Warren Zaire-Emery could be a good option for Bayern Munich, but the Bavarian giants currently have no room for him in their squad.
Bayern legend Willy Sagnol believes the German champions should target another French talent in the form of Zaire-Emery.
Bayern have a rich history of signing French players, including Franck Ribery, Bixente Lizarazu and Sagnol himself, while Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano are currently part of the club's squad.
After progressing through the youth ranks at PSG, Zaire-Emery has established himself as a key player under Luis Enrique.
The 20-year-old has already made 183 appearances for the French champions, scoring 11 goals, while also earning 13 caps for the France national team.

Relations between PSG and Real Madrid have turned sour in recent years, and the ongoing transfer window has only made matters worse.
The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga was the first to break bridges between the two clubs, and PSG even attempted to sign Vinicius Jr. at the time as revenge for Los Blancos signing their best player as a free agent.
This summer, the club went after PSG's top transfer target Yan Diomande after the French club reached an agreement with him, and stole him away in broad daylight. Furious at the development, the Parisiens contacted Real Madrid target Rodri hoping to steal him.
As reported by Diario AS now, PSG did indeed make a call to Rodri offering him a move to Paris this summer. They persuaded the player and attempted to convince him to put aside his dream of joining Real Madrid.

Despite some early woes in the transfer portal, Mark Pope managed to **** emble one of the best portal classes in the country. Along with key returners like Malachi Moreno and Kam Williams, Kentucky Basketball will now enter the 2026-27 season as a consensus top-25 team.
However, few, if any, college basketball rosters are without question marks, and Kentucky is no different.
So, what are some potential pitfalls with this group?
The easy one to point to is the injury bug, which has been problematic over the last two years and has already hit several players. Transfer center Franck Kepnang is being held out of summer workouts after missing the end of last season due to a knee issue.
Meanwhile, Kam Williams is out as he continues to rehab his surgically repaired foot and is not expected to practice this summer, despite having returned for the final five games last season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus are interested in USMNT striker Folarin Balogun and are preparing the first offer to sign Franck Kessié as a free agent.
Juventus have made just one summer signing so far, welcoming Italian winger Jeff Ekhator from Genoa, but new directors Giovanni Carnevali and Frederic Massara are working to give coach Luciano Spalletti more reinforcements.
According to Gazzetta, the Serie A giants are ready to send an offer to sign ex-Milan and Atalanta star Franck Kessié as a free agent.
The 29-year-old refused to sign a contract extension with Al-Ahli and is open to returning to Serie A, but his agent has demanded over €5m in signing bonus, Gazzetta claims.

Franck Kepnang was a bit of a surprise addition to the Kentucky Basketball roster from the transfer portal.
There had not been a lot of discussion about the 6'11 big man from Washington when Kepnang committed to Kentucky two months ago from today. Since his arrival in Lexington, Kepnang has had a lot of good things to say about Kentucky.
Kepnang took over the official Kentucky Instagram account yesterday as the team prepared to head to Las Vegas to answer fan questions, and one in particular stood out.
The question: "Why is Kentucky the greatest program in the country?"
Kepnang had a great response.

Juventus have reignited their interest in Tiago Gabriel , with the Bianconeri opening a fresh round of contacts as they weigh defensive reinforcements for Luciano Spalletti.
The Lecce centre-back is not, however, top of Juventus' priority list, according to the reports from CalcioMercato .
The club's most pressing needs are a goalkeeper, with Michele Di Gregorio on his way out and ongoing talks with Aston Villa over Emiliano Martínez , and a striker, where efforts are focused on agreeing a deal with PSG for Randal Kolo Muani .
A central midfielder is also sought, with Franck Kessié continuing to offer himself, alongside a defender, particularly given possible exits in that area, with Federico Gatti 's future one to watch.

Speaking ahead of the return for pre-season, FC Nantes CEO and son of owner Waldemar Kita, Franck, had addressed Les Canaris’ catastrophic 2025/26 campaign, which ended with relegation to Ligue 2.
“When we win, it’s thanks to everyone; when we lose, I take full responsibility. I am the boss, I am the owner of the club, I am the one to blame, first and foremost. I am the only one to blame. I take full responsibility for us coming off the road, this relegation, which I ****** ume entirely,” he began.
His comments were the first made since the club’s relegation to Ligue 2. As is often the case, there was no post-season review with the media. Nantes’ final game of the season, meanwhile, was abandoned in the first half after angry fans stormed the pitch.
Kita was also there to present Nantes’ new manager, Michel Der Zakarian. The club burned through three managers last season, ending the campaign with Vahid Halilhodzic at the helm. Kita said that the degree of change last summer played a big part in the club’s failure.
“It’s true that I like it when there is a bit of stability and the fact that we radically changed things: new players, new coaches, disturbed people’s reference points. We didn’t put anyone in good conditions, in the right context and so, for me, that is why we were relegated.”

It was heartbreak in stoppage time as Côte d'Ivoire were defeated 2-1 by Germany at Toronto's BMO Field. The Inter striker was part of coach Emerse Faé's starting XI before being replaced by Evann Guessand.
Deniz Undav's brace decided a tightly contested match, which saw both sides creating plenty of chances. The Ivorians took the lead in the 30th minute thanks to Franck Kessié's close-range finish, but the game changed once the striker from Stuttgart came on at the hour mark. Undav equalised in the 68th minute with a volley from a spectacular cross from Nadiem Amiri, before securing victory for Germany in the 94th minute. Set up by Felix Nmecha, Undav controlled the ball inside the box, turned, and beat Yahia Fofana.
Germany now have six points and sit at the top of Group E, while Côte d'Ivoire are in second on three points ahead of Ecuador.
The Netherlands recorded a huge victory, dominating Sweden and running riot in a 5-1 with thanks to braces from Brian Brobbey and Cody Gakpo, with Crysencio Summerville sealing the game with a goal. Denzel Dumfries was the standout performer, providing two ***** ists. Both came from low crosses after breaking forward on the right flank, with his teammates adding the final touch. His first ***** ist came in the 17th minute as he set up Brobbey for the Netherland's second goal when the striker got in front at the near post. Dumfries' second ***** ist was for Gakpo to make it 3-0 just two minutes after the break.
The result pushes Netherlands onto four points and the top of Group F. Sweden remain on three points with ***** an ahead of them. The Oranje will look to secure first place when they face Tunisia in the early hours of Friday 26 June at 1:00 CEST.

As in the 7-1 opening victory against Curaçao, the midfielder was in the German’s starting line-up and once again impressed with a strong performance in the centre of the park. Nmecha won numerous **** , time and again cleverly set up his teammates and led the way with his aggressive style of play.
However, Germany initially fell behind on Saturday evening as Ivory Coast captain Franck Kessié scored in the 30th minute to make it 1-0 for the West Africans. Even after the break, the German national team struggled for a long time before the substitutions made by German coach Julian Nagelsmann provided a new impetus. Substitute Deniz Undav scored the equaliser in the 68th minute to start turning the game around.
In stoppage time, Felix Nmecha finally made the decisive impact. The Dortmund player's perfectly timed through ball sent Undav clear. The substitute kept his cool in front of goal and slotted home the much-celebrated winner to make it 2-1 (90+4). For Nmecha, it was the match-winning **** ist that capped off yet another outstanding performance.
The evening did not go so well for Nico Schlotterbeck. The centre-back picked up an injury in a challenge after just under a quarter of an hour and had to receive treatment. The Dortmund player was substituted at half-time. Antonio Rüdiger came on in his place.
To round off the group stage, Germany face Ecuador on Thursday (22:00 CEST). The South Americans’ surprise 0-0 draw against Curaçao on Sunday has already secured the German side top spot in Group E early.

Germany reached the World Cup knockout phase for the first time since 2014 with a dramatic come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Ivory Coast on Saturday.
Substitute Deniz Undav scored twice, including the crucial goal four minutes into injury time, triggering a massive roar from the overwhelmingly pro-German crowd of 43,000 in Toronto.
Germany had not advanced from the group stage since winning the 2014 tournament in Brazil, and coach Julian Nagelsmann had been under huge pressure to make that breakthrough.
A first-half goal by Franck Kessie gave the Ivorians a 30th-minute lead.
Kessie turned in from close range following strong work by teenage Ivorian phenomenon Yan Diomande, who is in the sights of some of Europe's top clubs, including Liverpool.

Ahead of France’s first appearance at the World Cup, Get French Football News spoke exclusively to World Cup winner Franck Leboeuf.
In this third of a four-part interview, Franck talks about the importance of squad harmony for France’s – and England’s – chances of winning the World Cup.
Looking back, less so to 2002 but certainly in 2010, France’s problems can manifest themselves more off the pitch than on it. There’s been a little fuss made about the clip of Kylian Mbappé and N’Golo Kanté ignoring each other. Is there really an issue or is this just the media trying to create a story out of nothing?
When you are 100% invested in this, like us, you see problems everywhere! People in everyday life, they haven’t even heard of a Kanté-Mbappé problem, they are not aware of it.
In 2002, there were tensions because we had lost a little bit of our mojo as they say and we were at the end of an extraordinary cycle from 1995 to 2001. By 2002, we were very tired. The World Cup started two or three weeks too early and we’d all played a lot of games and didn’t have sufficient recovery time. Basically we never looked for excuses, but there were excuses.

OGC Nice have confirmed that Claude Puel has left the club. Maurice Cohen, meanwhile, will continue as club president.
Puel replaced Franck Haise back in December with the club in crisis. He presided over a decline that saw Nice end the regular season in the relegation play-off spot. Their survival in the league was confirmed thanks to a win over AS Saint-Étienne (4-1), one of Puel’s former clubs.
However, he will not remain in his post. His contract expired at the end of the season and the club have confirmed that it will not be renewed. Olivier Pantaloni, who led FC Lorient to a midtable finish last season, is expected to replace him. His arrival could be confirmed later today.
Whilst INEOS still remain at the club, there is continued uncertainty surrounding the ownership situation. American investors pulled out of a deal last week. In the meantime, it has been confirmed that Cohen, who arrived alongside Jean-Pierre Rivere in December as co-president, will remain in his post. Rivere, meanwhile, will become president of the OGC Nice endowment fund.

Atalanta defender Odilon Kossounou is named among the Ivory Coast substitutes, while Roma’s Evan Ndicka features on the bench also due to a fitness concern.
Inter’s Ange-Yoan Bonny, who switched international allegiances from France ahead of the tournament, is also among the substitutes.
Former Milan midfielder Franck Kessie starts in midfield alongside Seko Fofana, with Elye Wahi and Nicolas Pepe in attack.
Ex Atalanta forward Amad Diallo is also among the substitutes for the African side.

Might there be signs of better times ahead at Rémy Cointreau? The market seems to think so. Last week, the Rémy Martin Cognac and Bruichladdich whisky maker booked a 35% drop in annual profits but investors, with an eye on what might lie ahead, signalled their support for the French spirits group’s three-year strategy to drive sales and earnings.
In April, CEO Franck Marilly had launched a “transformation plan” dubbed RC Forward, a bid, he said, “to generate our own value creation and thus become less dependent on macroeconomic cycles”. On Thursday (4 June), Marilly provided more detail, providing a target for how much the company is aiming to boost its underlying profits and outlining a series of projects it has drawn up to grow sales.
By the close of trading on Thursday, Rémy Cointreau’s shares were up 9%. Among ******* ysts, however, one could detect a note of caution. The strategy, it’s argued, looks sensible but can the company produce the goods? “The direction is sound,” Barclays ******* yst Laurence Whyatt says, “but delivery and execution remain key from here.”
Rémy Cointreau, home to brands including Cointreau liqueur and The Botanist gin, has had a challenging couple of years, with sales and earnings under pressure amid muted demand in the key spirits markets of the US and China. Cognac has been among the spirits categories most affected by weaker consumer confidence and Rémy Cointreau, with a clear of majority of its sales and profits derived from the French spirit, has suffered.
Marilly, who was appointed last June, wants the company’s financial performance to be less reliant on swings in the macro economy and consumer demand. “The turnaround happens when a company takes back control,” Marilly told ******* ysts on Thursday. “Taking control for me is very meaningful. We need to de-correlate ourselves from the negative markets. It is about clear strategic focus.”
