One final race will determine the Pro Motocross Championship in Round 11 of the outdoor series, Round 28 of the SuperMotocross League, as Hunter and Jett Lawrence take their brother against brother battle to not-so-bitter end on Saturday, August 29, at Ironman Raceway in in Crawfordsville, Indiana, at 1 p.m. ET on Peacock.tv.
Race Day Live will cover qualification, beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Peacock on Saturday.
This is perhaps the friendliest battle SuperMotocross has ever seen as the Lawrences remain the closest of brothers through several championship battles that have come down to the wire.
Only one point separates the two and if they finish as they normally do, with results of first or second, this is a winner-take-all battle. But Jorge Prado, Haiden Deegan, and perhaps even Eli Tomac have the potential to win one or both motos and change the math. If they end with the same number of points, Hunter has the tiebreaker.

There is something for everyone on the Yahoo waiver wire right now, as roster rates tend to climb slowly during the stretch run. And although this is the time of year to heavily stream players with favorable upcoming matchups, there are also a few players who have plenty of potential to become rest-of-season roster mainstays.
The good news doesn't end there, as this week's list includes a strong balance of starters, relievers and hitters. Let's dive in:
Andrew Painter, SP, Phillies, 24%: Since rejoining the Phillies on July 31, Painter has shown some significant changes to his ****** nal that should have fantasy managers excited. The former top prospect seems to have finally figured out his four-seam fastball, which he is throwing harder and inducing more vertical break. His changeup has fed off the fastball improvements to become more effective itself. The results have been excellent, including a 3.62 ERA and 1.06 WHIP across five starts.
Painter should be in most lineups for his Friday start against a weak Angels offense and can remain on rosters if that outing goes well.
J.T. Ginn, SP, Athletics, 32%: Ginn has been the Athletics' most consistent starter this season, as his respectable strikeout skills and heavy groundball lean have made him successful at home and on the road. Still, every Athletics pitcher likely prefers to work away from their hitter-friendly home park, which will be the case for Ginn twice next week, when he makes starts at offense-suppressing venues in Texas and Seattle. Managers who need to load up on starters for the final week of the fantasy regular season should add Ginn and his fellow two-start teammate, Gage Jump (13%), who has fared much better on the road (3.49 ERA) than at home (5.62 ERA).

The PGA Tour finally pulled the trigger on a massive overhaul for its season finale. After years of sticking to the same starting-strokes format at East Lake, the circuit is shifting to a two-week match play event. We're seeing a complete reinvention of how the season ends, not just a tweak. The changes kick in for the 2028 season. Fans who love the drama of head-to-head golf now have a reason to tune in for the final two weeks of the year.
The new structure breaks the final event into two distinct parts. The first week features a group stage, according to Golf Monthly. Thirty-two players will split into eight groups of four. They will play three rounds of stroke play within their groups. The top two from each group move on. Week two shifts to pure match play. This format hasn't been seen on the PGA Tour since the 2023 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. Brian Rolapp, the PGA Tour CEO, addressed the media ahead of the current Tour Championship to clarify the path forward. He noted that the current model is just the start of a broader evolution.
The goal is to create more excitement and higher stakes. The season-long points list will still determine who qualifies. The top 32 on that list earn their spot in the finale. But the way they compete will be totally different. The top 90 players on the points list will still retain their cards, but only the elite 32 get to fight for the trophy in this new way.
For years, East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta has been the only home for the Tour Championship. That ends in 2028. The tournament will now rotate between prestigious venues. The Tour has promised to include courses that the modern circuit hasn't traditionally been able to feature. This opens up the door for historic layouts to host the finale. Rolapp confirmed that conversations are already underway to secure these new locations. He told reporters that East Lake is still a strong option for the future, but it won't hold a monopoly anymore.
East Lake remains among the options being considered for upcoming Tour Championship events. This flexibility allows the Tour to bring the championship to different markets and fan bases. It also adds a layer of novelty that the starting-strokes format lacked. The rotation ensures that the final event feels like a grand tour rather than a local fixture.

September baseball hits differently. Every pitch feels heavier, and a single bad inning can completely derail an entire season. Over the decades, these high-stakes pennant chases haven't just thrilled fans, they've reshaped how MLB runs and how we watch the game.
These pressure-cooker games have done far more than just decide who makes it to October. Over time, they've pushed MLB to tweak its rules, upgrade TV broadcasts and rethink how it builds the regular-season schedule. Many things we take for granted today were born right in the middle of these late-season games.
MORE: Before they were legends: Best rookie breakthroughs in MLB pennant races since 2000
TV networks learned to bounce between live games at lightning speed, split-screen viewing became a standard, and managers completely changed how they handle bullpens when every single out is on the line. Even the playoff brackets and final-week scheduling evolved because of lessons learned during classic September drama.
That's what makes the final stretch of the season so special. Here are five pennant-race moments to remember.

Ronnie O'Sullivan says he does not "want to throw in the towel just yet" after being well beaten in his 6-3 defeat by Chang Bingyu in the semi-finals of the Wuhan Open on Friday.
The seven-time world champion fought back against China Open winner Mark Selby in the quarter-finals on Thursday to seal a 5-3 victory, but he has spoken candidly at this week's ranking event about his struggles.
O'Sullivan has taken steps to prioritise his mental health in recent years, withdrawing from tournaments and discussing his battles with depression and anxiety.
"The disease came back big time today," said the 50-year-old Englishman. "If I'm honest I don't think I will ever get over it."

Caitlin Clark has faced more than her share of on-court altercations with both players and officials, which has led to even the league in general getting plenty of backlash. In a recent face-off against the Wings, Clark and Paige Bueckers had an exchange, which got mixed reactions from fans.
Bueckers tried to purposefully foul Clark, not just once but twice which did not catch the attention of the officials. After the second attempt, Clark could be seen pulling her arm back forcefully which led to Bueckers yelling at her, telling her to calm down.
While the exchange was considered pretty hilarious by many fans, others pointed out that Clark has been the victim of such exchanges throughout this campaign. Candace Parker discussed the situation in a recent 'Post Moves' episode, where she admitted that she would have acted the same way Bueckers did.
"The lip-reading experts are saying Paige told Caitlin to calm down. But here's the thing. I kinda blame the refs a little bit because if you don't hear a whistle, and obviously Paige was trying to foul… She's fouling, and then she fouls again, and I feel that a little bit. But at the same time, the refs didn't call the first one. I would've been like Paige too." Candace Parker said.
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) looks to pass around Dallas Wings guard Azzi Fudd (35) and Dallas Wings guard Aziaha James (10) on Saturday, May 9, 2026, during the first half of the Fever's season opener game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

While Wall Street debates AI chip stocks and hyperscaler capital expenditure, a much quieter deployment of the same technology is beginning to change how the physical world gets maintained.
The infrastructure you drive over, walk across, and depend on every day is becoming the next frontier for AI systems.
The United States has roughly 623,000 bridges. Almost half are in fair condition. About 7% are structurally deficient. Roads earned a D+ in the American Society of Civil Engineers' most recent national ****** sment.
The country's infrastructure report card has improved in recent years, but the backlog for bridge rehabilitation alone runs to $373 billion over the next decade.
AI is now being deployed to help close that gap, and the companies doing it are addressing a market that most technology investors are not watching.

Surrey groundsman Lee Fortis, who made headlines last year after a heated confrontation with India head coach Gautam Gambhir at The Oval, has been placed on leave following a separate altercation with an ECB employee.
Fortis was involved in a heated exchange with the employee while preparations were under way for a Hundred fixture. The ECB employee was reportedly left in tears following the incident.
The episode took place at The Oval on July 28, a day before MI London faced London Spirit at the venue, with both teams training at the ground.
Soon afterwards, Surrey chief executive Steve Elworthy was seen having a firm discussion with Fortis on the field. The groundsman subsequently left the playing area and has not returned to The Oval since.
It remains unclear whether Fortis will return, with some sources in the English game reportedly believing that he may not resume his role.
Fortis is a well-known figure around The Oval and attracted significant attention last year after an argument with Gambhir during India's Test against England.
The disagreement centred on the condition of the square, with Gambhir telling Fortis: "You're just a groundsman, nothing beyond that."
India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak subsequently described Fortis as "arrogant".
Fortis has served as The Oval's head groundsman since 2012, taking up the role at the age of 30. He has since established himself as one of the leading groundsmen in English cricket, winning the ECB's Grounds Manager of the Year award three consecutive times from 2022 to 2024.
During that period, Surrey also won three successive County Championship **** les.
The latest incident has now left one of English cricket's most recognisable groundsmen, who stands around 6ft 10in tall, away from The Oval while the circumstances surrounding his absence remain unclear.

For the vast majority of my life, even as a retail expert who has covered the industry for over 30 years, I never thought much about supply chains outside of work. When I went to a grocery store, it nearly always had what I wanted.
During the Covid pandemic, however, supply chains became a dinner topic because our stores were running out of, or had run out of, key supplies.
In some cases, it was minor. You wanted Bounty, but had to settle for Brawny or even Viva.
When it came to toilet paper, however, that's when people really noticed, and panic buying stepped up. Americans weren't going to the bathroom more. They were not going to the office, so our supply of toilet paper wasn't geared for our quickly changing needs.
MIT supply chain expert Yossi Sheffi commented on the product shortages during the height of the pandemic in 2020.

Ross Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ:ROST) surged after raising its full-year fiscal 2026 earnings guidance. The off-price retailer boosted its FY26 EPS target to $8.61–$8.77 from $7.50–$7.74, cruising past consensus estimates of $7.82.
The primary catalyst was a stellar Q2 2026 report. Total sales rose 13% to $6.3 billion, beating estimates, while comparable-store sales jumped 10% versus 7.6% expected, driven primarily by customer traffic. Operating profits reached $1.1 billion, with operating margin expanding 610 basis points to include a 405 basis point boost from IEEPA tariff refunds. Reported diluted EPS reached $2.66 (vs. $1.56 a year ago), which included a $0.60 per share tariff refund benefit. Excluding this benefit, adjusted EPS came in at $2.06, still beating expectations driven by broad-based gains across customer demographics. The company also increased its fiscal 2026 store expansion plan to 115 new locations.
This performance brings up a core question: Does Ross Stores' double-digit comp growth signal sustainable market share gains, or will non-recurring tariff tailwinds and inventory buildup pressure future upside?
Wall Street **** ysts responded aggressively to the quarter. On August 21, Barclays **** yst Adrienne Yih raised the firm's price target on ROST to $298 from $260, keeping an Overweight rating. She cited the 10% comp beat, noting that Ross's "short-term execution gap versus peers remains wide" while trend strength has continued into Q3. The same day, Deutsche Bank raised its target to $294 from $283 with a Buy rating, highlighting that comp growth was driven by broad-based transaction gains and management's confidence in accelerating two-year comp momentum.
Operationally, Ross benefits from a scalable off-price model that efficiently sources excess inventory. Rapid turns and frequent product changes foster traffic and customer loyalty. Traffic gains across all merchandise categories indicate broad market share gains rather than reliance on a single segment. Furthermore, strong cash generation ($1.71 billion in H1 operating cash flow) supports store expansion, with 115 new openings planned for FY26, and continuous share buybacks without balance sheet strain.

Welcome to the 2026 fantasy football PPR draft rankings! The last couple years have been great for early round running backs, as injuries haven't been as devastating as previous seasons. Are we back to drafting running backs early? I just think we might be. Much depends on your draft spot and who was taken ahead of you, but I'm wanting at least one stud running back in my first two picks and I'm not afraid of going with back-to-back backs to start this season.
There are some truly high-upside receivers in the third, fourth, and fifth rounds this year and I am going to give them a go, while I wait on quarterback and tight end. I'm not locked into this strategy, as you have to be ready to change things up in the middle of a draft, but that's my template for drafting this year.
Even in full PPR leagues, I'm leaning running backs early, but the top receivers do get a **** p compared to half PPR.
Every year we have plenty of injuries to deal with come draft day. There are always players coming off surgeries, who we have to just take our best educated guess as to how they will perform following a major injury. Then there are those players banged up in training camp and preseason. Their team may say they'll be fine, but teams and players lie all the time. We need to remember that a couple games lost to start the season won't kill our redraft teams, but we also need to take each player on a case by case basis.
Mahomes tore his ACL in December last season, which means he hasn't had a ton of time to heal. But, he was cleared for training camp and has been practicing fully. At this point there's no doubt he'll play in Week 1. It appears he will wear a brace, so we can't expect him to run like he did last season, which will hamper his fantasy numbers. At this point, Mahomes isn't a strong fantasy pick, but if they can ever get things going again, we know what he's capable of. A

Al Michaels has been known to go viral for his commentary on the air, whether it's about betting or delivering some of his opinions. On Thursday night, with the legendary play-by-play man calling the New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns preseason game, he did it again.
With President Donald Trump signing an executive order to change the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America, Michaels had this commentary for a shot of Lake Erie: "That is Lake Erie. We think it is still called Lake Erie, we're not quite sure at this point. But we'll be by Lake -- something like -- Ontario or whatever it's going to be called by the time we get to Buffalo. Anyway, you know what I'm talking about.
"Read the news," he added.
Not too subtle there, was he?

Another chapter has opened in the 'Julian Alvarez case'.
Following the public exchange between Atleti CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin and Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste after the Champions League draw, Los Colchoneros manager Diego Simeone faced the media today ahead of their match against Sevilla.
The coach once again gave his view on the summer's biggest transfer saga, involving Alvarez, Barcelona, and Atletico.
Speaking to the media, Simeone confirmed that Alvarez will miss the match after sitting out the last three training sessions, but he remained optimistic when asked whether the striker's situation could eventually be turned around at the Metropolitano.
"I understand that all the questions are going to be about what is happening with Julian. The club was very firm and clear in what it explained," Simeone explained, as quoted by SPORT.

On August 17, satellite communications giant Viasat, Inc. (NASDAQ:VSAT) selected launch and ****** e systems provider Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ:RKLB) to build the ****** ecraft bus for the U.S. ****** e Force's Protected Tactical SATCOM-Global (PTS-G) program. Under the initial "Swarm 1" production award, a $218.8 million prime contract won by Viasat in May, Rocket Lab will supply a geosynchronous configuration of its Lightning ****** ecraft platform (Lightning-GEO) to host Viasat's dual-band X/Ka-band anti-jamming payload. Stifel ****** yst Erik Rasmussen maintained a Buy rating on Rocket Lab following the news, citing a "meaningful share" of the award for Rocket Lab that presents a high eight-figure revenue opportunity and positions the company well for follow-on contracts.
Viasat and Rocket Lab present two fundamentally different financial profiles, with Viasat emphasizing scale and improving cash flow while Rocket Lab delivers significantly faster growth. Viasat, Inc. (NASDAQ:VSAT) generated approximately $1.2 billion in Q1 FY2027 revenue, down 1% year over year, primarily reflecting a 4% decline in its Defense and Advanced Technology segment while Communications Services remained flat. Its net loss narrowed to $52 million from $56 million in Q1 FY2026, helped by lower interest expenses following debt repayment. Adjusted EBITDA declined 7% year over year to $381 million, while free cash flow increased 19% to $72 million, excluding non-recurring items. This improvement helped reduce net leverage to 3.2x, down 0.4x, while quarterly awards increased 10% year over year to $1.3 billion.
Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ:RKLB), meanwhile, posted record Q2 2026 revenue of $234.1 million, up 62% year over year, driven by rapid expansion in its ****** e Systems business. Although the company recorded a GAAP net loss of $49.25 million, gross profit increased to $84.57 million, while backlog surged 137% year over year to $2.36 billion. Cash reserves also climbed to $2.13 billion following an ATM equity offering. While Viasat generates roughly five times the revenue and stronger operating cash flow, Rocket Lab is growing at a much faster pace, rapidly scaling its high-margin ****** e Systems business alongside launch services.
Viasat's bull case is supported by strong cash flow generation, with $72 million in free cash flow, and a multi-billion-dollar backlog that provides visibility for continued debt reduction. Its ****** e Force PTS-G win also reinforces the strength of its defense business and could support future growth. However, the bear case centers on declining top-line growth, with revenue down 1% year over year. Heavy capital expenditures on satellite constellations, combined with existing leverage constraints, could limit the company's ability to respond quickly to changing market conditions.

One of the more delicious developments on the stock exchange on Wednesday was the latest quarterly earnings report from J.M. Smucker (NYSE:SJM). The storied food company delivered a convincing beat-and-raise quarter, but this was tempered somewhat by a large one-off payment from the U.S. federal government.
Still, there's much that was impressive about Smucker's opening frame of its new fiscal year. Let's sit at the table, grab some utensils, and tuck into this one.

Large-cap value is beating the broader market in 2026, but VTV, COWZ, and DHS capture the rotation differently. VTV offers broad traditional value exposure, COWZ targets companies with high free-cash-flow yields, and DHS emphasizes high-dividend stocks.
COWZ offers the strongest quality-oriented value tilt. Its free-cash-flow methodology has helped it outperform while avoiding some weaknesses of traditional valuation screens, although investors pay a higher 0.49% expense ratio.
VTV and DHS fill clearer portfolio roles. VTV is the ultra-low-cost core option at 0.03%, while DHS offers the highest income focus with monthly distributions and a yield around 3%.

Large-cap value has quietly outrun the broader market in 2026, and three exchange-traded funds capture that shift while paying meaningful dividends: the Vanguard Value ETF (NYSEARCA:VTV), the Pacer US Cash Cows 100 ETF (CBOE:COWZ), and the WisdomTree U.S. High Dividend Fund (NYSEARCA:DHS). Each is beating the S&P 500 year to date, but each defines "value" differently, which matters more than the shared headline.

Bloomberg senior ETF ******* yst Eric Balchunas says the "debasement trade" is increasingly stealing attention from artificial intelligence, pointing to record demand for gold and Bitcoin exchange-traded funds.
"Gold and Bitcoin ETFs have combined for +$7b in flows in past week, by far a record for a 5-day period as debasement trade steals spotlight from AI," Balchunas wrote on X on Aug. 26.
He said SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) and BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the move, with both ranking among the 10 most-traded ETFs over the week.
Balchunas also noted that IBIT's year-to-date flows had turned positive after recovering from earlier outflows.
The latest comment builds on a post a day earlier, when Balchunas said GLD and IBIT had returned to the top 10 most-traded ETFs while semiconductor funds, which dominated much of the summer, slipped down the rankings.

Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR) has tied much of its balance-sheet strategy to Bitcoin. But the company's latest move adds something less volatile to that equation: approximately $1.6 billion in cash.
The company has established a liquidity pool "USD Cash" that can be used for Bitcoin purchases, share repurchases, and other treasury activities. It is separate from Strategy's (NASDAQ:MSTR) existing USD Reserve, which is restricted to preferred-stock dividends and interest payments. For investors, the new pool provides greater financial flexibility, although it does not fundamentally change the company's exposure to Bitcoin.
The strongest argument for the new cash pool is optionality, as Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) can deploy the money according to market conditions instead of raising capital whenever an opportunity appears. If Bitcoin prices fall, the company could use some of the cash to acquire the ***** et without first raising additional funds at that time. Keeping liquidity available may also help Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) navigate periods of cryptocurrency weakness. Bitcoin's volatility can create attractive purchasing opportunities, but only for companies that have enough accessible capital to act. A dedicated pool gives Strategy the ability to maintain cash while continuing to pursue the accumulation strategy at the center of its investment case.
The timing may appear favorable following an improvement in digital-asset sentiment. Bitcoin gained slightly more than 13% over the five trading sessions preceding the announcement and moved above $70,000 for the first time since June. The rally followed President Donald Trump's call for Congress to establish clearer digital-asset rules. Risk ***** ets also benefited after the US Treasury doubled the size of buybacks for longer-duration debt, helping restrain yields.
Share repurchases provide another possible use. Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) could buy back its stock when management believes it trades below intrinsic value, potentially benefiting continuing shareholders. The company disclosed a $1 billion common-stock repurchase authorization in its second-quarter results, although no shares had been repurchased under that program at the time of the release. The distinction between USD Cash and the existing USD Reserve is important. Under Strategy's (NASDAQ:MSTR) current policy, the existing USD Reserve may be used only for preferred-stock dividends and debt interest unless the board authorizes another use, and the new pool gives management considerably greater freedom without drawing on funds intended to meet those financial commitments.

Yann Gboho (25) has been linked with a transfer all summer, however, the Ivory Coast international remains at Toulouse FC. But that could change in the final days of the transfer window. As per a report from RMC Sport, the Ivorian winger is now attracting interest from RC Lens and Hull City.
Kansas City have been interested in Gboho throughout the summer, but have thus far failed to get a move over the line. L'Équipe described the prospective deal as "complex" earlier this week. Olympique de Marseille have also been interested throughout the summer. However, OM have yet to make a single transfer this summer. They must still make sales before being able to dip into the market themselves. Time is running out.
But there is now interest from RC Lens, who will compete in the UEFA Champions League this season. There is also interest from Hull City, who are back in the Premier League and beat Manchester United upon their return to the top flight.

During the August 24 episode of Mad Money, Jim Cramer pointed to the sharp reversal in AEVEX Corp. (NYSE:AVEX) stock as he said:
What the heck happened to a stock we really like, AEVEX? I mean, here's a company that makes drones for the military, the single hottest part of the defense sector yet, its stock's been [on] a, let's call it, a roller coaster. AEVEX came public at $20 back in April, jumped nearly 35% the first day of trading, ultimately running as high as $42 and change a few days later. Now, though, it's fallen through the offer price, coming down to $18. I can't find out why.
Some of it's because AEVEX reported earlier this month, and Wall Street, I guess, didn't like the numbers. Stock got slammed. Didn't matter that it was a huge revenue beat. The earnings and backlog both came in weaker than expected, but not that much. Still, I think demand remains strong. They keep winning a lot of new business. At the same time, AEVEX is trying to buy BlackSea Technologies for as much as $650 million in stock and cash, which is a lot of money when you're a $2 billion company. This would give them exposure to unmanned ships and submarines, which they could tie into their drone software system.
AEVEX Corp. (NYSE:AVEX) reported $201.8 million of revenue for the second quarter, up 99.5% from $101.1 million a year earlier. Net income improved to $6.7 million from a loss of $11.8 million, while adjusted EBITDA rose to $28.1 million from $3.6 million. Most of the growth came from AEVEX's tactical systems business. Revenue in the segment increased to $174.2 million, up 141.6% year over year, driven by higher UAS product and support revenue.
AEVEX Corp. (NYSE:AVEX) ended the second quarter with $259.8 million of funded backlog, down from $503.1 million at the end of 2025. That represents a decline of roughly 48%. The company said the $243.3 million decline was primarily due to revenue recognized from the EUCOM AOR Deep Strike program. The company also said the balance was affected by an increase in shorter-cycle customer orders. AEVEX continued to secure new business during the quarter, including contracts for UAS and engineering services, mission-support capabilities, and advanced unmanned mission capabilities.

Indians sold 50 tons of old gold jewelry for cash last quarter. That's a 43% jump from the same period last year for a population that loves ****** ding gold. What changed? Prices.
Indian families are rushing to lock in their gains by selling old jewelry for cash. But here's the twist: Indian gold buyers also spent about $20.75 billion, up nearly 50% from last year.
The logic is straightforward: A gold chain bought years ago at, say, $314-419 per 10 grams is suddenly "worth" 4-5x that at the price peak. Suddenly, the gold that felt like a permanent family ****** et starts looking more like an investment position with a visible, bankable profit.
Usually when this happens, people trade old jewelry for new, but this time they opted for cash.

Jim Cramer highlighted Sandisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) capital-return plans on the August 24 episode of Mad Money, as he said:
I do not envy the executives trying to appease shareholders with giant returns of capital. Most companies have a preset pattern. The average company in the S&P 500 returns a great deal of the profits to shareholders. Some companies take a pretty extreme approach. Apple returned roughly 94% of its profits, mostly in the form of buybacks, and it dramatically shrunk its share count. That worked fabulously for years as the buyback crunched on and on...
Sandisk has a similar playbook. At its August 13th investor day, the memory maker dazzled with the announcement that it intends to return 100% of its excess cash to shareholders. The company rewarded shareholders with $4.5 billion in buybacks in its fiscal fourth quarter alone. Also added $14 billion to its repurchase authorization. That's one reason why the stock's up 529% year to date. That's the number one performer in the S&P 500… They kind of issued a put, a floor on the stock. Dell, the third-best performer, up 244%, wow, returned 126% of its net income to shareholders, 126%, mostly through buybacks. Net income was $5.9 billion. Buybacks were about $7.5 billion. I know that sounds reckless, but Dell's operating cash flow is more than $11 billion. They can afford it.
Sandisk Corporation's (NASDAQ:SNDK) fiscal 2026 results explain why investors have been willing to ***** ign the company a dramatically higher valuation. Revenue reached $20.25 billion, up 175% from fiscal 2025, while GAAP net income reached $11.43 billion, compared with a $1.64 billion loss a year earlier. Q4 revenue alone reached $8.97 billion, up 51% sequentially and 372% year over year. The most striking change was profitability. The company's fourth-quarter non-GAAP gross margin reached 84.6%, compared with 78.4% in the previous quarter and 26.4% in the year-ago quarter.
It is worth noting that the company said roughly two-thirds of its sequential fourth-quarter revenue increase came from pricing, while about one-third came from higher volume. If NAND prices remain elevated, Sandisk's unusually high gross margins give it substantial operating leverage.
