Nicole Kidman and her daughter Faith, 15, attended Chanel's latest show on October 5.
They coordinated in shades of gray.
Kidman, 59, also debuted a subtle hair change.
Nicole Kidman switched up her bangs as she stepped out with her 15-year-old daughter during Paris Fashion Week. On October 5, she and Faith, whose father is country artist Keith Urban, sat front row at Chanel's latest show.
The mother-daughter duo coordinated in shades of gray, with Kidman sporting an oversized Chanel blazer as a minidress. She layered the tweed double-breasted jacket over sheer tights, accessorizing with a pair of stilettos. As for Faith, she paired a Chanel cardigan with medium-wash jeans, as well as the label's signature cap-toe heels.

Anne Hathaway's doctor discouraged her from going on Hot Ones to promote her new film, Verity, for good reason: eating hot wings would cause pregnancy complications.
The Academy Award winner stars as author Verity Crawford, who goes on a press tour in the upcoming drama-thriller. Among the media visits that Crawford goes on is the Sean Evans-hosted Hot Ones, where Hathaway ate several hot wings before switching to "dummy" wings. The actress then thought that she would visit the real version of the show for the Verity press run.
"But then I got pregnant, and my doctor said I couldn't do it because I might go into early labor, so I still haven't done the gauntlet yet," Hathaway said.
COMPLEX SHOP: Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. Uncover what's next. Buy. Collect. Obsess.
Hathaway is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman and announced her pregnancy in June. Verity releases on Oct. 2.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been given a simple piece of advice as their family adjusts to life in the UK. Relationship expert Georgina Vass suggested that the couple focus on "honest communication." This comes as the couple helps their children navigate the major transition.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the UK with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after leaving the country back in 2020. The family is now believed to be living in the Cotswolds after relocating from California.
Speaking to "Gloucestershire Live", relationship expert Georgina Vass said the couple could help their children adapt by "modelling adaptation through honest communication about the hurdles, complicated feelings, and exciting opportunities." The expert also suggested creating consistent routines around school, meals, bedtime, and weekends. According to Vass, familiar routines could help reduce feelings of disruption while the children settle into their new surroundings.
Her advice also focused on Harry and Meghan's relationship. She said staying emotionally connected during disagreements and sharing disappointments could help couples develop stronger trust and mutual support. She added, "Relationships strengthened by adversity can develop greater resilience, honesty, and confidence in their ability to survive difficulty together as a team."
The move has also brought changes to Archie and Lilibet's education. The Sussexes' kids were initially registered at a British school in September. However, reports claimed the children later switched schools because of security and logistical concerns surrounding the route to that specific school. The school has not been publicly identified for safeguarding reasons. Reports suggested heavy traffic during rush hour had significantly increased the journey time, creating additional concerns around security.

On Thursday, Oct. 1, Lady Gaga issued an apology to influencer Golloria after the creator criticized the singer's brand Haus Labs for its new bronzer's lack of shade diversity
"I don't know what or who you guys switched up in that lab, but switch it back," the influencer said in her video from May
In her statement, Gaga admitted the brand made "the wrong decision" and said that the product would "launch soon" with a wider shade range
Lady Gaga is apologizing to influencer Golloria four months after she called out the singer's brand Haus Labs for its new bronzer.
In May, Golloria made a video criticizing the upcoming product Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil, which was initially planed to launch with six shades. The influencer was disappointed upon swatching the three darkest shades on her face, explaining that she generally likes Haus Labs' complexion products. "I don't know what or who you guys switched up in that lab, but switch it back. Thank you," she said.

Bloom Energy Corporation (NYSE:BE) garnered significant investor attention after it unveiled a new 800V DC-native fuel-cell power architecture on September 16, designed to supply continuous direct current to the next generation of AI data centers.
These solid-oxide fuel cells can generate continuous 800V DC power natively, rather than producing AC power that then has to be converted into DC that AI computing equipment ultimately consumes. This potentially removes several conversion stages, such as transformers and switchgear, thus lowering capital cost and energy losses.
Bloom claims that its technology can cut non-compute capital expenditures for a 1 GW data center by $3.6 billion, or 27%, and lower five-year total cost of ownership by $5.5 billion, or 9%, compared to traditional AC-based infrastructure.
With this technology, Bloom Energy is targeting one of the biggest bottlenecks in the ongoing AI boom – securing large amounts of reliable power quickly and economically. If 800V DC becomes widely adopted across AI data centers, the company will benefit not only from the soaring power demand, but also from a broader shift in how that power is generated and delivered.
Bloom Energy pointed to Nvidia's planned adoption of 800V DC architecture beginning with Rubin Ultra and Kyber systems as an indication of where data center power infrastructure is heading. In its 2026 Mid-Year Data Center Power Report, Bloom claimed that data center leaders expect DC-based architectures to account for 58% of new deployments by 2030, potentially creating a significant market for technologies designed around direct-current power delivery.

HDV has outpaced VYM by nearly 9 points year-to-date in 2026 while paying a 3.34% yield versus VYM's 2.20%.
HDV's 75-stock tilt toward energy, healthcare, and staples drives its 2026 edge but can lag equally in growth-led markets.
Taxable investors switching from VYM should redirect new contributions into HDV rather than selling lots with large embedded capital gains.
Two retirees, same $1 million, same 4% rule, buy one finished with $1.4 million, the other hit $0 in 12 years. Our free reader guide explains the flaw that separated them, and the income-first method built to avoid it.
If you own the Vanguard High Dividend Yield ETF (NYSEARCA:VYM), you own it for a good reason. VYM tracks the FTSE High Dividend Yield Index, holds roughly 500 above-average payers, and delivers a broad, cheap slice of dividend-paying American stocks. It is one of the most widely held income ETFs on the market, and for buy-and-hold investors who want a diversified basket of yielders without thinking too hard about it, VYM has done its job. But in 2026, VYM is losing ground to a much smaller, more concentrated peer from BlackRock that pays a higher yield and follows a very different rulebook.

Two years of Synopsys (SNPS) earnings calls show management changing what it explains. The company used to open on problems, some outside its control and some its own. The August 2026 call is built around a joint product with Ansys, agentic AI, and a new way to charge for its design IP. Most of that switch is earned, but parts of it are still a promise.
Synopsys Once Opened Its Calls With Bad News
Management used to point to underperformance in the IP business, where expected deals did not arrive, and to challenges at a major foundry customer that were having a sizable impact. The CEO said it plainly on an earlier call: "new export restrictions disrupted design starts in China."
None of that comes up on the August 2026 call. China does not come up. The closest thing to the old worry is that design starts outside AI have stopped declining.
Synopsys Now Leads With Multiphysics Fusion And Agentic AI

VYMI outran SCHY 29% to 23% over the past year while charging a lower 0.07% fee and covering both developed and emerging markets.
IDV delivers the highest yield at 5%, but its 0.50% expense ratio is seven times VYMI's fee, eroding long-term accumulation returns.
SCHY holders switching to VYMI in taxable accounts should check cost basis first, since many carry embedded gains after 2026's international rally.

SCHD holders reaching for international diversification usually land on one name first: Schwab International Dividend Equity ETF (NYSEARCA:SCHY), built on the same Dow Jones dividend-quality methodology that made the Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF (NYSEARCA:SCHD) a portfolio staple. SCHY looks like SCHD's international twin because Schwab designed it that way. However, three deep-pocketed rivals from Vanguard, Fidelity, and BlackRock now compete for the same wallet share, and one has quietly outrun SCHY on nearly every metric that matters to a SCHD-style investor.

The best time to refinance is when your credit score or overall financial situation has improved.
Generally, you should aim to either lower your interest rate or your monthly payment — preferably both.
Avoid refinancing when auto loan rates are high or if you won't be able to save money by switching lenders.
It makes sense to consider refinancing your auto loan if you can lower your interest rate and monthly payment. The refinancing process involves swapping your current loan for a new loan with different — and ideally better — terms.
However, refinancing is not always a wise financial move. If interest rates are high, or if you're close to paying off your loan, then it may make more sense to stick with your current lender. Knowing the ins and outs of when to refinance and when to wait will help you make the best decision for refinancing your auto loan.

The firm remains constructively bullish on U.S. equities and continues to be selective, valuation-sensitive, and focused on disruptive growth opportunities through active stock selection. Growth stocks advanced during the second quarter, as the Russell 1000 Growth Index generated strong double-digit returns driven by increased confidence in the durability of the ongoing artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure build-out. Additionally, reviewing the Fund's top five holdings could help identify its best picks for 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Parnassus Growth Equity Fund highlighted Lumentum Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:LITE). Lumentum Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:LITE) is a leading technology company that manufactures and sells optical and photonic products. On September 15, 2026, Lumentum Holdings Inc. closed at $838.96 per share. A Virginia-based defense contractor known for its Switchblade attack drones and, more recently, laser weapons and ****** e hardware, saw its BlueHalo unit win a Pentagon contract worth up to $99.8 million for ****** e systems research, according to Seeking Alpha.
Shares climbed more than 4% in the next session, the same report showed. Six months earlier, a far larger ****** e bet from that same unit collapsed and erased more than half the company's market value.
That contrast, not the $99.8 million figure, is the real story behind AeroVironment's (AVAV) Sept. 14 rally. It shows how hard the company has had to work to rebuild trust with the same customer in less than a year.
AVAV shares closed Sept. 14 at $153.40, up 4.56% from Friday, Sept. 11's close. That still leaves the stock about 63% below its all-time high of $417.86, a level reached on Oct. 9, 2025, which also marks AVAV's 52-week high.
The 52-week low is $135.20, meaning the stock has spent most of 2026 far closer to its floor than its ceiling. Wall Street has not given up on it.

Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) says its newly launched oral obesity drug Foundayo has captured more than 30% of new U.S. patients starting oral weight-loss medicines, a notable early gain against Novo Nordisk's Wegovy pill. Reuters reports that Wegovy initially held roughly 90% of the oral market, making Lilly's rapid share capture an important sign that the oral GLP-1 market is becoming a two-player competition rather than a Novo-dominated segment. The broader U.S. obesity-drug market is expected to exceed $100 billion annually by 2030, with oral treatments potentially accounting for more than one-third of GLP-1 use.
The timing is strategically important for Lilly because Foundayo was only launched in the U.S. in April 2026. The drug starts at $149 per month for self-pay patients and can cost as little as $25 for eligible commercially insured patients, while Medicare beneficiaries can access it through the GLP-1 Bridge program at $50 per month. Lilly's SEC filing says Mounjaro and Zepbound already represented 65% of its revenue in the first six months of 2026, highlighting both the importance of the incretin franchise and the opportunity for Foundayo to broaden Lilly's cardiometabolic revenue base.
The strongest bullish implication is that Foundayo appears to be overcoming the biggest behavioral barrier in obesity treatment: patients' preference for an oral medicine over an injection. Capturing more than 30% of new oral patients only months after launch suggests Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) is establishing meaningful competitive positioning before the oral GLP-1 market fully scales. Foundayo's formulation also has a practical advantage because it can be taken at any time of day without food or water restrictions, while Lilly's clinical data showed an average 27.3-pound, or 12.4%, weight reduction at the highest dose among patients who remained on treatment in ATTAIN-1.
The commercial opportunity could become considerably larger if Foundayo gains indications beyond obesity. Lilly reported that in the ACHIEVE-3 trial, Foundayo produced a 57.1% greater relative reduction in A1C and a 73.6% greater relative reduction in body weight compared with oral semaglutide 14 mg. Lilly submitted Foundayo for type 2 diabetes in the U.S., EU, and **** an, potentially expanding the addressable market beyond weight management.
The early oral-market traction also complements Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY)'s existing injectable franchise rather than simply cannibalizing it. A Lilly trial found that patients switching from maximum-tolerated Wegovy to Foundayo maintained all but 0.9 kg of their previous weight loss after one year, while patients switching from maximum-dose Zepbound to Foundayo maintained all but 5.0 kg. That suggests Foundayo could serve as a maintenance or lower-burden treatment within Lilly's broader obesity portfolio, increasing lifetime value per patient rather than limiting the opportunity to new prescriptions.

Retiring at 62 and living off a 401(k) until 70 keeps a couple in the 12% tax bracket, with an effective federal rate near 8% on roughly $133,000 in annual withdrawals.
Delaying Social Security to 70 grows each spouse's benefit by 8% per year, producing roughly $6,200 combined monthly in guaranteed, inflation-adjusted income plus a maximized survivor benefit.
Medicare's two-year income lookback means couples must keep joint MAGI below $218,000 or face IRMAA surcharges that add over $160 per month in Part B premiums.

A 62-year-old couple with $1.8 million in a traditional 401(k) and matching $3,100 monthly Social Security benefits available at full retirement age is looking at one of the most tax-efficient windows in the entire retirement code. The plan: retire now, live off the 401(k) for eight years, and switch to two delayed Social Security checks totaling roughly $6,200 a month at 70. It sounds aggressive. The math says it is close to optimal.

The firm remains constructively bullish on U.S. equities and continues to be selective, valuation-sensitive, and focused on disruptive growth opportunities through active stock selection.
Parnassus Growth Equity Fund stated the following regarding Lumentum Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:LITE) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"Lumentum Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:LITE) offers exposure to a key bottleneck in AI infrastructure, optical networking, as rising data demand drives a shift away from copper-based systems. I love how Matthieu Blazy created a dress for Ayo that feels specific to her, because you can't tell me you saw this dress and immediately thought Chanel. It's an Ayo dress, and that is what a custom look should do: reflect the person wearing it.

Meghan to head back to the US in 5 weeks for 'work'
"The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family," the spokesperson said. "This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there."

Hayden Gillim won his second King of the Baggers Championship after splitting wins with Bradley Smith at Circuit of the Americas. Gillim also won the **** le in 2023 riding for the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson team, and after the team switched to Indian this season, he became the first rider to win the **** le for two different manufacturers.
Gillim arrived at COTA with a 23-point lead over teammate Troy Herfoss and a 54-point gap over Harley-Davidson x Dynojet rider Smith. Gillim took Race 1 ahead of Smith and teammate Rocco Landers, while Herfoss retired after a crash on his third lap.
That result set up Race 2 on Sunday, where all Gillim needed to do was manage the gap rather than win outright. Gillim passed Herfoss on the opening lap but ceded the lead to Smith on the fourth lap. Smith held on to win by 4.717 seconds while Gillim held off SDI Racing's Tyler O'Hara to finish second. Herfoss finished off the podium in fifth, behind Harley-Davidson's James Rispoli.
With only a maximum of 50 points remaining across the two-race New Jersey finale, Gillim's 54-point cushion over Smith was enough to secure his second King of the Baggers crown.
"We didn't get the bikes until late and got one test in before the season started, and we came out winning," said Gillim, who won 8 of 12 races heading into New Jersey. "To be able to finish it early is pretty special, especially against the guys that we're racing against."

On Monday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs announced two practice squad elevations ahead of the "Monday Night Football" matchup with the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium.
Defensive tackle Marcus Harris and fullback Ben VanSumeren will be available to play against the Broncos.
Harris was a standout during training camp and the preseason, doing enough to make the initial 53-man roster on cutdown weekend before the team waived him the following day. The second-year player from Auburn cleared waivers and returned to the Chiefs' practice squad; the interior lineman wears No. 68, filling in for defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott (IR) as a reserve defensive tackle.
VanSumeren could be the Chiefs' first pure fullback to take the field since Michael Burton in 2022. The fourth-year player entered the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent linebacker from Michigan. Listed at 6 feet 2 inches tall and 258 pounds, VanSumeren switched to the fullback position in 2025, appearing in one game for the Eagles.

Florida State football rumors: Is Jimbo Fisher an option to replace Mike Norvell if he's fired? appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Florida State Seminoles fired Michael Alford as athletic director on Monday. After the University made its final decision to switch things up for its future in sports, rumors began swirling around Mike Norvell's job security as the head coach of the football program. The rumors have already gotten to the point that there is now some buzz that Jimbo Fisher could reprise his role as the Seminoles' head coach if Norvell were to be let go.
While that may be the case, Florida State President Richard McCullough didn't provide much details about Norvell's position. When asked firing the athletic director means for the 44-year-old head coach's future with the program, McCullough claimed that FSU is simply focused on winning, according to Adam Rittenberg of ESPN.
"Nobody wants to win more than Mike Norvell," McCullough said. "College coaches are in the winning business. That's what we're working on."

Sarah Pidgeon, who is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette at the Emmys this evening, attended the BAFTA TV Tea Party held at The Maybourne Beverly Hills on Sunday.
Christopher Polk/Deadline via Getty Images
If you were worried that Sarah's awards season run was going to be a succession of black dresses, fear not, because she switched gears in a Givenchy Pre-Fall 2026 oxblood leather dress.
There is considerably more going on here than we've seen from Sarah on the red carpet recently. The folded, asymmetric neckline gives the leather some shape and interest, while the oxblood colour is a welcome change of pace.
For me, this is the kind of look that makes Sarah's style more interesting. The black dresses have served her well and become something of a signature, but I'm hoping this is an indication of what she could give us as awards season gathers pace.

Austria's national team head coach Ralf Rangnick announced his squad for the upcoming international matches this Monday afternoon - and our young goalkeeper Christian Zawieschitzky can celebrate his very first call-up to the senior national team! According to the coach, the plan is for our keeper to join the senior squad next week for at least the first two matches of the extended international break, before potentially switching to the U21 team for the European Championship qualifiers afterward.
It's certainly something you dream about as a small child. I used to attend open Austria training sessions just to watch, since it was in my neighborhood, and I even took photos with players like David Alaba. I never imagined things would move this fast and that I'd suddenly be there as a player myself, but I'm very grateful to have this opportunity. The call-up actually comes as a surprise to me. I thought that if I were to be included anywhere, it would likely be the U21s - which I would have thought was great, too. I didn't expect to be part of the senior national team right away. I'm just really looking forward to it - though I also know we have two matches coming up before the international break, and those are the priority right now.
Christian Zawieschitzky
Nikolas Veratschnig is also on board! Our wide player was previously named in an Austria squad last year but is still awaiting his international debut for Austria - his strong performances in recent weeks have now earned him another call-up
I'm absolutely delighted - honestly, even more so than before. I was with the national team once before but didn't get any playing time back then. My clear goal in moving to Salzburg was to prove myself again here and earn another call-up to the national team. I am absolutely delighted that this has worked out. I want to show the head coach what I'm capable of, give it my all in training, and make a lasting impression - and perhaps that will be enough to earn some playing time.

Why Falcons likely won't bench Cooper Rush for beloved UDFA after rough Week 1 originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Atlanta Falcons have a very brutal quarterback situation during the 2026 NFL season. Michael Penix Jr. is supposed to be the starter, but he's coming off an injury and isn't 100% just yet.
Tua Tagovailoa was meant to be the starter, but he sustained an oblique injury during practice, leaving Cooper Rush to start. He, too, was dealing with an injury, but the Falcons stuck with him as the starter. That was a mistake, as he really struggled.
It wouldn't be surprising for fans and media to call for the Falcons to start beloved undrafted free agent quarterback Jack Strand in place of Rush. But, Marc Raimondi of ESPN shared why the Falcons won't make the switch, as they don't believe he's ready yet.
"It does not seem like the team thinks undrafted rookie Jack Strand, who played great in the preseason, is ready just yet," Raimondi writes.

King Charles appears to have helped clear up a royal misunderstanding surrounding Prince Harry's Invictus Games. Uganda has reversed its decision to withdraw from the 2027 event after a phone call involving Buckingham Palace. The switch comes just days after Uganda's military chief said the country would stay away out of respect for King Charles. Now, the team is back in.
Uganda's military announced the reversal on Sept. 14. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba approved the Uganda People's Defence Forces' participation in the Invictus Games 2027 after speaking with Sir Clive Alderton.
Alderton serves as Principal Private Secretary to King Charles and Queen Camilla. The official Ugandan statement said the two men spoke by phone before Kainerugaba reinstated the team.
ITV News reported that Alderton told Kainerugaba the King was "moved" by his consideration of the monarch's position. However, King Charles had "no problem" with Uganda competing and encouraged the country to continue.
That clarification resolved an unusual dispute. Kainerugaba announced Uganda's withdrawal on Sept. 9 because he did not want participation interpreted as opposition to King Charles. He also said Uganda would not join anything without the monarch's approval.

Energy Transfer LP (NYSE:ET) is set to move the primary listing of its common and Series I preferred units from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange in early October, making it the first major company to make such a switch from the NYSE to the newly established Dallas exchange. Reuters said the companies moving to TXSE, including Energy Transfer and related energy businesses, represent nearly $100 billion in combined market value, giving the fledgling exchange an important early credibility boost.
For Energy Transfer LP (NYSE:ET), however, the more important question is whether the move can eventually translate into better investor visibility or valuation rather than simply giving the company a stronger Texas identity. WSJ reported that Energy Transfer is worth roughly $75 billion and that Executive Chairman Kelcy Warren is a major backer of TXSE, owning about 30% of its parent company. That relationship makes the listing particularly significant, but it also means investors may scrutinize whether the decision creates a tangible benefit for Energy Transfer unitholders rather than primarily helping establish the new exchange.
The strongest bull argument is that Energy Transfer LP (NYSE:ET) is positioning itself ahead of a potentially important shift in the U.S. energy infrastructure market. TXSE is backed by major financial institutions including BlackRock, Citadel Securities, and Charles Schwab, and winning a roughly $75 billion company gives the exchange substantially more credibility with institutional investors. If TXSE attracts additional large energy companies, Energy Transfer could benefit from becoming one of the exchange's anchor names and gaining greater visibility among investors already focused on Texas-based energy infrastructure.
More importantly, the listing decision fits the underlying environment in which Energy Transfer LP (NYSE:ET) operates. Reuters has highlighted continued investment in U.S. gas-fired generation, LNG infrastructure, and pipeline networks as electricity demand rises and countries seek reliable energy supplies. The U.S. is also building substantial additional LNG export capacity. That matters because Energy Transfer's extensive midstream network can benefit from higher volumes of natural gas, crude oil, and NGLs without taking the same direct commodity-price exposure as upstream producers. If rising power demand from data centers and continued LNG development drive greater demand for U.S. gas transportation, Energy Transfer could see expanding opportunities to place additional infrastructure into service and lock in long-duration cash flows.
