WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — At the end of the 2025 season, New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton told media that he hoped the team would hire a Coughlin-esque head coach. The Giants, of course, hired John Harbaugh, an old-school coach with a Super Bowl **** le and an 18-year track record filled with success.
So, did Slayton get what he wanted?
"I would say so," Slayton told **** embled media at The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center on Friday. "Yeah, absolutely. I feel like he's in that echelon, that ilk. He obviously came from arguably one of the most old-school divisions in football of the Ravens and the Steelers. I definitely think he's what we needed. There's definitely been a sense of accountability off the rip, which has been huge for us. I'm definitely glad Coach Harbaugh's here."
Slayton did not want to give specific examples of Harbaugh holding anyone accountable. That was a veteran move, smartly not throwing any teammates under the bus. He spoke in general terms.

Vinted, one of Europe's largest marketplaces for buying and selling pre-owned items between private individuals, will direct customers in Germany to ship or exchange goods through DHL Group's (XETRA: DHL) network of parcel lockers and digital kiosks, under a new strategic partnership aimed at making peer-to-peer purchases as convenient as ones through online retailers.
Private-party sales of used items through online marketplaces have become very popular in Germany. According to the latest DHL E-Commerce Trends Report, 67% of online shoppers in the country have already sold items via a digital platform.
Vinted and DHL announced Wednesday they are working together to expand and simplify the shipping and collection of Vinted parcels through DHL's network of Packstations (automated, self-service locker systems that allows users to send, receive and drop-off parcels around the clock), Poststations (digital Deutsche Post retail outlets where users can take care of postal business) and DeinFach lockers (a carrier neutral parcel locker network).

Revenue is still expected to be near the low end of its $11-12.5 billion guidance range, below the roughly $11.67 billion ****** yst consensus, though shares rose as much as 20% on the news, with margin and order data clearly outweighing the top-line miss for investors focused on where the business is going.
For the broader technology ecosystem, Super Micro Computer Inc. (NASDAQ:SMCI)'s order increase is an important indicator of downstream artificial intelligence hardware demand. Since Super Micro Computer Inc. WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's new initiative to test and treat troops for low testosterone has prompted a federal judge to question the differences between that kind of testosterone replacement therapy and hormone treatment for transgender men in the military.
U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes in Washington raised the question Wednesday in an ongoing lawsuit against President Donald Trump's ban on transgender troops. Reyes noted that Trump's ban says "the Armed Forces must adhere to high mental and physical health standards ... without the benefit of routine medical treatment or special provisions."
Reyes ordered both parties in the lawsuit to address "the similarities and differences in administering TRT, both medically and logistically, for trans men compared to other service members, including cis individuals." She was using the acronym for testosterone replacement therapy.
The judge also requested information on the Pentagon's "basis for treating trans men and other service members differently between this new policy and the Military Ban."
Reyes' order comes a week after Hegseth announced that he is rolling out a new screening program for "testosterone deficiency" among troops, calling it necessary to allow them to operate at their "absolute best."

The 25-year-old Adams was arrested in connection with a Guns and Gangs investigation that resulted in four arrests. Adams and his sister, 27-year-old Allyson Adams, were arrested on the same four gun charges.
Two other individuals — Jaelin Gamble and Natasha Rotta — were arrested on charges of fentanyl possession and trafficking.
Adams reportedly already returned to Arizona following the arrest, per ESPN.

Cam Newton doesn't sound like a man nursing a grudge.
Hours after ESPN cut ties with him in the same round of layoffs that ended Ryan Clark's 11-year run at the network, the former Carolina Panthers quarterback framed his brief run at First Take as something closer to an internship than a second career.
"Working alongside some of the most talented journalists and sports individuals that cover sports was something that got me to realize I have a newfound respect for the skill," Newton said. "You can't make me hate ESPN. What I've learned, it was an internship. I am a former athlete that did not study journalism, so now when you see how production actually works, you'll be a fool not to take your notes."
Newton signed a multi-year deal with ESPN last August to expand his role on First Take, stepping into the seat vacated after Shannon Sharpe's departure amid a ***** ual ***** ault lawsuit and settlement. From there, Newton became a fixture alongside Stephen A. Smith through the football season, a run that included a manufactured feud with New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and widely criticized comments about women's value being tied to how many children they have. Criticism even came from colleagues within ESPN after he had Stephen A. Smith's arch-enemy, Jason Whitlock, on his podcast. In response, Smith stated that there were a number of reasons why Newton's First Take presence could be questioned, but that he was still supportive of his appearances on the program.
