An expert has broken down Queen Camilla's beach clean-up moment with King Charles on their Caribbean tour. She arrived over the weekend to join her husband for the final leg in Antigua and Barbuda on November 1, 2026. The monarch began the nine-day tour on his own on October 27, 2026, covering the Bahamas and Guyana before the final leg.
An expert has observed that Queen Camilla looked "uncomfortable" while helping clear a beach in Antigua, even blurting out a quick four-word warning to dodge a painful slip-up. King Charles and Queen Camilla joined local volunteers on the sands of Fort James Beach for the environmental initiative. The Queen opted to take off her shoes and walk barefoot to navigate the shoreline during the task.
However, per the Daily Express, lip-reading specialist Nicola Hickling has warned that walking shoeless amid a busy royal party carries its own risks. On examining the arrival footage, she remarked that Camilla's face was "worth watching here." The comment came as the royal made her way over the sand alongside her husband.
Hickling told the outlet that the Queen looked "slightly uncomfortable" as she abruptly moved away from King Charles. It was "possibly to avoid having her toes trodden on." Amid the clumsy shift, Her Majesty reportedly uttered the striking four-word line: "I must go easy."
The moment, however, passed without incident, and the couple carried on cheerfully. They even playfully crossed their litter pickers like swords, then took turns placing collected rubbish into a black bag. After that, the royal pair listened to Jennifer Meranto, founder and chief executive of Adopt a Coastline. She outlined the crucial effort to safeguard the island's shore. Two of the group's youth ambassadors joined Meranto for the briefing.

King Charles has referenced the moment he was caught without an umbrella on Nov. 1
He referred to the incident in a self-deprecating manner during his speech to government leaders in the Caribbean on Nov. 3, which was hosted by him and Queen Camilla
Charles and Camilla's tour of the Caribbean, which has also taken in The Bahamas and Guyana, ends on Nov. 4
King Charles is making light of the moment his umbrella kerfuffle went viral.
Charles, 77, made headlines around the world when he was seen gesturing to aides for an umbrella when he and Queen Camilla, 79, were caught in a sudden downpour in Antigua on Nov. 1.

Nashville SC is the first MLS club to clinch a spot in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup. The team has guaranteed a finish no worse than third in the league's overall standings, with matches still remaining on the 2026 schedule.
The math is simple: Nashville's position is now unreachable by any chasing club, even in a worst-case run to close out the season. That removes any dependency on other results and hands the front office an international fixture to plan around a year in advance.
Qualification doesn't end the ambition. Third place is the floor, not the ceiling, and Nashville still has reason to push for a higher finish before the playoffs begin. A stronger regular-season position carries weight heading into the postseason, where seeding and momentum matter.
The early clinch also gives the roster-building process a head start. Playing continental and domestic competitions at once demands depth — injuries, suspensions and fatigue all hit harder across a packed calendar — so locking in the Champions Cup spot now lets the front office plan accordingly instead of waiting on the regular season's final weeks.
The Concacaf Champions Cup is the region's top club competition, pitting MLS sides against teams from Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. For Nashville, it's a chance to test the squad against different styles and raise its profile beyond the domestic league — part of a broader push by MLS clubs to build credibility on the continental stage.

The Defense secretary praised the ship's crew for its resilience and dedication.
The USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group will return to its homeport of San Diego on Thursday, concluding a 10-month deployment to the Middle East where it played a key role in the war with Iran and set a new record of 265 days in between ports of call.
In all, the ship will have spent 321 days on deployment, the second-longest since the end of the Cold War. The longest deployment was set earlier this year when the carrier USS Gerald R. Ford returned from a 326-day deployment to Europe, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth visited the Lincoln on Wednesday ahead of its return home and praised the ship's crew for its resilience and dedication during the lengthy deployment.
Hegseth told sailors gathered on the carrier's flight deck that he had extended their deployment twice -- in recent years typical carrier strike deployments have lasted seven months.

The Princess of Wales is best known for a timeless aesthetic - a wardrobe built on tailored classics she can re-wear. Yet on rare occasions, Kate delivers pure show-stopping drama, such as her unforgettable metallic gold gown at the 2021 No Time to Die premiere.
However, her boldest fashion moment to date took place during the 2022 Caribbean tour. Stepping out in a sweeping emerald green gown by Jenny Packham, the royal effortlessly brought red-carpet glamour to the tropics.
The sumptuous tulle gown had a modern off-the-shoulder, Bardot neckline, which was gathered and three-dimensional as it wrapped around the bust of the dress.
Kate's Jenny Packham style was dramatically gorgeous
With her famous mane swept back off her face in a tightly woven bun, Kate's epic gown took centre stage and royal fans all over the world fell in love with it.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. military said it attacked a boat suspected of being used to smuggle drugs in the Caribbean Sea on Sunday, killing four people, as the Trump administration continues its yearlong campaign against alleged traffickers in Latin America.
The latest attack brings the number of people who have been killed in boat strikes by the U.S. military to at least 235 in 70 strikes since the Trump administration began targeting those it calls "narcoterrorists" in September 2025. As with most of the military's statements on strikes in the eastern Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea, U.S. Southern Command said it targeted the alleged drug traffickers along known smuggling routes.
The military did not provide evidence that the vessel was ferrying drugs. A video posted on X showed what appeared to be an explosion destroying a moving boat, which the military said was a go-fast vessel.
The Trump administration is pursuing deals with allied nations to extend its offensive to land across multiple Latin American countries. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said during a visit to Panama in August that Colombia, Guatemala and Honduras had agreed to allow the U.S. to carry out joint military operations against criminal groups on their soil. Guatemala denied reaching such a deal. Ecuador launched similar missions with the U.S. in March.
President Donald Trump has said the U.S. is in "armed conflict" with cartels in Latin America and has justified the attacks as a necessary escalation to stem the flow of drugs into the United States and fatal overdoses claiming American lives. But his administration has offered little evidence to support its claims of killing smugglers.

On August 20, Royal Caribbean Group (NYSE:RCL) said it had completed a sale of $1.25 billion of notes that carry a 5.55% coupon and come due on January 20, 2034. The money is earmarked first for floating-rate term loans, with anything left over used to repay or refinance other debt, and the offering rode on a shelf registration filed on February 29, 2024. That sounds like routine upkeep. But next to an earnings beat and a flat third-quarter pricing outlook, the deal gives you a handy lens on where the company stands.
Start with the debt itself. Swapping floating-rate borrowings for notes with a stated 5.550% coupon takes some interest-rate guesswork out of the picture, and the notes don't mature until January 20, 2034. That matters because $2.7 billion comes due in 2027 and $3.4 billion in 2028. Against those bills, the company held $6.9 billion of liquidity as of June 30, and it added $250 million to its revolving credit line in July.
The business generating the cash is running well. On July 28, Royal Caribbean reported second-quarter adjusted earnings of $4.21 per share, ahead of its own guidance on stronger last-minute demand, lower costs, and better results from joint ventures. Management then raised full-year adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $17.73 to $17.87, which implies 14% growth. It also kept returning cash to shareholders in the second quarter, through $404 million of dividends and $199 million of buybacks. Booking volumes are running above last year, and 2027 bookings are tracking ahead of past years, even on routes that geopolitical events hit in 2026.
Beat or not, that $4.21 is still below the $4.38 from the same quarter in 2025. Costs excluding fuel per passenger cruise day rose 4.4%, and the cost beat came largely from the timing of expenses. Then there is pricing, where the story gets less rosy. Third-quarter net yields are guided to roughly flat against 2025 while capacity grows 8.5%, so the expected 8% revenue growth comes from more capacity, not from better yields. Management also says prolonged geopolitical activity has dented bookings on select itineraries. It calls the hit modest, but it is now built into guidance.
The refinancing also doesn't shrink the debt pile. New notes pay off old borrowings, so the total owed stays roughly where it was, and the company still expects net interest of $980 million to $990 million this year. Add roughly $4.7 billion of capital spending in 2026, mostly for new ships and destination projects, and it is clear this business needs a steady supply of capital. The April ship orders, Icon VI and Icon VII, extend that appetite, though their financing is already committed.

Estes Express Lines is investing nearly $56 million to expand its cross-border and offshore freight network, including terminals, equipment and capacity serving Canada, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
Alex Peebles, senior director of offshore and international at Estes, said the privately held, family-owned carrier is taking a longer view of the freight market rather than allowing current conditions to dictate its investment strategy.
"We're really looking at all of these investments from a long-term horizon and viewpoint perspective and one that's going to help accommodate growth and capacity into all the offshore international markets that we service," Peebles told FreightWaves.
Estes, which is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year, is North America's largest privately held less-than-truckload (LTL) freight transportation provider. The company operates a network of over 300 terminals and service centers across the U.S., Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii with coverage extending to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean
Peebles said the company's ownership structure gives it flexibility to move quickly when real estate and equipment opportunities arise.

Matt Bell, 52, has been farming for more than half his life in central North Carolina. He grows soybeans, corn and wheat and raises beef cattle on more than 1,000 acres. But Bell, who voted for President Trump, says soaring prices for fuel, fertilizer, and equipment are hurting his farm and leading some of his fellow farmers to consider calling it quits once this growing season ends.
"I've done this 34 years. I have never worried and stressed like I have the last year," Bell told CBS News in an interview on Wednesday at his farm in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
Bell has been forced to make significant changes to his operation as a result of the high costs. He's shifting some of his acreage, trying to stretch out the lifespan of his equipment and producing his own fertilizer. His children have also opened up a storefront where visitors can pick pumpkins and take hayrides in the fall. But Bell is still feeling the pinch.
"We've cut everything we can cut," he said. "The last several years in agriculture have been terrible, and we have, you know, just cut the fat anywhere we could. But we're just getting to the point now there's nothing left to cut. You cannot run without fuel. You cannot run without fertilizer. You have to have that."

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) argued Wednesday that House GOP leaders sent the lower chamber home early because they found other Republicans in support of his push to impeach Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
“The fact that they didn’t vote on it tells me that they did a whip check, and they probably found that there were some other Republicans, besides me, that were going to vote for this, or at least didn’t want to be on the record supporting Hegseth,” he told host Kaitlan Collins on CNN’s “The Source.”
The outgoing Kentucky libertarian, a frequent critic of President Trump, introduced eight articles of impeachment against Hegseth on Tuesday.
Massie accused Hegseth of violating his “oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States,” citing his handling of the Iran war and operations to kill alleged drug traffickers in the Caribbean Sea and eastern Pacific Ocean.
The GOP lawmaker, who lost his primary in May to Trump-backed Ed Gallrein, also made his impeachment resolution privileged.

I asked if the soybean rally was over in a June 18, 2026, Barchart article, where I concluded with the following:
The weather over the coming weeks and months during the 2026 growing season is critical for the path of least resistance of CBOT soybean and soybean product futures. However, the situation in the Middle East adds complexities beyond the weather and crop to the soybean market, which could cause sudden price volatility.

BEIJING/SINGAPORE, Sept 10 (Reuters) - China ‌bought 14 to 15 cargoes ‌of U.S. soybeans this week, or around 1 million metric tons, four traders told Reuters, as the world's top oilseed buyer steps up purchases ‌ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Washington later this month.
The purchases take China's total U.S. soybean buying to nearly half of the 25 million tons the White House ‌said Beijing had committed to annually through 2028.
Chinese state stockpiler Sinograin booked the cargoes for shipment from U.S. Gulf terminals between December and February, ‌traders said.
Sinograin did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comment.

After being passed over for roles because of her age, "The Drop" star Gail Bean is opening up about the ageism Black women face in Hollywood.
"Black don't crack" is one of the many phrases that pop culture has adopted to classify the graceful ways in which Black communities age. Now, while social media celebrates the ways Black women seem to age like fine wine, Hollywood seems to have a different standard when it comes to casting. During an appearance on "DMC with Na'im Lynn," "The Drop" actress Gail Bean revealed how her age has stopped her from getting roles.
"Let me tell you something. And we're not even really talking about the industry, but just to get into the industry, a deep, meaningful conversation piece that needs to happen when it comes to women and their age. I have been told this year alone for two projects that I was too old," Bean, 33, explained. "I was told I was too old to play Shantae, Snoop Dog's wife. I was told I was too old to play Storm [from X-Men]."
And while Lynn joked that Bean looks like a teenager, she explained: "They see my age online. And they're just like, 'Oh, no.' And the thing is, these are phenomenal casting directors. They do love me. They bring me in for way [more] other stuff. But, like, I was on the list literally two years ago for X-Men, for Marvel…as time passed, they're like, 'Yeah, no.'"
Bean continued, "I had such an emotional moment because it was like back-to-back within a month of being told no. And here's the thing. I'm okay with the no. It wasn't the no that hurt my feelings. It was the I'm too old that hurt my feelings."

We have the first official injury report of the season. Probably not something that should make us excited, but here we are, being very Buffalonian in our eagerness to comb through all the videos, team practice photos, and press conferences ahead of the Buffalo Bills' Week 1 matchup with the Houston Texans.
There's been a lot of talk about this year's Bills team being different — from every angle — and that includes how the coaching staff, and medical team, are approaching player health. These reports will start to tell us if we have something to be excited about or if we are headed for another — what did Brandon Beane call it? — reset?
Now we have our first official look at the health meter for both the Bills and the Texans heading into Sunday.
NOTE: This tracker will be updated following each injury report leading up to kickoff.

Ahead of the Cincinnati Bengals' season opener on Sunday, Sept. 13, Paycor Stadium introduced a slate of new food and beverage options, including a seafood tower, Mazunte walking tacos, a double smash cheeseburger and oversized ice cream sundaes.
Christopher Revercomb, senior executive chef for Aramark Sports + Entertainment, which oversees food service at Paycor Stadium, said the goal is to balance traditional game-day favorites with upscale offerings. The menu is shaped by fan feedback, sales data and emerging food trends.

The Buffalo Bills haven't played a game yet, but they aren't completely healthy heading into Week 1.
Wide receiver Khalil Shakir, linebacker Terrel Bernard and safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson are among the players Buffalo will monitor before opening the regular season against the Houston Texans.
The Bills visit the Texans at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13 at Reliant Stadium.
Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane provided updates on several injured players Sept. 1, and the Bills will release their first official injury report of the season on Wednesday.
Houston already knows it will be without several players. Wide receiver Jayden Higgins is out for the season with a torn ACL, while wide receiver Tank Dell and offensive tackle Braden Smith will miss at least the first four games on injured reserve.

Deion Sanders is still remembered as one of the most iconic players in the NFL's history. His accomplishments while playing for 14 seasons in the league are still remarkable, being an 8-time Pro Bowler, 6-time first-team All-Pro, and the 1994 AP Defensive Player of the Year.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer is also a two-time Super Bowl champion, one with the San Francisco 49ers and the other with the Dallas Cowboys. However, those trophies meant nothing at one point to him.
Sanders won his two Super Bowl trophies back-to-back, with the 49ers in the 1994 season and the following season with the Cowboys. He achieved both of them at the age of 27 and 28, respectively, and became a living icon already at the time. Aside from the Super Bowls, he has also achieved much more and has also played in the Major League Baseball.

He recently admitted that these victories eventually did not provide him with any personal fulfillment and made him feel empty. In a recent interview on Hallow's Coffee with Jeff with Jeff Cavins, Sanders explained, "I thought people, places, and things would give me that, even the accolades. Well, they didn't. I received every darn accolade you could think of. On the journey to go on to the Super Bowl and win, and everybody went out and partied that night. And I couldn't get myself to do it. I didn't have peace."

A major age-fraud crackdown has hit Bengal cricket, with the BCCI suspending leg-spinner Rohit Yadav from domestic cricket for two years after discrepancies were found in his age-related documents.

The action comes shortly after Rohit was picked for India's Under-19 ******* ignments against Australia. The youngster had also featured in India's U-19 tour of Sri Lanka in July, where he took six wickets and helped the team secure victory in the final Test.

Rohit, who hails from Uttar Pradesh, had recently been part of India's U-19 tour of Sri Lanka in July. He claimed six wickets on the tour and played a key role in India's victory in the final Test. The spinner was subsequently selected for India's U-19 home ******* ignments against Australia, with multi-day and one-day matches scheduled to be played in Rajkot and Ahmedabad later this month. However, his selection came under scrutiny after inconsistencies were found in his age-related documents during the Sri Lanka tour.

According to the PTI report, Rohit has three birth certificates that list different years of birth - 2007, 2009 and 2010. The discrepancies make him ineligible for age-group cricket and prompted further verification of his records.

The 19-year-old, who has represented Bengal in age-group cricket, was found to have an age discrepancy of 27 months, according to the CAB. The ban is effective immediately, with all BCCI-affiliated state ******* ociations notified of the decision.
Rohit's case is part of a much wider crackdown by the CAB on age and documentation irregularities. The ******* ociation has declared 62 players ineligible for registration or transfer for competitions during the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons.

The CAB has also barred 62 other players over similar age discrepancies. Among them is former India Under-19 World Cup-winning pacer Ravi ******* ar, who played a key role in India's ******* le-winning campaign in the 2022 edition in the Caribbean.

Ravi, a left-arm pacer, made his senior debut for Bengal in 2022 but last featured for the state in 2023. His age-group records from his debut through the 2025-26 season will now be considered invalid. His age discrepancy is understood to be more than 40 months.

Deere & Company (NYSE:DE) seems to have attracted renewed attention from ***** ysts after an impressive rise in its stock so far this year. As of August 31, the stock gained more than 35%. On August 31, Baird upgraded its rating on Deere & Company (NYSE:DE) from Neutral to Outperform and lifted its price target from $640 to $800.
Bull Case
Baird sees a favorable setup for Deere & Company (NYSE:DE) because of its high exposure to North American row-crop equipment demand. The research firm expects the company to be among the first agricultural equipment companies to benefit when investors see a recovery in the agricultural sector.
The firm also noted that commentary on early order programs indicated that orders for planters and sprayers were up by a mid-single-digit percentage compared with last year's completed program. Baird believes that this suggests early order programs could end up higher by completion and this also provides early signs of a possible recovery in production and precision agriculture.
According to Baird, the current early order programs could be significantly underestimating the actual demand potential for production and precision agriculture in 2027 if its ***** sment of corn and soybean fundamentals proves correct. The firm noted that the potential recovery should continue into 2028.

On August 3, The Andersons Inc. (NASDAQ:ANDE) reported second-quarter results that dwarfed last year's numbers, with net income attributable to the company climbing to $57 million, or $1.65 per diluted share, from just $7.9 million, or $0.23 per share, a year earlier. Adjusted net income reached $74 million, or $2.15 per share, versus $8.4 million, or $0.24 per share, in the second quarter of 2025. The turnaround leaned almost entirely on one business: renewable fuels.
Renewables did the heavy lifting. The segment posted a record second-quarter pretax income of $65 million, with the adjusted figure reaching $88 million, on record plant output and strong merchandising execution. Andersons credited its low-carbon strategy for $24 million in 45Z producer tax credits during the quarter, plus the first-quarter finalization of the Renewable Volume Obligations, which firmed up commodity markets and opened trading opportunities for the merchandising desk. Gains in distillers corn oil and RIN pricing also helped. Segment adjusted EBITDA came in at $103 million, more than triple the $30 million posted a year earlier.
Agribusiness improved too, if more modestly, with pretax income of $20 million, both on a GAAP and adjusted basis, up from $17 million in the prior-year quarter. Fertilizer margins strengthened even as volumes fell, and merchandising benefited from higher commodity prices and early-quarter volatility. The company is pushing further into low-carbon fuels, preparing a debottlenecking project at its Clymers, Indiana ethanol plant and advancing a Class VI well permit to capture more 45Z value. A new soybean meal export operation at the Port of Houston is expected online in the fourth quarter. Operating cash flow of $488 million for the quarter, up from $299 million a year earlier, gave the company room to keep funding those projects while holding long-term debt to EBITDA below its 2.5-times target.
The numbers come with caveats. Cash and cash equivalents stood at just $66.5 million at the end of the second quarter, down from $351 million a year earlier, even as short-term debt climbed to $314 million from $104 million. Much of that swing traces to working capital timing and investment spending rather than distress, but it leaves less cushion than the company carried a year ago.
In Agribusiness, the fertilizer and merchandising gains were partly offset by fuel surcharges, a reminder that the segment's profitability still moves with input costs it does not control. Andersons also warned that a drier stretch across its western growing regions could weigh on grain-asset profits this fall, even though better conditions in the eastern corn belt cut the other way, and that grower economics could limit fertilizer purchasing heading into the fall application season.
