As the Kansas City Chiefs prepared to play their first game of the 2026 NFL season, a firefighter was given a big reward for his everyday contribution to society.
The Kansas City Chiefs were preparing for their game against the Denver Broncos, with ESPN's crew at Arrowhead Stadium for their show.
Called down to be on the show was Lee's Summit, Missouri's firefighter Adam Greeno.
He was awarded Firefighter of the Year for his work, and to reward his brilliance ahead of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, he was given two tickets to the opening game against the Broncos, by two former Chiefs players, Keith Cash and Bill Mass.
However, when he got to the game, Greeno was given an even bigger surprise.
