Meaning: doctors retiring, practices closing, or hospitals taking over practices and moving billing elsewhere..." (Click here to read the full text)

Argus downgraded DKNG from Buy to Hold as shares sit 43% below their 52-week high amid rising costs and state tax uncertainty.
DraftKings' investment in its federally regulated predictions platform will add tens of millions in costs while 2026 guidance ******* umes stable state tax rates.
Act now: the ******* yst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and DraftKings didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.
DraftKings (NASDAQ:DKNG) has had a rough stretch in 2026. Shares are down 26.61% year to date as of Friday's close and 43.22% over the past year, trading at $26.17 against a 52-week high of $48.78. Now, Argus has formalized what the price action has been signaling, cutting the stock to Hold from Buy and removing its price target.
Argus cited high customer acquisition costs, rising state gaming taxes and aggressive competition from prediction markets as the primary drivers of the downgrade. The firm also flagged that DraftKings has been losing market share in U.S. Internet gaming, and cut its estimates accordingly.

On August 7, Airbnb, Inc. (NASDAQ:ABNB) shares surged to a more than four-year high after the company raised its full-year revenue forecast. The firm gave artificial intelligence credit for cutting costs and speeding up how fast it ships new features.
Its competitor Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:BKNG) had a rougher time delivering good news: On August 4, the firm beat second-quarter estimates but trimmed its full-year gross bookings forecast. It blamed ongoing fallout from the Middle East conflict on international travel.
Airbnb now expects 2026 revenue to grow at least a mid-teens percentage, up from its earlier low- to mid-teens call, after posting second-quarter revenue of $3.61 billion, up 17% and ahead of the $3.57 billion Wall Street wanted. CEO Brian Chesky didn't hold back, calling AI the best thing to ever happen to Airbnb and pointing to a 16% drop in customer support costs per booking as proof.
Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:BKNG) made a similar case for its own AI investments. CFO Ewout Steenbergen said the company is already seeing a positive return. Argus Research backed that up by raising its price target to $245 from $210 on August 10. Yet Booking still cut its full-year bookings outlook to high-single-digit growth from a prior high-single- to low-double-digit range. The firm warned that reduced Middle East travel and pricier airfares will stick around through the third quarter.
If AI is paying off at both companies, why did only one of them feel good enough to raise its outlook?

Aug. 2—Brad Chandler has earned a few headlines in recent weeks as the new athletic director at Wright State.
Twenty-two years ago, the Livingston County Daily Press and Argus in Howell, Michigan, gave him attention for a different reason.
"Howell's scouting report had every indication that Novi's Brad Chandler was a good player," sports writer Andy Karl wrote in February 2004, "but the Highlanders didn't know about his shooting ability until Friday night.
"'He is one of the better guards in the league, and he was always in our scouting reports that he could drive well," Howell senior Eddie Chodkowski said. "He never showed that he can shoot in the games that we watched.' "
"Chandler sunk five 3-pointers en route to a 21-point effort, as Novi edged Howell in the closing seconds, 42-39."
